Abstract

Sistem layanan otomasi perpustakaan menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan pelayanan pada perpustakaan salah satunya yaitu sistem pencarian buku melalui aplikasi smartphone atau desktop. Hanya saja solusi ini masih mengharuskan pemustaka untuk mengambil buku secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan prototype robot beroda yang berfungsi untuk mengambilkan buku dari rak buku ke pemustaka secara otomatis. Robot dengan ukuran  , dilengkapi 4 unit motor DC (direct current) sebagai penggerak dan menerapkan sistem line follower sebagai navigasi robot, sehingga robot mampu bergerak secara otomatis. Permukaan robot dilengkapi dengan motor stepper NEMA17 sebagai aktuator vertical linear motion yang akan membuat permukaan robot begerak secara vertical. Robot yang dirancang dilengkapi dengan teknologi IoT (Internet of Things) sehingga robot mampu terhubung dengan server database perpustakaan. Hasil pengujian prototype robot yaitu robot dengan total berat mencapai 2,92 Kg serta mampu membawa buku hingga 1000 gram dengan ukuran maksimal buku mencapa  Robot mengkonsumsi daya sebesar 30,336 Watt dengan tegangan 12V. Sedangkan hasil pengujian vertical linear motion dengan persetanse kesalahan tertinggi 0,73%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang penggunaan bentuk tindak tutur direkif yang terdiri atas bentuk, fungsi dan strategi tuturan bahasa perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar di kota Palu. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini pada Kantor Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Palu. Ada pun sumber data diperoleh dari tuturan perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar di kota Palu dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu; (1) perekaman, (2) obsevasi dan (3) pencatatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur direktif perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar di kota Palu ditemukan ada empat bentuk tuturan yang sering digunakan oleh perempuan pengawas pada Sekolah Dasar yaitu ajakan, permintaan, pertanyaan, dan perintah. Keempat bentuk tersebut masingmasing memiliki penanda yang memberi kekhasan perempuan dalam bertutur. Pada tuturan ajakan, kata yang dominan digunakan yaitu ayo dan mari. Selanjutnya pada bentuk permintaan, kata yang banyak dimunculkan adalah sebaiknya dan kalau boleh. Sedangkang kalimat pertanyaan pemarkah pada intonasi merendah pada akhir kalimat yang juga diberi tanda tanya (?). Terakhir yaitu tuturan Perintah yang umumnya memakai tanda seru di akhir kalimat disertai nada suara meninggi. Kedua bentuk ini tidak menggunakan secara khusus penanda kebahasaan. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur direktif perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar di kota Palu terdapat empat fungsi tuturan yaitu; ajakan, meminta, bertanya dan perintah. Pada fungsi ajakan, yang diharapkan adalah mitra tutur segera melakukan tindakan. Fungsi meminta, yang diinginkan oleh penutur bagaimana mitra tutur merespon apa yang disampaikan. Lalu fungsi bertanya yang sering digunakan oleh perempuan karena ada rasa keingintahuan penutur pada setiap kegiatan. Kemudian fungsi perintah menunjukkan bahwa perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar pada umumnya dipengaruhi latar belakang sosial yang lebih tinggi. Strategi tuturan direktif, terdiri atas tuturan langsung dan tidak langsung. Kedua strategi tersebut dimaknai sebagai ungkapan kesantunan dalam berkomunikasi. Begitu pula jarak sosial pembicara. Oleh karena itu, strategi direktif merupakan bahasa perempuan pengawas Sekolah Dasar di kota Palu sebagai upaya untuk menyembunyikan muka. Komunikasi antara perempuan pengawas di Kota Palu menghindari kata-kata makian dan lebih memilih kata-kata santun ketika berucap sedangkan untuk menunjukkan ketegasan, seringkali meninggikan intonasinya.

Abstract

Pemetaan denah jalur sampah di lakukan untuk mengorganisisr sampah yang banyak berserakan di sekitar UPT Perpustakaan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mendapatkan solusi atas pembuangan sampah sembarang di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Tadulako tersebut, untuk meminilisir maka diperlukan denah untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi komponen perencanaan kegiatan sebelum kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan serta melakukan rancangan evaluasi kegiatan yakni hasil akhir produk berupa denah jalur sampah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terselenggara secara kontinu dan konsisten. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yakni hasil produk berupa letak jalur pembuangan sampah selesai sehingga mampu meminimalkan sampah yang berserakan dan yang dibuang di sembarang tempat

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research, namely how the forms and constraints of the ability to learn speaking through audio-visual videos in group B2 TK Kemala Bhayangkari Palu students and the purpose of this study, are to describe the forms and constraints of learning ability to speak through audio-visual videos in group B2 TK Kemala students. Bhayangkari Palu. The method used is a qualitative research method. The object of this research is the students of group B2 Kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari Palu. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the form of learning to speak through audio-visual videos for group B2 Tk Kemala Bhayangkari Palu students is carried out through the following stages: providing learning materials, preparing various alternative media: Whatsapp Group, Youtube, and Zoom, monitoring, and uploading materials. learning in the form of tutorials, videos, student worksheets to media that have been determined or mutually agreed upon. The obstacles found by the teacher in learning speaking based on audio-visual videos for group B2 students were: (1) lack of parental assistance, (2) internet signal/connection, (3) teachers could not interact directly. With regard to the results of the study, the authors suggest that teachers can improve their competence in making innovations that can support the improvement of students' speaking skills by developing good plans for the learning process.

