Abstract

Classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. This research aims to (1) improve learning outcomes through the application of quizizze based e-LKPD in class X students of SMAN 13 Banjarmasin and (2) improve critical thinking skills through the application of quizizzebased e-LKPD in class X students of SMAN 13 Banjarmasin. The sample of this study was 33 students in class X-4 SMAN 13 Banjarmasin. Data analysis techniques through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results of this study showed an increase in product cognitive learning outcomes of students in cycle I 0.47 and in cycle II 0.98, process cognitive learning outcomes through quizizzebased e-LKPD work and poster work in cycle I obtained an average of 75.63 and 13.50, in cycle II obtained an average of 87.50 and 18.25, the results of students' critical thinking skills in cycle I obtained an average of 50.24 and in cycle II obtained an average of 80.91. The results showed an increase in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of quizizz-based e-LKPD is effective in improving learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities of class X students on ecosystem material and environmental change through a problem-based learning model. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Penenlitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui penerapan e-LKPD berbasis quizizz pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 13 Banjarmasin dan (2) meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui penerapan e-LKPD berbasis quizizz pada peserta didik kelas X SMAN 13 Banjarmasin. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 33 orang peserta didik di kelas X-4 SMAN 13 Banjarmasin. Teknik analisis data melalui empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif produk peserta didik pada siklus I 0,47 dan pada siklus II 0,98, hasil belajar kognitif proses melalui pengerjaan e-LKPD berbasis quizizz dan pengerjaan poster pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 75,63 dan 13,50, pada siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 87,50 dan 18,25, hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 50,24 dan pada siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 80,91. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada siklus II. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan e-LKPD berbasis quizizz efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem dan perubahan lingkungan melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah.

