Abstract

Objective: Toulmin's Argument Pattern (TAP) is the most widely used argumentation pattern and was first used in science education. TAP has a significant contribution as literature in explaining the concept of argumentation. This study aims to identify the contribution and describe the research profile of applying TAP in physics education during the last ten years. Method: The method used in this research is a bibliometric analysis based on Scopus data with the help of MS Excel and VOSviewer. The results of this study obtained 67 documents related to TAP. Results: Based on the results of bibliometric data visualization related to TAP, 4 clusters (1) discuss TAP focused on learning processes and activities in the classroom. (2) the application of TAP focused on assessing argumentation and critical thinking skills (3) TAP was associated with the identification of the components of scientific argumentation (4) TAP related to contextual problem-solving in improving scientific literacy. Novelty: Physics is the subject that appears the most in research related to the use of TAP, among other science subjects. Based on the results of this study, TAP has several contributions to physics learning in improving students' argumentation skills so that it can be an opportunity for further research. That way, the next one will be able to discuss more deeply related to the TAP, which is applied to physics learning to improve argumentation and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Physics learning cannot be separated from studying abstract concepts and practical activities to help students understand concepts in real terms. In the learning process, practical tools are needed to made easily and used in learning. The limited equipment in the laboratory is one of the obstacles to the lack of optimal learning activities, especially in practical activities. Therefore, teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in utilizing the tools around them so they can be used as practical tools. Dynamic electricity is also seen as an abstract concept requiring a practicum so that students can understand the concept real and meaningfully. Then, the other obstacle is scientific argumentation skills that still need to be better trained or not contained in the learning materials. It makes students' skills in scientific argumentation still lacking. The solution is: Synergize with the Physics Senior High School Teachers in Sidoarjo. They are trained through training to make physics practicum tools. Thus, the training participants can make these practical tools, can arrange student worksheets according to these tools and based on scientific argumentation skills. They can apply them in learning at their school. The result of this training is that the response of the Physics Senior high school teachers to the materials and demonstrations is very enthusiastic and interesting. This is evidenced by the average response questionnaire results of 3.44 with the maximum value of the questionnaire being 4. The maximum value obtained based on the response questionnaire is 3.66 and the lowest is 3.28.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assist villagers in preparing village tourism roadmaps, especially sports tourism, assisting in creating content on social media to promote village local wisdom as well as promote virtual village tourism (virtual tourism). The approach method used is Focus Group Discussion, modeling, workshops, and peer tutoring both in preparing village roadmaps and developing creative content. The research results obtained were upgrading through village potential inventory activities, human resource management, especially knowledge about virtual tourism and sports tourism, and marketing through social media carried out by the team to partners, namely getting a positive response. There has been an increase in the knowledge and understanding of the community in creating social media accounts, determining creative ideas for promotion, and preparing roadmaps for tourism villages (sports tourism and virtual tourism). The development of tourism potential and community empowerment is carried out because there are many potential natural resources (food and tourist objects), human resources, and cultural resources (Bull Racing) to be developed and shared with a wide audience through social media which will later bring benefits and benefits for the local community.

Abstract

Alat penetasan telur adalah metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan penetasan ayam dengan meniru perilaku induk ayam seperti suhu, kelembaban dan lingkungan. Salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan penetasan telur yaitu pencahayaan dan suhu yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan telur ayam 37 - 38°C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji variasi jumlah dan posisi lampu penetasan telur terhadap suhu yang dihasilkan dari dalam ruang inkubator telur. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah ruang penetasan telur dengan ukuran 80 x 50 x 50 cm yang dilengkapi dengan lampu pijar dan kipas angin. Variasi jumlah dan letak lampu dalam penelitian ini mencakup 1, 2 dan 3 lampu pijar. Selama penelitian berlangsung, suhu dijaga dengan rentang antara 37 – 38 °C dan suhu awal 29 °C. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tiga lampu penetasan telur dengan daya masing-masing 5 watt yang ditempatkan di kanan, kiri dan belakang inkubator menghasilkan suhu yang di inginkan. Durasi waktu hidup dan mati lampu pijar lebih stabil dan konstan dibandingkan dengan penggunaan satu atau dua lampu pijar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sensor DHT11 memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi pada ketiga lampu pijar, dengan tingkat ketelitian sebesar 99,02% untuk suhu dan 97,89% untuk kelembaban. Hasil penelitian ini akan menjadi acuan penting dalam pengembangan teknik penetasan telur yang lebih efektif dan efisien, dengan tujuan meningkatkan produktivitas peternakan ayam.

