Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Al-Amin Makassar serta menilai peran dan manajemennya dalam mendukung pendidikan agama bagi santri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Al-Amin mengintegrasikan kurikulum tradisional, seperti pengajaran kitab kuning, dengan metode modern yang mendorong keterampilan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik santri. Struktur organisasi yang dipimpin oleh Kyai H. Faiz menekankan kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, sedangkan program pembelajaran unggulan mencakup tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan pendidikan fiqih. Selain itu, pesantren menyediakan layanan konseling untuk santri dan melibatkan orang tua dalam proses pendidikan, sehingga tercipta dukungan holistik dalam pengembangan karakter dan keterampilan santri. Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Al-Amin merupakan salah satu contoh pendidikan non-formal dalam kategori pondok pesantren asrama. Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Al-Amin memainkan peran signifikan dalam sistem pendidikan non-formal di Indonesia, dengan pendekatan komprehensif yang mengintegrasikan pengajaran agama melalui kitab-kitab kuning dan berbagai disiplin ilmu lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting style on child development. are at an important stage in the formation of social character and behavior. The parenting style applied by parents can play a significant role in shaping a child's personality, social skills, and independence. The study identified a variety of parenting styles, namely authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and indifferent. Using quantitative methods, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to parents and observations in the classroom. The results of the study show that authoritative parenting styles have a significant positive impact on children's social and emotional development. Children who are raised in a supportive environment, but also provide clear boundaries, show better ability to interact with peers and are more confident in social situations. In contrast, authoritarian and permissive parenting styles tend to have a negative impact, with children showing difficulty in managing emotions and social relationships. These findings confirm the importance of the active role of parents in educating children at an early age. The conclusion of this study highlights the need for education for parents regarding the importance of proper parenting styles. By understanding the influences that can be caused, it is hoped that parents can develop more effective parenting patterns to support the optimal development of their children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk mempelajari dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan organisasi dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi akademik siswa SMP Islam Athirah Makassar (2) untuk mempelajari dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel yang dominan terhadap prestasi akademik siswa SMP Islam Athirah Makassar. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada sekolah Islam Athirah dengan Populasi Penelitian ini adalah 157 siswa. Pendekatan penelitian adalah penelitian asosiatif. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan analisa regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Secara serentak lingkungan organisasi dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik siswa di SMP Islam Athirah Makassar. (2) Secara parsial Motivasi Belajar lebih dominan berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik siswa dibandingkan dengan Lingkungan Organisasi pada SMP Islam Athirah Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran guru penggerak dalam mensukseskan Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Fokus penelitian mencakup pemahaman terhadap kemampuan guru penggerak dalam membimbing rekan-rekan guru, menciptakan lingkungan belajar kolaboratif, dan melaksanakan tugas administratif secara efektif. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan mengeksplorasi berbagai sumber seperti, jurnal, artikel, skripsi, dan sumber-sumber relevan lainnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peran guru penggerak sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik dan menjamin keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami dan meningkatkan peran guru penggerak dalam mewujudkan visi Kurikulum Merdeka serta membentuk karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

The needs analysis for implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL) with Aswaja values in mathematics courses at the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program is essential to assess student and lecturer readiness, challenges, and preferences. This study aims to analyze the need for a PBL model with Aswaja values to enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes at the Islamic University of Makassar. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study explores the application of this model in PGSD mathematics courses. Data were collected from students and lecturers through observation, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed using qualitative techniques, including coding, analysis, data triangulation, and presentation. The findings indicate a strong need for a PBL model with Aswaja values, as seen in three key aspects: learning model needs, learning challenges, and learning expectations. This study contributes to integrating PBL with Aswaja values systematically, enhancing both mathematical understanding and character development in PGSD students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan konsep sekolah berciri internasional di SMP Lazuardi Athaillah Global Compassionate School, yang terletak di Kabupaten Gowa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah serta observasi terhadap fasilitas dan program yang diterapkan di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah ini mengimplementasikan tiga kurikulum utama: Kurikulum Merdeka, Kurikulum Cambridge, dan kurikulum khas Lazuardi. Fokus utama sekolah adalah pengembangan keterampilan bahasa Inggris siswa melalui program English Day dan berbagai program inovatif seperti TED Talk. Selain itu, SMP Lazuardi Athaillah Global Compassionate School unggul dalam kualitas pengajaran dan fasilitas teknologi modern. Kesimpulannya, sekolah ini berhasil menggabungkan pendekatan internasional dengan nilai-nilai lokal, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang komprehensif dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Thinking is one of the abilities that humans have to distinguish them from other creatures through cognitive processing of information. One type of thinking ability that is an important skill in the 21st century is critical thinking skills. This research is a literature review that describes the definition of critical thinking, indicators of critical thinking and mathematics learning that supports the development of critical thinking. Critical thinking skills are very important to develop in mathematics learning because it can optimize students' mathematical problem solving abilities at various levels of problems and other mathematical abilities through reasoning, identifying and analyzing problems; identifying various possible solutions, reviewing assessing each possible solution and deciding on solutions with evidentiary arguments; reflecting through the delivery of solutions based on critical thinking reviews that have been carried out so that it has implications for mathematics learning outcomes and even as capital in facing life's challenges.

Abstract

Performance-based organizations are the demands of the people as they are eager to get maximum services from the government. Thus, to ensure the high performance of the state apparatus, especially those who serve in sub-district offices, the support of good governance is necessary. This study aims to investigate the effect of good governance on sub-district apparatus performance. This research applied a quantitative descriptive method with a sample size of 92 people selected from 1201 heads of households. The research was conducted in Uluale Sub-District, Watangpulu District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The results showed that the application of the principle of good governance and apparatus performance was included in the category of "quite good" while the application of good governance was still less influential in improving apparatus performance. This shows that the performance of the apparatus is not optimal because the application of good governance is not yet serious. Keywords: Apparatus, Good Governance, Performance, Public, Sub-District

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepraktisan serta efektivitas pemanfaatan e-book dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Metode penelitian ini penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, serta menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Bontonompo, Kabupaten Gowa. Subjek penelitian adalah para ahli dan siswa kelas VII sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa e-book memiliki tingkat kepraktisan yang sangat praktis dalam penggunaannya di kelas. Selain itu, efektivitasnya terbukti dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Produk e-book yang dikembangkan layak diimplementasikan sebagai media pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant innovations in the education sector, including the transformation of school principals' leadership from conventional to virtual forms. This study aims to examine the level of virtual leadership competence among elementary school principals in Makassar City. A mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed, in which quantitative data analysis informed the qualitative phase. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. In contrast, qualitative data were analyzed using the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014), which consists of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results show that the principals' virtual leadership competence is at a very high level, with an average score of 72.78 (53%), which falls within the score range of 72 < X < 90. This competence is demonstrated through six key indicators: e-communication, e-social, e-team, e-change, e-tech, and e-trust. The high level of competence is attributed to principals' proactive roles in maintaining teacher performance and ensuring the quality of educational services during online learning. The study highlights the shift in leadership dynamics and contributes new insights into the digital competencies required of school principals in a post-pandemic educational landscape.