Abstract

Cooperative learning offers a promising alternative for improving student understanding. CIRC method (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) and TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) are two types of cooperative learning designed to increase student engagement through collaboration and active interaction. This research aims to explore the application of the CIRC and TGT methods in teaching the human circulatory system, as well as analyzing their impact on the learning outcomes of class XI science students. This research consisted of 2 cycles with 5 meetings. The first cycle was held in 3 meetings, while the second cycle was held in 2 meetings. Cycle 2 is carried out based on the results of reflection from cycle 1. There are several experts who put forward action research models with different charts, but in general there are four stages that are commonly followed, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Analysis of research data which is classified as quantitative data in the form of learning completeness results obtained from pre-test and post-test results is carried out descriptively, namely by calculating classical completeness and individual completeness. Cooperative learning types TGT and on the concept of the human circulatory system at SMAN Banjarmasin are effective in improving student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the lower percentage increase in classical completion in cycle 2 from cycle 1. However, TGT showed a more significant increase in classical completion than CIRC in cycle 2.Pembelajaran kooperatif menawarkan alternatif yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Metode CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) dan TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) merupakan dua tipe pembelajaran kooperatif yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui kolaborasi dan interaksi aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan metode CIRC dan TGT dalam pengajaran sistem peredaran darah manusia, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan 5 kali pertemuan. Siklus pertama dilaksanakan 3 kali pertemuan, sedangkan siklus kedua dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Siklus 2 dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil refleksi dari siklus 1. Beberapa ahli menyusun model penelitian tindakan dengan berbagai bagan, namun umumnya terdapat empat tahapan: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi. Analisis data hasil penelitian yang tergolong data kuantitatif berupa hasil ketuntasan belajar yang diperoleh dari hasil pretes dan postes dilakukan secara deskriptif, yakni dengan menghitung ketuntasan klasikal dan ketuntasan individual. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan CIRC pada konsep sistem peredaran darah manusia di SMAN Banjarmasin efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari persentase kenaikan ketuntusan klasikal pada siklus 2 dari siklus 1 yang lebih rendah. Namun, TGT menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntusan klasikal yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan CIRC pada siklus 2.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of students in the concepts of the circulatory system at MTsN Anjir Muara Kota Tengah and the locomotor system at SMP Negeri 1 Takisung have shown low completeness, below the standard of ≤ 60% and 42.30%, respectively. To address this issue, this study implemented two innovative methods: the cooperative learning model Quick on The Draw and the memory matrix strategy, aiming to improve learning outcomes, student activity, teacher activity, and responses to both methods. The Quick on The Draw cooperative learning model was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Results indicated that this method successfully enhanced student learning outcomes, with classical completeness increasing from 72.72% in cycle I to 90.91% in cycle II. Student engagement improved significantly, as evidenced by increased participation in reading, discussions, and answering questions. Teacher management of learning also improved from a "fairly good" to a "good" category, with 100% of students expressing that the method made learning more engaging and enjoyable. Similarly, the memory matrix strategy was implemented in two cycles, showing a 7.3% increase in learning outcomes, with average scores rising from 83.03 to 87.92. Student activities in reading, discussing, and summarizing improved, although teacher guidance decreased. Overall, both methods proved effective in enhancing student learning outcomes and creating a more active and enjoyable learning environment.Hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran konsep sistem peredaran darah di MTsN Anjir Muara Kota Tengah dan sistem gerak di SMP Negeri 1 Takisung menunjukkan ketuntasan yang masih rendah, yaitu di bawah standar, yaitu ≤ 60% dan 42,30%. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini menerapkan dua metode inovatif: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Quick on The Draw dan strategi matrik ingatan, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, aktivitas guru, serta respon terhadap kedua metode tersebut. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Quick on The Draw dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 72,72% pada siklus I menjadi 90,91% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, terlihat dari peningkatan dalam membaca bahan ajar, berdiskusi, dan aktif menjawab pertanyaan. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran ini sangat positif, dengan 100% menyatakan setuju bahwa metode ini membuat kegiatan belajar lebih menyenangkan. Di sisi lain, strategi matrik ingatan juga menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 7,3%, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 83,03 menjadi 87,92. Secara keseluruhan, kedua metode pembelajaran ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aktif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Biology learning has complex concepts so that many students have difficulty remembering these concepts. This study aims to determine the use of learning strategies using concept maps as an effort to improve student learning outcomes so that there is mastery of the concept of the human respiratory system material. The concept map that has been designed focuses on meaningful learning so that students can more easily understand and remember the material taught. The research conducted was in the form of classroom action research by looking at the comparison of the two studies conducted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out with tests, observations and rubrics. The results of this study were in the form of an analysis of students' cognitive learning. Experiment 1 showed that in cycle I there was an increase in understanding of 87.13% and in cycle II there was an increase in understanding of the concept of 90.36%. While the results of experiment 2 showed that in cycle I there was an increase of 85.30% and in cycle II there was an increase of 92.5%. In addition to increasing learning outcomes, it turns out that concept maps also have an effect on increasing student activity. This can be seen during the learning process, students are more active in seeking information and more enthusiastic in expressing their opinions.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning using concept maps can improve learning outcomes and student activities on the human respiratory system material.Pembelajaran biologi memiliki konsep yang kompleks sehingga banyak peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan untuk mengingat konsep tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran menggunakan peta konsep sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sehingga terjadi penguasaan konsep materi sistem respirasi manusia. Peta konsep yang telah dirancang berfokus pada pembelajaran yang bermakna agar peserta didik lebih mudah memahami dan mengingat materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian yang dilakukan berupa penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melihat perbandingan kedua penelitian yang dilakukan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi dan rubrik. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisis belajar kognitif peserta didik. Pada percobaan 1 menunjukkan siklus I terjadi peningkatan pemahaman  sebesar 87,13% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan pemahaman konsep sebesar 90,36%.  Sedangkan hasil percobaan 2 menunjukkan pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebesar 85,30% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 92,5%. Selain terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar, ternyata peta konsep juga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat pada saat proses pembelajaran peserta didik lebih aktif mencari informasi dan lebih antusias dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan peta konsep dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas peserta didik pada materi sistem respirasi manusia.

