Abstract

Kreativitas karyawan merupakan faktor penting serta penentu dalam melakukan perubahan dan pengembangan bagi industri kreatif, agar dapat beradaptasi terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Salah satu faktor yang mendorong adanya kreativitas karyawan, adalah peran pemimpin yang bergaya transformational, karena diyakini mampu memberikan arahan dan motivasi kepada karyawan lebih terfokus dalam mencapai tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kreativitas karyawan dengan fokus promosi dan creative process engagement sebagai mediator. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 41 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan teknik analisis Smart PLS 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan transformasional terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Fokus promosi terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Fokus promosi terbukti memediasi parsial pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kreativitas karyawan. Creative process engagement terbukti memediasi secara parsial pengaruh fokus promosi terhadap kreativitas karyawan

Abstract

Nowadays, the rapid growth of service companies, especially in beauty service area can induce competition among business subjects. Not only focusing on how to attract consumers, but also how to plan and develop human resources. By knowing employee’s involvement level they felt, the business doers on beauty services are eager to know how it can influence to reach company’s goals. This research aims for knowing the influence of employee involvement that employee feels and the effect towards employee, whether it is directly or not through organization commitment as an intervening variable. The level of employee’s intention to quit are considered important. The high turn-over rate is the big problem that avoided by companies because not only it is destructive, but also companies should ask about employees commitment that indirectly influence intention to quit. The objects of this research are front officers and beauty therapists at Natasha beauty clinic in Surabaya. After spreading 74 self-report questionnaire, 67 questionnaires were collected as a personal statement of each employee. Collected questionnaires then are processed and examined using path analysis technique. The result of the research through path analysis model proved both hypothesis examination that front officers and beauty therapists Natasha beauty clinic in Surabaya have high working involvement so that directly and negatively influence significant towards intention to quit with path coefficient level -0,29 and CR -2,634 and also P ≤ 0,05. While the indirect influence of the organization commitment as an intermediary variable results in smaller path coefficient level on -0,143. It means that the influence of increased employee’s involvement level can directly decrease intention to quit by front officers and beauty therapist in Natasha Beauty Clinic in Surabaya. This is without influenced by employee’s high organization commitment level

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the influence of a leader's attitude in delegating authority to his subordinates (empowering leadership). Empowering leadership have an impact on the ability of employees to generate new and useful ideas for the organization (employee creativity). This study also analyzes how individual beliefs in producing something creative (creative self-efficacy) as a mediating variable. Employee trust in superiors (trust in supervisors) and uncertain and threatening situations (uncertainty avoidance) are moderating variables. TThis study uses primary data from 51 lecturers where the data is obtained using a questionnaire distributed to lecturers at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. This study uses statistical tools Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). Based on the research results, it shows that creative self-efficacy fully mediates the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis keyakinan individu dalam menghasilkan sesuatu yang kreatif (creative self-efficacy) sebagai variabel mediasi. Kepercayaan karyawan kepada atasan (trust in supervisor) dan situasi yang tidak pasti dan bersifat mengancam (uncertainty avoidance) sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari 51 dosen Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Untuk menguji hipotesis, digunakan alat bantu statistik Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian creative self-efficacy memediasi secara penuh hubungan empowering leadership dan employee creativity. Abstract

Organizational change is a process whereby an organization change from the current state to the desired state to increase its effectiveness. These changes required the support of a leader, management, and all employees. The change will be successful if all of the organization's role in it. Someone who has a transformational leadership style will affect the readiness for change that will impact on the development and formation of commitment to change from employees. This study aimed to analyze the effect of transformational leadership toward commitment to change with readiness for change as a mediating variable. The variables used in this study are: transformational leadership, readiness for change, and commitment to change. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method and supported by primary data from interviews and questionnaires. This study uses primary data from 70 employees, where the data is retrieved using a questionnaire distributed to permanent employees of PT. Telkom Divisi Regional V Surabaya. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). The results showed that transformational leadership does not have a significant effect on the commitment to change, transformational leadership has a significant effect on the readiness for change, and readiness for change has a significant effect on the commitment to change. This means that the readiness for change proved to be a mediating variable and fully mediate between transformational leadership and commitment to change. Abstract

The Siwalan Mesra community is a community that consists of family members who joint Vasectomy birth control. From 50 Vasectomy birth control families in Pakal Subdistrict, the western outskirts of Surabaya, data shows 24% of pre-prosperous families, 40% of prosperous families I, 18% of prosperous families II, 4% of prosperous families III, 14% of prosperous families III plus. Taking from depth interview, it was obtained additional data that 34% or 17 families had businesses, both the main business and additional businesses carried out by the wife and or family to support family income. These businesses include businesses in food production, trade, and services. The problems faced are: the business carried out by vasectomy families does not yet have a standardized product and the legality, in this case is SIUP. The purpose of the empowerment carried out is standardization of food products and SIUP management assistance. The method used in the empowerment of the Vasectomy family planning is socialization, training, industrial visits, and SIUP management assistance. The results obtained in the program are improving product quality by applying standardization and the issuance of 17 SIUP.

