Abstract

This research aims to explore the dynamics of change and continuity in the wedding traditions of the Sasak community in Lombok from an Islamic perspective and its impact on their social structure. The Sasak community possesses a rich cultural heritage passed down through generations, with wedding traditions being one of the essential foundations of their social life. This study employs Lévi-Strauss's structuralism approach to delineate the key elements in Sasak wedding ceremonies and analyze the role and symbolic meaning of each element in the context of Islamic teachings. Sasak wedding traditions reflect traditional values highly esteemed by the community, such as togetherness, mutual cooperation, and respect for ancestors. The influence of Islam, which has permeated Sasak life, creates a unique cultural synthesis where traditional elements are integrated with Islamic practices. However, modernization and globalization bring significant changes to the wedding traditions and social structure of the Sasak community. This research finds that despite strong external influences, the Sasak community has managed to preserve key traditional elements and uphold their traditional values. Through this study, a deep understanding is gained of how the Sasak community faces social changes without losing their cultural and Islamic identity. This research also elucidates how social structure and wedding traditions function as reflections and mechanisms to face contemporary challenges, contributing to structural anthropology studies and providing a broader understanding of socio-cultural dynamics in Indonesia.

Abstract

The paper investigates the social consequences of coastal resource depletion through studies on economic troubles and adaptation methods alongside changes within fishing communities of Bantaeng located in South Sulawesi. The investigation focuses on how diminishing fish stocks limits fishermen’s economic viability alongside affected traditional knowledge transfer and impacts fishing community solidarity. Resource depletion exhibits very powerful negative effects on income yet the community now seeks additional sources of revenue by embracing seaweed production and small-farm cultivation. Social interactions in the community have shown both signs of detachment and strengthening because individuals work to obtain resources while others start working together on collective projects. Gender conceptions have undergone transformations according to this study since women now generate economic benefits rather than men do. The research demonstrates how young people leave rural areas for urban destinations because coastal fishing shows declining opportunities which will worsen traditional fishing in the future. The research findings contribute to advancing small-scale fisheries discourse because they concentrate on sociological aspects of adaptation and advise that place-based community-level strategies should serve as main pillars for fisheries policy. This study demonstrates that the social aspect must be integrated for long-term sustainability in coastal resource management to benefit communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perlindungan hukum bagi pekerja perempuan di PT. Jaya Alam Perkasa Makassar, dengan menyoroti pelaksanaan regulasi ketenagakerjaan serta peran Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kota Makassar dalam mendukung perlindungan tersebut. Fokus utama penelitian ini meliputi tiga hal: (1) Implementasi peraturan perundang-undangan mengenai perlindungan tenaga kerja perempuan di perusahaan; (2) Pemenuhan hak-hak pekerja perempuan sesuai Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan; dan (3) Peran aktif Disnaker Kota Makassar dalam memberikan perlindungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Jaya Alam Perkasa telah berupaya memenuhi beberapa hak dasar pekerja perempuan, seperti upah layak, keselamatan kerja, jaminan sosial, dan cuti melahirkan. Namun demikian, masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pelaksanaan, seperti belum tersedianya ruang laktasi dan tidak dicantumkannya cuti haid dalam kontrak kerja. Di sisi lain, Disnaker Kota Makassar telah menjalankan program dan kebijakan perlindungan tenaga kerja perempuan, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek pengawasan dan edukasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan komitmen perusahaan serta kolaborasi yang lebih kuat antara pemerintah dan sektor swasta dalam mewujudkan lingkungan kerja yang adil dan ramah gender.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to take a deeper look at the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a medium to assist learning in essential and optional schools. This article uses a writing survey strategy, more specifically by looking at several public and global diaries which will then be detailed using a content inspection procedure. The consequences of this research are: 1) in implementing ICT as a medium to help realize that there are various kinds of ICT-based media that can be used in learning exercises, but instructors must also be more careful in choosing ICT-based learning media that are used to enhance learning exercises, 2) The absence of ICT provision for educators is one of the fundamental obstacles that can make it difficult for educators to implement ICT in learning, and 3) instructor efforts in creating skills in the field in ICT, support and cooperation from various groups can encourage the implementation of ICT as a supporting medium the realization of learning activities can run more optimally and the nature of the teacher can also improve.

Abstract

This research is research with the title Implementation of Effective Strategies to Make People Trust the Implementation of COVID-19 Vaccination from an Economic Perspective. This research aims to find out more about effective strategies for implementing the COVID-19 vaccination in Gowa Regency. The data obtained came from interviews with several informants. This study uses a qualitative method. The research in this article shows that the success of the Covid-19 Vaccination program depends on many factors that influence it, and one of these factors is the strategy in making people believe in Vaccination itself. The level of understanding, participation and knowledge of the community will be positively influenced by planning that is made appropriately, carefully, thoroughly, and with ongoing monitoring and assessment. So if the information conveyed is clear, people will be confident and not confused, and will not need to look for additional sources of information.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Identify the implementation of the social emotional learning (PSE) approach at the curriculum level through the most relevant subjects; (2) Analyze the implementation of social emotional learning (PSE) in the school environment; and (3) Analyze the implementation of social emotional learning (PSE) in students. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation with informants including teachers, staff, and students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PSE at SMAN 11 Gowa has covered three main aspects: (1) At the curriculum level, PSE is integrated into subjects such as Islamic Religious Education, Pancasila Education, and Indonesian, with learning methods that prioritize social and emotional values; (2) In the school environment, a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture supports the social-emotional development of students; and (3) In students, teachers and staff have an important role in becoming role models and facilitators who support students' social and emotional competence. This study concludes that an integrated PSE approach that is integrated comprehensively in the curriculum, school environment, and learning community can improve the quality of learning while developing students' characters. This study provides an important contribution to the development of educational policies that support students' social and emotional skills.

