Abstract

Kawasan perkolaman budidaya air tawar di Dusun Kerujuk belum ditata dan didesain dengan baik sesuai dengan fungsinya dan pemamfaatan ruang belum optimal. Kolam ikan dibuat asal-asalan dan terkesan seperti kubangan air saja. Hal ini menyebabkan produktivitas budidaya tidak maksimal.Untuk menciptakan kawasan budidaya air tawar yang menarik untuk dikunjungi wisatawan dan peningkatan produktivitas budidaya ikan air tawar, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan tentang penataan kawasan budidaya air tawar untuk mendukung kampung wisata. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan memberi pemahaman kepada masyarakat bahwa dengan penataan kawasan budidaya ikan dengan baik dan benar akan memberi peningkatn produktivitas budidaya ikan dan menarik untuk dikunjungi wisatawan. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dapat memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat. Ini tampak dari antusiasnya masyarakat dalam tanya jawab dan termotivasi mengembangkan dan penata kembali kawasan dan kolam ikan, sehingga kegiatan ini perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Keberadaan kelompok pengolah pangan khususnya kawasan pesisir memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan nilai ekonomi produk pangan berbasis ikan. Selain menjadi peluang usaha masyarakat, juga dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesehatan dan kecerdasan melalui produk ikan yang bergizi dan aman dikonsumsi. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan olahan pangan berbasis ikan berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan rumah tangga pesisir terutama kelompok pengolah ikan. Pemilihan produk yang dikembangkan ditetapkan berdasarkan kesesuaian potensi dan karakter wilayah, ekonomi dan budaya masyarakat melalui focus group discussion (FGD). Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir Kuranji telah berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengolahan ikan berupa abon ikan disertai fasilitasi proses perijinan usaha PIRT, sehingga kelompok wanita pengolah abon dapat berkontribusi secara ekonomi dalam rumahtangga. Implikasi dari pendampingan kelompok pengolah abon ikan antara lain : meningkatnya kualitas produk abon ikan, terbitnya ijin usaha PIRT, berkembangnya jumlah dan jenis usaha baru di kawasan pesisir, meningkatnya value added produk olahan ikan, meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat pesisir, meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengembangkan kapasitas sosial dan ekonomi, serta meningkatnya wawasan, sikap mental dan jiwa wirausaha yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Santong Village has abundant plantation and agricultural products such as cloves, bananas, and coffee. So, it is not surprising that in Santong Village there are many business actors or MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Units) banana sale, coffee or other businesses. The large number of business actors and MSMEs in Santong Village who do not yet have a NIB business license (Business Identification Number) makes the University of Mataram (Unram) Thematic KKN 2022 in collaboration with the North Lombok Regency Investment and Business Social Service, The Sheep Indonesia Foundation, and Santong Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to hold socialization activities and make NIB for business actors and MSMEs in Santong Village. The purpose of holding this socialization activity is so that business actors and MSMEs in Santong Village understand the importance of having a NIB business license. The method of socialization uses means; First, students of the 2022 Santong Village Unram Thematic KKN held a discussion with the Sheep Indonesia foundation regarding the implementation of socialization and making NIB for business actors and MSMEs in Santong Village who do not yet have NIB. Second, students of the 2022 Santong Village Unram Thematic KKN notify and disseminate information about the implementation of socialization and making NIB to all business actors and MSMEs who do not yet have a NIB business license and are in Santong Village. Third, the Unram Thematic KKN together with the North Lombok District investment and business social service, the Sheep Indonesia Foundation, and Santong BUMDes carried out socialization on the importance of having NIB for business actors and MSMEs. Fourth, Unram Thematic KKN helps the process of making emails for business actors and MSMEs who do not have an active email so that later when the process of making a NIB business license runs smoothly. Fifth, the social office of investment and business along with the Unram Thematic KKN made the NIB and immediately distributed the NIB business license in sheet form after the NIB manufacturing process was successful. It is hoped that with the socialization and creation of NIB by the Unram Thematic KKN Santong Village 2022 can provide awareness of the importance of having a NIB business license for business actors or MSMEs who want to run their business.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the aquaculture sector can indirectly lead to the accumulation of unresolved aquaculture waste in the sea. The IMTA cultivation system is one of the innovations developed in aquaculture activities to overcome aquatic environmental problems, such as the accumulation of waste from feed used in aquaculture activities. The concept combines the cultivation of several species with different trophic levels, such as fish that are fed and combined with seaweed that can absorb inorganic materials in the water. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of nitrogen absorption in Kappaphycus alvarezii using a longline system in the IMTA area in the waters of Ekas Bay. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 4 treatments and each treatment was divided into 4 groups (North, South, East, and West). The treatment given was planting seaweed at different depths, namely 50 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm, and 200 cm. The results showed that Kappaphycus alvarezii reared with an integrated cultivation system at different planting depths gave significantly different results in absolute weight growth with values ​​ranging from 120,31 grams – 195,58 grams and specific growth rates ranging from 2.67% - 4, 35%, but did not have a significant effect on the rate of nitrogen uptake in all treatments, but the highest absorption value was at a depth of 2 meters. So the researchers suggest the cultivation of Kappaphycus alvarezii at a depth of 2 meters in the waters of Ekas Bay, East Lombok with a longline system in the IMTA area.

