Abstract

Mathematical representation is the ability of students to explore and use mathematical ideas explicitly. This study aimed to learn about the effectiveness of the Mastery Learning Assessment Model (MLAM) in mathematics learning at the Assyfa Learning Center Foundation Pasuruan, which then described students' abilities in solving mathematical representation problems evaluated from mathematical dispositions. MLAM is based on repeating a similar assessment through an overhaul of mastery learning from previous researchers. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. In the study presented here, 20 subjects were pooled and surveyed using a continuous assessment tool based on high, low, and moderate math ability. The results showed that almost all students could use representational images to solve mathematical problems, create mathematical models, and solve problems related to mathematical expressions. On the other hand, most students could not complete the two indicators of mathematical representation, namely making sketches and mathematical models based on the given situation and data. This result is indicated by the 75 percent of students who completed this lesson. Based on the Teaching Evaluation (TER) results, most students are also satisfied with this approach. It is expected that the MLAM assessment can improve students' mathematical representation skills.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive learning media based on playing cards through the Wordwall platform that is practical, effective and interesting to improve  Students' recall skills of Indonesian History subject matter. Creative and innovative teachers are important factors in supporting the improvement of students' understanding. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were male VIII grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Tanggul. The instruments used include product validation questionnaires by media experts and material experts, student response questionnaires to assess practicality, as well as pre-test and post-test to measure learning outcomes. The results showed that at the analysis stage, students need interactive learning media. The validation results showed that the media met the eligibility criteria, with a score of 82.5% from media experts and 78% from material experts. The practicality test conducted on students resulted in a score of 79%, which is included in the "practical" category. Based on these findings, the playing card-based learning media through the Wordwall platform is declared valid, practical, and effective in improving students' understanding of Indonesian History material

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the implementation of Integrated Financial Digital Services and e-Money (IFDS-e M) as an innovation strategy to pioneer a circular school model at SD Aisyiyah Gemolong. It addresses Indonesia’s ecological crisis and unsustainable consumption patterns by combining digital transformation with circular economy principles in basic education. Design/methods/approach – Using a descriptive qualitative case study, the research was conducted at SD Aisyiyah Gemolong, a high-performing elementary school with 1,030 students in Central Java. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model to interpret emerging patterns and evaluate program impact. Findings – The IFDS-e M system successfully digitized school transactions, reduced the use of cash, and shaped environmentally conscious behaviors among students. The ban on pocket money led to a measurable reduction in food packaging waste, while school-owned enterprises (BUMS) enhanced service efficiency and internal resource circulation. Over 95% of school financial transactions were processed digitally, improving transparency and minimizing paper use. Challenges such as intermittent internet connectivity emerged during peak access times but did not hinder overall program outcomes. Research implications – The IFDS-e M model offers a replicable strategy for schools to advance sustainable behavior and reduce environmental impact. It informs educational policy and practice on integrating digital tools with ecological values to cultivate responsible consumption from an early age.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are encouraged to implement the model of integrated Islamic education in recent years. They are supposed to integrate Islamic studies, science and technology. The present study aims to reveal the reasons why MAN IC Pekalongan implement an integrated Islamic education model, describe the implementation of students’ activities programs based on science integration, describe the implementation of curriculum development based on science integration, describe the learning implementation based on the integration of Islamic studies, science and technology. Grounded in qualitative approach, data were garnered through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and data verification. The study findings expose that: first, the reasons of integrating Islamic studies, science and technology is to reach the vision of the school which aims to be excellent both on academic and non-academic areas which then be able to improve the quality of madrasah as an integrative Islamic education institution. Second, the students’ activity program used is the model of Separated Integration System (SIS). Third, the curriculum development program used is the model of Integrated Tree Curriculum (ITC). Abstract