Abstract

Drone pengukur CO adalah pesawat tanpa awak atau Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) yang dapat dikendalikan dari jarak jauh melalui sebuah pancaran gelombang yang dirangkai dengan sensor yang mendeteksi kadar CO di atmosfer Bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengembangan penelitian pada drone pengukur CO yang dilakukan sepanjang tahun 2011-2021 melalui analisis bibliometrik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan literature review untuk meringkas beberapa artikel. Pencarian artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Harzing’s Publish or Perish, Mendeley, dan VOSviewers pada tanggal 11 Juni 2022. Dari analisis bibliometrik yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat empat klaster utama pada kata kunci “Drone OR Carbon Monoxide” diketahui bahwa Chen, H, Liu, L, Song, H, dan Zhang, Y adalah author yang mendominasi penelitian dan banyak dieksplorasi author lainnya. Selain itu, ditemukan juga bahwa Study, Concentration, Interaction, Source, dan Measurement mendominasi penelitian tentang drone pengukur CO. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian hubungan antara drone dan CO yang masih kurang. Maka, diharapkan penilitian terkait drone pengukur CO harus lebih difokuskan lagi sehingga dapat menjadi inovasi baru

Abstract

This study explores the concept of physics in local potential, namely hand-drawn batik, by integrating indigenous science with scientific science. The discussion will be related to the physical concepts of temperature and heat transfer at each step or process of making batik, such as heating wax to write batik patterns, dyeing batik cloth, removing batik wax, and drying batik. This research is qualitative research with interview and observation techniques on batik craftsmen in Sendang Duwur Village, Paciran Lamongan. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles and Huberman model. This study made observations, followed by an exploration of the physics concept of the batik process directly and supported by existing theories. The results of this study there are concepts of physics applied in making Batik Sendang Duwur, especially temperature and heat physics.

Abstract

Merdeka's curriculum has been developed as a more flexible curriculum framework while focusing on essential subjects and developing the character and competence of students. In addition, students are also given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills in social, cultural, and economic environments. To realize these aspirations, the Merdeka curriculum was born with an innovation in the form of the Pancasila Student Profile Enhancement Project (P5). The purpose of this study is to find and gather data on the implementation of the independent curriculum in State High School 1 Kedamean for the P5 project. To provide useful and easy-to-understand information for the reader, the study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the subject, the situation, and the data obtained during observations and questions. The results of this research show that the curriculum in State High School 1 Kedamean has been implemented well and is running well, but there are still many shortcomings and difficulties in its implementation. As a leader, the head of school must have the ability to change the perspective of human resources in their educational environment so that the independent curriculum can be applied to the maximum. Overall it can be said that P5 has run 90% with obstacles faced by schools such as teacher conformity with policy, where teachers are still in the process of adapting themselves to the characteristics of the Merdeka curriculum. The results of these findings can be used as a study for developing the implementation of the P5 program in other schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan dan kualitas pendidikan yang diwujudkan dalam perubahan kurikulum. Kurikulum di Indonesia memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda misalnya kurikulum nasional dna kurikulum internasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kurikulum nasional seringkali lebih terkait dengan budaya lokal dan nilai-nilai nasional, menciptakan fondasi yang mencerminkan identitas dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Sedangkan kurikulum internasional, seperti kurikulum Cambridge dan International Baccalaureate (IB) mencerminkan aspirasi global dan standar yang relevan dalam skala internasional (Cambridge Assessment International Education, 2021). Pada salah satu sekolah internasional di Jakarta terdapat beberapa jenis kurikulum, meliputi: Singapore Curriculum, IGCSE, dan IB Diploma. Terdapat tingkat prasekolah yang menggunakan Kurikulum Singapura, di tingkat dasar dan menengah menggunakan IGCSE dan Kurikulum Singapura, sedangkan di tingkat perguruan tinggi junior menggunakan kurikulum IB Diploma. Pembelajaran pada kurikulum nasional dan internasional memiliki perbedaan pada penggunaan bahasa, misalnya pada kurikulum nasional menggunakan bahasa utama Bahasa Indonesia sedangkan pada kurikulum internasional menggunakan bahasa utama Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang telah diterapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang sebagai Sekolah Penggerak dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari temuan penelitian dikembangkan secara analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum menggunakan metode snowballing. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa : (1) Guru memiliki keleluasaan dalam memilih perangkat ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, (2) Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang, (3) Asesmen penilaian di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang, (4) Kebijakan merdeka belajar yang diterapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang, (5) Hambatan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang meliputi : (a) Guru membutuhkan waktu lebih untuk belajar lagi supaya dapat adaptif dengan tuntutan perubahan yang diharapkan, (b) Kurangnya kualitas atau kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru dan (c) Guru diminta untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dengan memanfaatkan berbagai media dan model pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa, (5) Solusi yang diberikan untuk menyelesaikan hambatan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Balongpanggang yaitu adanya pengadaan berbagai workshop atau seminar dan membentuk komunitas belajar bagi guru.
