Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang kebutuhan variasi dalam metode pembuka pembelajaran di TK Puspita Asih. Hal ini sebagai upaya memfasilitasi  beragamnya kemampuan anak dalam berbahasa ekspresif yang sedang dalam masa pondasional, jika tidak dioptimalkan akan menimbulkan dampak panjang untuk kemampuan berbicara dan menghambat komunikasi dalam proses belajar,  mengingat struktur kalimat pantun sederhana dan berpola akan memudahkan anak mengingat tutur  kalimat, selain itu pantun merupakan warisan budaya nusantara. Tujuan penelitian yaitu peningkatan keterampilan dalam berbahasa ekspresif  pada fase pondasi dengan pantun berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian 12 anak di kelompok B.Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi.Teknik analisis data dipandu oleh fakta-fakta yang ditemukan pada saat penelitian di kelas kemudian diolah dengan rumus persentase. Hasil penerapan pantun pada siklus pertama hanya 1 indikator mencapai standar keberhasilan pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Siklus kedua capaian indikator 1 dan 2 masuk kategori berkembang dengan baik dengan masing-masing persentase sebesar 93,1% dan 83,3%. Untuk indikator 3 dan 4 mencapai 75% artinya berada pada kategori berkembang sesuai harapan. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan menurut standar keberhasilan dari hasil minimal 51%, maka  disimpulkan penerapan pantun di kelompok B, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif. This study is based on the need for variation in the method of opening learning in Puspita Asih Kindergarten. This is an effort to facilitate the diverse abilities of children in expressive language who are in the foundational period, if not optimized it will have a long-term impact on speaking skills and hinder communication in the learning process, considering that the simple and patterned sentence structure of pantun will make it easier for children to remember sentences, besides pantun is a cultural heritage of the archipelago. The purpose of the study is to improve skills in expressive language in the foundation phase with pantun based on local wisdom. The research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. The research subjects were 12 children in group B. Data collection techniques through observation. Data analysis techniques were guided by facts found during research in the classroom and then processed using a percentage formula. The results of the application of pantun in the first cycle only 1 indicator reached the success standard in the developing category according to expectations. In the second cycle, the achievement of indicators 1 and 2 entered the category of developing well with percentages of 93.1% and 83.3% respectively. For indicators 3 and 4 reaching 75%, meaning they are in the developing category according to expectations. This shows an increase according to the success standard of a minimum result of 51%, so it is concluded that the application of rhymes in group B can improve expressive language skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasikan pembelajaran berbasis multikultural pada mahasiswa jurusan kebidanan Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin dengan beberapa penemuan: pertama, memandang keberagaman mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi untuk dapat difungsikan oleh keberadaan tenaga pengajar dalam pendekatan pembelajaran. Kedua, membantu membangun perbedaan yang positif terhadap perilaku keberagamaan kultur, ras etnik dan kelompok keagamaan lainnya yang berada pada penerapan pendekatan multikultural. Ketiga, membantu memberikan ketahanan mahasiswa dengan cara mengajar mereka dalam mengambil keputusan dan keterampilan sosialnya. keempat, untuk membantu peserta didik dalam membangun ketergantungan lintas budaya dan memberi gambaran positif kepada mereka mengenai perbedaan kelompok. Selain itu, proses pendekatan dalam pembelajaran berbasis multikultural dibangun atas dasar konsep pendidikan untuk kebebasan dalam membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan dalam berpartisipasi dan kebebasan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Latar belakang: . Tembelekan merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang berkhasiat sebagai obat tradisional, dan kosmetik, contohnya sediaan gel ekstrak daun tembelekan memiiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat, antibakteri. Aktivitas farmakologi ditentukan oleh senyawa metabolit sekunder. Kandungan tersebut dapat diketahui dari suatu simplisia melalui identifikasi fitokimia. Tempat tumbuh dapat mempengaruhi kandungan kimia tanaman.Tujuan :  untuk mengetahui nilai rendemen dan identifikasi kandungan metabolit pada ekstrak daun tembelekan (EDT) hasil ekstraksi maserasi yang diambil dari Kota Kendari.Metode penelitian: daun tembelekan asal kota Kendari dibuat simplisia kering dan diekstraksi dengan teknik maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Ekstrak cair diuapkan dengan  rotavapor lalu hasil ekstrak kentalnya  diidentifikasi metabolit sekunder  dengan menggunakan reagen spesifik. Nilai rendemen dihitung dari ekstrak kental yang diperoleh.Hasil: nilai rendemen maserat  EDT  adalah 5,42%. identifikasi metabolit sekunder (IMS)  eksrak daun tembelekan didapatkan  senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin dan tanin.  Kesimpulan: nilai rendemen EDT hasil maserasi dan kandungan metabolit sekundernya dapat dijadikan data referensi dalam  pengembangan  obat alam dari EDT. Kata kunci: ekstrak daun tembelekan, Kendari, metabolit sekunder, nilai rendemen.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education management based on the Sundanese Degungan culture at SDN Margaluyu, Cugenang District. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, enabling an in-depth understanding of the planning, implementation, and impact of applying the Sundanese Degungan culture on strengthening students' character. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies, gathering information from various sources, such as the school principal, teachers, and students. The results show that the application of Sundanese Degungan culture at SDN Margaluyu has a positive impact on strengthening students' character, particularly in the dimensions of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), creativity, and independence. The character education management process involves various parties and is carried out in an environment that supports the formation of character in line with local values. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to provide an accurate description of the implementation of character education based on local culture at the school

