Abstract

The purpose of this study is to thoroughly analyze the implementation of synchronous and asynchronous online learning in two elementary schools in Jember. The two schools are, Tiga Bahasa Rukun Harapan Elementary School, and Al Baitul Amien 01 Elementary School. This study used a qualitative multi-site study method. The data collected relates to planning online learning, implementing online learning, and evaluating the implementation of online learning. The data analysis technique begins with single-site data analysis followed by cross-site data analysis. The single site analysis procedure was carried out with the Miles & Huberman analysis model. The cross-site analysis procedure was carried out using an analytic induction model looking for the final cross-site findings. The results of the study show that in online learning planning, educators need to consider online learning principles that are easy for all students and teachers to follow as a first step in planning effective online learning. At the stage of implementing online learning, the important thing for the teacher to do is to organize the platform according to the type of online learning into a digital class that ideally approaches real learning conditions. In the evaluation of learning the teacher again ensures the ease of communicating with students, the suitability of the platform for the type of learning, the ease of accessing material, ensuring the level of authenticity of student answers, and the teacher can collaborate with parents to control student learning activities.

Abstract

This study investigates the outcomes of work-related stress resulting from a blend of WFC and increased workload amid the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in teleworking. The study employed a SLR as a means of data exploration, incorporating literature bibliometrics for data processing and subsequently subjecting the data to analysis through the VOSviewer program. The investigator examined citations from the Scopus database, evaluating 334 articles, among which 62 were published from 2020 to 2022. The VOSviewer program was leveraged to evaluate co-authorship, co-accuracy, and citations, promoting a more nuanced understanding of the results. This review furnishes a focused bibliographic viewpoint for prospective researchers, assisting them in navigating the evolving dynamics of work-family conflicts, particularly accentuated among individuals managing multiple roles or shouldering caregiving responsibilities during the pandemic. The study underscores the merits and challenges of teleworking, highlighting the intricacies of establishing boundaries between work and caregiving roles. Neglecting these boundaries may precipitate job stress for remote workers. In essence, this research illuminates the characteristics of pertinent articles and the ramifications of teleworking, WFC and Excessive workload on work stress during the pandemic. It advocates for further investigation to deepen comprehension of the intricate interplay between these factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work-life balance and Reward System on Turnover Intention and analyze the mediating role of Employee Engagement. This research is quantitative. The type of data used is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The respondents of this study were millennial and Gen Z employees who worked for digital startup companies in Malang totaling 125 people. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis and PLS analysis with the help of the SmartPLS version 4 application. The results of the analysis showed that the effect of WLB, reward system, and employee engagement on turnover intention is significantly negative; and then the effect of WLB, reward system on employee engagement is significantly positive. Variable WLB and Variable reward systems have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention through employee engagement. The assumption that there is a relationship between the four variables in theoretical construction, illustrates a relationship that can explain and describe the practical application and implications for the novelty of human resource management theory in the digital and creative industries. The contribution of these findings may help management implement policies and programs that support a balanced work-life balance to improve employee well-being and productivity and decrease turnover intention.
