Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Adversity Quotient (AQ) on Career Adaptability (CA) and to examine the role of Spiritual Religious (SR) as a moderating variable in this relationship. The scope of the research focuses on students of the Master of Islamic Education (MPAI) program at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, who are facing academic challenges and preparing for careers in Islamic education. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach. The sample consisted of 164 students selected using total sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square(SEM-PLS) method via SmartPLS 4. The results showed that AQ had a positive and significant effect on CA (β = 0.683; p < 0.001). However, SR did not have a significant direct effect on CA (β = 0.066; p = 0.175), nor as a moderating variable (β = 0.070; p = 0.180). Simultaneously, AQ and SR explained 47.1% of the variance in CA. The study concludes that AQ is a key factor in shaping students' career adaptability, while SR serves more as a source of internal motivation rather than a statistically significant predictor. This research recommends strengthening students’ personal resilience through psychological and spiritual approaches within Islamic education.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aktivitas guru dan siswa di kelas dalam pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan teknik dan instrumen penelitian berupa observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa di dua sekolah menengah pertama, yaitu satu di Lamongan dan satu lagi di Kota Batu. Ada sebanyak tujuh guru yang memberikan informasi tentang proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Tujuh siswa memberikan informasi tentang harapan mereka terhadap pengembangan karakter dan ada sebanyak dua ratus tujuh siswa yang diukur tingkat karakter tanggung jawab mereka melalui angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui analisi tematik dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan aktivitas guru dalam mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa disebabkan oleh adanya pemahaman tentang kondisi karakter siswanya. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa pengembangan karakter sebaiknya dimulai dengan adanya identifikasi kebutuhan siswa dalam belajar. Pendekatan mixed-method dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam upaya untuk menyempurnakan penelitian tentang pengembangan karaktertanggung jawab pada siswa.AbstractThis research aims to describe and analyze the activities of teachers and students in the classroom in the developing responsibility character. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method research assisted by techniques and instruments in the form of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The subjects in this research were teachers and students in two junior high schools, namely one in Lamongan and another in Batu City. There are seven teachers who provide information about the learning process in the classroom. Seven students provided information about their expectations of character development and there were two hundred and seven students whose level of responsible character was measured through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are carried out through thematic analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of this research indicate that the success of teacher activities in developing students' responsible character is caused by an understanding of the condition of their students' character. The results of this research have the implication that character development should begin with the identifying students' learning needs. The mixed-method approach can be used as an alternative in an effort to perfect research on the development of responsible character in students

Abstract

AbstrakEvaluasi hasil belajar siswa merupakan usaha yang perlu dilaksanakan oleh seorang pendidik. Dalam rangka mengukur ketercapaian tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk asesmen pada mata kuliah Psikologi Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tentang bagaimanakah daya beda, tingkat kesukaran, dan kualitas butir soal mata kuliah Psikologi Pendidikan di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Soal dalam asesmen disusun berdasarkan 4 tema dalam materi ini dan dikembangkan menjadi 24 butir soal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim dengan mengikutsertakan 23 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan cara memberikan interpretasi deskriptif atas data kualitatif yang ada. Soal yang telah dibuat akan dilakukan analisa yang meliputi reliabilitas soal, daya beda soal, derajat kesukaran, korelasi skor item terhadap skor total, dan kualitas pengecoh. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, didapati bahwa soal yang telah dibuat dapat digunakan lagi. Beberapa perubahan masih diperlukan, seperti penggantian soal dengan daya pembeda rendah. Kualitas pengecoh pada pilihan jawaban harus ditingkatkan agar pertanyaan menjadi lebih berkualitas. Soal-soal tersebut memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang lumayan. Soal dibagi secara merata dalam kompleksitas, mulai dari yang sangat sulit hingga yang sangat mudah. Kata kunci: Asesmen, Psikologi Pendidikan, Anates Abstract Evaluation of student learning outcomes is an effort that needs to be carried out by an educator. In order to measure the achievement of the goals that have been set. This research was conducted for assessment in Educational Psychology course. This study aims to examine how the differentiating power, level of difficulty, and quality of items in the Educational Psychology course at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang are. The questions in the assessment are arranged based on 4 themes in this material and developed into 24 items. This research was conducted at the Department of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim by involving 23 students. This research was conducted by providing a descriptive interpretation of the existing qualitative data. The questions that have been made will be analyzed which includes the reliability of the questions, the differentiating power of the questions, the degree of difficulty, the correlation of the item scores to the total score, and the quality of distractors. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the questions that have been made can be used again. Some changes are still needed, such as the replacement of questions with low discriminating power. The quality of the distractors in the answer choices must be improved so that the questions are of higher quality. These questions have a decent level of difficulty. Abstract

