Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi penilaian diagnostik non-kognitif yang berfokus pada kesiapan dan gaya belajar siswa SD. Metode analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi langsung. Temuan mengungkapkan wawasan penting mengenai aspek non-kognitif dari kesiapan dan gaya belajar siswa SD. Secara spesifik, studi ini menemukan bahwa kondisi fisik siswa dinilai sangat baik oleh 68,75% responden, kondisi mental dinilai baik oleh semua responden, dan tingkat motivasi sangat tinggi, dengan 87,5% siswa dinilai sangat termotivasi. Mengenai pengetahuan awal, 75% siswa dikategorikan baik. Dalam hal gaya belajar, terdapat distribusi yang beragam antara auditori (37,5%), visual (25%), dan audiovisual (37,5%), menunjukkan variasi yang seimbang dalam preferensi belajar di antara siswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman tentang kesiapan dan gaya belajar siswa sangat penting bagi pendidik untuk mengoptimalkan strategi pengajaran dan meningkatkan hasil pendidikan.

Abstract

Recent instructions has been focusing on critical thinking skills by utilizing contextual learning resources. Therefore, this study was conducted by aiming at describing the quality of local culture-based students’ worksheet from the aspect of content, instructional design, instructional media, and the product users in accordance with the characteristics of primary school students. The integrated local culture-based worksheet was developed by using ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The data collected n study were analyzed descriptive qualitatively. Further, this study produced a thematic students’ worksheet on three main topics. The perception of the expert of instructional content to the integrated local-culture based worksheet was also in excellent category. On the other hand, the perception of the expert of instructional design and instructional media were in good category. Lastly, the perception of the students as the product users was in excellent category. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed worksheet has been suited to the primary school students’ characteristics.

Abstract

This study is based on the existence of problems at SDI Rawe related to the psychomotor skills of students who are still low and have not been well developed, so students have not been active in the implementation of learning, especially IPAS subjects. This study aims to measure the psychomotor skills of students in IPAS learning through project-based learning. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with a research design of the Kemmis and Mac Taggart model carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle has 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 25 fifth-grade students of SDI Rawe. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Data collection instruments used observation sheets and psychomotor skills test sheets. The results of the project implementation in cycle I and cycle II have increased by 32%, as seen from the percentage of student activeness of 48%, which has increased by 80%. Thus it can be concluded that project-based learning can improve the psychomotor skills of students at SDI Rawe class V in IPAS subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya pendidikan dasar dalam membentuk karakter, khususnya cinta tanah air, di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan paparan budaya digital. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana karakter cinta tanah air dibangun melalui gerakan literasi kebangsaan yang diintegrasikan sebagai kultur sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi selama kurang lebih dua minggu, dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih secara purposif, meliputi guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi kebangsaan telah menjadi kebiasaan sekolah yang berjalan rutin dan konsisten melalui pembiasaan lagu nasional, penggunaan bahasa Indonesia, program 15 menit membaca, tindak lanjut membaca menulis, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bertema kebangsaan, keteladanan guru, serta dukungan kebijakan kepala sekolah. Kesimpulannya, integrasi literasi kebangsaan sebagai kultur sekolah efektif membangun kebanggaan, identitas nasional, dan perilaku cinta tanah air pada siswa.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengakomodasi seluruh siswa tanpa pengecualian sebagai upaya membangun karakter anak sekolah dasar sejak dini dengan landasan kesetaraan hak belajar, penghargaan terhadap keberagaman, serta pemerataan akses akademik dan social bagi siswa ABK dan siswa reguler. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan inklusif di SDI Bobou sekaligus menganalisis peran guru, interaksi sosial antar siswa, dukungan orang tua, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi langsung dan wawancara kepada guru di SDI Bobou. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi interaksi pembelajaran di dalam dan luar kelas, serta wawancara mendalam berkaitan dengan fasilitas, strategi pembelajaran, dan aktivitas sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif di SDI Bobou berjalan cukup baik, ditandai dengan sikap guru yang adil, penggunaan strategi belajar fleksibel, penyederhanaan materi, pembiasaan nilai karakter, serta interaksi antar siswa yang harmonis tanpa diskriminasi, meskipun masih terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan fasilitas dan kebutuhan pelatihan guru. Kesimpulan kajian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan inklusif di sekolah dasar menjadi landasan strategis dalam membangun karakter siswa yang toleran, berempati, adaptif, bertanggung jawab, dan siap hidup dalam masyarakat yang beragam, sehingga tidak hanya memperluas akses pendidikan bagi siswa ABK, tetapi juga memperkuat pendidikan karakter seluruh siswa di SDI Bobou.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran deep learning di SDK Ngedukelu, Kabupaten Ngada, serta mengidentifikasi pemahaman guru, praktik pembelajaran, dan hambatan yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Pembelajaran deep learning menekankan proses berpikir tingkat tinggi melalui aktivitas analisis, refleksi, dan pengaitan konsep dengan situasi nyata. Pendekatan ini mendukung orientasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Namun, penerapannya di sekolah dasar yang berada pada konteks geografis dan sarana terbatas masih menyisakan berbagai tantangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman dasar mengenai konsep deep learning, tetapi belum mampu menerapkannya secara utuh dalam pembelajaran. Proses belajar masih didominasi metode ceramah, aktivitas eksploratif siswa terbatas, dan asesmen autentik belum diterapkan secara konsisten. Hambatan utama meliputi minimnya pelatihan praktis, keterbatasan fasilitas belajar, serta beban administrasi yang cukup tinggi sehingga mengurangi waktu guru dalam merancang pembelajaran mendalam. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan aplikatif dan pendampingan berkelanjutan agar pembelajaran deep learning dapat diterapkan lebih optimal. Dukungan sekolah dalam penyediaan sumber belajar dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif juga menjadi faktor penting.

