Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain relevant verses of the Qur'an to be integrated into mathematics learning. We used a systematic literature review method to identify and to analyze previous studies. In this study, we collected relevant articles and then the articles were analyzed using a qualitative approach based on a content analysis. We successfully selected 10 research articles on the integration of the Qur'an verses in mathematics learning. The results of the study revealed that many mathematical concepts such as numbers, sets, geometry, sequence, logic, social arithmetic, and linear equation in one variable were found to be relevant to some Qur'an verses. Integrating the Qur'an in mathematics learning can foster students’ learning motivation and characters, such as obedient, fair, honest, and religious. It confirms that connecting mathematics with Islamic context not only enriches the learning process, but also fosters positive values in students and creates a more meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to discuss the concept of jihad in al-Hadith. This research is a literature review. The researcher collected documents related to the concept of jihad in al-Hadith by analyzing the views of Muhammad Sa'id Ramadân al-Bûti through a study of the book al-Jihâd fil islâm kaifa nafhamuhu wa kaifa numârisuhu using a thematic character and descriptive-analytic approach.  The research results show that jihad has various meanings and is not focused on the meaning of war, even though in verses of the Koran there are meanings that lead to war. However, this is a form of defense, not an attack. It is recommended that future researchers be more selective in choosing the concept and type of jihad that will be studied so as not to give rise to wrong opinions, especially in maintaining the Islamic view of rahmatallilalamin.

Abstract

Domestic wastewater management in Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, is the focus of community service activities (P2M) carried out by the Urban and Regional Development Studies Study Program team in collaboration with the UNKRIS Civil Engineering Study Program. The aim of this activity is to increase community awareness and ability in managing domestic wastewater in their environment. The team provided technical guidance to improve the household wastewater management system and daily community behavior through FGD activities carried out for one day by inviting all leaders from sub-districts in Pasar Rebo District. Service methods include initial surveys, interactive discussions, and evaluations. The results noted a significant increase in residents' understanding and actions regarding wastewater management. The emphasis on active community participation strengthens the positive impact of this activity in creating a foundation for improving the quality of life to support the One Million Orchid Village program in Pasar Rebo District.

Abstract

Anemia pada remaja putri di Indonesia, termasuk di Kabupaten Buton Tengah, masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang signifikan. Faktor penyebab utama adalah kekurangan zat besi akibat menstruasi dan pola makan yang tidak seimbang. Meskipun program pemberian Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) telah dilaksanakan, rendahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai pentingnya konsumsi TTD menjadi kendala utama. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja putri di SMK 1 Buton Tengah tentang pentingnya konsumsi TTD melalui kegiatan penyuluhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan pembagian leaflet edukatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan tentang anemia, manfaat TTD, serta cara konsumsi TTD. Sebelum penyuluhan, pengetahuan peserta tentang anemia rata-rata 52%, meningkat menjadi 84% setelah penyuluhan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang risiko anemia dan pentingnya TTD, serta mendorong perubahan sikap terhadap konsumsi TTD. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan berbasis sekolah efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi TTD pada remaja putri, yang dapat berkontribusi pada pencegahan anemia jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of Islamic values in the English curriculum through a life skills approach as a means of character building. In the context of globalization, character education has become one of the main focuses in curriculum development. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that involves analyzing curriculum documents, in-depth interviews with educators, and classroom observations in several senior high schools in Indonesia. The results show that the integration of Islamic values in English learning can enrich the learning content and have a positive impact on students' character development. Values such as honesty, hard work, and responsibility can be internalized through learning materials that are relevant to daily life. In addition, the life skills approach allows students to apply these values in practical situations, improving their social and emotional skills. This research found that teachers play a crucial role in implementing this approach, requiring adequate training and support. In conclusion, the Islamic values-based life skills approach in the English curriculum is not only relevant, but also effective in shaping students' character with integrity and nobility. The implications of this research point to the importance of developing educational policies that support the integration of religious values in the national curriculum.

