Abstract

The research background is the rapid development of makeup and beauty industry in the social media era that is highly competitive. The study aims to explore the industry's development and its characters, the specialized entrepreneurial strategies, and the influence of social media on this industry. The methodology employed in this research is a semi-systematic literature review. The analytical approach utilized incorporates a meta-narrative framework, encompassing stages such as identifying, analyzing, and identifying patterns and themes related to the topic. The results describe that the characters of makeup and beauty industry includes highly competitive, ever-changing trends, consumer-centric, seasonal and limited-edition products, diverse product range. Furthermore, the role of social media and specialized entrepreneurial strategies related to the influencer collaborations, community building, personalized beauty, virtual beauty consultations, user-generated content, social commerce, online beauty classes, virtual events and live streams. Finally, the challenges of social media on entrepreneurial strategies associated with the policy and algorithm changes, negative feedback and criticism, data privacy and security.

Abstract

Proses pelaksanaan perkuliahan Pengelolaan Pendidikan dan Kepemimpinan media yang digunakan masih memanfaatkan media ppt, pemutaran contoh kasis melalui video dan referensi yang beragam terkait materi perkuliahan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meengembangkan sebuah media yang bisa digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yaitu berupa e-book mata kuliah Pengelolaan Pendidikan dan Kepemimpinan yang dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Professional yang nantinya dapat diakses dengan menggunakan android. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan metode RnD dengan model 4-D yang meliputi kegiatan: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Media yang dikembangkan tentunya harus dinyatakan valid dan praktis dengan menggunakan instrumen kuisioner dalam proses pengumpulan data dengan cara memberikan beberapa pernyataan kepada responden yakni ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi dalam hal ini mahasiswa. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan nilai 89,5% dengan kategori valid dan uji praktikalitas kepada pengguna, diperoleh nilai 83,5% dengan kategori praktis. Informasi yang disampaikan menunjukkan bahwa media e-book berbasis Android sudah tepat dan cukup bermanfaat untuk dimanfaatkan dalam perkuliahan bagi mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah manajemen pendidikan dan kepemimpinan.

Abstract

The online shopping trend on Shopee and other e-commerce platforms continues to develop and has controversy and occurs from time to time. Some sellers on Shopee have been involved in fraud, such as sending fake products or not sending products at all. This can harm buyers and damage Shopee's reputation. This research aims to analyze the influence of trends in the use of e-commerce (Shopee) on the purchasing decisions of culinary students at Unimed. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 93 culinary students from the class of 2023. The data analysis techniques used are the t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The results of the test analysis show a sig value of 0.000, which means that there is an influence from the e-commerce usage variable (X) on the purchasing decision variable (Y). The strength of influence of the e-commerce usage variable influences the purchasing decision variable by 46%. Meanwhile, the remaining 0.540 or 54% is influenced by other variables studied.

Abstract

Pemahaman mahasiswa yang kurang terhadap materi, Buku teks yang tidak memadai, serta bahasa buku yang tidak komunikatif sebagai faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan E-modul berbasis Project Based Learning. erintegrasi Information and Computer Technology/ICT yang efektif. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah Model Plomp yaitu preliminary research, prototyping phase dan assessment phase. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang. Subjek penelitian diambil secara Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk essay yang terdiri dari soal pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik análisis dari hasil belajar tentang keefektifan E-modul menggunakan uji t tipe dua arah. Hasil analisis tes menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test yang diperoleh mahasiswa lebih baik daripada rata-rata nilai pre-test yang diperolehnya. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan E-modul berbasis Project Based Learning terintegrasi ICT efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Manajemen event sehingga efektif digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran. Diharapkan E-modul ini dapat dijadikan salah satu sumber belajar yang mampu mengembangkan potensi kemampuan mahasiswa dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Strategies used by startups to support young people in the business world, in the digital era and the ever-evolving global economy, business ethics have become more important than ever before. The high unemployment rate and the difficulty of finding a job are expected to be resolved by utilizing startup technology. Startups are the right place for the younger generation to develop and utilize the entrepreneurial spirit, with innovative, risky, and fast-moving characteristics. Various strategies can be used by startups to inspire and encourage young people to take calculated risks, be innovative and create their own business opportunities. Some successful startups that have inspired and prepared young people to become business owners. Through this analysis, the purpose of this article is to show how the younger generation can utilize the opportunities presented by startups to develop their own businesses, using qualitative descriptive methods creating a positive economic impact and bringing steady long-term change in the business world

Abstract

This study originated from the lack of enthusiasm of students following the learning of milling machining in the classroom, because of the many distractions that make it difficult for students to concentrate. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in students' learning concentration in the subject of milling machining techniques of vocational high school students when they are taught with whiteboard animation media and textbooks. This research design is a quasi-experiment with post-test only. Based on the researcher's consideration and initial interviews, the subjects of this study were formulated as two classes. The number of students for the experimental class XI TPM 1 (15 people) and the conventional class XI TPM 2 (15 people). The experimental class XI TPM 1 was given whiteboard animation learning media, while the conventional class XI TPM 2 was given conventional learning. To analyze the research data, t-test technique was used. The results of the t-test analysis showed that, compared to the conventional learning method, students learned milling machining techniques with higher concentration.

