Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of discovery learning models based on audio-visual media on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 081 Palembang. The sample in this study were students of class VA as the experimental class and students of class VB as the control class. The number of samples in this study were 30 students in each class. The type of research used in this research is experimental research with a quasi-experimental research method with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests, observationsand documentation. The instrument used in the science learning outcome test is in the form of a multiple choice test. The data analysis technique was carried out using the t-test and the N-Gain test. The results of the hypothesis test obtained that the value of tcount 5.90 and ttable 2.00172 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, and seen from the results of the N-Gain test in the experimental class including the moderate category, namely 0.61 while inthe control class the results of the N-Gain test with the low category is 0.23, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the application of the discovery learning model based onaudio-visual media has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 081 Palembang.

Abstract

Comprehension ability is the ability to understand information given to students in the form of learning material. One alternative for understanding learning material with interesting learning media is quartet card media. Quartet cards are media in the form of a game including: several number of picture cards which have information about the picture by grouping 4 cards with different subtitles. The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of using quartet cards on students' comprehension abilities in class IV PPKN subjects. The research subjects were classes IV.A and IV.D at SDN 235 Palembang. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The research results were seen after carrying out the pretest, treatment, posttest in the experimental class and control class so that the independent sample t-test calculation results obtained a significant value = 0.00, so the significant value was 0.00 <0.05, meaning that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Local Wisdom-Based Powtoon Animation Video Media on the Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Elementary School Science. The results of observations and interviews with grade IV teachers at Elementary School 117 Palembang found that the level of learning outcomes of students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) had not developed well, students were less motivated during the teaching and learning process. The researcher used an experimental method, a post-test only control group design. Design. Samples of grade 4D and 4E students at Elementary School 117 Palembang. Data collection techniques were observation, testing and documentation. The analysis technique used data normality test, data homogeneity test and hypothesis test of the effect of Local Wisdom Powtoon Animation Video Media on the Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Elementary School Science. This can be concluded from the learning outcomes in the control class posttest score of 55.66 and in the experimental class of 84.48 from both classes, it can be seen that the class that received the treatment had better learning outcomes for the experimental class compared to the control class, the score increased. From the normality test data, it was obtained 0.108 for the control class and 0.128 for the experimental class, it can be seen that the learning outcomes of children in the control and experimental classes were greater than 0.05, so the data was normally distributed. The results of the homogeneity test obtained a significant value of 0.973> 0.05, so the control and experimental classes were called homogeneity. Conduct a hypothesis test from the data that has been obtained using the independent simple t-test. In the data obtained, the significant value (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. After conducting the test, the researcher concluded that there was a significant influence on the Local Wisdom-Based Powtoon Animation Video Media on the Learning Outcomes of Science in Grade IV Elementary Schools. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Media Video Animasi Powtoon Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Kelas IV SD. hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru kelas IV di SD Negeri 117 Palembang ditemukan bahwa tingkat hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) siswa belum berkembang dengan baik, siswa kurang termotivasi selama proses kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis post-test only control grup design. Design. Sampel siswa kelas 4D dan 4E SD Negeri 117 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji normalitas data, uji homigenitas data dan uji hipotesis pengaruh Media Video Animasi Powtoon Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan dari hasil belajar pada nilai posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 55,66 dan pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 84,48 dari kedua kelas ini terlihat kelas yang mendapatkan perlakuan nilai hasil belajar anak kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol skor meningkat. Darai data uji normalitasnya diperoleh 0,108 untuk kelas kontrol dan 0,128 untuk kelas Eksperimen terlihat hasil belajar anak pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen lebih besar dari 0.05 maka data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji homogenitas diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,973 > 0,05 maka kelas kontrol dan eksprimen disebut homogenitas. melakukan uji hipotesis dari data yang sudah diperolehlah mempergunakan uji independent simple t-test. Pada data yang diperolehlah nilai signifikan (2-tailed) adalah 0,000<0,05, maka  ditolak dan diterima data tersebut. Setelah melakukan pengujian peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa terdapatnya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Media Video Animasi Powtoon Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan pendidikan selalu berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi, budaya, dan masyarakat. Pendidikan masyarakat bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter dan peradaban bangsa yang cerdas, percaya, inovatif, mandiri, demokratis, dan bertanggung jawab. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan pengembangan media digital berbasis flipbook pada mata Pelajaran IPAS materi tumbuhan, sumber kehidupan di bumi untuk siswa kelas 4 SD yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan (R&D). Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, analyze (analisis), design (perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian tentang penilaian ahli media dari segi aspek desain produk flipbook dan program media pembelajaran mendapatkan rata-rata 42 dengan presentase 84% (sangat valid), penilaian ahli materi dari segi aspek kurikulum dan materi mendapatkan rata-rata 44 dengan presentase 88% (sangat valid), penilaian ahli bahasa dari segi aspek kelayakan bahasa mendapatkan rata-rata 40 dengan presentase 80% (valid). Hasil penelitian angket respon siswa di peroleh rata-rata 43,10 dengan presentase 86,21% mendapatkan kreteria (sangat praktis) dan Hasil uji coba keefektifan media pembelajaran darling (kesadaran lingkungan) berbasis flipbook yang dilakukan melalui penyebaran soal latihan dengan responden siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri 25 Palembang. Berdasarkan hasil soal latihan siswa di peroleh total skor rata-rata 84,64 mendapatkan kreteria (sangat efektif). Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Flipbook, Media pembelajaran, Kesadaran lingkungan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of website-based learning media on the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students of SDN 248 Palembang. This study uses a quantitative method with a true experimental design. This study uses two classes, namely the experimental class which is given treatment using website-based ethnomathematics learning media and the control class using conventional methods. All fourth-grade students are the research population, and sampling is done by simple random sampling. The research sample consisted of 63 students, divided into classes IV.A (32 students) and IV.C (31 students). Data collection was carried out by giving an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest) to both classes. Before testing the hypothesis, a normality and homogeneity test was carried out. Furthermore, the hypothesis test used the T-Test (Independent Sample T-Test). The results of the study showed that the t-count value (3.057) > t-table (1.670) was 3.057 > 1.670 with a significance level of 5%. Based on these results, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, which means that there is a significant difference between the numeracy abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class after being given treatment. It is proven that the use of website-based ethnomathematics learning media has an effect on students' numeracy abilities. The average posttest score of students in the experimental class (83.31) is higher than that of the control class (75.24). Thus, it can be concluded that website-based ethnomathematics learning media is effective in improving students' numeracy abilities.

