Abstract

This research aims to explore the improvement of concept understanding through the implementation of the 3D Hologram Mica learning media in the teaching of Natural Sciences for 5th-grade elementary school students. The research method used was classroom action research involving one experimental class using the 3D Hologram Mica learning media and one control class using conventional teaching methods. The population of this research consisted of 5th-grade students in an elementary school in an urban area. The research sample consisted of 18 randomly selected students divided into two groups. Data were collected through concept understanding tests before and after the implementation of the 3D Hologram Mica learning media, as well as classroom observations and interviews with the teacher. The results of the research show that the implementation of the 3D Hologram Mica learning media significantly improves students' learning outcomes. There is a significant increase in the average scores of students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the 3D Hologram Mica learning media compared to the previous scores. The average score obtained in the pre-cycle activities was 69.3 with a class mastery level of 38%. Then, an action was taken by implementing the Mica Hologram 3D learning media in the second cycle phase, and an average score of 76 was obtained with a class mastery level of 55%. As it did not reach the minimum mastery level of 80%, the research proceeded to the second cycle action, and the average score obtained was 86 with a class mastery level of 88%. With these results, the action was stopped in the second cycle, showing a learning mastery improvement of 17% from pre-cycle to cycle I, and 33% from cycle I to cycle II. In addition, classroom observations and interviews with the teacher revealed positive responses from students toward the use of this learning media, which involved engaging three-dimensional visualization. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the 3D Hologram Mica learning media in teaching Natural Sciences to 5th-grade elementary school students is effective in improving concept understanding. It is recommended for teachers and other schools to consider the use of this innovative learning media as a teaching aid that can enhance learning outcomes and the quality of Natural Sciences education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Math lessons, especially fractions, often pose difficulties for some students at the primary school level. Various learning methods and media are needed to overcome these challenges. One of the interesting learning media is the Tetris puzzle model. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Tetris fraction puzzle media in improving the math learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDIT Bina Cendekia. This research uses a qualitative approach to accurately describe symptoms or phenomena. The subjects of this study were 25 fourth grade students of SDIT Bina Cendekia. The research took place during March 2023 and involved various data collection methods, including classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. Data were analyzed in a number of stages, including mapping, thematic analysis, and interpretation. The results showed that the use of Tetris fraction puzzle learning media significantly improved student achievement. Students who initially had difficulty understanding fraction math lessons admitted that it was easier to understand the teacher's explanation and do the assignments. During the summative test, the average student's fraction math score increased significantly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL, materi aritmatika tingkat XI. Eksperimen dilakukan pada Kota Tangerang Selatan di SMA Dharma Karya UT. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Dharma Karya UT Kota Tangerang Selatan Provinsi Banten. Penelitian di ujikan pada siswa tingkat XI. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE (Analyze-Design-Development-Implement-dan evaluate). Instrumen penelitin ini yaitu LKPD berbasis PBL pada barisan aritmatika dan deret aritmatika berupa soal berbasis masalah, lembar observasi, angket respon. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan analisis awal, validasi ahli, revisi, uji praktisi, uji coba skala kecil, dan uji coba skala besar. Hasil pengembangan LKPD menggunakan PBL untuk barisan dan deret aritmatika dengan kualitas valid, validitas seluruh butir soal tes 0,5 atau lebih, reliabilitas 0,85, tingkat kesukaran mudah atau sedang, dan baik untuk daya pembeda. Nilai rata-rata siswa mengerjakan LKPD adalah 95 (sangat baik). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pengembangan instrument LKPD berbasis PBL pada barisan dan deret aritmatika kelas XI yang valid dan reliabel.udul ‘Abstrak’ ditulis dengan huruf berukuran 10pt, huruf tebal dalam format Title Case. Abstrak harus memuat tujuan penelitian, metode, dan hasil penelitian. Teks abstrak ditulis dengan ukuran huruf 10pt, sepanjang maksimum 150 kata dalam satu paragraf. Teks abstrak terpisah dari tulisan utama. Abstrak ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia. Kata kunci ditulis di bawah teks abstrak dan dipisahkan oleh tanda titik koma. Kata kunci harus mencerminkan konsep yang dikandung artikel untuk memudahkan akses artikel yang bersangkutan dalam mesin pencari. Judul ‘kata kunci’ ditulis dengan format font size: 10pt, huruf tebal, sedangkan kata kuncinya ditulis dengan huruf miring. Isi abstrak tidak memuat equation atau simbol matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan media pembelajaran komik digital sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa Sekolah Dasar Karakter Bangsa kelas V dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Komik digital dapat menjadi media yang menarik dan interaktif, dengan potensi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman konsep-konsep yang diajarkan. Melakukan pengamatan langsung interaksi siswa dengan media pembelajaran komik digital dan melakukan wawancara dengan siswa untuk mengetahui pengalaman mereka, respon, minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan media komik digital. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang efektifitas penggunaan komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran serta meningkatkan kemampuan siswa bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan menarik di Sekolah Dasar Karakter Bangsa Depok.

