Abstract

This study is focused on the dynamics of service quality issues in 2020–2021, which highlight issues with inpatient nurses' patient care performance. This study aimed to gather proof of the connection between competence and training and nursing performance, with job motivation as an intermediary variable. A cross-sectional study involving 135 inpatient nurses was used in the research design using a straightforward random sampling method. The sampling strategy used probability and saturation samples to sample the complete population. The study's findings demonstrate that competency and training have a direct, favorable, and significant impact on work motivation and performance and that work motivation positively mediates the relationship between competency and training and nurse performance. That performance directly favors and significantly impacts work motivation. If there is work motivation, competence, and training can be higher to improve nurse performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the accounting procedures used in the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako. The problem formulations in this study are: 1) What are the accounting procedures for managing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako? 2) Does the accounting system for managing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako comply with the National Education Standards and BOS Technical Guidelines? This research uses qualitative analysis with a case study approach. Data collection involved observation, documentation, and interviews with research subjects. Validity tests were conducted using source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate: 1) the management of BOS funds at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako is in accordance with the 2022 BOS technical guidelines. BOS fund management has three important aspects, namely planning, implementation, and reporting. In the management of BOS at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako, there are several shortcomings, namely in the process of preparing the RKAS where there is no budget allocated to finance the development of graduate compensation standards; development of content standards; and development of educators and education personnel. Furthermore, there are obstacles in the process of distributing BOS funds which are often delayed so that the school must go into debt to resolve the problem. Another problem is that at any time the school suddenly requires carrying out an activity whose implementation budget is not listed in the RKAS. The solution that the school can do to overcome this problem is to go into debt; 2) the use of BOS funds at SMA Negeri 1 Wundulako has been maximized to meet the needs of the school. However, maximizing the use of BOS funds so that it can reach all components in the school. Accounting Procedures, Management, BOS Funds

Abstract

Abstract

The background of this study is related to the lack of compliance in sorting infectious and non-infectious waste in nurses. This study was conducted to evaluate the perception of compliance in the separation of infectious and non-infectious waste at the Class C Private General Hospital in Central Lampung. The main focus is to analyze the influence of knowledge, work motivation, availability of facilities, on the perception of compliance in waste sorting by using attitude as a mediating variable. This research uses an analytical quantitative design with a cross-section design and a field research approach. The population used was hospital nurses with a sampling technique in the form of saturated sampling by making a total of 119 nurses as respondents. The data was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the three box method and the SEM-PLS statistical method with the help of the SmartPLS-4 device. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence between work motivation and attitude on the perception of waste sorting compliance. On the other hand, there is a significant indirect influence between knowledge and work motivation on the perception of waste separation compliance when mediated by attitudes. Knowledge, work motivation and availability of facilities have a significant influence on attitudes. However, the attitude of not mediating the influence of facility availability on the perception of waste sorting compliance behavior Thus, the perception of compliance behavior in conducting waste sorting is significantly influenced by work motivation and attitude. Therefore, these factors need to be continuously improved to ensure effective medical waste management in the health environment.
