Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which teacher qualifications, infrastructure and technology affect student learning achievement. This research used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to draft the literature review. Data was obtained from articles published within 6 years (2019-2024) collected from ScienceDirect and Google Scholar using the keywords “Teacher Qualification”, “School Infrastructure”, “School Facilities”, “Technology”, “Student Achievement”. The findings indicate that these three factors consistently play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of student learning outcomes. Teacher qualifications are correlated with improved student understanding and academic performance. Adequate educational infrastructure contributes to the creation of a supportive learning environment that fosters active student engagement. Meanwhile, the integration of technology into learning has been shown to enrich the learning experience and facilitate content comprehension. These findings underscore the significance of all three aspects in shaping a sustainable and responsive education system in the face of 21st century challenges.

Abstract

This research examines trends in published works on school cultural openness and teacher communication skills, specifically how they contribute to enhancing school effectiveness when parents are actively involved. We aimed to chart citation patterns within Scopus and Google Scholar, identifying both key research themes and fresh insights through bibliometric data. Starting with 2086 initial records, we carefully selected 124 articles directly relevant to our inquiry. To achieve our research goals, we conducted a descriptive analysis of publication and citation trends from 2015 to 2025 using Excel, and also performed a citation analysis to identify the most influential authors. Additionally, a VOSviewer-based keyword co-occurrence analysis helped us visualise topic clusters and their relationships, revealing dominant themes and the direction research is moving. The results demonstrate a strong link between a school's open culture, teachers' communication skills, and improved school dynamics, particularly with active parent involvement. This makes a significant theoretical contribution to Education, underscoring the importance of prioritising inclusive, culturally responsive communication and structured parent engagement in school policies and programs. Our research also points out that the integrated connection between school cultural openness and teacher communication in enhancing school effectiveness through parent involvement is rarely discussed comprehensively. Therefore, we propose parental involvement as a moderating variable that can strengthen this relationship. It also opens avenues for future research that are more integrative and consider various contexts, aiming to create learning environments that are both inclusive and competitive.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan, (1) langkah sistem penjaminan mutu internal sekolah, (2) strategi implementasi penjaminan mutu internal sekolah, dan (3) dampak implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu internal sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang dengan melibatkan Kepala Sekolah sebagai key informan dan informan tambahan yakni guru. Penelitian ini dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini yakni, (1) langkah penjaminan mutu internal sekolah melaui SPMI dalam penjaminan mutu internal sekolah melalui langkah Plan, Do, Check, dan Act. (2) strategi sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah yang unggul secara internal dilakukan upaya berupa, pengembangan silabus, penentuan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), penentuan Standar Kelulusan (SKL), Supervisi Pembelajaran, serta evaluasi pembelajaran, dan (3) dampak implementasi penjaminan mutu internal yang dilaksanakan SD Plus Al-Kautsar Kota Malang yakni, prestasi sekolah telah diraih baik yang berskala nasional maupun internasional serta citra sekolah yang meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the essence of instructional leadership in change management in educational institutions and (2) the change process in an elementary school during the unfreezing, movement, and refreezing stages to enhance the teaching capabilities of a teacher at SD Negeri Wonokerto 04. The research method used is qualitative, using a phenomenological approach with a case study design at SD Negeri Wonokerto 04, Malang Regency. The data were collected using three techniques: in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentary study. The analysis technique used is single-case analysis. To ensure data validity, the researcher performed triangulation, member checking, prolonged observation, and reference material adequacy activities. The results of this study indicate that instructional leadership plays a role as a controller in the change process. The micro-educational institution's change process in enhancing the teaching capabilities of teachers follows Kurt Lewin's change model, which consists of three phases: a) the unfreezing process using symposiums and "Kultin" (Routine Spiritual Sessions); b) the movement process using a workshop and the formation of an assistant team consisting of fresh graduate teachers; and c) the refreezing process carried out through collaborative workshops with SD Negeri Wonokerto 01 and the initiation of meta-learning.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan tentang: (1) esensi instructional leadership dalam manajemen perubahan pada lembaga pendidikan; (2) proses perubahan sebuah SD saat proses unfreezing, movement dan refreezing dalam peningkatan kapabilitas mengajar seorang guru SDN Wonokerto 04. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologi dengan rancangan studi kasus di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Wonokerto 04, Kabupaten Malang. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan 3 teknik, yaitu: wawancara mendalam, observasi peran serta, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis kasus tunggal. Untuk memperoleh keabsahaan data, peneliti melakukan kegiatan triangulasi, pengecekan anggota, ketekunan pengamatan, dan kecukupan bahan referensi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah instructional leadership mengambil peran sebagai pengendali proses perubahan dan proses perubahan sebuah lembaga mikro pendidikan dalam peningkatan kapabilitas mengajar guru yang mengacu pada teori perubahan model Kurt Lewin yang terdiri dari tiga fase, yaitu a) proses unfreezing menggunakan simposium dan Kultin (Kultum Rutin); b) proses movement menggunakan sebuah workshop dan pembentukan tim pembantu dari guru fresh graduate; dan c) proses refreezing dilaksanakan dengan workshop kolaborasi bersama SD Negeri Wonokerto 01 dan inisiasi meta learning