The Final Examination is conducted to test students' understanding of the lecture material that has been taken. The questions given must have a quality so that they can measure learning outcomes appropriately. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of UAS questions for the Student Learning Psychology subject at X University. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. Item analysis based on validity, reliability, discriminating power, level of difficulty, and effectiveness of the distractor. The questions consist of 3 types; multiple choice, true-false, and essay. Data collection techniques used the questionnaire method and the results of the data were analyzed using Anates ver.4 software, and Microsoft Excel. The results of the analysis stated that the test questions for the Learning Psychology subject were of good quality. The true-false questions obtained test reliability results of 0.41 and the multiple choice questions obtained 0.46 indicating that the questions had moderate reliability. Distinguishing power of true-false questions has a percentage of 12.50% to 68.75%, multiple choice questions 18.75% to 62.50% and essay questions 15.63% to 29.63% which means the questions have different power ranging from bad to very good. The difficulty level of true and false questions obtained a percentage of 51.67% to 95%, multiple choice questions 33% to 81%, and essay questions 33% to 55% indicating that there were no difficult questions. The effectiveness of the distractor on multiple choice questions 30% has the effectiveness of the less good distractor, 10% which is included in the effectiveness of the good distractor is 50%. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the deception is very good, 10%. Ujian Akhir Semester dilakukan untuk menguji pemahaman mahasiswa terkait materi perkuliahan yang telah ditempuh. Soal yang diberikan harus memiliki kualitas yang suapaya dapat mengukur hasil belajar dengan tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kualitas soal UAS mata kuliah Psikologi Belajar Mahasiswa Universitas X. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis soal berdasarkan validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Soal terdiri dari 3 tipe; pilihan ganda, benar-salah, dan essay. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuisioner dan hasil data dianalisis menggunakan software Anates ver.4, dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil dari analisis menyatakan bahwa soal UAS mata kuliah Psikologi Belajar merupakan soal yang berkualitas baik. Soal benar-salah memperoleh hasil reliabilitas tes sebesar 0.41 dan soal pilihan ganda memperoleh angka 0.46 menunjukkan bahwa soal memiiki reliabilitas yang sedang. Daya beda soal benar-salah memiliki persentase 12.50% sampai 68.75% , soal pilihan ganda 18.75% sampai 62.50% dan soal essay 15,63% sampai 29.63%yang berarti soal memiliki daya beda yang beragam mulai jelek hingga baik sekali. Tingkat kesukaran soal benar salah memperoleh persentase  51.67 %  sampai 95% , soal pilihan ganda 33% sampai 81%, dan soal essay 33% sampai 55% menunjukan tidak ada soal yang sukar. Efektifitas pengecoh pada soal pilihan ganda 30% memiliki efektivitas pengecoh kurang baik, 10% yang termasuk dalam efektivitas pengecoh baik adalah 50%. Abstract

Objective. This study aims to elaborate on the role of lecturer-student collaboration in developing student creativity. Method. This research is mix-method research. Data were obtained from 30 students and eight lecturers at three state universities in Malang, East Java. Data was collected through a creative personality scale and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, while interview data were analyzed by thematic analysis. Findings. The analysis results show that lecturer-student collaboration activities have implications for the high level of student creativity. Conclusion. The results of this study have implications that lecturer activities have an essential role in developing student creativity. The limitation of this research lies in the data collection process, which is only done online. Abstract

Exploring the Validity of a Creative Personality Scale in University Settings: A Confirmatory Factor Analysis Approach. Objective: This study aims to validate a revised 24-item Creative Personality Scale explicitly tailored for university students using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The scale addresses gaps in existing tools initially designed for high school students and offers a more accurate fit for higher education contexts. Methods: A sample of 804 students from various faculties was selected through stratified random sampling to ensure diverse representation. The scale was revised after the initial analysis revealed inconsistencies in certain items within the university context. CFA was then employed to assess the revised scale's construct validity and reliability. Findings: The revised scale demonstrated significant improvements in internal consistency, with Cronbach's Alpha increasing from 0.823 to 0.858. Additionally, model fit indices were favourable, with a Comparative Fit Index (CFI) of 0.92 and a Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) of 0.04, indicating strong model validity. Conclusion: This validated scale provides a reliable and accurate tool for assessing creativity in university students. It enables educational institutions to support better creativity development, which is increasingly essential for academic and professional success. Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing student well-being in middle and high schools, focusing on school climate, classroom, and creativity. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 600 students using three validated scales: the multidimensional school climate questionnaire, the creativity scale, and the well-being scale. Descriptive and regression analyses reveal a positive school climate and innovative classroom practices significantly enhance student creativity and well-being. Furthermore, creativity mediates the relationship between schools’ role and student well-being, indicating that the positive effects of a supportive school environment on well-being are primarily due to increased creativity. These findings underscore the importance of fostering a supportive and engaging educational environment to promote students' creativity and well-being. The study's results offer valuable insights for educators and policymakers in developing targeted interventions to enhance student creativity and well-being.