Abstract

Tanjungsari Village is one of the 8 villages in Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. The problems found include several aspects including optimization and escalation of tourism villages, adding the selling value of a product, legality of MSMEs, upgrading the Women Farmers Group (KWT). The implementation of KKN-PPM in Tanjungsari Village, Sadananya District from August 1 to September 1, 2023. In the implementation of KKN-PPM, there are several implementation methods used, namely the survey method, mentoring method, lecture method, guidance method, and promotion method. In general, physical and non-physical activities, main work programs and additional work programs have been well realized so that they reach the ultimate goal of the work program and each work program implemented gets a good response from the community and village officials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran kunci yang dimainkan oleh komunitas lokal di Kabupaten Bima dalam membentuk dan memperkuat kearifan lokal mereka untuk mendukung pengembangan daerah yang berkelanjutan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Bima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komunitas di Kabupaten Bima menjadi pilar utama dalam menjaga kearifan lokal dan mendukung pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Melalui partisipasi aktif dalam pelestarian budaya, komunitas di Kabupaten Bima telah berhasil mempertahankan warisan tradisional yang menjadi identitas mereka. Selain itu, peran komunitas dalam mendukung pembangunan lokal menciptakan model yang berhasil menggabungkan kearifan lokal dengan proyek-proyek yang memajukan ekonomi, memperkuat ikatan sosial, dan melibatkan masyarakat secara inklusif. Keberhasilan Kabupaten Bima dalam memanfaatkan kearifan lokal sebagai sumber daya pembangunan memberikan inspirasi dan panduan bagi daerah-daerah lain, menegaskan pentingnya keterlibatan komunitas dalam menciptakan perubahan positif yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, Kabupaten Bima menggambarkan bahwa keberlanjutan pembangunan dapat terwujud melalui kolaborasi yang erat antara pemerintah dan komunitas lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and build a CNN deep learning program modeling for a mobile application for rice quality classification and analyze the performance of a mobile application-based classification program as a means of halal information in real time. The method applied is an experimental method that utilizes machine learning technology by using many rice images that are used as datasets. The data of these images is classified by their shape, color and background. This image is used as a reference for the training dataset. After the CNN training model is formed, it is then set up in a web editor p5.js then an interface is created to connect to a server such as Google Cloud using FastAPI, which can be accessed using a mobile application or a web server such as Chrome. In the mobile application, create an interface to connect with the camera system and data base on the cloud server. The results of the study were obtained that CNN deep learning modeling can be used in real time. In web browser usage, the data shown is also affected by lighting. The accuracy level of the built model reached above 99.8 percent with a validation accuracy rate of 99.7 percent in the data training process. When testing, the average accuracy of the data was around 99.9 percent. This clearly proves that CNNs can be used to classify objects properly and accurately.

Abstract

This study aims to reformulate the post-pandemic learning system at UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addari in responding to the challenges of lost learning and lost generation. This research used a qualitative approach with a multi-case study method. Participants in this study were selected by purposive sampling, namely institutional field, and academic leaders, LPM, lecturers and students. Data collection techniques using focus group discussions and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out with individual and cross-case analyses. The research findings stated that the pandemic affected the learning system, for example, through changes in student attitudes, low motivation in learning, readiness of teaching materials, limited ability to use technology, and network disruption. Policies related to the implementation of distance learning bring challenges that must be faced by UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada, including determining learning goals, adapting the learning system, adjusting the characteristics of lecturers and students, as well as the need for learning facilities. UIN Imam Bonjol and UIN Syahada reformulated the learning system by implementing the hybrid learning system to anticipate the occurrence of lost learning. Lecturers and students responded positively to the new learning system policy, in line with the benefits obtained, for example, flexibility in learning, students are used to self-study, digital-based learning materials, still respect face-to-face learning, flipped learning innovation, curriculum appropriate to the industrial era 4.0, and the implementation of an independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the evolution and significance of children's human rights from conception to childhood, with a particular focus on the Indonesian context, which is rich in cultural and religious diversity. Through a qualitative approach with normative and historical methods, this study analyzes the development of international and national legal norms governing child protection, as well as how social and religious dynamics influence the understanding of children's rights, especially in the prenatal phase. Data were collected through a documentary study of international legal instruments such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), Indonesian laws and regulations, as well as academic literature and reports from international organizations. The results of the study show that although Indonesia has adopted various instruments for protecting children's rights, there are still normative gaps related to the recognition and protection of children's rights from infancy. Differences in views arising from cultural and religious diversity are both challenges and potential in formulating more inclusive policies. Therefore, a legal approach is needed that is not only based on international standards but is also sensitive to local values. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more comprehensive and contextual child protection policies in Indonesia.
