The research method applied is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques based on documentation, observation, and interviews with principals, class teachers, and 2 students from the high class. The results showed that schools play an important role in instilling the character of social care which is realized through social activities that are carried out regularly and scheduled at MI Muhammadiyah PK Wirogunan which actively involves students and gets support from student guardians. The organized social activities are the dawn alms piggy bank, Friday infaq, and sharing activities with the community. In its implementation, the obstacles experienced were found in the presence of individuals who took items secretly exceeding the specified limit, and the lack of widespread information among the community to find out whether this sharing activity was open to the general public. The obstacles that occur can be constructive input for schools so that activities can take place optimally and in line with the goals set.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of gadget usage intensity on the learning motivation of elementary school students. The background of this research stems from concerns over the increasing use of gadgets among children, which may potentially decrease their focus and enthusiasm for learning. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design to examine the relationship between gadget usage intensity as the independent variable and learning motivation as the dependent variable. The research subjects consisted of fifth and sixth-grade students from several private elementary schools under the Dabin Yos Sudarso cluster, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire covering frequency and duration of gadget use, as well as learning motivation indicators based on Uno’s theory. The instrument was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson Product Moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 26. The results show a significant influence between gadget usage intensity and learning motivation, with a regression coefficient value of 0.675 and a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05). The higher the intensity of gadget use—especially for entertainment and social media—the lower the students’ learning motivation. Learning activities through gadgets tend to be minimal and are unable to compensate for the distractions from non-educational content. The findings highlight the importance of supervision and guidance from parents and teachers in directing gadget usage appropriately, so that technology serves as a learning support rather than a hindrance.

Abstract

The Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA) learning program has been declared a mandatory program within the Merdeka Curriculum. However, teachers at Aisyiyah Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Gatak District lack adequate understanding of it. The objective of this community service activity was to enhance Aisyiyah PAUD teachers' understanding of the P5-PPRA learning program. The methods used included lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions. After participating in the socialization, participants' knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and benefits of P5-PPRA increased from 58.13% to 90.69%. This improved understanding equips Aisyiyah PAUD teachers with sufficient preparation to implement the P5-PPRA learning program in the classroom. Mastery of the P5-PPRA learning program is expected to improve the quality of Aisyiyah PAUD education.

Abstract

The total number of words in the abstract should not exceed 250 words. This article aims to explore effective methods and strategies in improving early childhood English skills, with a focus on the application of movement and song methods in TPP AL Firdaus Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with direct observation and interviews. Data was collected through observation of teaching and learning activities in the classroom, as well as interviews with teachers and parents. Observation was focused on the application of the movement and song method in English learning and children's responses to the method. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to identify the impact and effectiveness of this method in improving children's English language skills. The results showed that the movement and song methods significantly increased children's motivation, curiosity, and enthusiasm in learning English. Children are able to remember new vocabulary better through the repetition of words in songs and movements. This activity also improves children's motor skills and collaboration when doing movements together. In addition, the use of audio-visual media such as videos and picture cards enriches children's learning experience, helping them recognize and pronounce words in English better. Teachers at TPP AL Firdaus Surakarta have succeeded in creating a fun and interactive learning atmosphere, which motivates children to be more active in the learning process. This research makes an original contribution to the understanding of the importance of movement and song methods in English language learning for early childhood. The results of this study can be a reference for educators at TPP AL Firdaus and other educational institutions in developing more effective and fun teaching strategies for children. This research also highlights the important role of teachers and the school environment in supporting children's language development, as well as the importance of parental support in the learning process.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explains the bullying prevention program implemented in a Child Friendly School (SRA) setting, focusing on how phenomenological inquiry can uncover students’ lived experiences of bullying and the ways the school’s initiatives give meaning to those experiences. Methodology: Employing a qualitative phenomenological design, data were collected through in‑depth interviews with teachers, parents, and students; direct observations of classroom and playground interactions; and review of relevant documentation (including SOPs and project plans). This approach allowed the researcher to interpret and describe the firsthand experiences of community members as they engage with the school’s anti‑bullying efforts. Results: Findings reveal that KB/TK Islam Orbit II’s bullying prevention program is guided by a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and is integrated into a Project‑Based Learning (PJBL) model that emphasizes collaboration, mutual assistance, and real‑world problem solving. Teachers serve as living models of positive behavior, instilling good habits in school that extend into the home. Moreover, by educating children about the nature, causes, and consequences of bullying, the program empowers peers to intervene when they witness harmful behavior. Parental involvement—marked by sensitivity to even minor physical or emotional changes in their children—emerged as a critical factor in early detection and intervention. Applications/Originality/Value: This study offers a replicable framework for schools seeking to create child‑centered anti‑bullying programs: combining clear procedural guidelines with experiential, project‑based learning and active role modeling. Its phenomenological insights into children’s and parents’ perceptions provide valuable guidance for educators and policymakers aiming to foster safer, more empathetic learning environments at both school and family levels.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes strategies for instilling entrepreneurial values in early childhood through outing class activities at Al‑Khoir Kindergarten Boyolali. In response to globalization’s increasing competitiveness, the research seeks to determine how real‑world experiences can prepare young learners to face future challenges with creativity, independence, and problem‑solving skills. Methodology: A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing direct observation of outing class sessions, semi‑structured interviews with teachers, parents, and community partners, and review of program documentation. Observations focused on children’s engagement during visits to business premises, traditional markets, and agricultural sites, while interviews explored stakeholders’ roles in designing and facilitating these thematic learning experiences. Results: Findings reveal that outing class programs—tailored to children’s developmental stages—effectively embed entrepreneurial values by allowing youngsters to observe and interact with real entrepreneurs. Collaborative planning between teachers, parents, and local businesses enriched the activities, fostering children’s creativity, autonomy, and emerging problem‑solving abilities. Key challenges included limited scheduling flexibility, resource constraints, and the need to continuously adapt materials to suit varying developmental levels. Applications/Originality/Value: By demonstrating that hands‑on, community‑linked outings can build foundational entrepreneurial mindsets, this study offers a replicable model for early‑childhood centers seeking to expand beyond classroom walls. Its insights highlight the importance of multi‑stakeholder collaboration and age‑appropriate program design, informing policymakers, educators, and parent groups on how to strengthen support systems and optimize the impact of entrepreneurial learning from a young age.
