Abstract

Abstract Background: Surgical procedures are inseparable from anesthesia, one of the anesthetic procedures is spinal anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia is the most common regional technique performed by most anesthesiologists worldwide. Spinal anesthesia is injecting local analgesic drugs into the subarachnoid space in the area between the lumbar vertebrae L2-L3 or L3 L4 or L4-L5. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of surgery and the occurrence of Post Anesthetic Shivering and urinary retention in patients after spinal anesthesia in the recovery room of RSU Aisyiyah Padang. Method: This research method is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used no random sampling with a total sampling of 30 respondents. Data was taken using demographic data for gender and age data. Results: Respondents with the most dominant age category were adults aged 26-45 years, namely 17 respondents (56.7%). Respondents with a more dominant Gender category, namely Women, were 18 respondents (60.0%). In the category of length of surgery, namely more than >1-2 hours, namely 20 respondents (66.7). Based on the category of shivering frequency, the most dominant one is not shivering, as many as 16 people (53.3). The incidence of urine retention, most respondents did not experience urine retention, as many as 27 respondents or (90.0). Conclusion: There is no relationship between the length of surgery and the incidence of post-anesthetic shivering (pas) and urine retention and the direction of the relationship is positive.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2017 menyatakan bahwa di asia memiliki prevalensi perokok yang tinggi. Perilaku merokok dapat menimbulkan berbagai risiko kesehatan yang dampaknya memengaruhi organ paru-paru, kadar saturasi oksigen dan merupakan kebiasaan yang tidak bermanfaat bagi kesehatan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status perokok dengan nilai saturasi oksigen (SPO2) pasca anestesi umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskritif analitik dangan pendekatan cross secstional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cross Sectional yaitu dimana peneliti mendapatkan responden yang tersedia sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan uji koefiensi kontingensi C. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan atara status perokok dengan nilai saturasi SPO2 dengan nilai chi-square dengan nilai probabilitas 0,000 ˂ 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan antara status perokok dengan nilai saturasi SPO2 pasca anestesi umum di RSUD. Saran pada penelitian ini betapa bahayanya rokok itu sendiri dikarenakan dalam kandungan rokok itu memiliki 4000 zat kimia yang sangat bahaya yang dapat menyebabkan peurunan saturasi.   The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017 stated that asia have a high prevalence of smokers. Smoking behavior can pose various health risks that affect the lungs, oxygen saturation levels and is a habit that is not beneficial to human health. This study aims to determine the relationship between smoking status and post-general anesthesia oxygen saturation values (SPO2). This study uses descriptive analytic with a cross-sectional approach. Sampling using Cross Sectional, namely where researchers get available respondents according to the research criteria. Data analysis used the contingency coefficient test C. The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between smoking status and SPO2 saturation value with a chi-square value with a probability value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. This shows that there is a relationship between smoking status and post-general anesthesia SPO2 saturation values in hospitals. Suggestions in this study how dangerous cigarettes themselves are because cigarettes contain 4,000 very dangerous chemicals that can cause a decrease in saturation..

Abstract

Women's long journey as cancer survivors makes them need husband's support. However, it was found that the wife felt the support received was less effective and the husband did not fulfill his wishes, even though the husband considered the support provided to be adapted to his wife's needs. So there is a difference in understanding related to the support given by the husband with the support received by the wife. This study aims to determine the definition of husband's support for his wife as a cancer survivor from the husband's perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The samples obtained were 7 people. Data collection techniques using interviews and field notes. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study found 3 themes, namely the definition of husband's support, the reason for the husband to provide support and the form of support. 6 participants know the definition of husband's support and the rest do not know. There is one reason the husband provides support. The form of support provided by the husband is instrumental, informative, emotional, appreciation, monitoring, prioritizing and trusting the wife. Each husband has a different perspective both in defining support, reasons for giving support and efforts to support his wife. Nurses and wives are expected to understand each other's perspectives because the differences that occur cannot be generalized.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pendahuluan Abdominal pain merupakan sensasi nyeri yang terjadi secara tiba-tiba dan tidak spesifik dan salah satu terapi non farmakologis yang yang bisa di gunakan untuk mengatasinya adalah relaksasi nafas dalam. Tujuan umum karya ilmiah ini adalah memberikan asuhan keperawatan Tn.W dengan menerapkan relaksasi nafas dalam menggambar untuk mengontrol nyeri yang dirasakan oleh pasien di RSUD Kardinah Kota Tegal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Tn.W, pasien Abdominal Pain di RSUD Kardinah Kota Tegal. Hasil Berdasarkan hasil observasi terapi yang telah dilakukan selama 3 hari pada penerapan relaksasi nafas dalam menunjukkan bahwa relaksasi nafas dalam berpengaruh terhadap perubahan gejala pada pasien Abdominal pain. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  relaksasi nafas dalam  dapat meminimalisir rasa nyeri yang dirasakan pasien. Kata kunci: Abdominal pain, relaksasi nafas dalam

