Abstract

Aims : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of administering beets and dates to pregnant women who have moderate anemia in terms of boosting their hemoglobin levels. Method : This research design employs a quasi-experimental study approach, which includes a pre-test and a post-test, as well as research instruments that make use of observation width and hydrogen bond level measuring equipment. It is the paired t-test that is utilized as the statistical test. Results : In the beetroot group, the results obtained were a mean pre test of 10.09 and a mean post test of 12.2 so it can be concluded that the mean difference is 1.3 (10.09- 12.2) and P value = 0.329 (P > α) so It can be concluded that the comparison of increasing hemoglobin levels in the beetroot group is more effective than the dates group for pregnant women in the third trimester at BPM Siti Hamidah Conclusion : Giving beetroot juice is more beneficial in boosting the HB levels of pregnant women with mild anemia, according to BPM Siti Hamidah.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the urgency of Guidance and Counseling in overcoming problems related to the spiritual and emotional intelligence of students at MAN 3 Langkat. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research location is MAN 3 Langkat. The sample population of this study amounted to 8 students selected by the counseling guidance teacher MAN 3 Langkat with certain provisions. These namely students need help with spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence at MAN 3 Langkat. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and verification and uses triangulation as a credibility test with source triangulation. From this research, it is concluded that the urgency of counseling in dealing with the problems of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence of students significantly influences students. The impact of delay in handling these problems Guidance and Counseling is feared that students will dissolve in these problems, and it is increasingly difficult to be guided. In contrast, if guidance and counseling have timeliness in handling it, it will positively impact students. This is evidenced by the behavior displayed by students, namely having awareness and commitment to worship and the ability to motivate themselves and control their emotions.

Abstract

Penelitian Efisiensi Ekonomi Sistem Usaha Tani Padi dilaksanakan pada Lahan Sawah Irigasi Teknis di Desa Bumi Rapak Kecamatan Kaubun. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil produksi padi sawah, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi sawah serta menganalisa efisiensi ekonominya.Hasil penelitian berupa data Cross Section (Penelitian satu periode), jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 63 petani padi pada lahan sawah irigasi teknis. Alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi dari fungsi Cobb-Douglass yang perhitungannnya menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS17. Efisiensi teknis dan efisiensi harga ditentukan melalui besaran koefisien regresi dari fungsi Cobb-Douglas dan untuk efisiensi ekonomi dapat dilihat dari hasil perkalian antara efisiensi teknis dan efisiensi harga. Jumlah hasil produksi gabah kering perhektar adalah 4058,44 kg/ha. Hubungan penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi dengan produksi padi sawah dinyatakan dalam model fungsi Cobb-Douglass: Y = 1,680 + (0,290LogX31 + 0,099LogX32 + 0,112LogX33) + 0,085LogX4 + 0,058LogX5 + 0,372LogX6. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Usaha tani padi sawah secara signifikan adalah pupuk (Urea, TSP, NPK), Pestisida dan Bibit sedangkan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi sawah. Nilai retrun to scale usaha tani padi sawah sebesar 1.016, hal ini berarti usaha pada kondisi constan retruns to scale. Hasil uji efisiensi harga bahwa untuk mendapatkan pendapatan maksimal penggunaan tenaga kerja perlu dikurangi sedangkan penggunaan pupuk (Urea, TSP, NPK), Pestisida dan Bibit perlu ditambah. Oleh karena itu untuk mencapai efisiensi ekonomi maka perlu penambahan pupuk (Urea, TSP, NPK), Pestisida dan Bibit serta mengurangi penggunaan tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahasa pentingnya literasi sains di era modern dan masih perlunya peningkatan pemahaman konsep sains siswa SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mendeskripsikan program literasi sains yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sains siswa SD. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di SD Negeri 1 Cibinong digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan menunjukkan program literasi sains yang meliputi membaca teks sains populer, diskusi ilmiah, eksperimen sederhana, dan kunjungan lapangan efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, terutama yang abstrak, serta menumbuhkan minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap sains. Batasan penelitian adalah fokus pada satu sekolah dan satu kelas. Disimpulkan bahwa program literasi sains terintegrasi efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sains siswa SD.

