Abstract

This research aims to examine the leadership role of the Village Head in providing public services in Kolam Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. Analysis was carried out on the current condition of leadership which was considered not good by residents, especially regarding the policy of providing unequal aid. During the previous leadership period, aid was given equally to all levels of society, but after the change in leadership, aid tended to be given only to the young. The impact of this policy is citizens' dissatisfaction with leadership which is considered unresponsive and inclusive of the needs of all levels of society. In-depth evaluation of leadership practices is needed to formulate more inclusive and just policies. Leadership that is fair, equitable and pays attention to community diversity is expected to increase citizen satisfaction and collective prosperity. Concrete and sustainable improvement steps are needed to create better and more equitable public services for all Pool Village residents.

Abstract

Landmark is a city architecture that through the locality of the city has been used as an object of building, architecture or has become the identity of a city. Landmarks are usually in the form of distinctive buildings that make people know the origin of the city just by looking at it. In everyday life, many people do not recognize Ikons, Landmarks or markers in their cities, regions or countries. Many people in Tanah Laut Regency only know through TV media or when they driving on the highway they see one of these Ikons or Landmarks, so they do not know more about the Ikons or Landmarks from their area, resulting in a lack of knowledge of their own regional identity. One solution to this problem is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology, this technology will combine 3D designs from regional Landmarks in Tanah Laut Regency and a little explanation about this building or Ikon. In building the application, the author uses the Waterfall model using the C# programming language and is designed using Flowcharts and DFD. Application of Augmented Reality on Landmarks / Icon of Tanah Laut Regency can make it easier for the public to access information about the history and shape of the monuments in Tanah Laut Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak Keadaan cuaca yang berubah secara cepat dan ekstrim membuat masyarakat harus sigap dalam mewaspadai terjadinya bencana alam. Pada laman Website resmi BPBD (Badan Penangulangan Bencana Daerah) 39 kejadian bencana alam di Indonesia dalam periode 4-10 Maret 2024, Banjir mendominasi dengan 34 kejadian atau 87 % dari total bencana alam. Penanganan bencana banjir sangat perlu dilakukan dengan solusi yang tepat dan efektif. Khususnya pada wilayah yang menyiapkan fasilitas pintu air atau sistem kontrol debit air yang kurang diperhatikan. Dari permasalahan diatas, kami melakukan penelitian dengan judul Rancang Bangun Purwa Rupa Sistem Peringatan Dini Curah Hujan Tinggi dan Bemcana Alam Banjir” yang dimana alat ini dilengkapi : ESP 32 sebagai mikrokontroler utama yang sudah berbasis Internet of Things, sensor ultrasonic (HC-SR04) sebagai sensor jarak ketinggian air, sensor curah hujan dengan kapasitas rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Semua fitur akan dimonitoring dan di control secara IoT (Jarak jauh) dengan bantuan Aplikasi Blynk 2.0 yang sudah terintegrasi dengan website secara realtime. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan sebuah Solusi yang baik untuk Masyarakat agar bisa terhindar dari bahaya bencana alam banjir. Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa pengaruh ta’zir terhadap kedisiplinan santri pondok pesantren Nurul Huda Banin Simbang Kulon Pekalongan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data primer dari lapangan secara langsung. penelitian disebut dengan field research atau penelitian lapangan. Adapaun pendekatanya dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menyajikan data-data dalam bentuk verbal dari hasil usaha pengamatan dan penelaahan atas fenomena sosial. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan berinteraksi langsung terhadap orang-orang yang terlibat dalam fenomena tersebut dengan maksud agar dapat mengerti, memahami, dan mencerna makna suatu peristiwa tersebut kemudian menghasilkan Data berupa deskripsi tentang konsep ta'zir ala pesantren berdasarkan fakta dan analisa. Dari hasil penelitian ini terbukti bahwa ta’zir ini berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan santri pondok pesantren Nurul Huda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job description, human capital, and work culture on employee performance at the Langsa Kota Sub-district Office. A qualitative approach is used with a case study method, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The research informants consisted of the head of the office, administrative staff, and functional employees who were selected purposively. The results of the study show that a clear job description plays an important role in providing job guidance to employees. However, some challenges were found, such as unclear tasks in certain positions and overlapping responsibilities between employees, which could affect work coordination. From the aspect of human capital, formal education, technical training, and work experience have proven to have a great contribution to the quality of employee performance. However, limited access to training and competency development is a major obstacle, especially for new employees. Meanwhile, the work culture at the Langsa Kota Sub-district Office is generally considered positive, especially in the aspect of team cohesion. However, the discipline and innovation aspects still need more attention to encourage productivity and creativity at work. These three factors, namely job description, human capital, and work culture, are interrelated and affect employee performance simultaneously. This study concludes that optimal human resource management must include evaluation of task descriptions, improvement of training programs, and strengthening work culture. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference for the Langsa Kota Sub-district Office to improve employee performance in providing more effective and efficient public services.

