Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika sering kali dianggap abstrak dan kurang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar. Etnomatematika, sebagai pendekatan yang mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan budaya lokal, hadir untuk menjembatani kesenjangan ini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau literatur terkait peran etnomatematika dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur (literature review) untuk menganalisis dan mengumpulkan hasil-hasil penelitian yang relevan mengenai penerapan etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika dan dampaknya terhadap mutu pendidikan. Metode ini dipilih karena memungkinkan penulis untuk mengidentifikasi tren penelitian, kesenjangan pengetahuan, serta memahami kontribusi etnomatematika terhadap pembelajaran matematika di berbagai konteks. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa etnomatematika mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika, memotivasi siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam pembelajaran, serta memberikan konteks pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan bermakna. Tantangan dalam implementasi, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan pelatihan bagi guru, juga diidentifikasi. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, etnomatematika dapat berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan matematika.  Berdasarkan tinjauan literatur yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa etnomatematika memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Pattani Province in southern Thailand is the only province with the majority of the Muslim population. Besides Pattani the majority of Thai residents (67 million people) are Buddhists. Only 10% of Thai people are Muslims, including Pattani's Muslim Malay minority. Some data suggest that the Thai government made policies that often discredited and did not accommodate the interests of Malay Muslims. This became one of the reasons for the emergence of opposition to Thai government and ethnicity. For example, must use the Thai language (thaification Program) reinforced by the prohibition of the use of Malay language and nationalization of Thai society culture through language and customs. The cultural policies relating to the use of Thai language and customs are intended to promote Thai nationalism, while they erode the identity (religion and culture) of Pattani Malay. The Malay minority resistance was led by the scholar Tuan Guru Haji Sulong Al-Fathani. He also acted as negotiator with the Thai government in order to fight for Malay Muslim aspirations. His negotiations resulted in a policy of the enactment of Malay language education as a curriculum material at Pattani National School.

Abstract

Internal quality assurance is a strategic element in maintaining the quality and credibility of education delivery. However, the implementation still tends to be administratively oriented and has not fully touched the dimensions of academic values and integrity. This study aims to analyze the development of scientific studies on internal quality assurance and examine the relevance of Siri’ values as an ethical foundation in strengthening academic integrity. This study uses a quantitative approach with a bibliometric analysis method. Data was obtained from Scopus indexed scientific publications relevant to the topics of internal quality assurance and academic integrity, then analyzed using the VOSviewer software through keyword co-occurrence techniques. The results of the study show that internal quality assurance has a strong relationship with academic integrity, self-evaluation, quality implementation competence, and the role of external quality assurance. These findings confirm that integrity is a key prerequisite for the effectiveness of internal quality assurance. The value of Siri’ as local wisdom is seen as relevant to strengthen the dimensions of moral awareness, academic responsibility, and institutional honor in the implementation of quality assurance. This research contributes to the development of conceptual understanding of internal quality assurance based on local cultural values as an effort to build a sustainable culture of educational quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengelolaan SMA Islam Albayina Makassar sebagai sekolah Islam salaf yang mengintegrasikan kurikulum nasional dengan nilai-nilai Al-Quran dan Sunnah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh dari transkrip wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan staf, difokuskan pada aspek perencanaan, kurikulum, kesiswaan, tenaga pendidik, stakeholder, budaya sekolah, serta faktor pendukung-penghambat. Temuan menunjukkan keberhasilan integrasi holistik yang menghasilkan akreditasi B dan prestasi siswa, meskipun tantangan seperti keterbatasan sarana dan inkonsistensi orang tua. Pembahasan mengonfirmasi efektivitas model salaf dalam membentuk lulusan kompetitif secara akademik dan karakter Islami. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan manajemen pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, dengan rekomendasi penguatan kolaborasi stakeholder untuk adaptasi era digital.

