Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research was to determine and amount of the misconception rate in X MIA class of Senior High School Negeri 8 Pekanbaru on chemical bonding. The research has been done in January-May 2017 by using descriptive method with simple random sampling to determined by Krejcie and Morgan formulas, the total of samples are 136 students. The instrument is a Three-Tier Diagnostic Test. Validating of instrument through content validity by material expert, construct validity using product moment correlation,and reliability using split half. Research result shown that the instrument was good and valid with instrument reliability value was 0,623, the percentage of students who had misconceptions 39,90% and including misconceptions medium category. Students, misconception that: (1) stability elements and octet rules misconceptions low category, (2 )drawing of Lewis symbol and structures misconceptions medium category, (3) ionic bonding and covalent bonding misconceptions medium category, (4) physical properties of ionic and covalent compounds misconceptions medium category,(5) metalic bonding misconceptions medium category, (6) polar and nonpolar covalent misconceptions medium category, (7) exclusion and failure octet rule misconceptions low category.Key Words : Misconception, Three tier diagnostic test, Chemical bonding

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of students ' learning achievement in the application of the Learning Discovery Learning model on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of class salt solution XI SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research with draft research using the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population consists of 4 classes and the samples consist of 2 randomly selected classes namely the XI MIPA 1 class as the experimental class and the XI MIPA 2 class as the control class. Experiment classes are given the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model while the control class has no Discovery learning model. Research instruments are objective questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Research hypothesis testing using right-side test-T. Based on the results of data analysis obtained that the value of tcount = 10 > ttable = 1.67 then the hypothesis accepted this means that increasing students ' learning achievements with the application of discovery learning models are acceptable.Key Words: Discovery learning Model Learning, learning achievement, Ion equilibrium and the pH of salt solution

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the activity and mastery learning students on the material elements of class X.10 Senior High School of class X.10. This form of research is the Research Action Class . The study was conducted collaboratively, where researchers and teachers cooperate at this stage of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The implementation of the actions carried out by teachers, while a researcher as an observer. The research subject is class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang year 2016/2017 which amounted to 37 students, consisting of 17 male students and 20 female students. The research results obtained are the use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutinment media can improve the learning activities of students of class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage average cycle I of 70,57% and 85,89% for the second cycle. The use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutainment media can improve learning completeness students in class X.10 of SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage amounted to 91,90% the first cycle and the second cycle of 100%.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop chemoentrepreneurship oriented chemistry learning modules (CEP) on polymer materials in class XII SMA / MA. This research was conducted at the Chemistry Education Campus of the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) of RiauUniversity. When the research began in September-December 2019. This study uses a type of Research and Development (RnD) research with a 4D research model consisting of 4 stages namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In this study, researchers only reached the development stage. Data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets and respondent sheets. Data analysis was performed using evaluation criteria for the level of validity, the level of practicality by the teacher and the level of attractiveness according to students. The results of the chemoentrepreneurship oriented chemistry learning module (CEP) on polymeric materials get a value of 92.35%. with valid criteria, the teacher's response as a user to the practicality of the module gets a value of 91.67% and the response of students as users to the attractiveness of the module gets a value of 90.67% with interesting criteria. Thus, chemoentrepreneurship oriented chemistry learning modules (CEP) in the grade XII SMA / MA polymer materials have been well developed and ready to be implemented on a broader scale.KeyWords: Module, chemoentrepreneurship(CEP), polymer

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. The research were implemented in SMAN 9 Pekanbaru started at beggining May until June 2015. Population of this research is class X1 until class X4. The research is using randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The Analysis technique used normality Liliefors to see same variance samples. After doing normality and Homogeneity test. The samples of this research were the students of class X1 as the experimental class and students of class X3 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to media Exe Learning while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data dk (34 +34)-2 =66 and α= 0,05 obtained ttable 1,66 and tcount 4,29. tcount> ttable is 4,29>1.66, means  that the application of media Exe Learning can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,70. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,58. Keywords : Achievement of Learning, Exe Learning, Hidrokarbon