Abstract

Due to non-interactive and boring teaching, many students face difficulties in understanding the concept of natural resources. This research aims to improve the learning process of natural resources through the interaction of science skills and problem solving approach. This learning involves problem solving to encourage students to be more active and understand the material more deeply. The research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method implemented in two cycles on grade V elementary school students in South Kalimantan. The research procedure was designed in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of one lesson with an effective duration of four lesson hours, plus additional learning time agreed with the teacher. The results showed a significant improvement in students' concept understanding and problem solving ability from the first cycle to the second cycle. In addition, it was found that teachers' activities in guiding students also improved, although there were still some aspects that needed to be improved. The problem solving approach proved effective in improving student engagement and learning outcomes, as well as encouraging the development of critical and analytical thinking skills. The scientific impact of this study shows that the problem solving approach is generally effective in increasing student engagement in learning, although there are some aspects of guidance that need to be improved by teachers to ensure the sustainability of improved learning outcomes. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the application and problem solving approach in Natural Resources learning can be an effective alternative to improve student learning outcomes.Akibat pengajaran yang tidak interaktif dan membosankan, banyak siswa menghadapi kesulitan untuk memahami konsep sumber daya alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran sumber daya alam melalui interaksi keterampilan sains dan pendekatan problem solving. Pembelajaran ini melibatkan problem solving mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dan memahami materi secara lebih mendalam. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada siswa kelas V SD di Kalimantan Selatan. Prosedur penelitian dirancang dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari satu kali pembelajaran dengan durasi efektif empat jam pelajaran, ditambah waktu belajar tambahan yang disepakati bersama guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa aktivitas guru dalam membimbing siswa turut mengalami peningkatan, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperbaiki. Pendekatan problem solving terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa, serta mendorong pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan analitis. Dampak ilmiah dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan problem solving secara umum efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, meskipun ada beberapa aspek bimbingan yang perlu diperbaiki oleh guru untuk memastikan keberlanjutan peningkatan hasil belajar. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan dan pendekatan problem solving dalam pembelajaran Sumber Daya Alam dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this writing is to improve the learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities of class X students on ecosystem material through the application of the Project Based Learning model. This writing uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings which include planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The writing results show a real increase in students' academic achievement and critical thinking potential.  The product cognitive value increased from an average of 69.83 in cycle I to 87.24 in cycle II, the cognitive process value from 70.66 to 77.32. Affective values from aspects of faith (75.86% to 76.72%), mutual cooperation (74.14% to 81.90%), critical reasoning (64.66% to 76.72%), creativity (63.79 % to 80.17%), and independent (72.41% to 81.90%). Psychomotor value from 70.17% to 77.07%. critical thinking ability increased from 70.80 to 77.47. Student responses to learning were very positive with a score of 90.26%. The implementation of the Project Based Learning model is effective in increasing the academic achievement and critical thinking potential of class X students on ecosystem material. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem melalui implementasi model Project Based Learning. penulisan ini menggunakan metode Penulisan Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penulisan memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang nyata dalam prestasi akademik dan potensi berpikir kritis peserta didik.  Nilai kognitif produk meningkat dari rata-rata 69,83 pada siklus I menjadi 87,24 pada siklus II, nilai kognitif proses dari 70,66 menjadi 77,32. Nilai afektif dari aspek beriman (75,86% menjadi 76,72%), gotong royong (74,14% menjadi 81,90%), bernalar kritis (64,66% menjadi 76,72%), kreatif (63,79% menjadi 80,17%), dan mandiri (72,41% menjadi 81,90%). Nilai psikomotor dari 70,17% menjadi 77,07%. kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat dari 70,80 menjadi 77,47. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran sangat positif dengan skor 90,26%. Implementasi model Project Based Learning efektif terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik dan potensi berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X pada materi ekosistem.

