Abstract

A virtual laboratory is one of the innovative solutions in physics learning, especially to overcome the limitations of space, time, and conventional practical tools. This study aims to analyse the effect of elevation angle on the characteristics of parabolic motion, namely the highest point, farthest range, and maximum travel time. The research method used is a simulation-based quantitative experiment using the PhET Projectile Motion platform. The simulation was conducted with a fixed initial velocity of 10 m/s at three elevation angle variations: 30°, 45°, and 60°, with each angle tested 15 times. Results show that the elevation angle significantly affects all observed variables. The maximum height was reached at an angle of 60°, the furthest horizontal reach was obtained at an angle of 45°, and the longest time to peak occurred at an angle of 60°. However, the relationship between elevation angle and parabolic motion outcomes was not linear. These findings strengthen the theoretical understanding of bullet motion and show that virtual simulation can be a valid and effective alternative medium for the exploration of physics concepts. The integration of virtual laboratories such as PhET into the learning process is recommended to improve the quality of students' understanding of two-dimensional motion phenomena.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the development process and feasibility of Android application-based physics learning media, the implementation of learning activities, and the improvement of students' higher-order thinking skills. The research method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The sample consisted of 36 eleventh-grade students from a public high school in Bandung Regency. The results of the study indicate that the developed Android application-based physics learning media is highly feasible, achieving an average validation and small-scale trial score of 86%. Learning activities were effectively implemented, with an average percentage of teacher activities reaching 93% and student activities 90%. Hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05 resulted in a calculated t-value of 43.135, compared to a critical t-value of 2.0345. It can thus be concluded that students' higher-order thinking skills improved significantly after learning through the Android application-based physics learning media on the topic of mechanical waves, with an N-gain score of 0.74.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe; (1) Differences in the application of learning models (TPS, TPSq, and Conventional) to PAI learning outcomes; (2) Knowing Iqra's reading ability in terms of the economic factors of the student's parents in categories (Upper, Middle and Lower); (3) Seeing whether there is an interaction between the learning model and Iqra's reading ability in determining PAI learning outcomes. The approach taken in this research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study was grade 1 students at SDIT Nur El-Qolam Serang Banten consisting of 76 students. The instruments used consist of; (1) the test determines PAI learning outcomes through a questionnaire with a questionnaire of 25 questions, including; 20 PG and 5 Essays. (2) test the ability to read Iqra through an oral test, namely reading the book Iqra volume 2. The data analysis technique in this research uses two-way ANOVA analysis. The results of this research show that; (1) There are differences in student PAI learning outcomes based on learning models (TPS, TPSq, and Conv); (2) There is no difference in student PAI learning outcomes based on Iqra reading ability in terms of the economic factors of the students' parents categories (Upper, Middle and Lower); (3) And there is no interaction between the Learning Model and Iqra reading ability in determining Student PAI Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The development of environmentally friendly composites from natural fibers is an absolute thing to do to replace non-degradable synthetic composites. Some of the weaknesses of natural fiber composites are low mechanical strength, ease of cracking, no moisture resistance, and high-temperature resistance. One of the things that has been done is to make a combination of synthetic materials as a matrix derived from unsaturated polyester reinforced with natural fibers from crushed rice husk particles and starch from sago flour which is used to reduce the percentage of synthetic materials to be able to form composites that are easily decomposed. From the research, it was found that the strength of crack resistance could be increased with a mixture of polyester reinforced with rice husk fiber and sago flour, obtaining an increase in crack resistance strength until the addition of rice husk with a percentage of 15%. While increasing the RH content above 15%, the crack strength value decreases due to the saturation of the RH molecules in the UP which is no longer bound to the UP molecules. The highest crack strength values occurred for the addition of the percentage of RH and SS to the UP material with the addition of 5% SS, which obtained a cracking force of 550 N while the strength of pure polyester was only 37 N. This shows that RH and SS materials can bond with UP molecules and some molecules of RH and SS can prevent cross-linking of polyester molecules. Meanwhile, the addition of SS up to 10% decreases the fracture force obtained, indicating that not all of the sago starch can bind to the polyester molecules.

The results show CORE-based Electronic-modules after validation an average feasibility of 80% and the implementation of learning activities using CORE-based Electronic-modules an average of 84% including in the very good category. Student worksheets with an implementation percentage of 81% with effective criteria Enhancing students' problem-solving skills of 0.64 with moderate interpretation. The results of hypothesis testing using a paired obtained a tcount of 31.00 > ttable of 2.04. The results show there are differences in problem-solving skills after the implementation of CORE-based electronic modules. The CORE-based electronic modules are feasible to use in the classroom learning process and can improve students' problem-solving skills on impulse-momentum material