Abstract

Freedom to Learn Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) is a new curriculum issued by the ministry of education as one of the innovation in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The rise of freedom to learn curriculum as one of the strategic decision in pandemic Covid-19 era. Challenges in implementing new curriculum come with various complaints from majority of teachers and it happen also for primary school teacher in Jakarta. The most element factors that make the implementation of new curriculum deals with narrow understanding of meaning and function in new curriculum. The research focus on analyzing the implementation of freedom to learn curriculum for primary school teacher in Jakarta. The research uses qualitative approach with case study to know the challenge and difficulties of primary school teacher in Jakarta in implementing freedom to learn curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). Finding of the study indicating teachers feel difficult to use various kind of teaching tools and aid in making interactive teaching and learning. Based on teacher’s and student’s perspectives, freedom to learn curriculum need to have a clear and comprehensive guidance in order to make the teacher improve their teaching skills in order to bring new transformation for the students.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate in detail the process and the result of improving English reading skills through Systemic Functional Linguistics-Reading to Learn (SFL-R2L). This study is an action research conducted in English Department Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta with total amount of participant 30 students within three action research cycles. The data was gathered from the process of observation in participation level and the result of an English reading skills test.  The findings showed that the learning process using Systemic Functional Linguistics-Reading to Learn (SFL-R2L) attracted the students to be more active in their learning process, it is showed by their participation level in the learning interaction. The result also presented that students’ English reading skill were a significantly improved. It can be concluded that the use of Systemic Functional Linguistics-Reading to Learn (SFL-R2L) succeeded in improving student English reading skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan level metakognisi peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah matematika dikelas X SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan data kualitatif . subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik yang berada dikelas X yang heterogen. Peserta didik dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok kemampuan matematika yaitu kelompok kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Masing-masing kelompok diambil satu orang peserta didik dan diidentifikasi level metakognisinya berdasarkan indicator yang telah dibuat dan diadaptasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi berada pada level metakognisi Reflective Use, kemampuan matematika sedang berada pada level Stategic Use dan kemampuan matematika rendah pada level Aware Use dan Tacit Use. Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat berguna sebagai bahan informasi karakteristik peserta didik didalam level metakognisinya dan bahan masukan bagi guru, pihak sekolah SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta , para peneliti dan semua pihak yang membutuhkan terutama dilingkungan Pendidikan Profesi Guru Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta.

Abstract

As educational institutions, schools play a pivotal role in fostering diversity awareness within the framework of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" (Unity in Diversity). Integrating education with the awareness of diversity can be effectively implemented through creative learning media, such as the song "Kita Beragam" (We Are Diverse), composed by teachers. This study aims to describe the use of song media in Pancasila and Citizenship Education to enhance students' awareness of societal and environmental diversity. The research adopts a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted with 22 second-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 41 Kayu Putih, East Jakarta. The findings suggest that song media can be an effective alternative to conventional teaching methods, which often result in monotonous learning experiences. The creative use of songs in the classroom can make the learning process more engaging, helping students better understand the lessons and improve learning outcomes. This study can serve as a reference for educators seeking innovative ways to enhance diversity education in Pancasila and Citizenship Education, particularly on the theme of diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' problem solving abilities through the application of PASTA to statistical material. Data collection was carried out using pre-test and post-test. In this research there are four indicators, namely understanding the problem, planning the problem, implementing the plan and checking again. The results of the research show that the application of PASTA learning media to statistics material is able to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities, this can be seen from the increase in test results from cycle I of 54% to cycle II of 93% after the application of PASTA learning media and the average of each indicator Mathematical problem solving abilities have reached completion and the results of learning mathematical problem solving abilities in cycle II can be seen from the number of students who completed the cycle II test, namely 26 students out of 28 students in class VII.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar matematika yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi metode yang digunakan yakni masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya penggunaan alat peraga pembelajaran yang menarik. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut yaitu menerapkan alat peraga pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga “Papan Statistika” guna meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII di SMP Labschool FIP UMJ. Alat peraga “Papan Statistika” merupakan salah satu alat peraga matematika yang berfungsi untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep dasar statistika. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 28 siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis berupa soal uraian dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama melaksanakan PTK didapatkan hasil dengan kategori sangat baik, yaitu (1) Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 64 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 54%. (2) Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 93%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan alat peraga “Papan Statistika” berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Labschool FIP UMJ.
