This research used experimental approach which aims to test effectiveness of synectics in developing creative thinking using variables of creative attitude as covariance. The subjects were 48 students of seventh grade of MTs Surya Buana who was divided evenly into experiment and control group. The data was gained through a test of creative thinking and creative attitude scale. Results indicated that synectics proved effective in developing creative thinking. Keywords: synectics, creative thinking, creative attitude

Teachers, parents, and students have had difficulty with character development exercises in online learning programs. Students’ character quality has suffered as a result of these issues. This study described the essence of reading fondness, learning discipline, and social care in developing the students’ character development. In addition, this study also aimed to analyze the role of teachers and parents in character development during the online learning process. Students, teachers, and parents provided information via online questionnaires and interviews. Descriptive quantitative analysis, thematic analysis, and reflective thinking were used to analyze the data. The findings revealed that teachers and parents faced challenges that impacted student character quality. Teachers and parents have limited opportunities to shape a students’ character. Instead, they must collaborate to develop it. The limitation of this study lies in the online data collection process, thus suggesting the need to use a more in-depth method to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the case.

Education has an important role in developing the value of religious tolerance in students. Learning in the classroom has a strategic role in developing it. This research aims to determine the influence of the learning process in the classroom on students’ religious tolerance. The research subjects were 210 students who were randomly selected from two junior high schools in the city of Malang, East Java. Data was collected through a class activity scale and a religious tolerance scale. Analysis was carried out using simple regression techniques. The results of the analysis of the influence of class activities on students’ religious tolerance character, there are six classroom activity indicator factors, namely: classroom rules, student support, student involvement, positive learning, teacher support, class management. Of these six indicators, the most influence on students’ religious tolerance character. is the rule in the class with the regression results getting a significance value (0.13<0.05). The results of this research have the implication that classroom rules can influence students’ religious tolerance by 59%.

Pengembangan kepedulian sosial siswa penting dalam ranah pendidikan melalui berbagai kegiatan kelas dan lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan, yaitu mendeskripsikan permasalahan pengembangan karakter peduli sosial, strategi guru dalam mengembangkan karakter peduli sosial, dan dampak penerapan strategi guru terhadap karakter peduli sosial siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Data kuantitatif karakter peduli sosial diperoleh dari 220 siswa SMP di Malang, Jawa Timur. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lima guru yang dipilih secara purposif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan dalam pengembangan karakter peduli sosial yang berasal dari siswa adalah kurangnya kesadaran dalam diri mereka tentang karakter peduli sosial. Strategi guru untuk mengembangkan karakter peduli sosial adalah pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa pengembangan karakter peduli sosial siswa dapat dilakukan melalui proses pembiasaan di dalam kelas dan dengan memberikan keteladanan dari guru. Penelitian dengan pendekatan metode campuran dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif untuk menyempurnakan penelitian ini.

Understanding the creative personality of students has significant implications for their future success and well-being. The purpose of this study was to describe the development of the Creative Personality Scale in secondary school students. Data were collected from 275 students in junior and senior high schools. The research process was carried out in five stages in order to obtain a measure of creative personality that meets the requirements of validity and reliability. The data were analyzed through content validity and construct validity tests. The results of the validity test of the creative personality scale showed two important findings. First, the results of the content validity test found 24 valid items with an alpha Cronbach value of .898. Secondly, the results of the construct validity test showed that not all the modeling criteria could be met. The implications of the findings are that the development of the Creative Personality Scale can make a significant contribution to the field of creativity research and provide a valuable tool for researchers, educators ,and practitioners to better understand and promote creativity in secondary school students. Pemahaman terhadap kepribadian kreatif pada siswa memiliki implikasi yang signifikan terhadap kesuksesan dan kesejahteraan mereka di masa depan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan Skala Kepribadian Kreatif pada siswa sekolah menengah. Pengujian data dilakukan pada 275 siswa di sekolah menengah pertama dan menengah atas. Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui lima tahapan untuk mendapatkan alat ukur kepribadian kreatif yang memenuhi syarat validitas dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisis melalui pengujian validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Hasil uji validitas skala kepribadian kreatif menunjukkan adanya dua temuan penting. Pertama, hasil pengujian validitas isi menemukan adanya 24 item valid, dengan nilai Alpha Cronbach .898. Kedua, hasil pengujian validitas konstruk menemukan tidak semua kriteria pemodelan dapat terpenuhi. Implikasi temuan menyatakan bahwa pengembangan skala kepribadian kreatif dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap bidang penelitian kreativitas dan menyediakan alat yang berharga bagi para peneliti, pendidik, dan praktisi untuk lebih memahami dan menumbuhkan kreativitas pada siswa di sekolah menengah.

