Abstract

As the third pillar of Islam, zakat has very strategic role in the development of the ummah. Indonesia, being the most populous Muslim country, experiences rapid zakat development for the last decade. This could be observed from both collection and distribution sides of zakat, which indicate remarkable mprovement. However, Indonesia still faces a number of challenges including the wide gap between zakat potential and its actual collection. Hence, exchange of experience between Indonesia and other OIC member countries is highly needed.

Abstract

One of the potentials which are still not utilized by the ummah is zakat fund. In Indonesia, this potential reaches 2 percent of GDP, which is not less than Rp 100 trillion per annum. As could be witnessed in the history, the use of zakat was able to alleviate poverty, especially during the glorious era of Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz. This paper attempts to discuss the strategies needed in order to realize the country's zakat potential. In addition, strengthening global zakat cooperation and network is highly needed as an effective way to overcome poverty which still exists in the Muslim world.

Abstract

Perbedaan dalam kehidupan seseorang atau kelompok orang dengan orang atau kelompok lain pada kenyataannya adalah sunnatullah (aturan Allah) yang bersifat pasti. Saling membantu dan sinergi akan melahirkan kekuatan, serta mendatangkan karunia Allah SWT. Zakat diprioritaskankan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan kaum miskin sebagai kategori mustahiq yang utama. Zakat dapat memecahkan masalah kemiskinan jika dikelola oleh amil zakat yang terpercaya dan profesional. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana Islam melalui instrumen zakat dapat menanggulangi kemiskinan.

Abstract

Quality education is one that produces graduates who possess not only proficiency in a single field of study but beyond that (multidisciplinary). The various issues concerning the religious community, nation, and social dynamics of Indonesian society demand that graduates from higher education institutions have skills in more than one area of study. This research aims to uncover the concept of multidisciplinary education by Moh. Natsir and its implementation at College for Islamic Preaching (STID) Moh. Natsir. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, focusing on the literature related to the subject and employing content analysis to construct Moh. Natsir's educational concept. The findings reveal that Moh. Natsir advocates for quality and inclusive education by integrating studies of history and politics, promoting freedom and independent thinking, advocating for an understanding of Islamic democracy, combining literature and language, strengthening unity and Indonesian nationalism, and also integrating just economics and development to improve the welfare of the people. From this concept, Moh. Natsir represents a graduate of multidisciplinary education who applies this approach to all aspects of their activities, enabling them to address the challenges faced by the community and the nation in a holistic manner.

Abstract

The acceptance of digital zakat technology is important to be researched, especially on the factors that affect the intention of users of online zakat applications which ultimately leads to the decision to use the application. This study examines factors influencing the intention and decision of muzakki to adopt digital zakat platforms at BAZNAS South Tangerang City. By using the Unified Theory Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model with four variables, including performance expectation, effort expectation, social influence and facilitating conditions as well as expanding the model by adding variables such as hedonic motivation, price value, habit, perceived risk, and zakat knowledge. Using a sample of 198 respondents from BAZNAS South Tangerang City, the data that has been collected is analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. The results of the analysis found that the variables of the UTAUT model were not a significant factor that affected the intention of the muzakki to decide to use the online zakat application. Meanwhile, the variables of the expansion of the model are a significant factor that affects the intention and decision of muzakki to use online zakat.   Keywords: UTAUT, SEM, BAZNAS, sharia fintech

Abstract

This study was motivated by the prevalence of juvenile delinquency, which indicates that moral education in schools has not been entirely successful in internalizing moral values in a profound and practical manner. In addition, the moral content in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) textbooks is considered to be unfocused and incomplete. This study aims to develop a supplement book on morals based on the interpretation of the Qur'an as teaching material to support PAI at the Senior High School (SMA) level, as well as to test the feasibility and user response to the developed book. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments consisted of a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the supplementary book received positive responses from 88.2% of teachers and 96.2% of students, while the expert validation results showed an average score of 3.58 out of 4.00 (92%) with a category of very feasible. This supplementary book consists of three volumes containing morals towards Allah and oneself, morals towards fellow human beings, and despicable morals, supplemented with verses from the Qur'an, interpretations, practical examples, and reflective exercises. Thus, this book is suitable for use as a supplement to PAI learning to strengthen the moral education of high school students. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih maraknya kenakalan remaja yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran akhlak di sekolah belum sepenuhnya berhasil menginternalisasi nilai-nilai moral secara mendalam dan aplikatif. Selain itu, materi akhlak dalam buku Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang beredar dinilai belum fokus dan komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku suplemen akhlak berbasis tafsir Al-Qur’an sebagai bahan ajar pendukung PAI di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), serta menguji kelayakan dan respons pengguna terhadap buku yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi ahli, serta kuesioner tanggapan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku suplemen memperoleh respons positif dari guru sebesar 88,2% dan siswa sebesar 96,2%, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,58 dari 4,00 (92%) dengan kategori sangat layak. Buku suplemen ini terdiri atas tiga jilid yang memuat akhlak terhadap Allah dan diri sendiri, akhlak terhadap sesama manusia, serta akhlak tercela, dilengkapi ayat Al-Qur’an, tafsir, contoh aplikatif, dan latihan reflektif. Dengan demikian, buku ini layak digunakan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran PAI untuk memperkuat pendidikan akhlak siswa SMA.

Abstract

Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS) Management Institutions rely heavily on public trust to ensure sustainable long-term support. Despite its importance, the existing literature still lacks an integrated model linking organizational operational performance with stakeholder behavioral outcomes. This study aims to assess how institutional practices, including communication, perceived competency, and disbursement, influence trust and subsequently affect stakeholder attitudes and behavioral intentions toward ZIS institutions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal-descriptive design. Data were collected through a survey of ZIS Institution stakeholders and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that trust is a central factor that significantly shapes stakeholders’ attitudes and behavioral intentions. Specifically, perceived competence is the strongest and most significant predictor of trust. In contrast, the fund disbursement variable was found to be insignificant in building trust. Trust has significant predictive power in shaping attitudes, but its influence on behavioral intentions is moderate. The main contribution of this study is to provide empirical evidence that ZIS institutions’ efforts should focus on improving managerial competence and professionalism, not just on the fund distribution process, as a strategic key to increasing public trust.

Abstract

Dilalah al-Alfaz merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk mengaktualisasikan hukum Islam dari teks Alquran dan as-Sunnah. Kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap ilmu ini di pihak para ahli hukum dapat menyebabkan kesalahan terhadap pemahaman suatu ayat atau hadits, sehingga terjadi kesalahan dalam penggalian hukum dari teks tersebut. Oleh karena itu, mengkaji dilalatul al-Alfaz sangat penting, khususnya dalam persoalan zakat yang terus berkembang mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode dilalah al-Alfaz yang digunakan para ulama fikih terdahulu untuk memahami hukum-hukum Alqur'an dan Sunnah, sehingga dapat diterapkan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut oleh para praktisi hukum modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan, yang menggunakan sumber primer dari kitab Ushul Al-Fiqh dan sumber sekunder dari buku dan jurnal lain yang relevan. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan menggunakan bentuk analisis induktif dan deduktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dilalah al-Alfaz merupakan faktor penting dalam pembangunan hukum Islam. Menurut aliran Mutakallimin urutan dilālah adalah mantūq sharih, iqtidha', ima', isyarah, mafhūm al-muwafaqah, dan mafhūm al-mukhlafah. Aplikasi kaedah di atas dan contoh penerapannya terhadap ayat zakat memberikan kesimpulan bahwa konsep dilalah al-alfaz sangat berpengaruh terhadap ijtihad ulama dalam pengembangan fatwa zakat kontemporer.
