Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as its implementation in Muslim families. ECE focuses not only on cognitive aspects but also on moral education, faith, and worship. Through the habituation of Islamic values, good role models from parents, and positive communication, holistic education can be achieved. This study also identifies the challenges of modernization that may threaten Islamic ECE values and offers solutions to address these challenges. By integrating formal and informal educational approaches, it is hoped that future generations will grow into individuals with noble character and faith. The conclusion of this article emphasizes that the role of parents as primary educators is crucial in shaping children's character in accordance with Islamic teachings.Keywords: Early Childhood Education; Qur'an and Hadith; Islamic Values.

Abstract

Pendidikan secara sederhana dikatakan sebagai sebuah proses “memanusiakan manusia”, Abdurrahman Shalih (t.th;47) mengatakan “man is the core of the educational process”, bahwa manusia adalah inti dari sebuah proses pendidikan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa manusia adalah obyek dan sekaligus pelaku pendidikan. Sebab itu sejauh mana pendidikan itu diformulasikan dan diimplementasikan harus selalu disandarkan pada konsepsi tentang hakekat manusia. Merumuskan dan mengembangkan tujuan pendidikan, materi pendidikan, metode, kurikulum, evaluasi pendidikan, dan seterusnya harus selalu dikonsultasikan pada filsafat dan pemahaman tentang hakekat manusia itu sendiri. Pembahasan ini berusaha memahami hakekat manusia sebagai sebuah kajian ontologi Pendidikan Islam. Ada beberapa hal yang dikaji dalam tulisan ini yaitu; 1) pemahaman tentang hakekat manusia; 2) proses kejadian manusia; 3) potensi-potensi dasar manusia; 4) tugas dan fungsi penciptaan manusia; serta 5) implikasinya dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai permasalahan yang muncul dalam praktek pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada kendala yang dihadapi oleh pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan utama dalam praktek pendidikan meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya dukungan dari pihak manajemen sekolah, dan tantangan dalam penerapan kurikulum yang relevan dan kontekstual. Selain itu, ditemukan juga bahwa masalah komunikasi antara pendidik dan peserta didik serta metode pengajaran yang kurang variatif turut menjadi faktor yang menghambat proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyarankan adanya peningkatan pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional bagi pendidik, perbaikan infrastruktur pendidikan, serta implementasi strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Dengan mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan ini, diharapkan kualitas pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan secara signifikan.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that elementary school students' sight reading skills are still not optimal. The reason is that in skim reading skills, students are less motivated to read the text, students have difficulty understanding the content of the text, and students have difficulty in concluding the content of the text. Students' lack of motivation in sight reading is one of the factors that causes students' sight reading skills to not be optimal. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the SQ4R) strategy on students' skim reading skills in elementary schools. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study were elementary school students with the sampling technique being random sampling. Data obtained with the final test were analyzed using the t test. The results of the research using normality and homogeneity tests on both data were normally and homogeneously distributed. Next, a hypothesis test was carried out with the t-test showing tcount= 3.731 and ttable= 1.688 with df= 38 (n1 + n2 – 2 = 19+19-2=36) and a significance level of 5%. Based on testing tcount ttable (3,731 1,688), H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with the conclusion that there is an influence of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review (SQ4R) strategy on students' short- online reading skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Jalan Soekarno Hatta is a secondary collector road with 4 lanes 2 directions divided (4/2 D) as the main road to the trading center of the City of Bukittinggi. Based on the initial observations made, it can be seen that vehicles passing through this road are quite busy, and there are often traffic jams caused by the area being a market area and a shopping center which does not have sufficient parking space so that parking activities use a lot of the road body which causes narrowing. effective road width. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the performance of Jalan Soekarno Hatta in terms of traffic volume, capacity and level of service (LOS). While the method used is the 1997 MKJI method by collecting primary data, in the form of road geometric data, traffic volume and side barriers obtained directly at the research location, and secondary data, in the form of population data. Based on the research results, it was obtained that the maximum traffic volume occurred on the main survey, namely on Wednesday for both directions of 518.25 pcu/hour and 522.25 pcu/hour at 11.30 to 12.30 WIB and 11.00 to 12.00 WIB. As for the capacity, the same was obtained at 1148.82 pcu/hour for both directions. Then also the average top speed on the Soekarno Hatta Road section, namely motorbikes with a speed of 20.08 Km/hour in the direction of Janjang 40- Bypass and in the opposite direction from Bypass- Janjang 40 the highest speed is also motorbikes with a speed of 20.20 Km/hour. The side barriers on Jalan Soekarno Hatta are included in the very high side resistance (VH) class category. And in terms of the level of service, Jalan Soekarno Hatta is included in category C where for the classification of the road the flow is fairly smooth, the speed is still controlled, the V/C can still be tolerated. The recommended recommendation is to control the parking area for motorbike riders and provide a special place for city transport cars (angkot) to wait for passengers and install signs that prohibit stopping and signs prohibiting parking.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the essence of humanity and its connection to education in shaping character and civilization. The focus of the research is to understand how education can develop cognitive, emotional, social, and moral dimensions that contribute to building strong character and advancing civilization. The methodology used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review, analyzing educational theories and literature from various experts, such as Hattie (2022), Dweck (2022), and Freire (2020). The findings indicate that holistic education, which encompasses both cognitive and moral aspects, is crucial in shaping individuals who are not only intelligent but also responsible and ethical. The concepts of growth mindset, character education, as well as social awareness and inclusivity play key roles in forming individuals who are ready to face the challenges of the era. Integrative education, which includes digital literacy and respect for diversity, has also proven to prepare individuals to contribute to social improvement and the development of civilization. This study concludes that education that emphasizes the development of character and moral values will shape individuals who are more adaptable and capable of building a better society.