Abstract

Pendidikan berbasis alam merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang menekankan pembelajaran kontekstual, tematik integratif, dan pengalaman langsung melalui pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan dan pengelolaan pendidikan berbasis alam di Sekolah Alam Bosowa, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan model pendidikan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipatif pasif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pendidikan di Sekolah Alam Bosowa berlangsung secara fleksibel, kreatif, dan menyenangkan. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang membimbing siswa untuk aktif mengeksplorasi pengetahuan melalui kegiatan di alam terbuka. Selain itu, pembelajaran di sekolah ini mengintegrasikan nilai karakter, kepedulian lingkungan, dan kemandirian siswa melalui proyek lapangan dan kegiatan sosial. Model pendidikan berbasis alam ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan yang lebih berfokus pada pendekatan holistik, yang tidak hanya mencakup aspek akademik, tetapi juga emosional, sosial, dan ekologis. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar model pendidikan berbasis alam dapat diadaptasi dan diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah lain untuk mendukung perkembangan siswa yang lebih menyeluruh dan relevan dengan tantangan dunia nyata.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of compensation, competence, and transformational leadership on lecturer performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to confirm the relationships among variables. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from 289 lecturers at private Islamic universities in Indonesia. The instrument was developed based on indicators for each variable, validated by experts, and pilot-tested, demonstrating validity and reliability. The results indicate that compensation significantly influences work motivation, but does not directly impact performance; however, compensation influences performance through motivation. Competence significantly influences motivation and performance, and improves performance through motivation. Transformational leadership significantly influences motivation but does not directly impact performance; rather, it does so through motivation. Work motivation significantly influences lecturer performance. The implications of this study emphasise that improving lecturer performance can be achieved through policies that strengthen motivation, such as fair compensation, competency development, and transformational leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the description of the needs analysis of the development of environment-based mathematics learning models in junior high schools / MTs so far; 2) Obtain comprehensive information in designing environment-based mathematics learning models to improve learning outcomes in junior high schools; 3) Produce products in the form of model books and environment-based mathematics learning tools that are valid to improve learning outcomes in junior high schools; 4) Produce products in the form of model books and environment-based mathematics learning tools that are practical to improve learning outcomes in junior high schools; 5) Produce products in the form of model books and environment-based mathematics learning tools that are effective for improving learning outcomes in junior high schools. The subjects of this research were students and teachers of MTs. Aisyiyah Sungguminasa. The research and development procedure used is the 4-D (Four-D) model, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, test, questionnaire and documentation. The research instruments used learning implementation observation instruments, student learning outcomes assessment test instruments, and learning device validation sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out by (1) analyzing the level of validity, (2) analyzing the level of practicality, and (3) analyzing student and teacher response data. The results of this study indicate the need for the development of an environment-based mathematics learning model to improve learning outcomes at MTs. Aisyiyah Sungguminasa. The validation test results showed that the model book, learning tools and several research questionnaires were declared very valid based on expert assessments. Furthermore, the results of the practicality test also stated that this model proved to be very practical based on the results of observations of learning implementation and teacher and student response questionnaires.

Abstract

This study develops and evaluates the Environment-Based Mathematics Learning (EBML) model as a transformational instructional approach to improve learning quality and outcomes in secondary mathematics. The model integrates environmental exploration, contextual problem-solving, and collaborative inquiry to strengthen students’ conceptual understanding. Using a developmental research design, EBML was validated through expert assessments, classroom observations, student responses, and pre–post learning performance. The validation results show a high level of conceptual and structural validity (average score 3.72), while practicality tests indicate strong acceptance among teachers (90.63%) and students (92.16%). Effectiveness analysis demonstrates significant improvement in learning outcomes, with achievement increasing from 62.06% to 87.79% and a gain index of 0.68. Student activity also remained consistently high across all learning stages. The findings confirm that EBML is a feasible, effective, and contextually rich model that transforms mathematics learning by connecting abstract concepts to meaningful environmental experiences.

Abstract

Perkembangan sastra di Indonesia berkaitan dengan dunia Islam, khususnya yang berisi tentang pendidikan Islam dapat dilihat dalam tradisi sastra klasik. Terutama jenis karya sastra yaitu hikayat. Hikayat merupakan sastra Aceh dan Melayu yang berasal dari bahasa Arab hikayah. Tradisi sastra Aceh, hikayat selalu berbentuk puisi. Hikayat ini sendiri sarat akan makna dan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang disampaikan di dalamnya. Baik berupa pesan agama, politik, sejarah dan budaya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengambil lokasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1Peukan Pidie. Dengan 25 siswa dan siswi. Waktu peaksanaan 1 hari pada tanggal 21 Februari 2023. PKM dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan peran serta anggota dan mahasiswa program studi seni teater jurusan pertunjukan di Institut Seni Budaya Indonesia Aceh. PKM dipaparkan dengan media berupa laptop, infocus dan pembagian materi kepada siswi agar materi PKM dapat diserap dengan baik oleh para siswi yang menjadi sasaran. PKM terbagi dalam beberapa bagian, yaitu sesi pemberian materi, sesi tanya jawab, pelatiahan tentang berhikayat Aceh dan sesi evaluasi. Selain itu juga diadakan perlombaan untuk siswi agar menarik minat dan membangkitkan motivasi para siswi. Kata Kunci: Hikayat Aceh dan BerbicaraThe development of literature in Indonesia related to the Islamic world, especially regarding Islamic education, can be seen in the classical literary tradition. Especially the type of literary work, namely saga. Hikayat is Acehnese and Malay literature which comes from the Arabic hikayah. In Aceh's literary tradition, sagas always take the form of poetry. This saga itself is full of meaning and values of Islamic education conveyed in it. Both in the form of religious, political, historical and cultural messages. This community service activity took place at Peukan Pidie 1 State Elementary School. With 25 students and girls. The peak time is 1 day on February 21 2023. PKM is carried out involving the participation of members and students of the theater arts study program majoring in performance at the Indonesian Institute of Cultural Arts, Aceh. PKM is presented using media in the form of laptops, infocus and distribution of material to female students so that the PKM material can be absorbed well by the target female students. PKM is divided into several parts, namely a material presentation session, a question and answer session, training on the Acehnese saga and an evaluation session. Apart from that, competitions were also held for female students to attract interest and arouse motivation among female students. Keywords: Acehnese Tales and Talking