Abstract

This purpose of this study was to determine the influence of ICT utilization as pedagogical and professional competencies to support the professionalism of chemistry teachers. This study used a quantitative method through a survey approach with 157 chemistry teachers. The survey was conducted to obtain the data through questionnaires. The results indicated that the ICT utilization in the learning as pedagogical and profesional competencies significantly influenced toward the professionalism of chemistry teachers with the sig. 0,000<α = 0.05. Simultaneously, the use of ICT in the learning as a pedagogical competence and the ICT utilization in communicating and developing themselves as professional competencies had a significant effect on supporting the professionalism of high school chemistry teachers that was indicated by the analysis result of the F 0,000 test probability value. It was smaller than α = 0.05. The use of ICT needs to be improved by designing various efforts in the learning process i.e.,  conducting an education and ICT training to achieve the teacher skills in utilizing the ICT to support the teacher professionalism. The chemistry teachers should utilize the ICT in learning and follow an ICT training. The local government has to fix the facility and infrastructure as well as the evaluation and regulation of the ICT utilization in school to suppert the teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran eliciting activities dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hidrokarbon di kelas XI SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. Penelitian merupakan jenis penelitian quasi exsperiment menggunakan rancangan randomized pretest-posttest control group. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas XI SMAN 15 Pekanbaru, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 2 dan MIA 3 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. Pada penelitian ini digunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Uji normalitas secara Liliefors yang bertujuan untuk melihat normalitas data, sedangkan uji homogenitas bertujuan menguji kesamaan varians dan uji kesamaan rata-rata dengan menggunakan uji F dan uji-t. Uji hipotesis untuk meningkatkan self efficacy (keyakinan diri) dan hasil belajar dihitung dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil uji-t adalah thitung > ttabel yaitu 19,75 > 1,67, dapat disimpulkan model eliciting activities dapat meningkatkan self efficacy. Sedangkan korelasi antara self efficacy (keyakinan diri) dengan hasil belajar dihitung menggunakan uji product moment. Penerapan model eliciting activities dapat meningkatkan self efficacy (keyakinan diri) dan hasil belajar. Nilai korelasi (r) nya adalah 0,8079 > 0,392, dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi positif yang sangat kuat antara self efficacy (keyakinan diri) dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hidrokarbon.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran kimia berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) pada materi polimer di kelas XII SMA/MA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kampus Pendidikan Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Riau. Waktu penelitian dimulai pada bulan September-Desember 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (RnD) dengan model penelitian 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa validasi dan lembar responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan evaluasi tingkat validitas, tingkat kepraktisan oleh guru dan tingkat daya tarik menurut siswa.Hasil chemoentrepreneurship oriented chemistry learning module (CEP) pada materi polimer mendapatkan nilai sebesar 92,35%. dengan kriteria valid, respon guru sebagai pengguna terhadap kepraktisan modul mendapat nilai 91,67% dan respon siswa sebagai pengguna terhadap daya tarik modul mendapat nilai 90,67% dengan kriteria menarik. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran kimia berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) pada materi polimer kelas XII SMA/MA telah berkembang dengan baik dan siap untuk diimplementasikan dalam skala yang lebih luas. 67% dengan Kriteria menarik. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep-konsep yang miskonsepsi, besarnya tingkat miskonsepsi, dan kategori tingkat miskonsepsi peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru pada materi struktur atom dan sistem periodik unsur. Penelitian telah dilakukan pada bulan November-Desember 2018 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel  dilakukan  menggunakan  teknik  Simpel  Random  Sampling  dengan  rumus Krejcie  dan  Morgan,  sehingga  didapatkan  sampel  sebanyak  150  peserta  didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes diagnostik pilihan ganda tiga tingkat (three tier). Validasi instrumen melalui validitas isi oleh ahli materi, validitas konstruk menggunakan korelasi product moment, dan reliabilitas menggunakan belah dua (split half). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen yang disusun sangat baik dan valid dengan nilai reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,85, ditemukan bahwa persentase peserta didik yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 38,00% dan persentase tersebut termasuk miskonsepsi kategori sedang. Miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik adalah: (1) Perkembangan teori atom miskonsepsi kategori rendah, (2) Nomor atom dan nomor massa miskonsepsi kategori sedang, (3) Isotop, Isobar dan Isoton  miskonsepsi kategori sedang, (4) Bilangan kuantum miskonsepsi kategori sedang, (5) Golongan dan periode miskonsepsi kategori sedang, (6) Sifat keperiodikan unsur

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising the management of science laboratory at Junior High School Pekanbaru, which is also seen from the gender and the type of school. In analyzing the data, the researches used a quantitative approach with the number of population was 56 head laboratories. Data collection methods are questionnaires and observations. To analyze the data, the researcher was used descriptive technique, sample t-test, and one way anova test. The results of the study showed the following 1) In the descriptive management of planning laboratories have an average of 4,168; organizing 4,254; supervision 3,815; and implementation of 4,118. 2) In the sample test the school type t-test found differences in planning and organizing, while the aspects of supervision and implementation there was no difference 3) In one way test the period of work found that planning and organizing 0-10 years and 11-20 years, 0-10 years and 21-30 years there are differences while there are no differences between 11-20 years and 21-30 years. Whereas the aspects of supervision and implementation there is no difference in all periods of work.