Abstract

Keberadaan remaja yatim/piatu sebagai salah satu sumber daya manusia dalam membangun bangsa perlu mendapat perhatian dan dukungan dalam proses pengembangan optimisme mereka dalam menghadapi kehidupan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membangun optimisme remaja yatim/piatu melalui pelatihan wirausaha kerajinan tangan. Subjek dampingan berjumlah 15 orang yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria kegiatan pengabdian. Pihak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya Jemaah pengajian An-nisa, staf kelurahan, karang taruna dan masyarakat sekitar. Ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan secara simultan dalam proses pengabdian ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan optimisme para remaja dalam menghadapi kehidupannya setelah diberi pelatihan wirausaha kerajinan tangan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Kreativitas merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas metode Six Thinking Hats dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen non-equivalent group pretest-posttest. Kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 15 siswa dan kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 60,93 (standar deviasi 3,15) meningkat menjadi 74,60 (standar deviasi 8,34) pada post-test. Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank menghasilkan nilai Z sebesar -3,411 dengan p-value 0,001, dan Uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan p-value 0,000, mengonfirmasi peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode tersebut dapat diintegrasikan dalam praktik pendidikan untuk mendorong pengembangan berpikir kreatif siswa. Dengan menerapkan strategi ini, siswa dapat diajak mengeksplorasi berbagai perspektif dalam pemecahan masalah, berinovasi, dan menghasilkan ide-ide baru yang bermanfaat dalam konteks pembelajaran maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. A quasi-experimental non-equivalent group pretest-posttest design was employed, involving an experimental group of 15 students and a control group of 36 students. The findings revealed an increase in the experimental group’s average pre-test score of 60.93 (standard deviation 3.15) to a post-test score of 74.60 (standard deviation 8.34). The Wilcoxon Signed Rank test yielded a Z-value of -3.411 with a p-value of 0.001, and the Mann-Whitney test showed a p-value of 0.000, confirming a significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the Six Thinking Hats method can be integrated into educational practices to foster creative thinking. By applying this strategy, students can explore diverse perspectives, innovate, and generate new ideas valuable for both learning and daily life. Abstract

Among the various developmental tasks traversed by individuals, old age is a difficult time. In general, the elderly have problems in terms of adjustment, this is due to a variety of changes both physical and psychological accompanying age, but it is also caused by various changes in the status that arose in those days. The three changes of regression experienced by the elderly are physical, mental and social changes. This change will result in the ability to control itself. Dhikr as one form of therapy in Islam is considered capable of affecting self-control in the elderly. Based on these findings, it is recommended for the general public to pay attention to the elderly as they are vulnerable to experiencing periods of regression in their lives. One of the efforts that needs to be done is by giving the opportunity to do dzikr. Diantara berbagai tugas perkembangan yang dilalui oleh individu, masa usia lanjut merupakan masa yang sulit. Pada umumnya para usia lanjut mempunyai masalah dalam hal penyesuaian diri, hal ini disebabkan adanya berbagai perubahan baik fisik maupun psikis yang menyertai pertambahan usia, selain itu juga diakibatkan oleh berbagai perubahan dalam status yang timbul pada masa itu. Tiga perubahan regresi yang dialami oleh manula adalah adanya perubahan fisik, mental dan sosial. Perubahan ini akan berakibat pada kemampuan untuk mengontrol dirinya sendiri. Dzikir sebagai salah satu bentuk terapi dalam islam dianggap mampu berpengaruh pada kontrol diri pada manula. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan bagi masyarakat umum untuk memperhatikan kaum lanjut usia karena rentan mengalamai masa regresi dalam hidupnya. Salah satu upaya yang perlu dilakukan yaitu dengan memberikan kesempatan untuk berzikir.
