Abstract

This study aims to interpret the cost-benefit concept based on a socio-psychological perspective. This research uses an interpretive paradigm with a case study research design approach. The result found that the meaning of cost-benefit is divided into two groups, namely 1) the concept of material cost-benefit based on a socio-psychological perspective, where costs are interpreted as economic sacrifices and benefits are interpreted as society's perception of dignity (social and material status), 2) the non-material cost-benefit concept based on a socio-psychological perspective where costs are interpreted as a sense of pride (prestige) and strengthening family relationships. This study contributes to theory and practice which the interpretation of the cost-benefit concept in accounting has a broader context where costs are interpreted not just material (money) but there are non-material values that are formed because of the social and psychological environment and in terms of policy in the company, this interpretation can be taken into consideration in making policies. The novelty is trying to look at the concept of cost-benefit from a different perspective from accounting science, namely from a social psychology perspective which is expected to raise human awareness for the better.

Abstract

The phenomenon of viral justice has significantly transformed the law enforcement process in the era of social media and warrants thorough explanation and evaluation. However, previous research has failed to provide a comprehensive discussion of this phenomenon. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to elucidate and analyze how the characteristics, factors, and implications of viral justice affect the law enforcement process in the social media era, while also addressing the deficiencies in prior studies. The findings of this study unveil three significant conditions for the viral justice phenomenon that have emerged and evolved during the social media era. Firstly, the features of legal violation cases that go viral on social media are complex, encompassing a wide spectrum from minor to major infractions. Secondly, the spread of law enforcement cases on social media is influenced by contextual factors, such as ineffective law enforcement, unaddressed reports, and a perceived lack of transparency in law enforcement. Thirdly, the viral justice phenomenon has significantly impacted the image of law enforcement in the social media era, leading to increasingly complex and contextual perceptions. This is evident in the growing public distrust, delegitimization, and negative associations with the concept of justice. This study also underscores the necessity of investigating the public's motivations for sharing their interactions with law enforcement on social media.

Abstract

That partners still lack knowledge regarding the procedures for establishing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which need to be paid attention to by partners, the implementation team feels they have to provide education regarding matters regarding procedures for establishing business entities to partners and the surrounding community. The method of implementing the activity is legal education and discussion related to the theme which is conveyed to the public, especially business actors who are members of MSMEs who have not legally registered their businesses in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations. In the future, it is hoped that more MSME business actors will have legal awareness about how to set up a business entity so that they have legal certainty in carrying out their business activities. Then, with the continuation of this PKM activity using the same model, it can be applied to different MSMEs, and can even be expanded to MSMEs in other areas outside Kubu Raya Regency. It is also necessary to include other related parties, for example business groups, credit unions, banks and local governments, so that the scope of benefits of activities can be wider

Abstract

Healing of perineal wounds is influenced by several factors including culture of abstinence, nutrition, age, infrastructure, medicines, heredity. In this case, the culture of abstinence during the postpartum period is still being practiced, post- partum mothers who abstain from eating will avoid consuming fishy-smelling pro- teins such as: meat, eggs, fish, shrimp, crab, squid. So, in postpartum mothers who abstain from eating, the speed of healing of perineal wounds tends to be slow, and can cause infection during the postpartum period. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between food abstinence and the length of healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers in the Totokaton non-inpatient health cen- ter UPTD working area. This research uses a cross sectional design, the sampling technique uses incidental sampling. The research subjects were postpartum mothers on the 7th day who experienced second degree perineal rupture in the Totokaton Non-Inpatient Health Center UPTD working area. Data collection used a questionnaire. Research analysis used the Pearson Chi Square statistical test. The research was conducted in August 2024. The research results showed that of the 46 respondents, 30 postpartum mothers (65.5%) who abstained from food experienced slow healing of perineal wounds. After carrying out the chi square test, the result was p = 0.048, meaning a relationship between food abstinence and perineal wound healing. It is hoped that postpartum mothers will consume better nutrition by not abstaining from food, the better the perineal wound healing will be.
