Abstract

In the world of education, science learning is less effective if it is only done by rote memorization or passively listening to the teacher explain. In science learning activities, there must be a scientific process, producing scientific products by carrying out trials/experiments and forming students' scientific attitudes. The purpose of this research and development is to create Flashcard media by utilizing peer teaching strategies on material on the influence of heat on temperature and shape of objects, which is included in the valid category, which is approved by material experts, media experts, and teachers as users, and is practical and effective when used with science learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The research was carried out in trials at SDN 2 Plosokerep and testing at SDN 1 Kepanjenlor with subjects as fourth grade students. Data was obtained based on the results of observations, interviews, questionnaires and test evaluations. The Flashcard media validity test obtained an average score of 94.1% in the very valid category. The practicality test got an average of 89.1% in the very practical category and the effectiveness test with an average of 81% in the effective category. With the conclusion that this research and development can produce Flashcard media that meets the categories of validity, practicality and effectiveness tests.

Abstract

The pre-service teacher professional education program is organized with the support of academic systems, administration, and learning facilities designed to optimally meet the needs of students. This study aims to evaluate the level of student satisfaction with the learning process, academic administration services, and supporting facilities in the implementation of pre-service teacher professional education program. The method used was a quantitative descriptive survey involving 402 respondents. The instrument in the form of an online questionnaire was developed in an internal information system that contained 10 questions and one comment column. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative and thematic manner. The results showed that the learning aspect obtained a very high level of satisfaction, especially in the ability of lecturers to convey material and guide practice. Administrative services are considered efficient, but students propose improvements in the clarity of schedules and coordination between parties. Learning facilities including classrooms and technology access were considered adequate, although some records suggested technical improvements and the addition of supporting facilities. These findings underline that the quality of learning, service effectiveness, and availability of facilities need to be seen as a complementary unit in supporting the quality of pre-service teacher professional education program implementation. Students' perceptions of these three aspects provide a valuable reflective foundation in the process of evaluating and formulating program management policies in a sustainable manner. This study recommends the development of advanced information systems that are relevant to quality assurance mechanisms in a structured and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This article is the result of a review of the book "Al-Islam Wa Ushul Al-Hukm" by 'Ali Abd al-Raziq, which offers an in-depth analysis of the relationship between politics and religion, especially regarding the concept of the caliphate in Islam. 'Ali Abd al-Raziq argues that the caliphate is not mandatory in Islam and that Islamic law can be interpreted flexibly according to the context of time and place, without being tied to the traditional caliphate system. This book highlights al-Raziq's view that the Prophet Muhammad was more of a spiritual leader than a head of state in the modern sense, so that Muslims were free to choose a form of government that suited their social and political needs, including a model that separated religion from state affairs. This view approaches the principle of secularism in Western legal theory, which advocates a separation between religious and state institutions. Although al-Raziq's views were controversial, especially among traditional ulama, he opened a new discourse about flexibility in the application of Islamic principles in modern governance. The book emphasizes that the primary goals of government are social justice and the welfare of the people, values ??that are in line with Western legal theory. This view shows that although the methods and sources of law are different, these two approaches both try to achieve a just and prosperous society.

Abstract

Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk membahas fenomena berbagi kegiatan berbagi ta’jil saat Ramadan di Indonesia, studi ilmu ma’anil hadis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis kualitatif yang menerapkan studi pustaka literatur dengan menerapkan metode hadis maudhu’i perspektif budaya dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini mencakup fenomena berbagi ta’jil saat Ramadan di Indonesia, ma’anil hadis berbagi takjil saat Ramadan, serta keutamaan dan manfaat berbagi ta’jil. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya fenomena berbagi takjil saat Ramadan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia berdampak positif bagi masyarakat yang menerima ta’jil dan memiliki banyak keutamaan serta manfaat untuk pemberi ta’jil baik dalam hubungan hablumminannas (hubungan dengan sesama manusia) maupun dengan habumminallah (hubungan makhluk dengan sang pencipta). Sosialisasi ini merekomendasikan agar dapat menyempurnakan pengabdian yang sederhana ini dan disarankan kepada seluruh umat Islam agar terus melestarikan fenomena  berbagi ta’jil karena terdapat banyak manfaat serta keutamaan.