Students’ well-being is a fundamental goal in education. The school has a strategic role in developing students’ well-being. This study elaborates on teachers’ classroom activities to develop students’ well-being. The research employed a mixed-method sequential explanatory approach. There were 1,100 students from 11 junior high schools in East Java Province, Indonesia, provided quantitative data. Four teachers provided qualitative data. Descriptive and regression analysis techniques were used for analyzing quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used for analyzing qualitative data. The results show that the hypothesis is accepted. It means that classroom climate affects students’ well-being. The findings also showed four teacher strategies for developing students’ well-being, namely: creating harmonious relationships with students, developing student potential, helping students with difficulties, and creating rules to make students comfortable being in school. The ability of teachers to manage learning in the classroom affects the high level of students’ well-being. The results have implications for the development of students’ well-being through positive teachers teaching.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap religiusitas siswa di SMA Islam Al Ma’arif Singosari Malang dengan jumlah responden 201 orang dari seluruh tingkat kelas, dengan mengumpulkan data Skala Likert, dan teknis analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap religiusitas siswa berdasarkan hasil uji regresi simultan dan uji regresi parsial pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap religiusitas siswa. Uji regresi simultan memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti variabel iklim sekolah berpengaruh terhadap religiusitas siswa. Ada lima dimensi iklim sekolah yaitu hubungan siswa, hubungan siswa dengan guru, iklim pendidikan, rasa memiliki, dan keadilan antarpribadi. Setelah dilakukan uji regresi parsial ditemukan bahwa iklim pendidikan sangat mempengaruhi religiusitas peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai uji regresi parsial dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,01 dimana nilai tersebut < 0,05.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas kelas memiliki perngaruh terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa. Metode Penelitian digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hasil normalitas nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 berarti yang dapat disimpulkan data tersebut berdistribusi normal serta hasil daripada linearisasi nilai signifikansi menunjukkan 0,075 Maka dapat disampaikan data tersebut linear. Pada pengujian terhadap Hipotesis berupa uji regresi simultan dan uji regresi parsial terdapat hasil yang menyatakan pengaruh aktifitas kelas terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa. Pada uji regresi parsial ini terdapat enam indikator berupa 1) peraturan kelas, 2) dukungan siswa, 3) keterlibatan siswa, 4) pembelajaran positif, 5) peranan guru dan, 6) manajemen kelas. Berdasarkan uji regresi simultan dan uji regresi parsial terdapat hasil yang menyatakan adanya pengaruh aktifitas kelas terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa. Pada uji regresi parsial dari enam indikator dengan hasil pembelajaran positif merupakan pengaruh sebesar 16,5% Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran positif merupakan pengaruh yang dominan terhadap kepedulian sosial siswa.

Creative thinking is an essential skill to be developed in college students. The importance of these skills is not in line with the existing student creativity in higher education. Several studies on students show low levels of these skills. A creative personality is a factor that influences these skills. This study aims to test the influence of creative personality on creative thinking skills. The research uses a quantitative approach with associative design. The research subjects were 90 (ninety) students who were randomly selected by considering the proportion of three state universities in East Java. Data were obtained by measuring creative personality and creative thinking skills through the creative personality scale and creative thinking test. The data were analyzed through regression analysis techniques. Testing is performed simultaneously and partially. The results show that a creative personality affects creative thinking skills. Perseverance is the most dominant factor in influencing students' creative thinking skills. The results of this study imply that the development of students’ creative thinking should be in line with the development of their creative personality.

Cultivating religiosity among students in schools is a crucial initiative that should be implemented. The research aims to evaluate the impact of school climate on students' development of religiosity. The research methodology used mixed-method explanatory models to evaluate theories on school climate's influence on religiosity and explore teachers' strategies to develop students' religiosity within schools. Quantitative data was collected from 482 students at junior and senior schools, and qualitative data was gathered from six randomly selected teachers. Quantitative data was collected using school climate and religiosity scales. Descriptive and regression analyses were used to analyze the quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used for the qualitative data. The regression analysis results showed a value of R = 0.338, R2 = 0.114, p 0.005, indicating a positive impact of school climate on students' religiosity. Teachers employ six approaches to achieve this goal: habituation, guidance, leading by example, attention to individual students' needs, creating a positive atmosphere, and providing educational sanctions. These results highlight the importance of improving teachers' expertise in promoting student religiosity. Experimental research could be an effective alternative for further advancing this type of study.