Abstract

This type of research is development research (R&D) using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects of the study were 3 experts (media experts, material experts, and language experts), 3 teachers, and fifth grade students at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun, SDN 24 Ujung Gurun, and SDN 05 Padang Pasir. The validation results showed a validity level of 93.75% from media experts, 88.63% from material experts, and 90.6% from language experts, all of which were included in the "very valid" category. Based on the results of teacher and student responses, it is known that the percentage of practicality of learning media at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun reached 92.15% student responses and 95.8% teacher responses, at SDN 24 Ujung Gurun 95.35% student responses and 91.6% teachers, and at SDN 05 Padang Pasir 87.5% students and 95.5% teachers. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test showed an N-Gain value of 0.8054 at SDN 05 Padang Pasir and 0.7825 at SDN 24 Ujung Gurun, including the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the diagnostic assessment based on i spring suite has been valid, practical, and effective for use in Pancasila learning for grade V elementary school

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesan pembangunan pariwisata terhadap ekonomi masyarakat Danau Talang, Kecamatan Danau Kembar, Kabupaten Solok.  Penelitian jenis ini ialah kajian lapangan, yaitu turun terus ke lapangan dengan kaedah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data temu bual dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pengumpulan data, pengurangan data, persembahan data dan membuat kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya pengembangan pariwisata tersebut sudah membuka peluang usaha untuk masyarakat menambah pendapatan. Manfaat penelitian bagi penulis menambah wawasan ilmu pengetahuan tentang dampak pariwisata terhadap perekonomian warga, bagi masyarakat untuk menambah pendapatan dari kerja sampingan terhadap pengembangan pariwisata.

Abstract

Madrasah in Indonesia faces opportunities and challenges in keeping up with current developments to achieve quality education. The independent learning curriculum is the latest development in education in Indonesia. This curriculum carries the concept of flexibility, giving teachers freedom in choosing learning methods and materials. This research analyzes problems in applying the independent learning curriculum to Islamic education in Madrasah. This research method uses literature or library research with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques involve information sources from various relevant literature and documents. This research shows that the independent learning curriculum can provide students with a deep and comprehensive learning experience if implemented comprehensively in Madrasah. However, several problems arise when implementing the curriculum. Issues such as the readiness of teachers and staff, the quality and consistency of Islamic education, and adequate resources are the main problems among the many problems in implementing the independent curriculum for Islamic madrasah education. In overcoming this problem, there is a need for additional training for teachers and staff, the development of curriculum consistency guidelines, and an emphasis on the continuation of quality Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di lapangan serta analisis tingkat kognitif soal pada materi ajar utama di SMA Negeri 14 Padang. Temuan dari observasi menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan abad 21 siswa kelas X masih berada pada tingkat rendah dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 51,8%. Sementara itu, analisis tingkat kognitif soal mengindikasikan bahwa ketersediaan soal yang ada belum dapat meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 siswa. Selain itu, dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik siswa kelas X yang berada pada tahap perkembangan kognitif akhir dan masa transisi dari SMP ke SMA, mereka dituntut untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial dan tantangan baru yang dihadapi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan model Treffinger dan untuk menilai validitas modul tersebut dalam rangka meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang diterapkan adalah model 4D, yang mencakup tahap define, tahap design, tahap develop, dan tahap disseminate. Hasil validitas modul pembelajaran fisika menunjukkan bahwa validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase 77,5% dengan kategori valid, validasi dari ahli media mencapai 86,5% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan validasi dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan hasil 83,6% dengan kategori valid. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran fisika yang menggunakan model Treffinger untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 termasuk dalam kategori valid.