Abstract

D3 Culinary Arts Study Program students are targeted to become graduates who are able to have an entrepreneurial spirit. Basically, building a business requires high motivation to be able to compete with other entrepreneurs. This research aims to see the influence of motivation and entrepreneurship education on students' readiness for entrepreneurship in the Catering Business Management course after completing their studies. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with correlation studies. The correlation analysis technique in this research uses the product-moment correlation statistical test using interval data with certain conditions. The coefficients table shows that the significance value of the motivation variable (X1) does not have a significant effect on variable Y (student readiness), namely 0.085 > 0.05. Meanwhile, variable X2 (entrepreneurship education) has a significant effect on variable Y (student readiness), namely 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that with entrepreneurship education, students are ready to become entrepreneurs by having knowledge of business production management, knowing procedures, understanding how to produce businesses, and how to develop ideas.

Abstract

Berkembangnya cara manusia mendapatkan informasi menyebabkan pola berbisnis manusia juga mengalami perubahan. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan bukti empiris tentang tingkat kompetensi kewirausahaan digital yang diperoleh mahasiswa program studi vokasi tata busana setelah mengikuti perkuliahan kewirausahaan. Penetapan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 171 orang. Analisis data menggunakan correlation product moment parsial untuk mencari hubungan antar variabel. Sedangkan untuk membuktikan pengaruh digunakan Uji F dengan tujuan untuk mencari angka regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi wirausaha digital pada kategori rendah (58%). Minat berwirausaha kategori sangat tinggi (96%). Kurikulum pembelajaran kewirausahaan kategori sangat rendah (53%). Hasil uji signifikansi hubungan menunjukkan terdapat hubungan minat berwirausaha dengan kompetensi wirausaha digital mahasiswa, serta terdapat hubungan kurikulum pembelajaran kewirausahaan dengan kompetensi wirausaha digital mahasiswa. Hasil uji signifikansi pengaruh menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh minat berwirausaha dan kurikulum pembelajaran kewirausahaan terhadap kompetensi wirausaha digital mahasiswa Program Studi Vokasi Tata Busana Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Kemajuan pembelajaran terlihat pada perolehan nilai keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswanya. Namun praktiknya, pembelajaran yang berlangsung kurang optimal. Metode pembelajaran biasanya berpusat pada guru dan monoton. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw berbasis problem based learning untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Penelitian berjenis classroom action research. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas X TPM berjumlah 22 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan memberikan soal tes kepada siswa. Terdapat dua siklus dengan tiga pertemuan. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data perubahan keaktifan belajar peserta didik, dan lembar tes digunakan menilai hasil belajar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan analisis persentase. Hasil Penelitian mengungkapkan aktivitas belajar meningkat dari 60,23% pada siklus I menjadi 81,25% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar terjadi peningkatan kesempurnaan klasikal. Pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 63,63 dengan jumlah 14 orang peserta didik, dan pada siklus II sebesar 81,81 dengan ketuntasan 18 orang peserta didik. Disimpulkan penggunaan model pembelajaran Jigsaw berbasis problem based learning dapat menaikkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran Teknik Elemen Mesin Mekanik Kelas X TPM. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan model pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw basis Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The problem encountered in learning operating system teaching materials majoring in network computer engineering is the lack of creativity in students' thinking skills so that they experience obstacles in the practical process. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using tests. The pre-test was carried out at the beginning to see the students' initial abilities before being given treatment, the post-test was carried out to test the effectiveness or compliance of the application of the treatment. In this study, the data analysis technique used 3 statistical tests, (1) normality test, (2) homogeneity test and (3) hypothesis testing. Through the use of hypothesis testing to show the results of H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with a significance level of 5% so that the value is (P <0.05). The conclusion is that the use of the Flip book Multimedia with the Flipped Classroom approach is able to improve the thinking skills of students majoring in network computer engineering in the operating system subject. So that later research can be applied to other subjects to help the learning process and increase the creativity of vocational high school students.