Abstract

Proactive personality is an important factor in a boundaryless career. The reason is, in the boundaryless career period, the work environment becomes uncertain and the challenges in a career are increasingly complex. Therefore, there is a need for an adaptive attitude in running a career. Proactive personality is seen as a form of career adaptability. This study analyzes the rela- tionship between proactive personality, career adaptability and career success (subjective and ob- jective). Samples from this study are 41 people from employees of PT KAI DAOP 8 Surabaya which is included in the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). The respondents’ data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that when proactive personalities increase, career adaptability and subjective career success will in- crease too. While the other results of this study are when proactive personality increases, it does not significantly influence objective career success. Similarly, increasing career adaptability does not significantly influence objective career success.

Abstract

Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Kabupaten Kendal is one of the young women organizations of Muhammadiyah that has a business unit called Amal business entity Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (BUANA) which moves as a form of entrepreneurship organization. This series of activities began with the planning of events, implementation activities and evaluation, and a follow-up plan (RTL) in the form of creating an entrepreneurial database to see a few entrepreneurial competencies owned by entrepreneurship. The activities carried out by involving the elements of the leadership of branch leaders and leaders in the branches in the district of Kendal to be able to creatively and effectively apply the training results sustainably. The entrepreneurship Program successfully showed progress. The participant Database shows a success indicator where the majority of participants aged 37 – 45 are 39.8% of the total participants in this activity as much as 93 people. That means it is the productive age of existing entrepreneurs who strengthens the movement of BUANA. And the length of 1-10 years is the identification of participants from the beginning to contribute creative ideas in the development of BUANA. Competency has a strong influence on entrepreneurship (BUANA). It means that the need for HR competence becomes significant in contributing to the entrepreneurship of the Nasyiah organization in this case, BUANA (charity agency Nasyiatul Aisyiyah) Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memberikan kerangka untuk kewirausahaan organisasi yang ada pada organisasi non profit (sosial kemasyarakatan) yang dihadapi saat ini maupun ke depan. Program I-CreatedI mendukung dalam kewirausahaan organisasi untuk menemukan solusi yang terbukti menjadi kebutuhan organisasi  dan kemajuan  kinerja usaha organisasi. Sumber Daya Manusia sebagai  kunci dari keberlangsungan kewirausahaan organisasi memiliki peran penting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Peneliti mengambil lokasi pada Badan Usaha dan Amal Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (BUANA) Pimpinan Daerah di Kabupaten Kendal- Jawa Tengah. Hasil  penelitian menunjukan  bahwa 60,9% variabel program  I-CreatedI mampu menjelaskan variabel kinerja BUANA sedangkan 39,1% lainnya dijelaskan oleh variabel di luar program. Adapun faktor di luar program yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja BUANA pada kewiirausahaan organisasi antara lain: motivasi, perilaku kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi yang terbangun. Berdasar hasil terhadap bobot sumbangan efektif  program I-CreatedI bahwa variabel kemandirian memberi kontribusi terbesar sebesar 4,689 , kreativitas sebesar 2,835 sedangkan inovasi berkisar 2,444.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of entrepreneurial attitudes towards entrepreneurial intentions with entrepreneurship course as a mediating factor. This study used a survey method with 382 respondents that included Accounting and Management Science students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University who took an Entrepreneurship course in even semester. The data in this study were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with PLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that entrepreneurial attitudes affected entrepreneurial intentions and entrepreneurship course. Entrepreneurship course also partially mediated the effect of entrepreneurial attitudes on the entrepreneurial intentions of accounting and management students.

Abstract

The center of SMEs carving furniture in Karduluk village, Sumenep Regency in Madura, East Java which has dynamic and uncertain environment and also high level of competition. Such situation needs adequate managerial capabilities so that SME players can sustain their existence from external competition. In spite of its thriving existence, the industry has some potential problems, which need to be identified The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the entrepreneurship orientation, the capability of business network towards the performance of SMEs through the commitment of the businessmen. This research employed quantitative analysis, which used AMOS as its method of analysis. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 105 craftman who were also managers of craving furniture units. This research found that businessmen orientation affected the performance of carving furniture. Business networking capability affected the performance of carving furniture. Behavioral commitment had a partial mediation impact on entrepreneurship orientation towards the performance of carving furniture. Behavioral commitment had a full mediation impact on entrepreneurship orientation towards the performance of carving furniture.