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of management functions in the form of planning, organizing, mobilizing, and monitoring carried out at the Integrated Hajj and Umrah Service Center (PLHUT) Bekasi Regency in improving services to prospective pilgrims. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach which aims to describe and provide an explanation of the implementation of management functions in improving services. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. From the exposure of the research results, it can be seen that in improving services to prospective pilgrims at PLHUT Bekasi Regency, they have implemented work principles based on management functions which include planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising, but in the implementation there are still obstacles that occur both from internal and external

Abstract

Ujian nasional merupakan pengukuran kemampuan potensi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran tertentu setelah mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah dengan berpedoman pada kurikulum. Namun terkait pelaksanaan UN tahun 2016 sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Wih Pesam Bener Meriah menggunakan dua kurikulum yang berbeda padahal untuk soal UN 2016 seluruh sekolah sama. Sehingga peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian yang berjudul perbandingan hasil ujian nasional antara sekolah dasar yang menggunakan KTSP dengan sekolah dasar Yang menggunakan kurikulum 2013 di kecamatan Wih Pesam kabupaten Bener Meriah. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil ujian nasional antara sekolah yang menggunakan KTSP dengan sekolah yang menggunakan K-13, dan apakan hasil ujian nasional sekolah yang menggunakan K-13 lebih baik dari sekolah yang menggunakan KTSP. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap hasil ujian nasional sekolah yang menggunakan KTSP dengan sekolah yang menggunakan K-13.Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil ujian nasional kedua kurikulum yang berbeda. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil ujian nasional tahun 2016 yang diambil dari kedua sekolah. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian komparatif. Data yang diperoleh dari sekolah diolah menggunakan rumus t untuk uji beda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh sebesar -2,86154 dan sebesar 2,000. Dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil ujian nasional antara sekolah yang menggunakan KTSP dengan sekolah yang menggunakan K-13. Dan hasil ujian nasional sekolah yang menggunakan KTSP lebih baik dari hasil ujian nasional sekolah yang menggunakan K-13

Abstract

Nutrition has a big role in determining maternal health. Malnutrition of pregnant women is not only related to malnutrition in the developing fetus, but also directly affects maternal health and the risk of maternal death. There are two critical pathways by which maternal nutrition can affect fetal survival, namely anemia and calcium deficiency. Anemia in pregnant women contributes as much as 20% of maternal deaths and low calcium consumption can lead to gestational hypertension which can trigger preeclampsia and eclampsia, which are the second most common cause of maternal death. Handling anemia by consuming plants such as vegetables and fruits, one of which is dragon fruit. Dragon fruit contains high phytochemicals, namely flavonoids 7.21 mg CE/100 grams. In addition, dragon fruit is a fruit that is rich in antioxidants and relatively high calcium and iron which plays a good role in bone and blood function. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of dragon fruit juice on increasing Hb levels in pregnant women. The research method used is Quasi Experiment (quasi-experimental) with pre-test post-test group design. The sampling technique of this research was done by purposive sampling, obtained a sample of 30 respondents consisting of 15 respondents from the intervention group and 15 respondents from the control group. The results showed that there was an effect before and after being given dragon fruit juice, the test used a paired t test where it was obtained for the intervention group p value 0.001 and for the control group p value 0.011. The intervention administration of Fe tablets and dragon fruit juice increased the Hb level of pregnant women by 1.42 g/dl, while the administration of Fe tablets only gave an increase of 1.2 g/dl. Abstract