Abstract

Tilapia is a leading commodity in Indonesia, in its cultivation the availability of water is one of the obstacles for cultivators, one of the efforts made is by cultivating aquaponics and recirculation systems. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the aquaponics system on the survival and growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fry with a recirculation system. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) using four treatments and three replications, namely P1 (without plants) P2 (lettuce plants), P3 (caisim plants), P4 (kangkung plants) then further tests were carried out using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). ). Research parameters include absolute weight (BM), absolute length (PM), specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR) and water quality. The results of this study indicate that the aquaponics system for tilapia cultivation with a recirculation system has a significant effect on the growth and survival of tilapia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum on the growth of tilapia. This research was conducted using an experimental method using Completely Randomized (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment given was the administration of probiotic bacteria L. plantarum from different dilutions of 30% of the amount of feed mixed into tilapia feed. The feed used is commercial pellet feed. The treatments are treatment 1 (P1): Administration of probiotic bacteria from a dilution of 10-3, treatment 2 (P2): Administration of probiotic bacteria from a dilution of 10-6, treatment 3 (P3): Administration of probiotic bacteria from a dilution of 10-9, treatment 4 (P4): Administration of probiotic bacteria from a dilution of 10-12, and treatment (P0): without administration of probiotics. Based on the results of research that has been carried out for 45 days, it can be said that treatment 3 (P3): Provision of probiotic bacteria at a dilution of 10-9 gave a significant effect on the growth of tilapia weight, feed conversion ratio, feed efficiency, and digestibility of tilapia feed. However, it did not have a significant effect on the increase in length and life of tilapia.