Abstract

Abstract, this study was conducted with the aim of determining whether or not there is an influence of puppet media based on the folklore of Si Pahit Tongue to improve listening skills in grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang. The research method used is the experimental method. The type of research used in this study is using Pre-experimental design. The design used in this study is Pre-experimental design with the One - Shoot Case Study approach. The population and sample in this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang totaling 30 people with 28 boys and 12 girls. This study uses a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques through multiple choice tests. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of SPSS 25. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it shows that improving students' listening skills through folklore assisted by puppet media is more effective than applying conventional models. This is based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 is seen. So it can be concluded that the influence of puppet media based on the folk tale of Si Pater Tongue has an effect on improving listening skills in grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya antusiasme siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar serta keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran yang mengombinasikan teknologi modern dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Tujuan utama dari riset ini yaitu merancang sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis Nearpod yang mengangkat kearifan lokal Palembang untuk mendukung peningkatan mutu pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan, dan penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari pakar materi dan pakar media, media yang dikembangkan dinilai layak digunakan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,5%. Hasil uji coba terbatas pada peserta didik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam capaian belajar dan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan media tersebut. Dari hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 88,8%, tingkat kepraktisan 88,5%, dan rata-rata efektivitas sebesar 76,9%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Nearpod yang memuat konten budaya lokal Palembang ini efektif serta menarik untuk meningkatkan semangat dan hasil belajar siswa. Inovasi ini berpotensi mendukung transformasi pembelajaran digital dan pelestarian warisan budaya di tingkat pendidikan dasar

Abstract

This research aims to improve critical thinking skills using the True or False strategy in social studies learning in elementary school. The research method used by the researcher is quantitative. Sources of data used by researchers are observations, interviews, essay tests,and documentation. The research data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, and N-gain test. The subjects used were 30 students from class VA and 30 students from class VB. The results of the research in the experimental class showed that the essay test could improve critical thinking seen from the posttest normality test in the form of Xcount 36.47 while for Xtable 42.557 which was marked normal, the hypothesis obtained was tcount 7.7 while for ttable 2.00172 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, the N-gain of the experimental class is 60.1 with a good category, the results of observations made by researchers are that students can receive lessons well using the True or False strategy. On the essay sheet in the control class using the lecture method and book media using vidcall, the results of the calculation of the posttest normality test in the form ofXcount 24.45, while for Xtable 42.557 which is marked normal, the N-gain of the experimental class is 46.9% including the low category. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of the True or False strategy can improve students' critical thinking in terms of the experimentalclass experiencing the effectiveness of using the True or False strategy and the control class not being effective because it uses the lecture method.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPS SD bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Mendeskripsikan hasil perancangan bahan ajar mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPS SD bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Mendeskripsikan hasil pengembangan bahan ajar mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPS SD bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian RnD dengan tipe 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar wawancara, lembar angket, lembar observasi. Kelayakan bahan ajar mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPS SD sudah dilakukan tahap validasi ahli. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli diketahui bahwa buku Konsep Dasar IPS SD yang dikembangkan sudah sesuai dengan tujuan pengembangan karena memiliki kategori valid, pada aspek isi 88,1%, aspek konstruk 89,7% dan aspek bahasa 89%. Berdasarkan respon mahasiswa terhadap buku konsep dasar IPS yang dikembangkan memiliki rata-rata skor 43,1. Ini berarti sekitar 80% mahasiswa merespon positif terhadap penggunaan buku, baik dari aspek penyajian bahan ajar, cakupan materi, permaslahan yang disajikan, kesesuaian bahasa dan ketertarikan terhadap bahan ajar. Selain itu, skor rata-rata respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan buku adalah 4,31 dari skala 5, yaitu pada kategori sangat praktis.