Abstract

Introduction The incidence of spinal anesthesia is increasing worldwide, according to WHO data showing that around 5% or 15 million surgical procedures are carried out using spinal anesthesia techniques. The aim of this research is to determine the complications that occur after spinal anesthesia with Sub Arachnoid Block (SAB). The research design used is quantitative analytical descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in July 2023. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique of 57 respondents. The instruments used in this study were measuring hypotension using a bedside monitor, arrhythmia using an oximeter and urine retention using a urine bag. Meanwhile, for PONV, PAS, PDPH, back pain, use an observation sheet. The data processing technique in this research uses univariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of respondents in this study experienced hypotension with 43 (75%) respondents, arrhythmia 38 (66.7%) respondents, PONV 34 (57.6%) respondents, PAS 42 (73.7%) respondents, PDPH 33 (57.9%) respondents, back pain 43 (75.4%) respondents, urinary retention 39 (68.4%) respondents. The conclusion of this study is post-spinal anesthesia complications, namely hypotension, arrhythmia, PONV, PAS, PDPH, back pain and urinary retention. Patients after surgery and using spinal anesthesia are always monitored and observed properly so that post-operative complications with spinal anesthesia are minimal and can be controlled.

Abstract

The issue of menstrual pain management, or dysmenorrhea, remains a critical public health concern, particularly among adolescent women. This community service initiative aimed to enhance knowledge and practices related to dysmenorrhea management through an educational program focused on pain relief and breathwork techniques. The target population consisted of female students at Secondary School 2 Bayang, South Pesisir Regency, who were experiencing menarche. A socialization approach was used, employing pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess knowledge and skills. The results showed significant improvements: the average knowledge score increased from 54.20 to 83.95, and the ability to perform deep breathing exercises rose from 43.52 to 100. The findings highlight the effectiveness of the educational intervention in improving students' understanding of dysmenorrhea and their ability to manage menstrual pain through relaxation techniques.

Abstract

Menghindari aspirasi, Anda perlu berpuasa sebelum operasi. Waktu untuk tidak minum cairan apa pun sebelum operasi disebut puasa sebelum operasi. Untuk mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya aspirasi paru - suatu keadaan darurat medis yang dapat terjadi selama atau setelah prosedur anestesi - dianjurkan untuk berpuasa. Sasaran Pasien yang menjalani operasi di RSUD Cilacap akan menjadi fokus dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan informasi tentang manfaat puasa kepada mereka yang belum pernah mendengarnya melalui pembagian pamflet. Hasil dari Kegiatan Sukarelawan Sepuluh peserta (66,7% dari total peserta) adalah laki-laki dan berusia 25-35 tahun yang merupakan sebagian besar dari karakteristik peserta. Terdapat 9 peserta (60,0%) memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup sebelum menerima edukasi mengenai pentingnya berpuasa, dan 1 peserta (6,7%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik. Setelah menerima edukasi, terdapat peningkatan sebanyak 8 peserta (53,3%) dengan pengetahuan baik, dan kurang sebanyak 0 peserta (0%). Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengedukasi pasien mengenai pentingnya berpuasa sebelum operasi dan bagaimana mencegah aspirasi selama dan setelah prosedur adalah dengan membagikan pamflet edukasi.

Abstract

Background : Surgery is akk treatment prosedures that use invasive techniques by opening or displaying body parts, and are generally carried out by making an incisionin the part of the body that will be treated until repair is carried out and ending with closing or suturing the wound.The anesthesiologist researches the reading of thorax X-ray results, especially in general anesthesia patients because X-ray are one of the important indicator for anesthesia, especially general anesthesia, anticipation and so that or does not have abnormalities in the lungs, whether there is cardiomyolysis or not, so the anesthesiologist can be preventive fpr the preparation of drugs or the way of anesthesia techniques.objective: To find out the overview of the result of thorax Posterior Anterior X-ray in preoperative patients with General Anesthesia based on age gender, smoking history and length of surgery in preoperative patients. Method : this study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a retrospective approach carried out only to observe and describe a variable and then examine and explain an event with numerical data without testing a certain hypothesis and measurement is carried out 1 time at a certain time. Results : normal posterior anterior (PA) x-ray results were 42 respondents (52.5%), with bronchitis 24 respondents (30.0%), for pneumonia there were 9 respondents (11.3%), while cardiomegaly there were 4 respondents (5.0%) and respondents with pneumothorax results there were 1 respondent (1.3%).