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) the principal's strategy in developing an innovative culture that is integrated with the school's vision and mission; (2) integration of SWOT and TOWS analysis in building an innovative culture in the school environment; and (3) the principal's strategic plan in implementing visionary leadership to strengthen an innovative culture that is integrated into the school's vision and mission. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and document study. The research results show that: (1) the school develops an innovative culture that is integrated with the vision and mission through SWOT and TOWS analysis, by utilizing religious-based strengths and increasing the variety of learning methods that are more participatory; (2) the integration of SWOT and TOWS analysis allows schools to formulate effective strategies to build an innovative culture by exploiting strengths and opportunities, overcoming weaknesses, and facing threats in an effort to improve the quality of education and school reputation; and (3) the school principal's strategic plan for the next five years is prepared based on SWOT and TOWS analysis which aims to improve the quality of education and build an innovative culture through an integrated approach and visionary leadership, by integrating the components of the school management team to achieve the school's vision of producing qualified graduates. excellence, character, and ready to face the challenges of the world of work and social life.

Abstract

Indonesia's multicultural landscape poses both opportunities and challenges for vocational education, particularly in preparing tourism students to develop intercultural sensitivity while sustaining local cultural identity. This study explores the role of integrating Sasak local wisdom into the management of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) to strengthen student intercultural competence in West Lombok. Using a mixed-methods approach, qualitative case studies were conducted at SMKN 1 Batulayar and SMKN 1 Lingsar, including interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that students generally demonstrated moderate to high levels of intercultural sensitivity, with notable variations across dimensions. Students at SMKN 1 Lingsar showed stronger engagement in cross-cultural interactions, whereas those at SMKN 1 Batulayar exhibited a higher level of self-confidence. Qualitative findings further reveal that effective lesson planning, inter-teacher collaboration, contextual learning practices, and active community involvement play a crucial role in embedding local cultural values within IRE. This study concludes that integrating local wisdom and religious education contributes to the development of an inclusive character. It fosters tolerance and enhances students' readiness to navigate a multicultural tourism environment. From a theoretical perspective, this research advances the discourse on intercultural education by proposing a dual-path intercultural sensitivity model encompassing collaborative and experiential pathways as a novel framework for strengthening cultural responsiveness in vocational schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen strategis komunitas belajar dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui Program Penguatan Learning Community pada dua komunitas yang terstruktur melalui Ruang GTK, yaitu Komunitas Belajar PIJAR Propinsi Jawa Timur dan Komunitas Belajar Bergerak Bersama Guru Hebat Nusantara Propinsi Daerah Khusus Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif multi situs dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi kegiatan komunitas, serta analisis dokumen digital. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga tema utama. Pertama, strategi penguatan struktur dan budaya komunitas belajar yang ditopang oleh pertemuan rutin, kolaborasi digital, serta mekanisme berbagi praktik baik yang terstandardisasi, berdampak pada meningkatnya refleksi kompetensi dan jejaring pembelajaran antaranggota. Kedua, strategi peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui coaching, mentoring, microlearning, dan lesson study digital yang mendorong tumbuhnya kompetensi pedagogik, teknologis, dan kolaboratif secara berkelanjutan. Ketiga, optimalisasi peran Ruang GTK sebagai ekosistem penghubung dan pemberdaya komunitas belajar, memungkinkan koordinasi lintas wilayah, pengarsipan praktik baik, serta penyediaan ruang pembelajaran adaptif berbasis kebutuhan guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen strategis komunitas belajar yang terencana, terstruktur, dan memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran secara efektif mampu menghasilkan peningkatan kompetensi guru yang berkelanjutan serta memperkuat budaya belajar guru di tingkat Nasional.

Abstract: Development of many student attendance applications that have been carried out has not received special attention to measuring product quality during development. Application development requires consideration as an effort to meet user needs. Achievement in meeting user needs can be done by measuring product quality such as functional suitability, reliability, performance efficiency, usability, security, maintainability, portability, compatibility through these measurements can provide quality to the application developed. This research aims to integrate ISO 25010 measurements in creating a conceptual model of a quality student attendance management application. This research uses a qualitative approach of the systematic literature review type, adapting the Okoli guide model with steps (1) Determine research questions, (2) Identify relevant search terms, (3) develop a search plan, (4) test the search, (5) select a database and run a search, (6) document and manage search results. The results show that the student attendance management application model consists of several features and contains product quality measurements, features obtained through pattern matching patterns to select popular and essential features with product quality that meets the ISO 25010 product quality model. The model is still conceptual and needs to be followed up with empirical studies and technical development of student attendance management applications. Pengembangan aplikasi memerlukan pertimbangan sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Pencapaian dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dapat dilakukan dengan mengukur kualitas produk seperti kesesuaian fungsional, keandalan, efisiensi kinerja, kegunaan, keamanan, pemeliharaan, portabilitas, dan kompatibilitas. Melalui pengukuran ini, dapat memberikan kualitas pada aplikasi yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model aplikasi manajemen absensi siswa terdiri dari beberapa fitur dan mengandung pengukuran kualitas produk, fitur yang diperoleh melalui pola pencocokan pola untuk memilih fitur yang populer dan esensial dengan kualitas produk yang memenuhi model kualitas produk ISO 25010. Model ini masih bersifat konseptual dan perlu dilanjutkan dengan studi empiris dan pengembangan teknis aplikasi manajemen absensi siswa.
