Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan tepung kepala udang sebagai bahan substitusi dosis tepung ikan pada pakan ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) serta mengetahui dosis tepung kepala udang yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan ikan Nila. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Desember sampai dengan 8 Pebruari dengan masa pemeliharaan selama 45 hari bertempat di Laboratorium Program Studi Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu : (kontrol) pakan komersil, (P1) 0% tepung kepala udang, (P2) 20% tepung kepala udang, dan (P3) 35% tepung kepala udang. Data perhitungan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa jenis pakan yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, rasio konversi pakan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan efisiensi pakan pada ikan Nila. Penggunaan tepung kepala udang pada pakan mampu memberikan pertumbuhan yang sama baiknya dengan pakan komersil maupun pakan tanpa penambahan tepung kepala udang serta mampu menekan biaya produksi pada pembuatan pakan.

Abstract

Sex reversal merupakan salah satu cara untuk memproduksi populasi ikan monoseks jantan, yakni suatu teknologi yang diterapkan pada saat gonad ikan belum terdiferensiasi sehingga mengarahkan kelamin menjadi jantan. Madu merupakan salah satu bahan yang digunakan untuk sex reversal yang mengandung chrysin yang berfunsi sebagai aromatase inhibitor sehingga mengarahkan kelamin ikan menjadi jantan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 30 mei sampai 13 juli 2019, tempat penelitian yaitu Laboratorium Basah Program Studi Budidaya Perairan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mataram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu P1 konsentrasi madu 5 ml.l-1 + 8 jam perendaman, P2 konsentrasi madu 5 ml.l-1 + 10 jam perendaman, P3 konsentrasi madu 5 ml.l-1 + 12 jam perendaman, P1 konsentrasi madu 5 ml.l-1 + 14 jam perendaman. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan ANOVA pada taraf kepercayaan 95% melalui program SPSS dan uji lanjut menggunakan Duncan untuk mengetahui perlakuan terbaik. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase jumlah jantan dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup. Hasil penelitian menujukkan pengaruh perbedaan lama waktu memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata terhadap persen jantan yang dihasilkan tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan cupang yang dipelihara. Lama waktu perendaman terbaik didapatkan dari perlakuan P2 dengan persentase jumlah jantan sebanyak 77,18%. Kata kunci: maskulinisasi, kelansungan hidup, sex reversal, Betta sp., madu.

Abstract

Warna merupakan salah satu faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap harga jual ikan hias akan tetapi warna ikan hias pada umumnya menjadi pudar pada saat dipelihara di dalam akuarium. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan Karotenoid ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus) setelah diberi pakan tambahan berupa tepung labu kuning, tepung wortel serta tepung spirulina. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 30 Mei hingga 29 Juni 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan masing-masing 15 ekor ikan tiap unit, dan terdapat empat dosis perlakuan. P0 (pakan tanpa penambahan pakan lain), P1 (pakan dengan 15% tepung labu kuning), P2 (pakan dengan 5% tepung wortel), P3 (pakan dengan 1,2% tepung spirulina). Nilai TCF tertinggi yaitu pada P2 (penambahan tepung wortel 5%) dengan nilai 6,4 dan terendah pada P0 (tanpa penambahan tepung) dengan nilai 3,7. Kandungan Karotenoid tertinggi yaitu pada P2 (penambahan tepung wortel 5%) dengan dengan nilai 11,19 µmol/g sedangkan kandungan terendah yaitu pada P0 (tanpa penambahan tepung) dengan nilai 4,65 µmol/g. Perlakuan tersebut tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan berat dan panjang ikan mas koki.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of feed that supports growth and high survival for Manfish. The research was carried out for 30 days, which took place in the Self Installation. This research was conducted by an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment given is different feeding and each treatment is repeated 3 times. The treatments given are: Treatment 0 (control): feeding using tubifex, Treatment 1: feeding using mosquito larvae, Treatment 2: feeding using rebon shrimp, Treatment 3: feeding a combination of blood worms and rebon shrimp. The parameters observed were, absolute length, absolute weight, specific growth, survival rate and water quality. The results showed that there was no real effect of different types of feed on the growth and survival of manfish.

Abstract

(Musa balbisiana colla) dalam pakan komersial untuk meningkatkan warna pada ikan nemo (Amphipriion ocellaris). Hewan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan nemo dengan panjang 2-3 cm. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 15 unit percobaan, yakni P0 (tanpa penambahan bubuk kulit pisang), P1 (bubuk kulit pisang 5%) P2 (bubuk kulit pisang 10%), P3 (bubuk kulit pisang 15%), P4 (bubuk kulit pisang 20%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tingkat kecerahan warna, pertumbuhan panjang, pertumbuhan berat, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup, sehingga dilakukan uji lanjut untuk mengetahui perlakuan terbaik dalam menghasilkan peningkatan warna pada ikan nemo, diketahui bahwa P3 (bubuk kulit piang 15%) merupakan perlakuan terbaik pada kecerahan warna dengan persentase 26,30. Perlakuan terbaik pada pertumbuhan panjang mutlak dan berat mutlak ialah P4 (bubuk kulit pisang 20%) dengan persentase panjang 0,60 cm dan persentase berat 0,64g.

