Abstract

The aim of this writing is to improve the learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities of class X students on ecosystem material through the application of the Project Based Learning model. This writing uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings which include planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The writing results show a real increase in students' academic achievement and critical thinking potential.  The product cognitive value increased from an average of 69.83 in cycle I to 87.24 in cycle II, the cognitive process value from 70.66 to 77.32. Affective values from aspects of faith (75.86% to 76.72%), mutual cooperation (74.14% to 81.90%), critical reasoning (64.66% to 76.72%), creativity (63.79 % to 80.17%), and independent (72.41% to 81.90%). Psychomotor value from 70.17% to 77.07%. critical thinking ability increased from 70.80 to 77.47. Student responses to learning were very positive with a score of 90.26%. The implementation of the Project Based Learning model is effective in increasing the academic achievement and critical thinking potential of class X students on ecosystem material. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem melalui implementasi model Project Based Learning. penulisan ini menggunakan metode Penulisan Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penulisan memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang nyata dalam prestasi akademik dan potensi berpikir kritis peserta didik.  Nilai kognitif produk meningkat dari rata-rata 69,83 pada siklus I menjadi 87,24 pada siklus II, nilai kognitif proses dari 70,66 menjadi 77,32. Nilai afektif dari aspek beriman (75,86% menjadi 76,72%), gotong royong (74,14% menjadi 81,90%), bernalar kritis (64,66% menjadi 76,72%), kreatif (63,79% menjadi 80,17%), dan mandiri (72,41% menjadi 81,90%). Nilai psikomotor dari 70,17% menjadi 77,07%. kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat dari 70,80 menjadi 77,47. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran sangat positif dengan skor 90,26%. Implementasi model Project Based Learning efektif terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik dan potensi berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem.

Abstract

Based on initial questionnaire data filled out by Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in Barito Kuala (Batola) Regency and Banjarmasin City, it was found that understanding and application of STEM Coding in schools is still low, so it is necessary to hold a STEM Coding community service workshop. This community service project aims to help participants develop critical thinking, creative, collaborative, and STEM literacy (4C) skills. The four stages of the community service method are planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. A total of 127 teachers participated in the workshops. Speakers from PPSTEMI, Artec Japan, and WOW Singapore presented in the hybrid format event. The material consists of three modules: STEM-based learning, STEM Coding programming with Arduino Basic (Stop and Go), and Intermediate (Controlling a Motorized Car). Activities were evaluated using a response questionnaire, to which 127 people responded. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to (1) describe the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model on cognitive learning outcomes of class XI MA students in the matter of Movement System Disorders in Humans, (2) describes the affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of class XI MA students on the subject of Movement System Disorders in Humans using the problem-based learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 MAN 3 Banjarmasin. The research method used was quasi-experimental to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. The research results show (1) The application of the problem-based learning model to material of Movement System Disorders in Humans has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class XI MA students, namely a symptom sig (2-tailed) value < 0.05, which is 0.000 and the result of cognitive learning processes with the application of the problem-based learning model is in the good category, (2) the affective learning outcomes of student character behavior and social behavior are include in the good to very good category and psychomotor learning outcomes with the application of the problem-based learning model are in the good category. Through this research, we found that there was an effect of applying the problem-based learning model on the subject of Movement System Disorders in Humans on the learning outcomes of class XI MA students

Abstract

Kurangnya bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses transfer ilmu menjadi permasalahan yang harus dihadapi oleh guru. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan dalam membantu guru dalam menyusun pengayaan yaitu melalui pengembangan modul yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan pada kelas VII SMPN 2 Kusan Hilir. Tahap pengembangan meliputi uji small group dan field test. Subjek penelitian 6 siswa untuk small group dan 21 siswa untuk uji field test. Keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dianalisis berdasarkan data di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara keseluruhan pengembangan modul keanekaragaman kepiting di hutan Mangrof kecamatan Kusan Hilir sebagai upaya pengayaan materi konsep klasifikasi makhluk hidup dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan pengayaan siswa SMP. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul keanekaragaman kepiting di hutan Mangrof kecamatan Kusan Hilir sebagai bahan pengayaan konsep klasifikasi mahluk hidup di SMPN 2 Kusan Hilir yang dikembangkan memiliki keunggulan berupa modul mudah dipahami siswa, menggunakan bahasa yang baku, dan menggunakan foto yang jelas sehingga menumbuhkan ketertarikan dan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi digital guru di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut proses pembelajaran mengikuti digitalisasi, namun dalam pembelajaran di kelas guru masih kurang menerapkan literasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat literasi digital dan karakteristik setiap literasi digital guru IPA Biologi SMP Negeri Binuang di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan delapan orang subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian meliputi instrumen lembar tertulis guru (LTG) dan pedoman wawancara. Tingkat literasi digital guru Biologi (LDGB) dikategorikan berdasarkan teori hipotetik dengan empat tingkatan, yaitu LDGB 4 (sangat tinggi), LDGB 3 (tinggi), LDGB 2 (sedang), LDGB 1 (rendah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi digital guru IPA Biologi SMP Negeri Binuang di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 terdiri dari empat tingkatan yaitu LDGB 4 (sangat tinggi), LDGB 3 (tinggi), LDGB 2 (sedang), LDGB 1 (rendah). Saran yang diberikan pada penelitian ini adalah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dan penguatan literasi digital guru SMP Negeri Binuang dalam pembelajaran IPA Biologi di kelas agar pemanfaatan digital lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model PjBL berbasis kearifan lokal pada konsep zat dan perubahan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, melalui analisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang menggunakan model PjBL dan model konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest control grup. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK ISFI Banjarmasin yang terdiri atas 31 peserta didik. Hasil olah data kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen, indikator originality dengan nilai rata-rata 60 merupakan indikator yang paling tinggi, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol indikator yang paling tinggi adalah indikator fleksibility dengan nilai 46. Berdasarkan rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 43 kategori cukup kreatif, sedangkan kelas kontrol 38 yang termasuk dalam kategori kurang kreatif. Analisa data menggunakan uji T non-parametrik yaitu menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis tes terlihat bahwa nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,210, yang berarti nilai tersebut lebih besar dari 0,05 (0,210 > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada cukup bukti untuk menolak hipotesis nol (Ho). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada materi zat dan perubahan. Dengan demikian model PjBL berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.

