Abstract

Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) sebagai kerangka untuk mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan kinerja lembaga pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumen dan triangulasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BSC efektif dalam mengintegrasikan pengukuran kinerja ke dalam sistem manajemen strategis, yang memberikan pandangan holistik tentang kinerja organisasi dari perspektif keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan. Implementasi BSC di lembaga pendidikan berhasil meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan, meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan, dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses internal. Kesimpulannya, Balanced Scorecard terbukti sebagai alat manajemen strategis yang komprehensif dan efektif dalam membantu lembaga pendidikan mencapai tujuan mereka secara efisien dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

One type of lizard that is popular in Indonesia is the green iguana, which belongs to the Iguanidae family. Green iguanas are cold-blooded animals that often sunbathe to adjust their body temperature to the same as the environmental temperature so that the iguana's digestive system can be optimal. Therefore, green iguana lovers or breeders need an IoT-based maintenance solution. This research aims to design a green iguana cage that can maintain temperature and humidity automatically using a DHT22 sensor. Based on test results, the IoT-based temperature and humidity control system in the green iguana cage was proven to be effective in maintaining environmental conditions in the cage. On the 1st day of testing, the average temperature and humidity sensor errors in the system design at three different times were 1.03% and 2.24%, respectively. Furthermore, on day 2, the average temperature and humidity sensor errors were 1.359% and 1.739% respectively. This system works effectively, where the humidifier maintains humidity by obeying the limits of turning off at humidity above 80% and turning on below 70%. Meanwhile, the light adjusts its brightness level based on temperature with a range of 30°C - 35°C. This system is able to maintain temperature and humidity with 97% accuracy. The results of the tested data are sent to the IoT Platform so that they can be accessed in real-time. The test results for the delay value of 90.45441238 ms indicate that data transmission is in the very good category.

Abstract

This research delves into the pivotal role of civic education in molding the moral character of students within the context of the modern era. By employing a descriptive literature review methodology, the study meticulously analyzes a range of theoretical sources to elucidate how rapid socio-cultural transformations and technological advancements are impacting students' moral development. The findings underscore the indispensability of civic education in fostering a robust moral character among students. It highlights how civic education nurtures a strong work ethic and imbues students with values such as patriotism and self-sacrifice, which are deemed essential for the collective well-being of the nation. In a world characterized by rapid and constant change, civic education stands out as a crucial element in equipping students not only with knowledge about their rights and responsibilities but also with the moral fortitude to act in the best interest of society. This educational approach aims to produce conscientious, informed, and morally grounded citizens capable of navigating the complexities of modern life while contributing positively to their communities and the nation as a whole. The study also suggests that integrating civic education effectively within the curriculum can mitigate the adverse effects of socio-cultural shifts and technological progressions, thereby ensuring that students develop into well-rounded individuals with a balanced perspective on their civic duties and moral obligations.

Abstract

Religion is one of the important aspects of human life that can affect a person, be it the way they think, act, and interact with the surrounding world. Religious education begins with the education obtained in a family. Therefore, this research aims to see how a family, which is the smallest unit in society, provides religious education for children. One of the novelties of this research is that the author explores the research findings more broadly and deeply, and gives emphasis to the socialisation process in the family. This research employed the literature study research method. This method was chosen. It can answer the questions posed more comprehensively because it refers to several scientific quantities that have been published previously. The theory used to analyse the findings is Functional Structural Theory. This theory was chosen because it is relevant to explain how a structure carries out its functions and roles, to be able to achieve a goal. The results showed that a family has a big responsibility in instilling religious values in a child. This responsibility is carried out in the form of socialisation and interaction between family members. How the family transforms religious values for each child is one of the fundamental things that will affect a child's religious understanding. The family, as the smallest structure in society, has a great function and role in shaping a child's character, including the cultivation of religious values.

Abstract

The article discusses the analysis of errors in the pronunciation of Arabic letters in members of the IAIN Surakarta’s PSM. This study describes: 1) the form of errors in the pronunciation of Arabic letters; and 2) factors causing the occurrence of pronunciation errors in Arabic letters. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method by analyzing the pronunciation errors in singing Qasidah songs. The research findings that 1) The form of pronunciation mistakes made on al-halaq (ع) mistakes made by respondents in the pronunciation of Arabic letters amounted to 6 errors. 2) Forms of pronunciation errors in al-lisan (ش، ض، ط، ص), pronunciation mistakes made amounted to 2-6 errors. Causes of errors or difficulties in pronouncing the letters al-halaq (throat) and al-lisan (tongue), among others: 1) The influence of mother tongue or first language. 2) Lack of reading practice. 3). There are still many members who aren’t graduated from Islamic boarding schools. These findings can be concluded the misreading of the Arabic letters in singing Qasidah, occurs due to the limitations of the IAIN Surakartas PSM members in pronouncing Arabic pronunciations and still being influenced by the mother tongue and limitations in adding material about pronunciation related to Arabic.