Abstract

The application of learning media in the learning process is very important. Teachers are required to create an interesting and interactive learning atmosphere, one of which is by using technology-based learning media. One learning media that can be used is the GOSKI application (Google Sites Geological Conditions of Indonesia). The aim of this research is to determine students' responses to the implementation of the GOSKI application in social studies learning at SMPN 10 Malang. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis that was distributed to students, a percentage of 86% was obtained, which shows a positive response from students towards the application of GOSKI learning media. This shows that the GOSKI application is suitable for use in the learning process. A follow-up recommendation from this research is to examine the application of GOSKI learning media combined with game-based learning.

Abstract

Through the implementation of the Aswaja learning model in schools, this community service aims to develop Muslims with religious-nationalist personalities.It was carried out in three phases of activities, namely education & outreach, implementation & strengthening and intensive mentoring from March to May 2021 at SMP Darul Faqih Indonesia, Malang Regency. The results of the activity assessment showed a change in Aswaja's attitudes and practices in fostering religious-nationalist values in students. This also has implications for strengthening religious moderation in the school environment. The results of the correlation test of students' attitudes and practices showed a score (R-square: P-value) of 0.126: 0.000, which indicates that this activity has a significant impact. The implementation of the Aswaja learning model is aimed at providing a balanced understanding of religion and nationalism. Strengthening the understanding of religious moderation with a nationalism - religious spirit will be an important ingredient in the development of peace culture education-based schools in Indonesia

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba menjelaskan program edukasi sekolah berbasis peace education (PE) yang diprakarsai oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang dengan mitra majelis Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) Sub Rayon 33 Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Secara rinci, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai perdamaian dan semangat hidup berdampingan antar umat beragama, khususnya diantara sekolah yang beragam corak keagamaanya di Kecamatan Wagir. Program edukasi berbasis PE dilaksanakan melalui rangkaian kegiatan seminar, focus group discussion (FGD), hingga pelaksanaan langsung kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Program ini dilakukan dalam dua sesi utama, yakni kegiatan seminar dengan pembahasan tentang moderasi beragama dan FGD dengan fokus pada implementasinya. Dari kegiatan ini, dihasilkan sejumlah poin penting yang dapat dilakukan di sekolah dan kelas yakni membangun atmosfer atau budaya sekolah yang mendukung dengan mengapresiasi budaya yang berbeda, melakukan resolusi konflik, mendorong  partisipasi aktif dan kolaboratif, membangun sikap toleransi, dan membuat nilai-nilai agama menjadi pegangan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa dalam menjalankan tugas di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan pemikiran politik Islam dalam sejarah dan praksisnya, dengan fokus pada empat dimensi utama. Pertama, Historiografi Perkembangan Pemikiran Politik Dalam Lintasan Sejarah Islam mengkaji bagaimana pemikiran politik Islam berkembang dari masa klasik hingga modern, dimulai dari konsep-konsep politik pada era Khulafaur Rasyidin hingga periode kontemporer. Kedua, dalam pembahasan Relasi Agama dan Negara (din wa daulah), penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara ajaran Islam dan institusi negara, dengan menyoroti pandangan para pemikir politik Islam tentang peran agama dalam tata kelola pemerintahan. Ketiga, Problematika Legislasi dan Formasi Syariat Islam menyoroti tantangan dalam penerapan hukum syariat dalam sistem politik modern, serta debat seputar relevansi syariat dalam konteks negara bangsa. Terakhir, dalam pembahasan Demokrasi dalam Praktik Politik Islam, penelitian ini akan melihat sejauh mana konsep demokrasi dapat diadaptasi dalam kerangka politik Islam, dengan mengkaji implementasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam praktik pemerintahan di negara-negara Muslim. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan perspektif yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana pemikiran politik Islam beradaptasi dan bertransformasi seiring berjalannya waktu, serta bagaimana berbagai permasalahan dalam tata kelola negara dapat diatasi dengan perspektif Islam AbstractThis study aims to analyze the development of Islamic political thought in history and practice, focusing on four main dimensions. First, Historiography of the Development of Political Thought in the Trajectory of Islamic History examines how Islamic political thought developed from classical to modern times, starting from political concepts in the era of the Khulafaur Rasyidin to the contemporary period. Second, in the discussion of the Relationship between Religion and State (din wa daulah), this study explores the relationship between Islamic teachings and state institutions, by highlighting the views of Islamic political thinkers on the role of religion in governance. Third, Problematics of Legislation and the Formation of Islamic Sharia highlights the challenges in implementing sharia law in modern political systems, as well as debates around the relevance of sharia in the context of nation states. Abstract