Abstract

Desa Bug-bug adalah saIah satu desa yang terIetak di Kecamatan Lingsar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat dan terletak pada daerah yang dekat dengan pegunungan sehingga memiliki sumber air bersih yang cocok digunakan untuk kegiatan memelihara ikan (budidaya ikan). Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan adalah praktik Budikdamber (budidaya ikan daIam ember). Budikdamber adaIah teknik budidaya ikan ramah Iingkungan yang memanfaatkan ember untuk wadah budidaya ikan serta menggunakan air budidaya untuk tumbuh kembang sayuran yang ditanam. Tujuan sosialisasi dan pelatihan budikdamber ini agar nantinya masyarakat mampu melaksanakan budikdamber secara berkelanjutan dan mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan bagi masyarakat dan ahli budidaya di Desa Bug-bug. PeIaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diIakukan dengan metode penyuIuhan dan pelatihan yaitu memperkenaIkan dan praktik Iangsung kegiatan budikdamber. Kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi penyuluhan memperkenaIkan budikdamber, tanya jawab/diskusi, dan pelatihan langsung. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu telah dilakukan penyuIuhan dengan materi yang disampaikan berkaitan tentang budikdamber yang diikuti keIompok ibu PKK, karang taruna, dan beberapa mahasiswa Universitas Mataram yang sedang meIaksanakan kegiatan KKN. Setelah itu dilakukan pelatihan langsung pembuatan budikdamber. KesimpuIan pengabdian masyarakat ini adaIah teIah disampaikannya informasi, pengetahuan, dan bimbingan teknis kepada masyarakat di Desa Bug-bug tentang teknoIogi budikdamber.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan komposisi fitoplankton di Teluk Kodek Pemenang Lombok Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey pada 4 stasiun di perairan Teluk Kodek pada Bulan Agustus 2012 dan analisa fitoplankton dilakukan di Laboratorium Perikanan Program Studi Budidaya Perairan Universitas Mataram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan fitoplankton di perairan Teluk Kodek pada bulan Agustus 2012 adalah 6557 ind/l.  Tercatat 20 spesies  fitoplankton yang ditemukan yang dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelompok besar yaitu diatom dan dinoflagelata. Kelompok diatom terdiri 11 spesies, yaitu; Guinardia flaccida, Rhizosolenia setigera, Navicula sp., Chaetoceros sp., Thalassionema nitzschioides, Pleurosigma normanii, Planktoniella sol, Pseudo-nitzchia brasiliana, Lauderia annulata, Socphanopysis palmeriana, Oscillatoria sp., sedangkan dari kelompok dinoflagelata terdiri dari 9 spesies, yaitu; Pyrocytis noutiluca, Dinophysis cudate., Prorocentrum lima, Alexandrium tamarence, Ceratium fusus, C. incisum, C. boehmii, Torodium teredo and Odontella sinensis.  Indeks keragaman phytoplankton Teluk Kodek adalah 0,1307 dan masuk kategori keanekaragaman rendah, sedangkan indek keseragaman diperoleh nilai 0,207 dan masuk kategori keseragaman rendah. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunitas fitoplankton di perairan Teluk Kodek pada Bulan Agustus 2012 tidak stabil.Kata Kunci: Diatom; Dinoflagelata; Keanekaragaman; Budidaya Laut.

Abstract

Stunting is a health issue that impacts children on a local, national, and international scale. High rates of early marriage are directly associated to the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia. Children in early childhood who marry and become pregnant without the knowledge, mental and financial readiness to become good mothers pose a grave threat to the quality of the future human resources. The problem of stunting is influenced not only by a single element, but also by multiple factors, the most significant of which is the fulfillment of nutrient needs, particularly protein, in this case through fish consumption. This community service project aims to provide counseling or instruction on the significance of fish nutrition in preventing stunting, as well as teach participants how to make cookies from wet anchovies. This method of community service is counseling, which consists of multiple stages, including preparation, distribution of materials, pre- and post-testing, explanation of method to make anchovy cookies, and tasting fish-based processed foods together. From the findings of the pretest given by the speaker to the respondents, 50% of the respondents consumed around 200 g of fish on the day of counseling, and 100% of the respondents were motivated to consume fish following the counseling. In addition to emphasizing the significance of consuming fish on a regular basis for proper nutrition, the presenters demonstrated how to make anchovy cookies as an alternative snack for children. The outcome of this service activity is that the respondents are enthusiastic and inspired by the knowledge offered by the presenters, and are interested in preparing anchovy-based cookies at home.

Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) is one of the economically important freshwater fish that has been widely cultivated both traditionally and intensively. Catfish has many advantages such as fast growth, resistance to disease, and can live in water conditions that are low in oxygen content. The use of microbubble technology is expected to support the performance of catfish farming with a biofloc system. With the application of this technology, it is hoped that the oxygen supply from micro-sized air bubbles will increase. Because the diameter of the air bubble is less than 50 µm, it is expected to last a long time in the water and can spread horizontally so that it can be utilized optimally by catfish and biofloc. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of microbubble technology on the growth performance of catfish. The research method used a completely randomized design, with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The variables measured during the study included survival rate, length and weight growth, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and water quality including temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, ammonia (NH3), nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-), oxygen consumption rate (OCR), and total organic matter (TOM).