Abstract

Kajian model pembelajaran soft skills terintegrasi bertujuan untuk mengkaji model hipotetik dari pembelajaran soft skills siswa SMK Boga. Model dikembangkan berdasarkan kajian konsep-konsep soft skills dikaitkan dengan konteks pembelajarannya pada bidang tata boga. Soft-skills diidentifikasi dari kurikulum jasa boga kelompok produktif dan dieksplorasi dari dunia industri terkait. Kemudian soft skills dari hasil identifikasi ini diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan topik dan multi target. Implementasinya dalam pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan psikologi pemebelajaran eklektik antara behaviourisme, kognitvisme, konstruktivisme, dan humanisme. Rancangan model ini menekankan peran aktif siswa mulai dari merancang perilaku soft skills, mengkonstruk soft skills terintegrasi melalui pengalaman belajar berbasis manajemen kinerja, dan melakukan refleksi untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan. SOFT-SKILLS INTEGRATED LEARNING MODEL FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF HOME ECONOMICS EDUCATIONAbstractThis study of soft-skills integrated learning model was aimed at investigating a hypothetic model of learning for Vocational High School students of home economics education. The model was developed from concepts of soft-skills as well as the learning within the context of home economics education. The soft-skills were identified through out of the curriculum of vocation for food service program as well as through out demanded soft skills by industries partners. The identied soft skills then, integrated into the curriculum by using topics and muli-target approaches. This model is implemented by eclecitally combining among these four psychological approaches. This model design indeed encouraging students actively ranging from pre-determined soft skills to be achieved, constructing integrated soft skills through learning experience based on performance management, and reflecting for a sustainable improvement of student soft skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kekuatan dan kelemahan 9 soft skills mahasiswa PTB. Penelitian diskriptif ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi PTB dengan menggunakan kuesioner respon. Sampel penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa semester 6. Data dianalisis secara diskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan soft skills mahasiswa PTB secara berturut adalah: kemampuan untuk selalu belajar (72,89%), tanggung jawab (70,77%), kerja sama dalam tim (68,61%), komitmen (67,96%), kreativitas (67,25%), disiplin (64,79%), usaha keras mencapai sukses (62,68%), pemecahan masalah (55,87%), komunikasi (49,90%). Keadaan kelemahan soft skills secara berturut: komunikasi (50,10%), pemecahan masalah (44, 13%), usaha keras mencapai sukses (37,32%), disiplin (35,21%), kreativitas (32,75%), komitmen (32,04%), kerjasama dalam tim (31,39%), tanggung jawab (29,23%), kemampuan untuk selalu belajar (27,11%). Dapat dinyatakan bahwa keadaan profil soft skills tersebut merupakan hasil pengasuhan soft skills melalui pola pembelajaran model terpisah, terintegarsi dan komplementatif. SOFT SKILLS PROFILE OF PTB STUDENT FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, UNIVERSITY OF STATE YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aimed to obtain a picture of the strengths and weaknesses of nine soft skills in students PTB. This descriptive study carried out at PTB Program using a questionnaire response. The research sample is all students semester 6. Data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Research results indicate that the strength of soft skills PTB students respectively are: ability to always learn (72.89%), responsibility (70.77%), work together in teams (68.61%), commitment (67.96%), creativity (67.25%), discipline (64 , 79%), efforts to achieve success (62.68%), problem solving (55.87%), communication (49.90%). The state of weakness successive soft skills: communication (50.10%), problem solving (44, 13%), efforts to achieve success (37.32%), discipline (35.21%), creativity (32.75%), commitment (32.04% ), cooperation in teams (31.39%), responsibility (29.23%), the ability to constantly learn (27.11%). It can be stated that the description of the profile soft skills, is, the nurturing soft skills through learning patterns, with a separate model, integration, and komplementatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) memperoleh gambaran tentang self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan minat berwirausaha pada siswa SMK Jasa Boga; 2) mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa SMK Jasa Boga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMK kelas XII Kompetensi Keahlian Jasa Boga se kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. 1) Self-efficacy siswa sangat tinggi (mean 50,22); lingkungan keluarga siswa tinggi (mean 43,93); lingkungan sekolah tinggi (mean 44,72); dan minat berwirausaha siswa sangat tinggi (mean 47,25). 2) Terdapat pengaruh self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha. Sumbangan efektif ketiga variabel bebas secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikatnya sebesar 39,35%. Kata Kunci: Self-Efficacy, Lingkungan Keluarga, Lingkungan Sekolah, Minat Berwirausaha THE EFFECTS OF SELF-EFFICACY, FAMILY ENVIRONMENT, AND SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT ON THE ENTREPRENEURIAL INTEREST OF THE CULINARY SERVICE DEPARTMENT STUDENTS AT VHSSAbstractThis study aims to: 1) describe self-efficacy, family environment, school environment, and entrepreneurial interest of students of the Culinary Service Department at vocational high schools (VHSs); and 2) investigate the effect of self-efficacy, family environment, school environment, both individually and as an aggregate on the entrepreneurial interest of grade XII students of the Culinary Service Department at VHSs. This was an ex post facto study. The research population comprised Grade XII students of the Culinary Service Department at VHSs in Yogyakarta. The sample, was selected by means of the proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive technique, simple linear regression, and multiple regression. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The students' self-efficacy is very high (mean 50.22), their family environment is high (mean 43.93), their school environment is high (mean 44.72), and their entrepreneurial interest is very high (mean 47.25). 2) There is a significant positive effect of self-efficacy, family environment ,school environment both individually and as an aggregate on the entrepreneurial interest. The effective contribution of the three independent variables as an aggregate to the dependent variable is 39.35%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) upaya meningkatkan kompetensi membuat garnish, (2) peningkatan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus tindakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes tulis, tes kinerja dan analisa data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan (1) untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran menggunakan media sosial yang terdiri dari Facebook, google, dan Youtube; (2) Ketercapaian secara umum pada siklus I dengan kategori baik dan siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik. Ketercapaian tersebut terdiri dari: (a) ranah sikap pada pembelajaran di luar kelas rata-rata mencapai kategori sangat baik, sedangkan ranah sikap siswa pada pembelajaran di dalam kelas rata-rata mencapai kategori sangat baik; (b) ranah pengetahuan mencapai kategori sangat baik; (c) ranah keterampilan mencapai sangat baik. IMPROVING COMPETENCIES OF MAKING GARNISHES ON BASIC CULLINARY THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA USAGEAbstractThis study aim to know: (1) the effort of improving students' competencies in making garnishes of food and beverages , (2) the improvement students' competencies that were consist of: affective, cognitive, and psicomotoric. This study was a classroom action research that was conducted on two cyclesThe data collection techniques included observations, written tests, and performance test. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result of the study indicates that (1) to improve the learning used the social media that consist of Facebook, google, dan Youtube; (2) generality, the attainment of students' competencies in cycle I on good category and in cycle II on very good category. The attainments were as follow: (a) the attainment of affective aspect in outside classroom average on very good category; The attainment of affective aspect in the average on very good category; (b) the attainment of cognitive aspect on very good category; (c) the attainment of psychomotoric aspect was on very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam menyiapkan dan menyajikan minuman nonalkohol di SMK Negeri 2 Godean melalui metode demonstrasi secara kolaborasi dengan tenaga ahli dari dunia industri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini melalui tiga siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu:(1) tahap perencanaan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan pengamatan, dan (3) tahap evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMK Negeri 2 Godean kelas XII Boga 2 sebanyak 35 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan tes tertulis maupun tes kinerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode demonstrasi secara kolaborasi dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam menyiapkan dan menyajikan minuman nonalkohol. IMPROVING STUDENTS COMPETENCIES IN PREPARING AND SERVING NONALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE THROUGH THE DEMONSTRATION METHODAbstractThis study aims to improve students' competencies in preparing and serving nonalcoholic beverages through the demonstration method in SMK Negeri 2 Godean. The study was conducted in three cycles, each of which consisted of three phases, namely (1) planning, (2) learning implementation and observation, and (3) evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were Grade XII students of Gastronomy 2 in SMK Negeri 2 Godean with a total of 35 students. The data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets and tests. The data collection techniques included observations and written and performance tests. The data were descriptively analyzed. The results of the study show that the demonstration method with collaboration is capable of improving students' competencies in preparing and serving nonalcoholic beverages.

Abstract

The ability to think critically has become a demand in the 21st century. This paper describes how culinary arts students' soft skills ownership profile after participating in online learning through the communication media application used. This study is survey research, processed by quantitative description. The research subjects were the culinary arts study program students with diploma 4 and bachelor's degrees, Department of Food and Clothing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The population of this study is all students who are part of ongoing online learning. Samples were taken at simple random. The data collection technique used a questionnaire via google form; the goal was affordability from the aspect of place and time. The study focuses on mastering soft skills in learning and innovation skills, especially critical thinking and problem-solving. The survey results show that Catering lecturers widely use online media, such as the Google Meet application, Google Classroom, and Be-Smart. More than half of the soft skills profiles displayed by culinary arts students show critical thinking behaviors (61%). The behavior of critical thinking soft skills that is quite prominent is the ability to think rationally, consider well to solve problems and be able to make creative solutions to tasks found during learning. Online learning implies that it is necessary to increase human resources, especially lecturers, in optimizing online media applications. Students need support in the form of triggers and the preparation of learning tools that can awaken critical thinking skills.
