Abstract

This study discusses how faith-based private universities run strategies to build organizational culture to gain excellence in the era of market liberalization. Private universities are considered institutions that are vulnerable to the influence of changes in the constellation of society and government regulations. On the other hand, religion-based private universities are still able to survive and contribute to educating the nation's children. This study intends to explore information about strategies to build organizational culture in private universities that support the competitiveness of institutions. Religion-based private universities include those who are able to survive in competition, how they determine the strategy of building the organizational culture of the institution. The main focus of research on leader strategies builds organizational culture to achieve competitive advantage, using a qualitative descriptive research approach with a multicasus study design. The research data are in the form of speech, deeds, attitudes of the leaders and residents of the two faith-based private college campuses in East Java. Data collection through observation, active participation observation and interviews.The results of the study found that religion-based private universities tried to balance the development of external pressure on the achievement of compliance with standard standards, there were weaknesses in innovative capabilities and speed responsive to external pressure. The strategy of university leaders in building organizational culture in two institutions rests on the recruitment process that is strict enough to maintain the religious foundation of the institution's operations. Higher education also relies on the existence of a relatively fixed market segment to seize interested parties and maintain their existence.

Abstract

Beton porous merupakan campuran antara semen, air, agregat kasar, dan sedikit atau tanpa agregat halus yang membentuk beton tembus air. Penambahan Sikament LN yang merupakan bahan tambah yang bersifat superplasticizer bertujuan untuk memberikan workability yang baik, sedangkan penggunaan jenis agregat Palu dan agregat Batu Besaung untuk mengetahui pengaruh agregat terhadap beton porous. Penambahan Sikament LN pada penelitian ini adalah sebesar 0%; 0,5%; 0,8%; dan 1,1% terhadap massa semen untuk masing-masing agregat. Pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap benda uji adalah uji Kuat Tekan dan uji Laju Infiltrasi. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut, didapatkan bahwa penambahan Sikament LN pada kadar 0,8% memberikan kuat tekan tertinggi baik untuk agregat Palu maupun agregat Batu Besaung yang nilainya berturut-turut 24,26 MPa dan 22,69 MPa, sedangkan laju infiltrasi memberikan hasil tertinggi pada penambahan sikament LN 0% untuk agregat Palu maupun agregat Batu Besaung yang nilainya berturut-turut 131,73 mm/min dan 135,56 mm/min.

Abstract

This study aims to explore moral education through the book adabul alim wal muta'alim written by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and the ethics of the teaching profession, so that from an understanding of moral education and professional ethics, teachers can vary and look perfect. The research approach used is library research, the data obtained from a literature review with a factual historical approach. The results of the study found that in the moral education written by KH.Hasyim Asy'ari and the professional ethics of the teacher, it contained moral values, personal character of a teacher, teacher's morals to students, and teacher's morals in teaching. Where both of them have the same meeting point and meaning even though the discussion is different.

Abstract

The objectives achieved in this research are: 1). To find out and describe what exemplary values ​​are contained in the film Ajari Aku Islam, 2). To find out and explain the relevance of exemplary values ​​in the film Ajari Aku Islam to Islamic religious education materials. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research content analysis with research subjects showing a film with the title Ajari Aku Islam in the form of scenes containing exemplary values ​​and other sources related to the research objectives, while the analytical technique used is Barthes' semiotics model. . Based on the research that has been done, there are several research results, namely exemplary values ​​such as husnudzan, helping, praying on time, tolerance, loving the Qur'an, sincere, istiqamah, patient, brave, and steadfast.