Abstract

Nora'a Keke is a ritual of the cultural tradition of Kaili tribe which is understood to give blood or offerings to ancestral spirits to pour rain to drought-stricken areas due to the long dry. The problem of this research was that it can reveal the implementation procession, symbols, and values contained in the Nora'a Keke ritual. This study aims to determine the process of carrying out the Nora'a Keke ritual. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using three data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews and other supporting documents. Data were analyzed by collecting, reducing, presenting and concluding data. The results showed that the Nora'a Keke ritual process consisted of three stages, namely: (1) the initial stage such as deliberation and opening ceremonies, (2) the core stage, the implementation of the Nora'a Keke ritual and (3) the final stage, eating by following the customs. and Moraego. The important values contained in the Nora'a Keke ritual are: religious, philosophical and ethical values.

Abstract

Karya ilmiah memainkan peran penting dan menjadi sumber referensi bagi para ahli yang berbeda. Bersamaan dengan peningkatan inovasi di era 4.0, mahasiswa diharapkan dapat mengikuti kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan inovasi. Kemajuan teknologi data di perguruan tinggi telah berkembang sehingga mahasiswa harus tahu tentang berbagai aplikasi yang disediakan oleh koperasi spesialis data. Oleh karena itu, dengan perkembangan informasi teknologi yang begitu pesat maka bermunculan Tool yang memudahkan mahasiswa, dosen serta peneliti untuk mencari rujukan serta penyusunan daftar pustaka. Penulisan karya ilmiah skripsi sebagai syarat tugas akhir untuk mengikuti ujian bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Tadulako masih banyak dijumpai daftar pustaka yang disusun secara manual. Hal ini yang membuat mahasiswa kesulitan dan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama pada saat menulis skripsi sebab harus menuliskan kutipan satu persatu ke dalam tulisan sehingga terkadang ada yang tertinggal. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat menawarkan penggunaan referensi menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley yang dianggap penting karena memudahkan mahasiswa untuk membuat referensi dan daftar pustaka yang baik dan dapat membatasi terjadinya plagiasi. Tujuan di balik kegiatan ini adalah untuk melatih kemampuan siswa tingkat akhir di FKIP Universitas Tadulako dalam menggunakan aplikasi mendeley untuk mempermudah penyusunan tugas akhir. Kegiatann ini dilakukan pada bulan April s.d. Oktober 2022 di Media Centre Universitas Tadulako. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian, ditemukan 85% mahasiswa semester akhir FKIP Universitas Tadulako yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sudah mampu menggunakan Mendeley untuk karya tulis ilmiah   Scientific papers play an important role and become a reference source for different experts. Along with the increase in innovation in the 4.0 era, students are expected to be able to follow the progress of science and innovation. Advances in data technology in higher education have developed so that students must know about the various applications provided by data specialist cooperatives. Therefore, with the rapid development of information technology, tools have emerged that make it easier for students, lecturers and researchers to find references and compile a bibliography. Writing a scientific thesis as a final assignment requirement to take exams for students of the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Tadulako University still often finds bibliographies compiled manually. This makes it difficult for students, and it takes quite a long time to write a thesis because they have to write down the quotations one by one so that sometimes something is left out. Therefore, the community service team offers references using the Mendeley application, which is important because it makes it easier for students to make good references and bibliography and can limit plagiarism. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of final-year students at FKIP Tadulako University to use the Mendeley application to facilitate the preparation of the final project. This activity was carried out in April s.d. October 2022 at the Media Centre Universitas Tadulako. Based on the results of community service activities, it was found that 85% of Tadulako University FKIP final semester students who participated in community service activities could use Mendeley for scientific writing.

Abstract

This study describes the origin of the name Pasangkayu using the symbolic interactionism theory. The data source of this research is the coastal community who master and have knowledge about the origin of the name Pasangkayu by using qualitative descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used in this research are: (1) observation, to make direct observations of the community and the studied object; (2) interviews, to obtain information related to the studied object; (3) audio visual documentation, to record the speaker's explanation related to the origin of the name Pasangkayu; (4) textual documentation, to write all the utterances conveyed and to strengthen the obtained data. The results of the interview provide an overview of how the name Pasangkayu formed to be. The symbolic interactionism carried out by the fishermen was the reason for the naming of Pasangkayu City. The fishermen make a pair of wooden trees as a symbol when returning from the sea.

Abstract

The study in this pap The background of this research is the lack of students' ability in writing skills, learning to write in schools in particular does not get the dominant attention so that students' ability to write is still very low. Methodologically, teachers are generally less varied in choosing the method used. This study aims to determine the increase in understanding of class VIII students of SMP 5 Palu in writing exposition texts using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle goes through four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were students who were active and enrolled in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 19 students. The data collection technique used observation and concept comprehension ability tests to collect the required data and as a benchmark for students' ability to write exposition texts based on minimum completeness criteria. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in conceptual understanding from cycle I to cycle II, with the proportion of completeness 58 with an average of 72 in cycle I, to 89 with an average of 84 in cycle II, as well as the application of the Problem Based Learning model can increase students' understanding in write expository text.

Abstract

The Pamona tribe's traditional marriage ceremony, called mangawianaka ada mporongo malulu ada pamona (performing a marriage that follows Pamona customs), is led directly by the customary chief and the Pamona tribal customary council. The Pamona tribe's traditional marriage ceremony consists of several requirements that must be prepared and fulfilled by both parties of the prospective bride and groom to get goodness in the future. This research aims to reveal the educational values of the Pamona tribe's marriage customs from the perspective of the Sociology of Literature. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach method that describes or paints symptoms and facts systematically. The data collection technique used listening to recordings of informant interviews, field notes, and other literature sources. Based on the results of the research, the educational values contained in the expression of the Pamona tribe's traditional marriage consist of (1) religious values, (2) moral values, (3) social values (4) and cultural values. The educational values revealed in the Pamona tribe's traditional marriage are not only in the form of educational values but also represent social values in the Pamona tribe community.