Abstract

This research departs from the urgency of education as a preventive tool to instill integrity values from an early age, amid the rampant corruption practices that are rooted in the social life of Indonesian society. The research aims to describe the integration of anti-corruption education in Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) learning, analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process, and identify the impact on students at SMPN 12 Makassar. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that anti-corruption values were integrated through active learning approaches such as discussions, case studies, and value-based projects, as well as through the example of educators. Supporting factors for this integration include educators' commitment, principal support, and flexibility in curriculum development. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include limited learning time and lack of special training for teachers. The impact of this integration can be seen from changes in students' behavior, such as increased honesty, sense of responsibility, discipline, and courage to voice injustice in the school environment. The findings confirm that anti-corruption education integrated in Civics learning contributes significantly to shaping learners' character with integrity, if implemented consistently and collaboratively.

Abstract

Abstract: transformator, efisiensi transfromator;Pembangkit listrik memegang peranan penting dalam menyediakan energi listrik yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dan industri. Salah satu komponen utama dalam sistem pembangkit listrik adalah trafo. Transformator berfungsi untuk mengubah tegangan dari pembangkit listrik menjadi tegangan yang sesuai untuk didistribusikan dan dikonsumsi. Dalam bidang industri, trafo digunakan sebagai penaik tegangan (trafo step up) dan digunakan sebagai penurun tegangan (trafo step down). Transformator ini biasanya dihubungkan dengan beban. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yaitu perhitungan untuk mencari efisiensi transformator. Hasil yang diperoleh pada perhitungan minggu ke-1 sebesar 99,81%, minggu ke-2 sebesar 100%, minggu ke-3 sebesar 99,95% dan minggu ke-4 sebesar 99,95%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa transformator di PT PLN Indonesia Power UPDK Keramasan sangat efisien, dapat diketahui pada perhitungan yang diperoleh dan semakin besar efisiensi menunjukkan semakin banyak daya yang terjual.Keywords: transfromator; efisiensi transformator;Power plants play an important role in providing the electrical energy needed to meet the needs of society and industry. One of the main components in the power generation system is the transformer. The transformer serves to change the voltage from the power plant to a voltage suitable for distribution and consumption. In the industrial field, transformers are used as voltage boosters (step up transformers) and used as voltage reducers (step down transformers). This transformer is usually connected to the load. The method used in this research is a quantitative method, namely calculations to find transformer efficiency. The results obtained in the calculation of week 1 amounted to 99.81%, week 2 amounted to 100%, week 3 amounted to 99.95% and week 4 amounted to 99.95%. It can be concluded that the transformer at PT PLN Indonesia Power UPDK Keramasan is very efficient, it can be seen in the calculations obtained and the greater the efficiency shows the more power sold.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh transparansi terhadap kepercayaan wajib pajak dalam sistem perpajakan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan pendekatan penelitian normative, yang dimaksud untuk meneliti pada kondisi objek yang alamiah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini deskriptif sebab dalam penelitian ini data yang disajikan akan dipaparkan secara jelas dan pada akhir penjelasan akan ditarik hasil akhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Transparansi audit pajak adalah salah satu elemen penting dalam membangun kepercayaan wajib terhadap sistem perpajakan suatu negara. Transparansi ini mengacu informasi mengenai proses, kriteria dan hasil audit pajak disampaikan secara terbuka, jelas, dan dapat dipahami oleh wajib pajak. Jadi secara simultan transparansi pajak ini meningkatkan kepecayaan wajib pajak dan kemudian akan meningkatkan pula kepatuhan wajib pajak.

Abstract

The implementation of prepaid electricity enables households to monitor and control their electricity consumption. The system functions similarly to mobile phone credit top-ups. One key advantage of prepaid electricity is the elimination of late payment penalties. Compared to postpaid electricity, the prepaid system is perceived as more economical, as it encourages consumers to be more prudent and efficient in their energy usage.Prepaid electricity services operate on a pay-before-use basis, offering flexibility and better cost management to consumers. This study aims to analyze the impact of electricity sales on profit growth at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bontang. The research adopts a quantitative approach using descriptive statistical analysis based on financial data from the last five years (2016–2020). The findings reveal that, although there has been an increase in both the volume and value of electricity sales, this does not necessarily translate into increased company profits. The stagnation or decline in profit is primarily attributed to high operational costs, including power plant fuel expenses, electricity purchases from independent power producers (IPPs), network maintenance costs, and exchange rate fluctuations.