Abstract

Microplastic pollution has become a significant environmental concern, with recent studies detecting microplastics in various ecosystems and natural products, including those produced by bees. This study investigates the presence, morphology, and distribution of microplastics in products of the stingless bee Heterotrigona itama—specifically honey, pollen, and propolis—collected from six meliponiculture sites within the Meratus Geopark, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Samples were analyzed using stereomicroscopy to identify microplastic types, quantify particles, and measure sizes. The findings reveal that fibers and fragments are the predominant microplastic forms, with urban locations exhibiting higher contamination levels (approximately 309 to 318 particles per 100 ml) compared to rural areas. Notably, one rural site recorded the highest contamination level (approximately 362 particles per 100 ml), suggesting that factors beyond urbanization, such as agricultural practices and atmospheric deposition, contribute to microplastic pollution. The study underscores the role of bees as natural bioindicators for environmental monitoring and highlights the potential risks of microplastic contamination to bee health, food safety, and ecosystem sustainability. These insights are aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12, which advocates for responsible consumption and production.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective self-assessment instrument based on Qur'anic teachings to measure and internalize religious character values. The instrument was designed to evaluate five main aspects: faith, piety, sincerity, righteous deeds, and virtue. Employing a mixed-method approach, the development process included a comprehensive literature review, expert validation, and testing with 71 participants comprising educators and students. Results indicate that the instrument is highly valid (average validation score: 4.5/5), practical (85% usability satisfaction), and effective (88% impact satisfaction). It successfully fosters self-reflection (muhasabah) and enhances the internalization of Qur'anic values such as honesty, patience, and social awareness. The findings underscore the critical role of integrating Qur'anic principles into self-assessment tools to address the challenges of spiritual development in modern education. This instrument offers practical applications for educators at various levels, from schools to higher education, and contributes to the development of character education models rooted in Islamic teachings. Further studies are recommended to explore its application in diverse cultural settings and assess its long-term impact on character building.

Abstract

Pendidikan abad 21 menuntut peserta didik dan guru mampu memiliki kemampuan 6C (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, Citizenship, Character). Salah satu kelengkapan bahan ajar pada kurikulum merdeka yang diterapkan saat ini yaitu LKPD. LKPD elektronik merupakan salah satu sumber pembelajaran yang memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan abad 21. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkarakterisasi seberapa cocok, cocok, dan mudah dibaca siswa dalam menemukan temuan Pengembangan LKPD Elektronik Berbasis PBL pada Topik Keanekaragaman Hayati. Model 4D (Thiagarajan et al., 1974) digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, yang dilakukan hingga tahap difusi terbatas di sekolah ujian dan penerbitan artikel. Instrumen kelayakan dan kelayakan digunakan dalam pendekatan pengumpulan data. Subyek penelitian adalah 37 orang siswa dan tiga orang dokter spesialis XI MIPA SMAN 13 Banjarmasin. Dengan nilai uji kelayakan sebesar 4,52, pengembangan LKPD Elektronik bertema keanekaragaman hayati dinilai sangat tepat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD sangat selaras dengan rangkaian tujuan pembelajaran yang ada. Dengan skor 4,66, kelayakan tergolong sangat layak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD elektronik sebagai sumber belajar siswa sangat tepat. Dua belas siswa menyelesaikan tes membaca, dan nilai mereka 4,56 sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bagaimana siswa secara profesional dapat membaca dan memahami lembar kerja elektronik.

Abstract

Learning the circulatory system in Grade XI high school often encounters challenges due to the lack of interactive media that align with the characteristics of 21st-century learners. Students require technology-based media to help them understand abstract biological concepts such as the circulatory system. This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of Google Sites–based learning media developed using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on circulatory system material. The research employed the 4D development model, involving two experts for validation and nine students for practicality testing. Data were collected using validity and practicality instruments. The results showed that the PBL-based Google Sites media achieved a validity score of 91.07% (“very valid”) and a practicality score of 86.44% (“very practical”). These findings indicate that the developed learning media is feasible for use in teaching the circulatory system to Grade XI high school students. This study provides an innovative solution to address the challenges of circulatory system learning through the integration of interactive and technology-oriented media suited to modern learning needs.