Trans culture is a cross-cultural condition which can develop or survive within the life of a community. Religion and culture as the pillars for unity in the cross-cultural era can potentially develop into liberalism. This study aims to reveal the process of religious and cultural liberalism along with the solutions. It uses a qualitative-analysis method with hermeneutic approach based on the thoughts of the figures of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in East Java. To collect the data, the researchers conduct in-depth interviews and data analysis of the works and news on religious and cultural liberalism. The study discovers the dialectic model of religious liberalism by making human rights the main source of law, which is called theological-capitalism. Besides, it finds cultural liberalism in the form of an identity crisis, which is called enculturation-liberalism. To overcome the religious liberalism, we can use clarification techniques and logical-systematic thinking. Meanwhile, the solution to deal with cultural liberalism is through cultural realism and socio-cultural learning. Transkultural adalah kondisi lintas kebudayaan yang dapat berkembang atau bertahan di kehidupan masyarakat. Agama dan budaya sebagai pilar persatuan yang dalam era lintas kebudayaan berpotensi berkembang pada paham liberal. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkap proses liberalisme agama dan budaya yang disertai solusi dalam menangkalnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-analisis dengan pendekatan hermeneutik berdasarkan pemikiran tokoh Ulama’ NU Jawa Timur. Dalam menggali data, dilakukan interviu mendalam serta analisis data dokumentatif karya dan berita liberalisme agama dan budaya. Hasil penelitian ditemukan model dialektika liberalisme agama dengan menjadikan Hak Asasi Manusia sebagai sumber hukum utama disebut teologis-kapitalistik, sedangkan dialektika liberalisme budaya dalam bentuk krisis identitas disebut enkulturasi-liberalistik. Solusi dalam menaggulangi liberalisme agama dengan menggunakan teknik klarifikasi dan berfikir logis-sistematis. Sedangkan solusi menghadapi liberalisme budaya melalui realisme culture dan socio-culture learning.

Abstract

Ibadah haji menuntut kesiapan holistik yang seringkali tidak terakomodasi oleh bimbingan konvensional yang hanya berfokus pada aspek ritual, sehingga menciptakan kesenjangan antara pemahaman teori dan kesiapan praktik di lapangan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan sebuah model bimbingan haji terpadu untuk membangun kesiapan yang komprehensif bagi 46 calon jamaah haji dari lingkungan Universitas Negeri Malang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, program ini dirancang dengan alur sistematis dalam enam tahapan fundamental: pra-manasik, manasik teoretis dan personal melalui kunjungan ke rumah, praktik lapangan melalui simulasi yang detail dan realistis, prosesi pemberangkatan, pendampingan penuh di Tanah Suci, hingga penjemputan kembali ke tanah air. Hasil kegiatan yang dievaluasi secara kualitatif menunjukkan keberhasilan yang signifikan, ditandai oleh partisipasi dan antusiasme jamaah yang sangat tinggi. Peningkatan pemahaman fikih dan keterampilan praktik manasik terbukti secara nyata selama sesi simulasi. Selain itu, pendekatan personal berhasil membentuk ukhuwah dan solidaritas yang kuat di antara jamaah, yang menjadi modal sosial krusial selama perjalanan ibadah. Model bimbingan holistik yang mencakup pendampingan dari hulu ke hilir ini terbukti sangat efektif dalam membentuk jamaah yang mandiri, percaya diri, dan siap secara spiritual, fisik, maupun mental. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil membina jamaah, tetapi juga menawarkan sebuah standar acuan (best practice) bagi kelompok bimbingan lain, khususnya yang berbasis di perguruan tinggi.