Abstract

Problems related to facilities and infrastructure management strategies are quite extensive, so it is impossible to resolve them considering the limited time that researchers have. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the problem to further focus this research, namely on the scope facilities and infrastructure management strategy. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely research in order to reveal facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables and circumstances that occur when the research is running and present it according to research in the field. The research used in this research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive research type because the data collected is in the form of words or images (narrative) so the data is not in the form of numbers. The main activity in every research is data collection. The data collection technique in this research aims to obtain accurate and valid data. In implementing the management strategy for facilities and infrastructure towards achieving accreditation which is expressed in the form of recognition. The accreditation scale is prepared based on the school accreditation guidebook, an activity of assessing the suitability of a school based on criteria that have been determined and carried out by the School Accreditation Body (BAS), the results of which are realized in the form of a ranking. feasibility which includes: a) Curriculum and learning process, b) School administration and management, c) School organization and institutions, d) Facilities and infrastructure, e) Students. f) (school accreditation guidebook).

Abstract

This study examines the interaction between educational culture, organizational culture, and communication networks in the context of Al-Hadi School. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research digs deeper into the fundamental values, norms and practices that shape the school learning environment. The findings reveal that Al-Hadi culture emphasizes discipline, adherence to religious values, and innovative teaching methods. While these elements have fostered a strong sense of community, they have also influenced the development of formal and hierarchical communication networks.

Abstract

Bok choy noodles are made from bok choy vegetables produced by residents of the Pabuaran Asri Housing Complex, Pabuaran Mekar Village, Cibinong District. In terms of production aspects, Bok choy noodles experiences problems in packaging noodle products because the consumer's location is quite far. One solution offered is to package the noodles in vacuum packaging using a vacuum press. This service activity was designed by the Faculty of Technology, Jayabaya University together with students with the theme of providing knowledge to the public about food packaging technology. The community group targeted was the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) RW 08. The aim of the community development activity is KWT members have knowledge of noodle packaging techniques and skills in using a vacuum press tool. The method used was counseling and training on tool use with a total of 14 participants. From the survey results, it was found that there was an increase in participants' knowledge and insight regarding noodle packaging technology.

Abstract

Abstrak Bakmi Pak Coy merupakan UMKM yang berlokasi didaerah Perumahan Pabuaran Asri RT 07/RW 08, Kelurahan Pabuaran Mekar Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor Jawa Barat. UMKM membuat inovasi dengan memanfaatkan bahan tanaman organik yaitu tanaman pak coy. Di mana bakmi Pak Coy ini dibuat untuk meningkatkan penghasilan warga Saat ini KWT RT07 telah memiliki anggota tetap sebanyak 20 orang yang berprofesi sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga. UMKM Bakmi Pak Coy memiliki masalah mengenai pengawetan mie, Solusi yang diberikan oleh tim Pengabdian Masyarakat yaitu pengawetan menggunakan teknologi pengeringan. Metode Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara pelatihan pengeringan mie dengan alat pengering. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini sangat membantu permasalahan peserta baik dari sisi pemahaman maupun pelayananan yang diberikan yang didasarkan pada hasil kuesioner dimana seluruh peserta menjawab benar semua jawaban yang diberikan dan diatas 90% responden menjawab puas akan pelayanan yang dibeikan panitia. Abstract

This study aims to review the implementation of the curriculum policy of Independent Learning in private Junior High School an Nizam Medan to achieve the goal of curriculum competence independent learning in order to create a superior generation. The research method used is a qualitative approach. In this study, data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. The Merdeka curriculum focuses on creative and free thinking. The Ministry of Education and culture has introduced the Driving School Program as one of the programs to encourage the implementation of an independent curriculum in every school. The results obtained are (1) Private Junior High School an Nizam Medan has successfully implemented an independent curriculum. (2) there are strategies that support the successful implementation of the independent curriculum in private Junior High School a Nizam Medan, (3) the challenges faced in the implementation of the independent curriculum.
