Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of increasing the availability of employment in Makassar City, especially at the pharmacy company partner blessing light. The method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques are by conducting interviews, direct observation, and literature/literature studies. Data analysis was carried out by describing the results of interviews and analyzing the findings. From the results of this study, it was found that the effects of company capital, wage levels, and production value on increasing the availability of employment at partner pharmacies, blessing light.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurship knowledge, industrial work practice experience and family environment on entrepreneurial interest either directly or indirectly through self-efficacy as an intervening variable. The population in this study were 3530 students of class XII SMK Negeri Makassar City and a sample of 845 students slovin formula with a standard error of 3% by Cluster Random Sampling method. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobel test using SPSS and Smart PLS software. The results showed that 1) directly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on self-efficacy 2) directly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy and on entrepreneurial interest, 3) indirectly, there is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship learning, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on entrepreneurial interest through self-efficacy. However, industrial work practice experience is not significant on self-efficacy and entrepreneurial interest of vocational students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how short training in skills like cosmetology may considerably help women launch their own enterprises. According to recent data from the Indonesian Businesswomen's Association (IWAPI), women significantly boost the economy of the nation through their entrepreneurial endeavors. The results of this study are anticipated to offer light on the likelihood that skill development might spark enthusiasm in establishing a business. Path analysis using SPSS was used to assess the direct impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest as well as the indirect impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest through entrepreneurial self-motivation. The results show that the direct impact of skill development is more closely connected with entrepreneurial self-motivation than the indirect impact of skill development on entrepreneurial interest. The findings demonstrated that both entrepreneurial self-motivation and concurrent skills training on entrepreneurial interest did not substantially affect the skills training variable. In reality, developing makeup skills takes just a short time while maintaining regular routines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how attitudes and motivations affect the entrepreneurial interest of students of the Economic Education program of the State University of Makassar. A total of 100 Economics Education students of the class of 2021 were randomly selected to be respondents using a quantitative methodology. Many linear regressions are used to analyze data. The findings of the analysis show that motivation and attitude have a good and great influence on a person's interest in starting their own business. With X1 representing attitude and X2 representing motivation, the resulting regression equation Y = 13.465 + 0.414X1 + 0.249X2 + ε shows that these two variables have an effect on entrepreneurial interest. Based on the findings of the study, it can be said that motivation and attitude have a positive and significant effect on an individual's interest in starting their own business. Economics Education Student, State University of Makassar. With a coefficient of determination (R2) of 29.3%, attitudes and motivation can explain some of the variations in entrepreneurial desires, while friendships are influenced by unidentified factors.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that intends to reveal how online promotions, celebrity endorsers and prices affect online buying interest in tiktok shops. The research data was collected through filling out a questionnaire using a Google Form given to 31 respondents who used the TikTok application. The method used to analyze the data is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that 1) simultaneously online promotion, celebrity endorer and price have a significant effect on online buying interest. 2) partially shows that online promotion (X1) has a positive and significant effect on online buying interest (Y). This shows that the characteristics of online promotion have an important role in attracting online buying interest in Tiktok Shop. 3) celebrity endorsers (X2) do not have a positive and significant effect on online buying interest on Tiktok Shop (Y). This shows that the characteristics of celebrity endorsers have no influence on online buying interest on Tiktok Shop. 4) price (X3) has a positive and significant effect on online buying interest on Tiktok Shop (Y). This shows that price characteristics affect online buying interest on Tiktok Shop.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze business communication strategies in the marketing system implemented by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by utilizing digital marketing technology. Through a qualitative approach, the study collected data from a variety of sources, including in-depth interviews with MSME actors, analysis of social media content, and online surveys. The results of the study show that the use of effective digital marketing strategies, such as social media marketing, and email marketing, can increase customer visibility and engagement. In addition, collaboration with influencers and the use of data analytics are key in understanding consumer behavior and improving customer experience. This study concludes that the integration of the right business communication strategy through digital marketing technology can have a significant positive impact on the growth and sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

The increasing amount of debt experienced by companies in the transportation sector in recent years has attracted researchers' interest to explore the topic of capital structure as the main focus of this research. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability ratios and liquidity ratios on the composition of the company's capital structure. The profitability variable is represented using the Return on Assets (ROA) metric, while liquidity is represented by the Current Ratio (CR), and the capital structure is measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). The approach used in this research is a quantitative method, with data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression techniques performed with the help of SPSS software. The sample selection was carried out using the Purposive Sampling method on transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2017-2022. The results showed that simultaneously, profitability and liquidity have a significant influence on the company's capital structure. Separately, profitability has a significant positive influence, while liquidity has a significant negative influence on the company's capital structure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bauran pemasaran telur ikan terbang di Desa Popo, Kecamatan Galesong Selatan, Kabupaten Takalar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi (pengamatan), interview (wawancara), dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah nelayan sebanyak 30 orang dan 5 orang pedagang telur ikan terbang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan marketing mix pada usaha telur ikan terbang belum maksimal. Dari 7 variabel marketing mix yang diterapkan berupa produk telur ikan terbang yang sudah dikeringkan kemudian dikemas, Harga telur ikan terbang masih dikuasai oleh eksportir, sehingga nelayan tidak mempunyai bargaining position untuk menentukan harga.  Penangkapan telur ikan terbang  di Desa Popo karena sebagian besar masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai nelayan Patorani. Promosi dalam penjualan ikan terbang hampir tidak dilakukan nelayan, karena para pedagang/exportir yang berperan dalam hal ini. Adapun orang atau sumber daya manusia dalam usaha penangkapan telur ikan terbang yaitu para pekerja yang berjumlah 1-5 orang,  dan yang berperan sebagai pemimpin dalam bahasa Makassar disebut sebagai punggawa. Telur ikan terbang merupakan komoditi ekspor, sehingga  penjualannya melaui berbagai proses untuk sampai ke konsumen. Bukti fisik usaha seperti memiliki kapal  serta peralatan yang dipakai untuk menangkap ikan dan telurnya, tenaga kerja yang turut membantu serta adanya komunikasi dalam melayani konsumen.Kata kunci: Marketing mix, telur ikan terbang, patorani.

Abstract

Pengabdi mempunyai peran strategis sebagai agent of change. Pengabdi langsung terjun melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pemberian bantuan pelatihan, pembibingan, pendampingan dan untuk menyadarkan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan keluarga. Metode pengabdian menggunakan penyuluhan dan analisis kualitatif dengan cara memberikan pelatihan kepada mitra mengenai pengelolaan keuangan keluarga dengan tahap persiapan mengadakan observasi, pengadaan alat dan bahan pelatihan, mengajukan permohonan izin pelaksanaan kepada kepala sekolah untuk pelatihan bagi para guru sekolah SMA Negeri 6 Barru, dan menyiapkan wifi dan alat tulis menulis dan bahan peralatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian dari Fakultas Ekonomi UNM ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 6 Barru, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru di sekolah SMA Negeri 6 Barru tentang pengelolaan keuangan keluarga, serta penerapan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga yang rapi dan baik yang digalakkan oleh para guru–guru SMA Negeri 6 Barru.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of growth mindset, product innovation, and social media utilization on business development and the role of social support as a mediating variable in MSMEs in Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique and involved 100 respondents. The data analysis technique applied was Partial Least-Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that growth mindset, product innovation, and social media utilization all have a positive influence on business development. Social support also has a positive impact on business development. In addition, social support mediates the relationship between growth mindset, product innovation, and social media utilization with business development in MSMEs in Lalabata District, Soppeng Regency