Based on the results of initial observations at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Timur, Central Lombok Regency, it was found that students were still less motivated to be active in the learning process, such as lack of student readiness to start lessons, less attention to the teacher while teaching in class, less enthusiastic in learning, and a lack of curiosity when the teacher explains the subject matter. These things are because not all teachers apply appropriate and varied learning strategies, methods and models in learning activities, especially in biology lessons. Learning that takes place in the classroom is still teacher-centered, resulting in students becoming passive because they only tend to listen, pay attention, and take notes on the explanations given by the teacher. This has an impact on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine "The Effect of the Integrated Crossword Puzzle Student Teams Achievement Divisions Model on Students' Motivation and Cognitive Learning Outcomes" for class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Timur in the 2016/2017 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA totaling 91 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, in order to obtain research samples, namely class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class, and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets of lesson plans implementation, observation sheets of student motivation, and tests of students' cognitive learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used the t-test with the help of SPSS 16 for windows at a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is stated that: 1) there is an increase in student motivation by applying the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) integrated crossword puzzle model with a percentage of the experimental class of 78% and the control class of 75%; and 2) there is an influence of the integrated crossword puzzle Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model on students' cognitive learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.02 <0.05. Thus it was concluded that the integrated crossword puzzle Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model had an effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Every learner has different decision to pursue and sustain English language learning.  Their decisions are aspects of English language learning motivation.  This research aimed to describe how the students’ motivation in learning English based on their decision to pursue and sustain English language learning. This research was descriptive quantitative. The population in this research were the sixth semester students of English Department of one of State Islamic University in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, Indonesia. Simple Random Sampling Technique was used to take the research sample. The number of samples were 91 students. The instrument used was questionnaires using Likert-Scales analyzed by using Percentage. The result of the research showed that the students’ motivation in learning English was categorized into high level for each motivation aspect. However, the highest motivation aspect came from parental encouragement with the percentage 14 %. Based on the result, it can be concluded that parental encouragement is the most dominant motivation aspect that make the students pursue and sustain in learning English.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pubertas merupakan suatu tahapan yang sangat penting bagi semua remaja baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Periode pubertas akan terjadi perubahan dari masa anak-anak menjadi dewasa. Perubahan tersebut meliputi perubahan hormon, perubahan fisik, perubahan psikologi dan sosial. Anak yang telah mengalami haid dan mimpi basah, dalam Islam wajib melakukan thaharah, yaitu berupa mandi wajib. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak dalam menjalani masa pubertas yang dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 9 Banjarmasin pada kelas 5 SD sebanyak 92 peserta. Metode yang dilakukan dengan cermah, demonstrasi, dan diskusi serta penggunaan media komik. Komik dinilai sebagai bacaan yang dapat meningkatkan antusias anak. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui post test dengan indikator panilaian apabila terdapat peningkatan pegetahuan peserta lebih dari 80%, maka kegiatan dianggap berhasil. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pada peserta. Terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rerata dari 74,46 saat pre test menjadi 88,48 saat post test. Peserta yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik meningkat sebesar 31% yaitu yang sebelumnya 60% menjadi 91%. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini semoga dapat membantu mewujudkan generasi yang sehat dan cerdas dalam menjalani masa pubertas dan sesuai ajaran Islam.Abstract: Puberty is a very important stage for all adolescents, both male and female. The puberty period will change from childhood to adulthood. These changes include hormonal changes, physical changes, psychological and social changes. Children who have experienced menstruation and wet dreams, in Islam are required to perform thaharah, which is a mandatory bath. This community service aims to increase children's knowledge in going through puberty which was carried out at Muhammadiyah 9 Elementary School, Banjarmasin in grade 5 of elementary school with 92 participants. The method used was lectures, demonstrations, and discussions as well as the use of comic media. Comics are considered as reading material that can increase children's enthusiasm. The results obtained were an increase in knowledge in participants. This can be seen from the increase in the average value from 74.46 to 88.48. Participants who had good knowledge increased by 31%, from 60% to 91%. Hopefully, this community service activity can help create a healthy and intelligent generation in going through puberty and in accordance with Islamic teachings.