The learning process at the elementary school level is still dominated by conventional approaches that are repetitive and lack participation and tolerance of students. In this context, the integration of game-based learning media (games) as a strategic alternative that has the potential to increase participation and tolerance that is relevant to the progress of the times. This study aims to describe the use of educational games in Civic Education (PKn) learning as an effort to increase participation and tolerance of elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at SDI Miftahul Huda Tongas, Probolinggo. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the Princip, teachers and fourth grade students involved in game-based PKn learning. These results indicate that the game-based learning approach not only makes the learning atmosphere more enjoyable, but also strengthens the formation of national character in accordance with the objectives of the PKn subject at the elementary school level. The increase in participation includes: students answering questions from 30% after the game increased to 80%, group discussions from 40% to 85%, student enthusiasm from 35% to 90%, Cooperation with friends from 40% to 80%, sportsmanship and tolerance with friends from 40% to 80%. While in increasing tolerance, respecting friends from 40% to 80%, respecting opinions from 40% to 80%, reducing conflict from 35% to 85%, openness to cooperation from 40% to 85%, not being selfish from 40% to 80%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sering dianggap monoton karena banyak guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah konvensional yang kurang melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik merasa bosan dan kurang memahami materi. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan merefleksikan penerapan metode ceramah plus sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode ceramah plus mengombinasikan ceramah tradisional dengan metode lain, seperti diskusi, tanya jawab, atau demonstrasi, guna menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis dan interaktif. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintesis literatur. Data diperoleh dari berbagai artikel dan tulisan terkait penerapan metode ceramah plus dalam pembelajaran PAI, yang diakses melalui perpustakaan dan media internet. Penelitian ini berfokus pada relevansi dan efektivitas metode ceramah plus dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI. Hasil ulasan menunjukkan bahwa metode ceramah plus mampu mengatasi kelemahan metode ceramah konvensional, seperti minimnya partisipasi peserta didik. Metode ini memungkinkan guru untuk menyesuaikan pendekatan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, jenis materi pelajaran, dan kondisi kelas. Dalam pembelajaran PAI, metode ceramah plus dinilai relevan karena mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, seperti peningkatan pemahaman agama, pembentukan akhlak mulia, dan kemampuan mengamalkan nilai-nilai Islam. Selain itu, integrasi teknologi, seperti media interaktif dan aplikasi pembelajaran, turut memperkuat efektivitas metode ini. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, metode ini memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI. Dengan penerapan yang tepat, metode ceramah plus dapat membantu peserta didik menjadi individu yang cerdas, berakhlak mulia, dan mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penguatan budaya akademik di kalangan mahasiswa menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk membentuk intelektual yang kompetitif secara global, terlebih pada mahasiswa PAI UIN Gusdur. Penulisan karya ilmiah merupakan salah satu wujud implementasi budaya akademik, namun mahasiswa sering menghadapi tantangan teknis dan etis, terutama dengan maraknya penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) seperti ChatGPT tanpa mematuhi etika akademik. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang budaya akademik, khususnya terkait etika penulisan ilmiah, serta mengedukasi penggunaan AI secara bertanggung jawab. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi seminar daring, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung melalui platform daring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan menguatnya pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap struktur penulisan ilmiah, etika akademik, dan penggunaan AI yang transparan. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong kesadaran akan pentingnya integritas dan kejujuran akademik, sejalan dengan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam Al-Qur’an. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil menjadi katalis dalam membentuk budaya akademik yang produktif dan berkelanjutan, mendukung visi UIN Gusdur untuk mencetak intelektual muslim berdaya saing global.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk kualitas sumber daya manusia, yang menuntut peningkatan pembelajaran melalui supervisi akademik. Supervisi akademik tidak sekadar pengawasan, tetapi juga strategi peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih baik. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi literatur yang mengkaji berbagai teori dan konsep yang berkaitan dengan supervisi akademik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik yang diterapkan dengan strategi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari kajian ini menekankan pentingnya implementasi kebijakan supervisi akademik yang lebih fleksibel dan berbasis bukti, guna mendukung perkembangan profesional guru. Refleksi terhadap PERMENPAN 21 Tahun 2024 juga menunjukkan bahwa reformasi jabatan fungsional guru dapat memperkuat sistem pendidikan, meskipun membutuhkan kesiapan infrastruktur dan dukungan kebijakan yang lebih matang. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pemangku kepentingan pendidikan dalam mengembangkan strategi supervisi akademik yang lebih efektif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis video game menawarkan pendekatan inovatif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi global siswa, seperti pemikiran kritis, kolaborasi lintas budaya, dan kesadaran terhadap isu dunia. Artikel ini mengkaji potensi dan tantangan implementasi video game dalam pendidikan global, dengan fokus pada konteks Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan literatur dari jurnal akademik, artikel ilmiah, dan dokumentasi relevan, dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola potensi dan hambatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa game seperti Mobile Legends: Bang Bang dan DreadOut dapat memfasilitasi kolaborasi lintas budaya dan mempromosikan budaya lokal di panggung global, tetapi implementasinya terkendala oleh kesenjangan akses teknologi, kurangnya pelatihan pendidik, dan isu etika seperti potensi kecanduan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk mengembangkan game edukasi lokal yang relevan secara budaya dan terjangkau, guna mendukung transformasi pendidikan di Indonesia dan kontribusi terhadap tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Quizizz sebagai aplikasi evaluasi memiliki peranan penting untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Di Indonesia, sudah terdapat beberapa guru menggunakan aplikasi tersebut, namun penggunaan secara luas masih belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan respons, minat belajar, dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa SMP berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa SMP. Data diperoleh dari angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung total skor respons, minat belajar, dan pemahaman konsep siswa yang dikonversi pada skala 100 dan dikategorilan sangat baik, baik, cukup, dan kurang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respons dan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran bangun datar menggunakan Quizizz berkategori baik. Rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa sebesar 66 berkategori cukup baik. Dengan demikian, guru diharapkan menggunakan Quizizz dalam pembelajaran dan evaluasinya sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat siswa belajar dan berlatih kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Quizizz as an evaluation application has an important role in increasing students' interest in learning and understanding mathematical concepts. In Indonesia, there are already several teachers using the application, but its use hasn’t been maximized. The purpose of this study was to describe the response, interest in learning, and the ability to understand the concept of two-dimensional figures for junior high school students with the help of the Quizizz application. This study was quantitative descriptive. The participants were 30 junior high school students. The data were obtained from questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive technique by calculating the total response score, learning interest, and students' conceptual understanding converted on a scale of 100 and categorized as very good, good, fairly good, and poor. The results showed that the responses and students' interest in learning two-dimensional figures using Quizizz were in a good category. The average ability to understand the concept of two-dimensional shapes of 66 students was in a fairly good category. The teachers were expected to use Quizizz in their learning and evaluation so that it could increase students' interest in learning and practicing their ability to understand mathematical concepts.
