Abstract

The recent increase in the number of construction accidents, whether caused by process errors or circumstances beyond human control, leaves problems related to the quality and responsibility of providers and users. Aspects of the responsibility of Service Providers need to be emphasized and the regulations must provide guarantees of legal certainty. This thesis focuses on a implementations of RKK Documents created by Service Providers when bidding for construction work. Problems in the research include how to implement and monitor the RKK Document on works of “Penanganan Lereng Ruas Tambu-Tompe-Pantoloan” and what is the form of the Service Provider's legal responsibility if a construction accident occurs. The research sample is works of “Penanganan Lereng Ruas Tambu-Tompe-Pantoloan”, the project which is carried out by PT. Anugerah Karya Agra Sentosa. The party that is the service user for this project is BPJN Sulteng Ministry of PUPR. The method used in this research is juridical-empirical, which focuses on collecting empirical data in the field. The theories used in this research are the theory of legal certainty, the theory of legal awareness, and the theory of legal effectiveness. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from interviews with several parties, including the Directorate of Construction Sustainability of the Ministry of PUPR and Commitment Making Officials (PPK). Meanwhile, secondary legal material in this research includes regulations related to K4 and SMKK standards, the main ones are the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 2 of 2017 concerning Construction Services, and PUPR Ministerial Regulation Number 10 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Construction Safety Management Systems . The research results show that in the application of the RKK document to the work on handling the slopes of the Tambu-Tompe-Pantoloan section, there are several discrepancies. Firstly, the Service Provider was proven to have used substitute workers who did not have competence in the form of a Work Competency Certificate, which caused construction accidents. Second, the Service Provider does not comply with Standard Operating Procedures when replacing Occupational Safety Experts.

Abstract

Abstract

Advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have changed the paradigm in various sectors of life, including education, health services, government and the economy. In the ever-evolving digital era, digitalization has become a significant global trend, influencing the way we communicate and interact, including in villages. Villages, as legal community entities with unique characteristics, are the center of attention in digital transformation in Indonesia. However, to measure the level of success of digitalization in villages, an index is needed that can provide an objective picture. In this context, the Digital Village Index (DVI) exists as an evaluation tool that allows the government and stakeholders to identify areas that require improvement and plan more effective development strategies. The Damai Village case study uses a Design Science approach to develop a comprehensive and relevant DVI, with the hope of formulating appropriate strategies to accelerate the digitalization process in the village, according to local characteristics and needs.

Abstract

Language is a tool used for communication. Indonesia has a variety of languages, one of which is the Buginese language. As a language whose level of speakers exceeds five million, the popularity of this language begins to fade and is rarely used over the times. The Buginese language has its own letter called Lontara which consists of 23 letters. In addition to learning it difficult, educational media to learn this language, especially how to write letters is rarely developed. Learning this language is mandatory for formal school students ranging from elementary school to high school. However, a number of teachers noticed that Lontara writing lessons were very difficult for students to understand. Because of the difficulty level of writing, this research was conducted to answer and overcome these problems by developing an educational media called Lontara Augmented Reality. The research and development method (RnD) was utilized as the method in this study and it collaborates with ASSURE as the media development model. ASSURE model is used in the media design process. This media has an embedded learning model which called think-pair-share. The presence of this learninf model aims to enhance user skill in learning due to it provides learning with pair features. Abstract

Overall, this study aims to assess college students' field-dependent metacognitive skills in mathematics problem-solving. We administered the Group Embedded Figures and Mathematical Ability Tests to 35 future educators from a private school in Sukoharjo, Indonesia. Students' questioning of each group served to gauge their proficiency in solving problems, as shown in the results. Participants also demonstrated partially achieved metacognitive abilities, as measured by the (metacognitive) skills criterion, which encompassed tasks such as planning, monitoring, assessing, and predicting. First, the participants documented and explained the facts given in the question. Second, they checked the results against the plan. Third, they evaluated the success of the objectives by analyzing the results to make sure everything went according to plan. Finally, they predicted and stated the results of the problem-solving process. In light of these findings, researchers and teachers facing comparable obstacles would do well to delve deeper into the function of metacognitive abilities in problem-solving.