Abstract

Proses peledakan untuk memberai massa batuan dilakukan pada operasi penambangan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas penggalian dan pengangkutan. Kondisi geologi yang heterogen menjadi salah satu tantangan pada operasional peledakan dalam proses penambangan. PT. Kaltim Prima Coal merupakan perusahaan yang fokus pada pertambangan batubara dengan target produksi lebih dari 10 juta ton. Orica telah menjadi penyedia bahan peledak dan jasa peledakan di area Mining Operation Division (MOD), mendukung operasi peledakan. Metode Through Seam Blast (TSB) telah diterapkan pada pit-pit di area MOD.Untuk mencapai suatu target produksi, metode peledakan konvensional membutuhkan 2-3 kali kegiatan peledakan lebih banyak daripada metode TSB, sehingga penerapan TSB dapat meminimalisasi kegiatan peledakan, mengurangi waktu henti terkait aktivitas peledakan, dan meningkatkan utilisasi peralatan. Dalam penelitian ini, Orica melakukan aplikasi TSB secara keseluruhan. Aplikasi TSB membutuhkan akurasi dan presisi. Layanan yang disediakan oleh Orica untuk TSB termasuk gamma- logging, pemodelan batubara, desain dan lembar pengisian, pengisian dan penyesuaian isian lubang ledak TSB, serta penembakan lokasi TSB. Orica menyediakan dua unit gamma logging untuk mendukung kegiatan logging TSB di seluruh area MOD. Efisiensi biaya ditentukan dengan menghitung biaya dozer dan motor grader, persiapan teras dan simulasi penggunaan nonel detonator lokasi teras.Kajian menunjukkan total volume TSB di PT Kaltim Prima Coal pada semester pertama tahun 2023 mencapai 11,839,848 m3. Penurunan biaya peledakan dari penerapan metode TSB dibandingkan metode konvensional pada semester pertama di Area Mining Operation Division (MOD) mencapai 24.1%, hal ini menunjukkan efisiensi biaya pelaksanaan TSB. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan peledakan TSB bisa meningkatkan penghemetan biaya penambangan dan mengoptimalisasi urutan penambangan yang menjadi fokus pelanggan dengan keselamatan dan kualitas yang menjadi prioritas

Abstract

This study examines the interaction between educational culture, organizational culture, and communication networks in the context of Al-Hadi School. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research digs deeper into the fundamental values, norms and practices that shape the school learning environment. The findings reveal that Al-Hadi culture emphasizes discipline, adherence to religious values, and innovative teaching methods. While these elements have fostered a strong sense of community, they have also influenced the development of formal and hierarchical communication networks.

Abstract

The government's efforts to enhance community welfare through the Family Planning Program (KB) and the promotion of Long-Term Contraceptive Methods (MKJP) still encountered significant challenges. Despite targeting couples of reproductive age (PUS) as the primary beneficiaries of these programs, the uptake of MKJP remains below the desired levels. Various factors influence the decision-making process of these couples, including their knowledge about MKJP, perceptions of its efficacy, family support, sociocultural norms, and the role of healthcare workers. This study employed an analytical survey method with a Cross-Sectional Study design to assess the impact of these variables on the decision of PUS within the Kawua Community Health Center area to adopt MKJP. 90 couples of reproductive ages involved in this study, selected from 876 of total population through proportional sampling technique. The findings indicate that four out of the five examined factors significantly influence the use of MKJP in this population, they are knowledge about MKJP, perceptions of its efficacy, family support and the role of healthcare workers. The sociocultural norms was not significantly affective to decision of MKJP usage. To improve MKJP adoption, it is recommended that authorities enhance the knowledge of PUS about long-term contraceptive methods, thereby fostering more positive perceptions. Additionally, involving family members, particularly husbands, in counseling sessions about MKJP could be beneficial. Furthermore, improving the knowledge and skills of healthcare workers and providing better healthcare facilities are crucial steps in supporting the successful implementation of MKJP.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Education 5.0 in enhancing the quality of technology-based learning in secondary schools in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 150 respondents, including educators and students, through a structured questionnaire employing a Likert scale (1–5). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, incorporating descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analyses. The findings reveal a positive and significant relationship between Education 5.0 components—technology integration, personalized learning, teacher effectiveness, and student engagement—and the quality of learning. Among these, technology integration was identified as the most influential factor. The results underscore the transformative potential of Education 5.0 in creating interactive, learner-centered environments. However, challenges such as digital infrastructure disparities and teacher readiness must be addressed to maximize its benefits. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in advancing educational innovation in Indonesia.

Abstract

MIN 40 Aceh Besar is an Islamic education school under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, located in Desa Punie, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province. The current information system used is simple, relying on a manual registration book for new student admissions. This process is inefficient, and the storage of documents is poorly organized, leading to data repetition across multiple files due to unstructured procedures. This study employs a system development methodology for designing a web-based decision support system for new student admissions. Data collection is done through literature review, observation, and interviews. The system is developed using HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, with an integrated database. The system aims to streamline data management and improve the completeness of student identity information, thus facilitating smoother data circulation. By connecting the data directly to the database, staff can easily manage student identity information and registration payments. The system’s implementation shows time efficiency in data entry, reporting, and monitoring. The outputs produced by the system include student registration reports, parent/guardian identity reports, and payment invoices, which help save time, reduce data entry errors, and simplify the search for student identity data.