Abstract

Ethnoscience highlights local culture and wisdom as learning resources, making science education more meaningful. This study aims to analyze the implementation of an ethnoscience-based learning approach to assist teachers in improving the quality of science education in elementary schools in accordance with students' needs. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 4 elementary schools in Golewa Subdistrict, Ngada Regency. Data collection methods included interviews, document analysis, literature review, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following conclusions were drawn: The implementation of ethnoscience-based learning in science education has not been fully adopted by teachers in the 4 schools due to limited access to reading materials, teaching modules, instructional media, and a lack of teacher training in ethnoscience-based instruction. There is insufficient policy support from both the government and schools. There is a lack of specific training programs for teachers on ethnoscience-based learning. 4) There are limited resources and minimal support from school policies. This study shows that the implementation of ethnoscience-based learning requires adequate skills and resources from teachers. Better support in the form of teacher training, provision of sufficient teaching tools and materials, and effective time management is essential to improve the quality of science learning in elementary schools in Golewa Subdistrict.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas praktik budaya numerasi “10 Menit Bersama” yang diterapkan di SDK Gurusina, sebuah sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Ngada, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kegiatan ini dilakukan setiap pagi sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, berupa pelafalan perkalian secara serempak selama 10 menit oleh seluruh siswa dari kelas I hingga VI, dengan metode yang disesuaikan menurut jenjang kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut serta menelaah dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan numerasi dasar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara, didukung dengan telaah literatur dari berbagai penelitian lima tahun terakhir. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap daya ingat siswa, kepercayaan diri, serta motivasi belajar matematika. Selain itu, pelibatan aktif guru dalam mendampingi siswa turut menciptakan interaksi sosial yang positif dan membentuk budaya belajar yang disiplin. Praktik ini relevan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai strategi numerasi yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The cultivation of a love for the homeland is an essential aspect of character education that should be instilled from an early age, particularly among elementary school students. SDK Rakalaba, as one of the elementary schools in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, has demonstrated tangible efforts in instilling the values of patriotism through national literacy activities that are part of the school culture. This study aims to describe the implementation of national literacy as a means of fostering a love for the homeland and to identify the forms of activities and their impacts on students. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that SDK Rakalaba consistently conducts various activities that reflect national literacy, such as habituating students to read books with themes of nationalism, singing the national anthem every morning, using the Indonesian language in teaching and learning activities, and organizing arts and cultural events rich in national values. Teachers and the school principal actively serve as facilitators and role models in creating a learning environment infused with a sense of nationalism. These activities have proven effective in fostering a sense of nationalism among students, such as pride in being Indonesian citizens, appreciating diversity, and demonstrating responsibility towards the school environment. Thus, the consistent cultivation of national literacy can be an effective strategy for developing a love for the homeland in elementary school settings

Abstract

Scientific literacy at Ngedukelu Elementary School is still relatively low. This low level of scientific literacy is influenced by various factors, including limited access to age-appropriate reading materials, a lack of content relevant to the local cultural context, and a learning approach that does not fully accommodate the characteristics and needs of students in this area. This study aims to determine the improvement of scientific literacy through the implementation of child-friendly reading materials based on ethnoscience. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Taggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data analysis was carried out using a scientific literacy test using indicators adapted from Khouidin et al. (2017). Data analysis was conducted quantitatively according to the characteristics of CAR. The results of the first cycle test showed that 3 students (23.08%) were in the low category, 7 students (53.85%) were in the medium category, and 3 students (23.08%) were in the high category. As a class, 10 students achieved a score of 70 or higher, with a completion percentage of 76.93%. The results of the science literacy test in Cycle II showed a more optimal improvement. Of the 13 students, only 1 (7.69%) was in the low category, 5 (38.46%) were in the medium category, and 7 (53.85%) were in the high category. The number of students achieving a score of 70 or higher increased to 12, with a classical completion percentage of 92.31%. Thus, it can be concluded that implementing child-friendly reading materials based on Ngada ethnoscience has been proven effective in improving the science literacy skills of fourth-grade students at Ngedukelu Elementary School.