Abstract

Ahmad Dahlan's concept in developing a school in which general science and religious knowledge are taught at the Muhammadiyah School aims to form intellectual scholars by dissolving social class barriers applied by the Dutch education system which is counter-egalitarian in the world of education which causes differences in school graduates. resulting from each of these educations. Ahmad Dahlan's struggle in helping to change the fate of indigenous peoples embraced the common people by providing free schools in which there was general knowledge and religious knowledge aimed at changing their social status for the better. In order for the ideas implemented by Ahmad Dahlan to remain sustainable, the Muhammadiyah organization was formed as a conduit for his concept of thought. The concept of educational thought and business charity founded by Ahmad Dahlan continues and is growing, managed and continued by Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah schools are not only spread throughout Indonesia but also abroad until now.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kohesivitas guru di sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulam data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru sekolah di SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adanya solidaritas guru dalam lingkungan masyarakat pedesaan. Yang dinilai dari kohesivitas para guru di sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan yakni memiliki prinsip dalam melaksanakan sebuah pekerjaan. Meskipun dengan kehidupan yang tidak konsumtif dengan adanya prinsip tersebut menjadi satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dan dapat memperkuat kohesivitas serta menjadi contoh baik terhadap anggota sekolah khususnya bagi para siswa. Berbagai produktivitas yang dijalani dalam kehidupan sehari hari yang menciptakan ikatan persaudaraan dengan sesama. Adapun faktor pendukungnya adalah lingkungan kerja sekolah yang nyaman.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter harus menjadi pusat perhatian di dunia pendidikan, karena sejatinya karakter baik tidak dapat muncul begitu saja. pendidikan karakter isebagai suatu cara yang berlangsung sepanjang hayat dalam membentuk kebiasaan baik atas sikap dan perilaku pada generasi bangsa. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan istudi kepustakaan. Kemudian teknik yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data melalui beberapa sumber seperti jurnal, artikel, skripsi, tesis, dan informasi lainnya yang relevan dengan artikel ini. Studi kepustakaan diartikan sebagai metode penulisan dari hasil pencarian teori tentunya yang relevan. Tahapan studi kepustakaan artikel ini yaitu memilih data, menyederhanakan data yang diperoleh, penjabaran data, dan penarikan kesimpulan data- data yang diteliti. Data yang digunakan adalah idata primer berupa jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh program pendidikan karakter terhadap kepribadian isiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi program pendidikan karakter memiliki dampak positif dalam membentuk etika dan kepribadian positif pada siswa. Strategi dan metode yang digunakan idalam program ini secara signifikan mempengaruhi perubahan perilaku siswa, terutama dalam aspek integritas, empati, dan kedisiplinan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan subjects at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo High School. This type of research is qualitative, with a case study approach carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The research data is in the form of teaching modules for Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan subjects. Sources of data were obtained from teachers, students, and vice curricula. Observation, interviews, and documentation carry out data collection techniques. Data analysis was done by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Implementing the independent curriculum in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan subjects differs from the 2013 curriculum in planning, implementing, and assessing learning activities. As in the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan learning plan, which uses teaching modules, Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan lesson hours are set annually so that the time allocation for reaching them is flexible. In implementing the lesson, apply diagnostic assessment, differentiation approach, and strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. As well as in the learning assessment, which focuses on formative assessment. The implementation of the independent curriculum in the subject of al-Islam and Muhammadiyah is by the provisions of the independent learning curriculum. However, the success of an education system concept depends on the teacher's application in his learning, and the success of implementing the independent curriculum in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan subjects also requires support from children as active learners.

Abstract

This research will develop teaching materials for aqidah from the perspective of the "Progressive Islam" concept initiated by Muhammadiyah. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation) model to develop teaching materials aqidah from a progressive Islamic perspective for junior high school students. The population in this study were class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. Qualitative data is obtained through observation, written responses, and suggestions, while quantitative data is obtained from tests. The research results showed that the validity of the aqidah was 86.36%, material expert 84.25%, and Islamic religious education 84.42% in the valid category. For effectiveness, data sources were obtained from student learning outcomes before and after using progressive Islamic teaching materials. The pre-test results obtained an average of 77.65, and during the post-test, it increased to 80.7. The results of this research and development suggest that the use of progressive Islamic teaching materials in teaching aqidah class VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Sidoarjo is appropriate.