Abstract

This study aims to providing a combination of fertilizer (urea, NPK dan TSP) withdifferent doses on the growth of Spirulina sp. This research was conducted in October 2019which took place in a private graham cendana Blok J no 4, Sekarbela, Mataram City. This studyuses a completely randomized design with four treatment namely treatment A: (0 g/l Urea; 0 g/lNPK; 0 g/l TSP) (kontrol), B: (0,2 g/l Urea; 0, 01g/l NPK; 0,004 g/l TSP), C: (0,3 g/l Urea; 0,02g/l NPK; 0,006 g/l TSP), D: (0,4 g/l Urea; 0,04 g/l NPK; 0,008 g/l TSP).The results of the studyfor 9 days of culture process in treatment D with a combination of fertilizer (urea, NPK dan TSP)as much (0,4 g/l Urea; 0,04 g/l NPK; 0,008 g/l TSP) the highes density results obtained as muchas 831 ind/ml while the lowest value obtained in treatment A (without fertilizer) is as much 505ind/ml and the highest daily growth rate is obtained in treatment D with a combination offertilizer (urea, NPK dan TSP) (0,4 g/l Urea; 0,04 g/l NPK; 0,008 g/l TSP) this is as much as0.413 ind/ml/day while the lowest value obtained in treatment A (without fertilizer) is 0.484ind/ml/day.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the cultivation of catfish (Pangasius hypopthalmus) based on biofloc with the addition of molasses at different C: N ratios. The catfish used was catfish with an initial average length of 6 cm. The container used is a container of 12 pieces with a volume of 40 L and filled with 35 L of fresh water with a stocking density of 15 birds in one container. Molasses was given to the catfish culture medium 2 hours after feeding. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design method (CRD). This study consisted of 4 treatments with 4 replications, namely P1 = Control (without addition of molasses), P2 = C: N ratio media 15, P3 = C: N ratio media 20 and P4 = C: N ratio 25. The results showed that cultivation Biofloc-based catfish (P.hypopthalmus) with the addition of different C: N molasses ratio did not have a significant effect on specific growth rate, absolute growth and survival of catfish. However, the average results showed that the treatment of C: N ratio of media 20 (P3) gave the highest specific growth rates, absolute growth and survival, namely 19.6 gr, 2.26 gr and 62.38%, respectively.

Abstract

In the aquaculture industry, feed plays a vital role because more than 50% of the production cost is for feed procurement costs. The feed used must not only contain good nutritional content, but also be economically affordable. The better the quality of the feed, accompanied by the cheaper the feed, the success of fish production activities can be guaranteed. The purpose of this study was to increase the use of local fish meal as a substitute for commercial fish meal in tilapia feed formulations. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) model consisting of four treatments and three replications. The treatment applied was feeding the fish with artificial feed made from a combination of local fish meal with commercial fish meal at different doses. The treatments in this study werea (commercial fish meal 30% + local fish meal 0%), B (commercial fish meal 20% + local fish meal 10%), C (commercial fish meal 10% + local fish meal 20%), and D (commercial fish meal 0% + local fish meal 30%). The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) test showed that the treatment had no significant effect on the value of survival rate (SR), but had a significant effect on the value of Specific Growth Rate (SGR), Feed Conversion Ration (FCR) and blood glucose levels (GD). The SR values of treatment A, B, C, and D were 96.7%, 96.7%, 96.7%, and 100%, respectively. The SGR values of treatment A, B, C, and D were 0.15% / day, 0.24% / day, 0.29% / day, 0.35% / day, respectively. The FCR values of treatment A, B, C, and D were 10.25, 7.47, 5.00, and 4.16, respectively. The GD values of treatments A, B, C, and D were 217.67 mg / dL, 160.33 mg / dL, 155.00 mg / dL, and 132.67 mg / dL, respectively. The water quality during the research was still classified in the optimum range of tilapia rearing water quality, namely temperature 29.0?31.9 oC, pH 7.0?8.2, DO 4.3?5.9 mg / L, and ammonia 0.0011-0.0293 mg / L. The conclusion of this research activity is, the use of fish feed using the formulation of local fish meal as a raw material can be used as a substitute for commercial fish meal.

Abstract

This study aims to study the graduation rate of living and post growth of vaname shrimp larvae using multilevel salinity acclimatization methods maintained at low salinity. This study consisted of five treatments, and each treatment had 3 repeats. Thus in this study there were 15 experimental units. As a treatment is the adedation period of acclimatization decreases salinity as follows: Treatment 1: No decrease in salinity (30 ppt). Treatment 2: 6 day decreased salinity (30 ppt, 24 ppt, 18 ppt, 12 ppt, 6 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 3: 7 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 25 ppt, 20 ppt, 15 ppt, 10 ppt, 5 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 4: 8 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 26 ppt, 21 ppt, 17 ppt, 13 ppt, 9 ppt, 4 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 5: 9 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 26 ppt, 23 ppt, 19 ppt, 15 ppt, 11 ppt, 8 ppt, 4 ppt, 0 ppt). The results showed that the larvae of vaname shrimp that were kept at low salinity using acclimatization methods had no noticeable effect on survival rates. The survival rate is between 72% - 94.67%, has an absolute weight between 1.75 grams – 2.36 grams and an absolute length between 1.47 cm – 1.87 cm with a fcr value of 3.17 – 3.83. The oxygen consumption rate in vaname shrimp is 1.76 – 2.2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best acclimatization time for survival rate and growth of vaname shrimp. This research was carried out of for 22 days, started from February 5 to 26, 2021 at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. The research method used a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Thus in this study there were 15 experimental units. As a treatment is the difference acclimatization periode was the decrease in salinity as follows : Treatment 1 : no decrease in salinity (30 ppt). Treatment 2 : 1 day decreased salinity (30 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 3 : 2 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 15 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 4 : 3 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 20 ppt, 10 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 5 : 4 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 23 ppt, 15 ppt, 8 ppt, 0 ppt). The results showed that the vaname shrimp that were kept at low salinity using acclimatization method had noticeable effect on survival rate. The value of survival rate between 1 % - 73 %, has an absolute weight between 0.0433 gram – 0.1802 gram and an absolute length bewtween 1.1 cm – 2.9 cm with food conversion ratio 0.1285 – 3.937. The oxygen consumption rate between 0.073 – 0.113.