Abstract

There is no popular science book (PSB) on the genus Ficus, especially those that grow and develop specifically in the Lambung Mangkurat University Campus Area, Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru. Equipped with questions and invitations related to critical thinking, the PSB was compiled and then tested. The aim was to measure the effectiveness of the PSB to train students' critical thinking. The valid PSB was tested with a small group test involving 20 students and a field test involving 25 students. In three meetings, the first meeting was only as an exercise and was not assessed and meetings 2 and 3 were assessed by observers, students were asked to carry out practicums based on student worksheets and answer 10 questions. The values were analyzed so that from the small group test the expected effectiveness was obtained and from the field test the actual effectiveness was obtained. An increase in quantitative values occurred from meeting 2 to next meeting, both for expected effectiveness (from 69.10 to 84.60) and actual effectiveness (from 67.80 to 86.10). With an increase from quite good to very good in the two effectiveness, the PSB on the Ficus genus is effective in training students' critical thinking.Abstrak. Belum ada buku ilmu pengetahuan populer (BIP) tentang genus Ficus, apalagi yang tumbuh dan berkembang khusus di Area Kampus Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin dan Banjarbaru. Dilengkapi dengan pertanyaan dan ajakan terkait dengan berpikir kritis, BIP tersebut disusun dan kemudian diuji. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengukur efektivitas BIP itu untuk melatihkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. BIP yang sudah valid diuji dengan uji kelompok kecil yang melibatkan 20 mahasiswa dan uji lapangan yang melibatkan 25 mahasiswa. Dalam tiga pertemuan yang pertemuan pertamanya hanya sebagai latihan dan tidak dinilai serta Pertemuan-2 dan Pertemuan-3 dinilai oleh observer, mahasiswa diminta melaksanakan praktikum berdasarkan lembar kerja mahasiswa dan menjawab 10 pertanyaan. Nilai-nilainya dianalisis sehingga dari uji kelompok kecil diperoleh efektivitas harapan dan dari uji lapangan diperoleh efektivitas aktual. Peningkatan nilai kuantitatif terjadi dari Pertemuan-2 ke Pertemuan-3, baik untuk efektivitas harapan (dari 69,10 ke 84,60) maupun efektivitas aktual (dari 67,80 ke 86,10). Dengan peningkatan dari cukup baik ke sangat baik pada dua efektivitas tersebut, BIP tentang genus Ficus tersebut efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Based on initial questionnaire data filled out by Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in Barito Kuala (Batola) Regency and Banjarmasin City, it was found that understanding and application of STEM Coding in schools is still low, so it is necessary to hold a STEM Coding community service workshop. This community service project aims to help participants develop critical thinking, creative, collaborative, and STEM literacy (4C) skills. The four stages of the community service method are planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. A total of 127 teachers participated in the workshops. Speakers from PPSTEMI, Artec Japan, and WOW Singapore presented in the hybrid format event. The material consists of three modules: STEM-based learning, STEM Coding programming with Arduino Basic (Stop and Go), and Intermediate (Controlling a Motorized Car). Activities were evaluated using a response questionnaire, to which 127 people responded. The findings revealed that, on average, 95.47% of participants thought favorably of this STEM Coding exercise.Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and STEM literacy are among the skills that workshop attendees can acquire—wrapped up this STEM Coding workshop to help them become more STEM literate. Based on initial questionnaire data filled out by Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in Barito Kuala (Batola) Regency and Banjarmasin City, it was found that understanding and application of STEM Coding in schools is still low, so it is necessary to hold a STEM Coding community service workshop. This community service project aims to help participants develop critical thinking, creative, collaborative, and STEM literacy (4C) skills. The four stages of the community service method are planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. A total of 127 teachers participated in the workshops. Speakers from PPSTEMI, Artec Japan, and WOW Singapore presented in the hybrid format event. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to (1) describe the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model on cognitive learning outcomes of class XI MA students in the matter of Movement System Disorders in Humans, (2) describes the affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of class XI MA students on the subject of Movement System Disorders in Humans using the problem-based learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 MAN 3 Banjarmasin. The research method used was quasi-experimental to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. The research results show (1) The application of the problem-based learning model to material of Movement System Disorders in Humans has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class XI MA students, namely a symptom sig (2-tailed) value < 0.05, which is 0.000 and the result of cognitive learning processes with the application of the problem-based learning model is in the good category, (2) the affective learning outcomes of student character behavior and social behavior are include in the good to very good category and psychomotor learning outcomes with the application of the problem-based learning model are in the good category. Through this research, we found that there was an effect of applying the problem-based learning model on the subject of Movement System Disorders in Humans on the learning outcomes of class XI MA students

Abstract

Kurangnya bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses transfer ilmu menjadi permasalahan yang harus dihadapi oleh guru. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan dalam membantu guru dalam menyusun pengayaan yaitu melalui pengembangan modul yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan pada kelas VII SMPN 2 Kusan Hilir. Tahap pengembangan meliputi uji small group dan field test. Subjek penelitian 6 siswa untuk small group dan 21 siswa untuk uji field test. Keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dianalisis berdasarkan data di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara keseluruhan pengembangan modul keanekaragaman kepiting di hutan Mangrof kecamatan Kusan Hilir sebagai upaya pengayaan materi konsep klasifikasi makhluk hidup dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan pengayaan siswa SMP. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul keanekaragaman kepiting di hutan Mangrof kecamatan Kusan Hilir sebagai bahan pengayaan konsep klasifikasi mahluk hidup di SMPN 2 Kusan Hilir yang dikembangkan memiliki keunggulan berupa modul mudah dipahami siswa, menggunakan bahasa yang baku, dan menggunakan foto yang jelas sehingga menumbuhkan ketertarikan dan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.
