Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan tahap emas dalam proses perkembangan manusia. Namun demikian, perilaku bullying yang sering muncul pada masa ini dapat menjadi ancaman serius bagi perkembangan psikologis dan sosial remaja. Penguatan karakter asertif merupakan salah satu upaya preventif yang dapat membantu remaja terhindar dari peran sebagai pelaku maupun korban bullying. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mencegah perilaku bullying pada remaja di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang menekankan pemahaman tentang bullying, dampaknya, dan faktor penyebabnya, serta penguatan karakter asertif. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui konseling interaktif dan pelatihan asertif guna meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta dan kemampuan dalam menyatakan pendapat serta menolak perlakuan negatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memperoleh pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang lebih baik mengenai bahaya dan dampak perilaku bullying, memiliki komitmen yang lebih kuat untuk mencegah bullying di sekolah, serta menunjukkan peningkatan keberanian dan kemampuan untuk menolak perilaku bullying secara asertif. Program ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan karakter asertif pada remaja sebagai upaya pencegahan bullying di lingkungan sekolah.Kata kunci: Bullying, remaja, asertif

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model for leadership appointment positions in the Regional Government of Nusa Tenggara Barat. Using Yin multi case study method, data collection was carried out through observation, tracing and document analysis as well as in-depth interviews with informants consisting of two clusters (K-I and K-II). This research found that competence supports meritocracy, because the higher the competence, the better the meritocracy value. Meritocracy get the most dominant element, and political intervention has a negative role on employees and hinders the implementation of meritocracy, however, political functions in policy formulation and political control over the bureaucracy are needed. Local wisdom strengthens values ​​of morality and integrity so as to fortify the unfair competition between civil servants and the discretion of regional heads. Talent management as urgent factor considering that more than half of the human resources are in a critical age. The study recommends developing a model for leadership appointment position with local wisdom and talent management elements that reinforce competence and meritocracy and inhibit political discretion towards superior performing leaders.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of school principals’ leadership, grounded in the Javanese philosophy of Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, which, in English, at the front gives an example, and the school climate on the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Indonesia. The Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo philosophy emphasizes the role of leaders as role models who inspire and guide their subordinates. A positive and supportive school climate is likewise considered essential for fostering teacher development. Adopting a quantitative research design, this study involved 122 elementary school teachers selected through cluster sampling in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study indicate that leadership grounded in Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo and a conducive school climate have a positive, statistically significant effect on improving teacher competency (p < 0.001). This result differs from most studies of educational leadership at the global level, which still focus on the dominance of Western leadership models and rarely integrate local cultural values as the primary basis for analysis. This study explicitly fills this gap by presenting a leadership model rooted in local wisdom. This study provides a new space for empirical testing of culture-based leadership to improve teacher competency. This area has so far been under-researched in the international literature. Theoretically, this study enriches the study of educational leadership by broadening the perspective of leadership models through the integration of non-Western cultural values. Practically and internationally, this study can provide important implications for policymakers and school administrators, especially in multicultural and developing countries, in designing leadership development programs and school governance that are contextual, globally relevant, and sensitive to local culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes on water’s   Cycle material in class V through the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the help of Google Meet.  The  research  conducted  was  Classroom  Action  Research  (CAR)  in two  cycles.  Each cycle consists  of planning,  action,  observation,  and reflection.  Data collection techniques used were observation,  tests,  and documentation  of teacher and student activities, as well as written tests of student learning outcomes. In the first cycle of students who completed by 66,7%. In the second cycle of students who completed by 83.3%. These results indicate that the application of the Problem  Based Learning model with the help of google meet can improve student learning outcomes  on the Water Life Cycle material for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Jeblogan 4 for the 2019/2020  academic year.
