Abstract

Learning Javanese script is challenging due to its differences from Latin letters, affecting students' learning outcomes and concentration. This study aims to enhance learning outcomes and concentration using educational game media. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model in two cycles, involving 22 third-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni. Results show a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with average scores increasing from 54.81 (pre-cycle) to 58.40 (cycle I) and 84.54 (cycle II). The highest scores rose from 93 (pre-cycle) to 95 (cycle I) and 100 (cycle II). Student concentration also improved, with optimal concentration rates increasing from 36.37% (pre-cycle) to 68.19% (cycle I) and 95.56% (cycle II). These findings demonstrate that educational games enhance students’ engagement and comprehension of Javanese script. The study contributes to educational science by proving that interactive technology-based media can improve learning effectiveness, particularly for difficult subjects. Implementing educational games provides an engaging learning experience, making it an effective strategy for teachers to optimize student participation and understanding.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan keefektifan model pembelajaran Active Deep Learner Experience (ADLX) dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kolaborasi mahasiswa dengan hambatan perilaku sosial era merdeka belajar. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian R & D mengikuti prosedur Borg and Gall dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa PGSD mahasiwa yang sebagian mengalami hambatan perilaku dan emosi. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Data analisis kebutuhan diperoleh dari data angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Data kelayakan model diperoleh melalui angket expert judgment bidang model pembelajaran, sedangkan data keefektifan model pembelajaran dikumpulkan dengan angket dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan berdasarkan validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli model pembelajaran dan ahli assesmen. Kualitas kelayakan model berkategori sangat layak. (2) Model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku sosial, dengan tingkat keterlaksanaan model berada pada kategori tinggi. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pencapaian perilaku sosial yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran ADLX dan mahasiswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a project-based learning method (Project Based Learning) that integrates local wisdom through the use of paper puppets, with a focus on improving the creative thinking of class III students in elementary schools. The development method used is the ADDIE model, which includes five main steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. At the analysis stage, this research evaluates students' needs and characteristics and details the learning objectives to be achieved. The next step, namely design, involves designing a local wisdom-based project curriculum using paper puppets. The development process involves creating learning materials, resources, and other supporting tools that suit design needs. Implementation was carried out in class III, with data collection techniques in the form of observations and questionnaires to assess students' interest and understanding of the learning material. In addition, triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity of the data collected. The evaluation results show that the average percentage of validity of aspects of students' attractiveness and understanding reaches an adequate level, with a total of 88.1% validity achieved. These findings provide a positive contribution to the development of a project-based learning model by utilizing local wisdom through paper puppets. The application of the ADDIE Method together with the use of data collection techniques provides a strong foundation in planning, developing, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of contextual strategies based on digital media in improving critical and creative thinking skills on photosynthesis material in elementary schools. This study was conducted at SDN Sukasenang, Singaparna, Tasikmalaya, West Java. The population and sample of this study were fourth-grade students, with a total of 116 students. The sampling technique used was availability sampling or area sampling using a quantitative experimental control group pretest-posttest research method. Data were collected through pretest and posttest tests, and analyzed using the t statistical test and one way ANOVA. The results showed that contextual learning strategies based on digital media were effective in improving students' critical and creative thinking skills, with a significant increase in posttest scores compared to pretests. The average contextual score on critical thinking skills increased from 80.93 on the pretest to 87.52 on the posttest, and the average contextual score on creative thinking skills increased from 74.86 on the pretest to 81.40 on the posttest. This study confirms that digital media-based contextual strategies have a positive impact on the development of critical and creative thinking skills of grade 4 students of Sukasenang Tasikmalaya public elementary school, with digital media-based contextual strategies on critical thinking skills showing superior results. Based on these findings, researchers hope to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the world of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the application of puberty animation learning media in increasing the independence of class VI students at SDN 9 Purwodadi in 2021/2022. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) with a total sample of 32. The data collection method used observation, tests, interviews, and documentation with the percentage results pre-cycle average achievement level of 44.32%, cycle I with an average achievement level of 48.7, and cycle II with an average achievement level of 79.36% had an increase. This is evidenced by the increasing percentage of the number of students independence in the process of teaching and learning activities before and after being given action
