Abstract

Purpose: This study analyses the impact of inflation, economic growth, and previous stock prices on manufacturing companies’ stock prices in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Understanding macroeconomic factors that influence the Islamic capital market, particularly in the context of stock price volatility, is urgent. Design/Method/Approach: The quantitative research method with multiple linear regression analysis. Secondary data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and other online sources, covering the research period from 2021 to 2023. Data analysis was conducted using the E-Views 10 software. Findings: The research results indicate that inflation does not have a significant partial effect on the stock prices of manufacturing companies in the JII. In contrast, economic growth and previous period stock prices have a positive and significant impact. Simultaneously, inflation, economic development, and previous period stock prices influence stock prices in the JII. Originality/Values: These findings highlight that investors must consider various economic factors when making investment decisions.

Abstract

Pasar modal syariah di Indonesia berkembang seiring dengan meningkatnya minat investor terhadap instrumen keuangan yang sesuai prinsip Islam. Salah satu indikator utama dalam menilai kinerja pasar modal syariah adalah kapitalisasi pasar Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inflasi, jumlah uang beredar (JUB), dan kurs terhadap kapitalisasi pasar ISSI, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, untuk memahami sejauh mana variabel-variabel makroekonomi tersebut memengaruhi dinamika pasar saham syariah di Indonesia. Inflasi, jumlah uang beredar, kurs dan kapitalisasi pasar Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan menggunakan data time series dari OJK dan BPS. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah periode Januari 2016 sampai dengan Maret 2025 sebanyak 39 sampel setelah dilakukan interpolasi data. Software Eviews 10 dan regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, jumlah uang beredar dan kurs berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapitalisasi pasar Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia, sedangkan inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan, inflasi, jumlah uang beredar dan kurs berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapitalisasi pasar Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara pengekspor komoditas perikanan dan menempati peringkat 11 dunia, selain itu juga menguasai pangsa pasar ekspor sebesar 3,2% pada 2021 (atau mencapai USD5,26 miliar).Perdagangan internasional memegang peranan penting dalam mesin pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara. Menurut Adam Smith melalui perdagangan, sumber daya dunia dapat digunakan secara efisien dan dapat memaksimumkan kesejahteraan dunia. Udang merupakan komoditas di sektor perikanan yang memiliki kontribusi besar terhadap nilai ekspor Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untk mengetahui daya saing ekspor udang beku sebagai makanan halam dalam perspektif islam. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya saing udang beki indonesia di lima negara dipengaruhi oleh jumlah penduduk dan pendapatan perkapita setiap negara

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an influence of the digital economy, Investment, and ZIS funds on economic growth in Indonesia. The dependent variable that is applied is Economic Growth, for the independent variables that are applied are the digital economy, Investment, and ZIS funds. In this study, a multiple linear regression model was used to analyze and use time-series data which was interpolated into monthly data from 2017 to 2021. The data used in this study was secondary data which was completed using the Eviews 10 application. The hypothesis testing results show that partially the digital economy has a significant influence on economic growth in Indonesia, partially, Investment has a significant influence on economic growth in Indonesia, and partially ZIS funds also have a significant influence on economic growth in Indonesia. The digital economy, Investment, and ZIS funds together have an influence on economic growth in Indonesia. This means that the ZIS Digital Economy, Investment, and Fund variables are able to provide an explanation of economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

Financial inclusion is the ability of the community to access various financial institutions, products and services according to the needs and capabilities of the community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial inclusion of MSMEs in Medan City related to the obstacles faced in accessing financing from formal financial institutions, analyze the understanding of financial literacy, and the understanding in accessing technology/fintech that can increase financial inclusion. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The findings of the study show that there are MSMEs in Medan City who have not had access to formal financial services, a basic understanding of financial literacy, and the adoption and optimal use of digital/fintech payment systems are still challenges for MSME actors.

