Abstract

Organizational resilience is a process carried out by organizational leaders in overcoming difficult situations by issuing appropriate policies and mobilizing all components of the organization and reformulating concrete positive steps in a short time so that the organization does not experience shocks and the organization's operational activities can run as they should. Educational institutions managed by the community as educational organizations face extraordinary challenges in the competition to survive and the slow pace of development due to educational policies. Therefore, research is needed to obtain information on variables related to increasing organizational resilience. This study aims to find strategies, methods and optimal solutions to increase organizational resilience through knowledge management, adversity intelligence and work motivation. This study uses a survey method with path analysis and the SITOREM method to analyze key indicators. Using smart PLS analysis to obtain the magnitude of the influence between the variables of knowledge management, adversity intelligence and work motivation on organizational resilience. Using SITOREM analysis, an optimal solution is obtained for increasing organizational resilience. This study provides recommendations for increasing organizational resilience that can be used as a reference for strategic decision making for school principals, the Education Office and the Ministry of Education.

Abstract

This study employs a mixed-methods sequential exploratory approach using the POP-SDM (Modeling and Optimization of Human Resource Management Strengthening) method to improve teacher performance as a key determinant of educational quality in vocational education. The research population consists of all civil servant teachers working at Centers of Excellence Vocational High Schools in Banten Province, Indonesia. A sample of 254 teachers from 28 schools was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through document analysis, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key performance indicators, while quantitative data were analyzed using path analysis and POP-SDM optimization analysis to test the constellation model and research hypotheses. The findings indicate that optimal strategies for improving teacher performance involve maintaining strong performance indicators while systematically strengthening weaker ones. Priority improvement areas include knowledge acquisition, knowledge processing, knowledge distribution, communication ethics, and work quantity. This study contributes a data-driven and systematic framework for enhancing teacher performance, particularly in vocational education contexts aligned with industry needs.

Abstract

The digital transformation of vocational education demands that school principals possess high levels of managerial effectiveness; however, the gap between expectations and reality remains a significant challenge. This study aims to examine the influence of digital leadership and data literacy on managerial effectiveness, both directly and indirectly, through work motivation. Employing a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design, the study involved 206 teachers from 19 private vocational high schools (SMK PGRI) in Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using a validated 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that: (1) digital leadership has a positive and significant direct effect on managerial effectiveness (β = 0.291; p < 0.001); (2) data literacy has a positive and significant direct effect on managerial effectiveness (β = 0.174; p = 0.010); and (3) work motivation significantly mediates the effects of digital leadership (indirect effect = 0.065; p = 0.021) and data literacy (indirect effect = 0.036; p = 0.046) on managerial effectiveness. These findings confirm that enhancing managerial effectiveness is optimally achieved through simultaneously strengthening digital competencies and work motivation.

Abstract

This study investigates the structural determinants of Clinical Instructor (CI) service quality in Indonesian healthcare education through an integrated mixed-methods design grounded in the POP-SDM (Pemodelan dan Optimasi Penguatan Sumber Daya Manajemen) framework. The research model positions knowledge management (X1) as the exogenous variable, professional commitment (X2), work motivation (X3), and interpersonal communication (X4) as intervening variables, and CI service quality (Y) as the endogenous variable. Employing a sequential exploratory design, qualitative inquiry (12 informants across 30 healthcare clinics in Bekasi City) was first used to identify and validate the causal constellation, followed by quantitative path analysis with a sample of 144 clinical instructors drawn via proportional random sampling. Instruments were based on SERVQUAL (service quality), and validated theoretical frameworks for each independent variable, all measured on five-point Likert scales. Data were analyzed using SPSS v.29 with prerequisite tests for normality, homogeneity, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Results confirmed ten significant hypotheses: all four variables exert direct positive effects on CI service quality—interpersonal communication (β = 0.234), work motivation (β = 0.212), knowledge management (β = 0.208), and professional commitment (β = 0.195). Knowledge management exerts strong direct effects on all three intervening variables: interpersonal communication (β = 0.771), work motivation (β = 0.737), and professional commitment (β = 0.655). Three significant indirect paths from knowledge management to service quality were confirmed via Sobel test, with interpersonal communication yielding the strongest indirect effect (β = 0.163), followed by work motivation (β = 0.144) and professional commitment (β = 0.136). However, all three intervening variables function as partial rather than full mediators, since direct effects exceed indirect effects. SITOREM analysis identified 18 priority indicators for improvement across all variables. Findings provide a validated causal model with actionable optimization recommendations for clinical education policy and practice in Indonesia.
