Abstract

Abstract: The research has been conducted at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru which aims to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of equilibrium ions and pH buffer solutions in class XI MIPA. This type of research is an experimental study with a design Randomized Control Group pretest-posttest.. The sample from the study was students of class XI MIPA 2 as an experimental class. The experimental class is the class applied to the SAVI model. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, t count> t table is 4,296 > 1.67, with category of improving learning outcomes is 0,79 which is a high category.It can be concluded that the application of SAVI Model can improve student learning outcomes in the points of equilibrium ions and pH buffer solution in the class X MIPA of 2 Pekanbaru State High School with category of improving learning outcomes is 0,79 which is a high category.Key Words: Learning, Learning outcomes, equilibrium ions and pH buffer solution

Abstract

Abstract: Objective of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of students and is to look the effect of it on the subject of solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp) through an application of learning models Generative Learning in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The conducted research type is quasi experimental study using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest.. The subject of this study was all of the students of Class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. Samples from this study was students of class XI IPA2 as experimental class and class XI IPA1 as control class, this sample was randomly selected using Cluster Random Sampling Tecnique. Experimental class was given experimental treatment using Generative Learning Model, while the control class was treated using usual method dicussion. Based on the results of research, mean scores in experimental class was 84,38, while control class was 79,02. From hypothesis testing data analysis obtained t>ttable ie 2.17>1.67 and based on analysis data using logistic regression obtained value of 7,5%. It means the use of learning model generative learning could improve learning outcomes of student on the subject solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp) in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru with effect of 7,5%.Key Words: Generative Learning, Results Learning, Solubility and Constant SolubilityProduct (Ksp)

Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to determine the quality of odd semester exam chemistry lesson for class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru in academic year 2013/2014 viewed from relevance of indicator item and distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom, level of difficulty, discrimination index, distracter effectiveness, test item validity, reliability. This research is descriptive ex post facto. Population includes all students in grade XI IPA SMAN 10 as 177 students. Sample consisted 96 students from 27% upper group and 27% lower group. The result from relevance item of indicator showed that from 40 test items there were 97,5% relevance to the test indicator and 2,5% were not relevance to the test indicator. The result from distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom there was comparison C1:C2:C3:C4:C5:C6 is 15%:45%:40%:0%:0%:0% respectively. The result of analysis from level of difficulty there was 12,5% easy test item, 82,5% was medium and 5% was difficult. Furthermore the discrimination index there was 2,5% so bad test item discrimination, 15% bad discrimination, 32,5% medium discrimination, and 50% good discrimination. Viewed from the distracter effectiveness 42,5% had good function and 57,5% could not do their function well. Analysis of test item validity there were 85% valid and 15% were not valid. Reliability of the test was r11 = 0,86. Based on the result of this test can be said to have a low quality with classification readmission items obtained 27,5% items received, 70% repaired, and 2,5% rejected. Abstract

Abstrac: The research aims to increase the students achievement on the subject colloid in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research is a kind of experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA 4 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning model with Problem Posing type while the control class was not applied. Data analysis technique used the t-test. The result of research showed tarithmetic>ttable that was 4,82 > 1,67 that mean the application cooperative learning model with Problem Posing type can to increase the students achievement on the subject colloid in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru with N-gain is 0,82 that mean category of enhancement's students achievement high category.Key Word : Problem Posing, Achievement, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of applying quartet card game media in learning outcomes of students on the subject of Hydrocarbons in the classroom Hikmah X MA Darel Pekanbaru . This type of research is experimental by Design Randomized Control group pretest-posttest. The population is all class Hikmah X Darel Pekanbaru that consists of 7 classes. Sample in this research consisted of two grade obtained after the test of normality and homogeneity, are class X5 and X7. The experimental class was applied with quartet card game media and control class by traditional learning. The data was analysed used t-test with signifcance level (α=0,05) and dk=44, based on the analysis and processing of data obtainable tcount>ttable is 2.82>1.68, this mean that the application of the media can improve the quartet card game student learning outcomes on the subject of Hydrocarbons in the of X class of Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce the essay test instrument critical thinking ability on the material reaction rate and know the validity and reliability of the test instrument. Research method using 4D model with four stages that is define, design, development, & disseminate, but done only until development stage (development). The test developed in the study consisted of fourteen items of essay referring to Ennis's critical thinking indicator of 10 indicators and the cognitive level of Bloom's Taxonomy C4-C5. The validation of the item is done by five validators with expert validity and content validity. Based on the validity according to the expert obtained average every aspect of the material 93,30%, construction 94,64% and language 92,29% with the average score of the overall validation of 93,41% has a valid category. While the content validity with Aikens formula obtained the average validation count of 0.92 categories is very good and all questions declared valid. Fourteen valid questions were tested for 30 students. The calculation of reliability coefficient (r11) with Alpha Cronbach formula obtained by 0.687 high category. The developed test instrument is considered valid and reliable so it can be used as a measuring tool to know the critical thinking ability of learners.Key word: Research & development, critical thinking test instrument,reaction rate

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing of learning model probing prompting on the structure ofatoms in the class X SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The from on the study was an experiment with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted two class, class X MIPA 4 as experiment class and class X MIPA 3 as control class randomly determined after the normality test using Liliefors testand homogenity test. Instrument in this research is a question of atomic structure that has been test validation and reliability. The Results LKPD of the test is 89,5% and results reliability of the test is 0,937. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model on the atomic structure subject in the class X MIA MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The from of the study was an experiment with a randomizedControl Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample in the X MIA 4class experimental class and the X MIA 3 a the control class randomly determined after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experimental class was treated with the application of learning Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) namely, data analisysis for hypothesis testing is done using the right-party t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained thitung = 9,5thitungand ttable = 1,67. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students on the subject of chemical bonding through the application of learning models Generative Learning in class X SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru MIA. Type of research is experimental study using pretest-posttest design. Research conducted at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Samples from this study are students of class X MIA2 as an experimental class and the students in class X MIA1 as the control class, this sample was randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity in both samples. In the learning process experimental class and control class using the scientific approach to the curriculum beracuan 2013. Classes are classes given experimental treatment using Generative Learning learning model, while the control class is the class that was treated using the usual method implementation discussion. Based on the results of hypothesis testing data analysis obtained t> t table ie 2.99> 1.67, this shows the differences in learning outcomes of students before and after the study material chemical bonds with and without the use of learning model Generative Learning in class X SMA Negeri 9 MIA Pekanbaru. Key Words: Generative Learning, Results Learning, Institute of Chemistry

Abstract

Abstract: This Research was aimed to find out the relationship and the magnitude of the relationship between student’s perception of chemistry with chemistry student learning result SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The kind of research is quantitative-qualitative research which used survey method, correlational and interview. The population of research is all student SMAN 9 Pekanbaru year lesson 2013/2014. The sample consisted of 246 people of class X, XI science, and XII science. Data collection techniques are documentation technique, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis technique is the correlation test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 6.817 > ttable is 1.645 it which means that the hypotheses is accepted or with the other word there is relationship between student’s perception of chemistry with chemistry student learning result SMAN 9 Pekanbaru with the magnitude of the relationship is 16%.Keywords : Perception, Chemistry Lesson, Learning Result.