Abstract

Purpose — The objective of this study is to examine the impact of women's dual roles on the economic welfare of their families, as well as the extent to which consumption patterns can moderate this effect. Method — This study utilized a quantitative research approach. The target population consisted of housewives residing in Sei Sijenggi Village. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 110 participants. Data collection involved administering a questionnaire specifically designed for housewives in Sei Sijenggi Village. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test.Result — The findings indicated a substantial impact of women's dual roles on the economic welfare of their families. Additionally, the study revealed that consumption patterns significantly influence family economic welfare. Furthermore, consumption patterns were found to play a significant moderating role in the relationship between women's dual roles and family economic welfare.Contribution — This research aims to contribute academically by uncovering the precise influence of housewives' dual roles as a benchmark for family economic welfare, emphasizing the significance of housewives' consumption patterns in effectively managing expenditure to attain economic well-being within the family.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of brand awareness of Momoyo products among Medan City residents. This study measures consumer familiarity and memory of Momoyo products using four main indicators: top of mind, brand recall, brand recognition, and brand ignorance. A qualitative approach with descriptive methodology was used in this study. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured in-depth interviews and supported by documentation. The research subjects consisted of Medan City residents who were selected as informants. The data analysis process was carried out through several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Momoyo products have achieved a satisfactory level of brand awareness among Medan City residents.

Abstract

The present research focuses on examining, from the perspective of maqashid sharia, the role of e-money usage and Shopee Paylater on the impulse buying tendencies of FEBI UINSU students. A quantitative approach was employed, using purposive sampling to select 60 respondents. This study aims to examine how the use of e-money and Shopee PayLater influences impulse buying behavior among FEBI UINSU students, while also assessing its implications through the lens of maqashid sharia. Data information gathered through surveys was evaluated using multiple linear regression analysis. The study results show that both e-money and Shopee PayLater have a notable effect on students’ impulse buying tendencies. The result is the use of electronic money positively influences the impulsive buying behavior of FEBI UINSU students. The ease of transactions and attractive promotions offered by electronic money platforms encourage unplanned purchases. Similarly, the use of Shopee PayLater also shows a positive impact on impulsive buying, as its discount features and deferred payment options stimulate greater consumer spending. Furthermore, the combined use of e-money and Shopee PayLater significantly increases students’ tendency toward impulsive purchases. From the perspective of maqasid sharia, this behavior can be assessed through five dimensions: protection of property, intellect, life, lineage, and religion. Impulse buying, particularly when excessive, can result in waste and inefficient use of wealth, which contradicts the Islamic principle of prudent financial management. Moreover, such behavior often overlooks rational decision-making, which should form the basis of consumption choices.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the effect of contribution income, claim expenses, and risk-based capital on PT's profitability. Asuransi Jiwa Mitra Syariah Tbk. (JMAS). In contemporary times, the demand for financial security is growing, leading insurance to have a significant role in handling the risks faced by clients. This research employs a quantitative approach utilizing secondary data derived from the company's yearly financial reports for the years 2017-2024, comprising a population and sample of 32 data points, with the sampling method being a saturated sample. The study's results indicate that contribution income has a negligible impact on profitability, as claim burden follows contribution income. At the same time, claims costs greatly influence profitability. Conversely, risk-based capital (RBC) has minimal impact on profitability, underscoring the necessity of effective fund management. This conclusion indicates that these elements need to be effectively managed to enhance the financial performance of Islamic insurance firms. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on the creative economy play a strategic role in driving national economic growth and creating inclusive employment opportunities. However, amid the post-pandemic economic dynamics and accelerated digital transformation, the development of creative MSMEs faces complex structural and cultural challenges. This study aims to identify key barriers and formulate effective development strategies for creative economy-based MSMEs in Indonesia. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research reviews and synthesizes 42 relevant academic publications sourced from reputable databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and SINTA. The analysis employed meta-synthesis and content analysis techniques to reveal thematic patterns and relationships between strategic variables. The findings indicate that the primary obstacles include limited access to financing, low levels of digital and entrepreneurial literacy, and inadequate institutional support. Meanwhile, the most effective development strategies encompass business digitalization, entrepreneurship training, multi-stakeholder collaboration, business model innovation, and policy reforms based on intellectual property rights. This study contributes conceptually by mapping thematic strategies for the development of creative MSMEs, while also offering a foundation for formulating more contextual, responsive, and sustainable empowerment policies and practices. The article is expected to serve as a vital reference for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners in promoting the sustainability and competitiveness of creative economy-based MSMEs in Indonesia.
