Abstract

Public trust in the Indonesian insurance business is shaken by the crisis that rocked multiple insurance companies. This study investigates insurance brokerage institutions’ involvement in Indonesia’s insurance activities and how to improve public trust. This research uses normative legal research by examining library materials or secondary data. In contrast, the nature of the research is analytically descriptive, depicting the existence of insurance brokerage institutions in the Indonesian insurance industry for further analysis to complete the picture of brokerage companies’ role in improving the industry. The research found that insurance brokers help insureds choose an insurance carrier, handle the claims process, and resolve claim disputes, making them crucial to Indonesian insurance. Brokers can gain public trust by increasing insurance literacy, transparency of insurance product information, helping consumers resolve insurance claims and advising the Financial Services Authority on insurance regulations. To gain public trust in insurance, the insurance industry should prepare a more effective and comprehensive set of regulations to prevent legal uncertainty and provide adequate legal protection to customers. At a micro level, every regulation prepared by the company can provide certainty. The company’s ethics and corporate governance policy is explicit.

Abstract

Obat herbal atau obat tradisional adalah setiap bahan yang berupa tumbuhan, hewan, mineral, atau campuran dari bahan-bahan tersebut, yang secara tradisional telah digunakan untuk pengobatan secara turun-temurun. Keluarga berperan sebagai pengasuh utama balita dan bertanggung jawab atas kesehatan dan kesejahteraan anak-anak mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran keluarga dengan pola penggunaan herbal oleh orang tua kepada balita. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 31 narasumber, dalam frekuensi pemberian herbal kepada balita persentase terbesar yakni 1x sebulan sebesar 58,1%. Memanfaatkan herbal untuk pemulihan penyakit ISPA sebesar 35,5%. Herbal yang banyak diberikan kepada balita yakni jahe sebesar 29%. Sebesar 67,7% narasumber memanfaatkan herbal dengan diminum. Sebesar 100% narasumber menilai keadaan balita membaik setelah diberi herbal dan tidak ada efek samping. Sebesar 64,5% narasumber sumber informasi penggunaan herbal dari keluarga. Peran keluarga dalam pola penggunaan herbal didapatkan hasil sebesar 64,5% keluarga berperan sebagai informasional. Sebesar 35,5% berperan secara instrumental dalam hal peracikan herbal. Sebesar 64,5% keluarga berperan secara emosional dengan memberikan nasihat dan peringatan efek samping herbal. Diharapkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya menggunakan desain kuantitatif untuk menganalisis hubungan peran keluarga dengan pola penggunaan herbal kepada balita.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of the principal as supervisor in strengthening the effectiveness of administrative services at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. The focus of this research covers five main aspects: (1) the role of the principal in supervising school administration, (2) the influence of the principal's supervision on the effectiveness of school financial management, (3) the role of the principal in supervising facilities and infrastructure, (4) development of information systems to increase service effectiveness, as well as (5) challenges faced in implementing supervision of school principals. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is obtained through interviews, observation and documentation analysis. The research results show that school principals play a crucial role in improving administrative effectiveness through strict and consistent supervision. Principal supervision has been proven to be able to increase transparency in financial management, ensure maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, and support the development of a more effective school information system. However, the implementation of supervision still faces various challenges, such as limited resources and resistance from staff. The implications of this research emphasize that principals need to develop better adaptive strategies and supervisory skills to overcome these challenges. In this way, the role of the principal as supervisor can continue to be improved, so that the effectiveness of administrative services at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu becomes more optimal and supports the achievement of overall educational goals.

Abstract

The development of the E-Module on cases of learning difficulties integrated with the Koran is one of the appropriate counseling service media provided to students in schools. The research and development objectives that are expected in this study are to produce guidance and counseling service products in the form of E-Modules as a media solution for counseling services. The type of research is Research and Development, namely development research that uses quantitative data and qualitative data. This development research was conducted using the ASSURE development model. The research carried out resulted in the E-Modul product that the researcher developed managed to get results in the "Very Eligible" category. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of the E-Module on cases of learning difficulties integrated with the Koran is very effective for guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming problems that occur in schools. The developed E-Module is useful for students such as providing attractiveness to students in guidance and counseling services and solving learning difficulties that occur in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari pada masalahan yang ditemukan oleh peneliti selama observasi dan melakukan wawancara dengan guru PAI dan siswa yang berada di kelas VII di SMPN 1 Padang Gelugur. dalam situasi dimana alat dan media yang digunakan guru masih sangat sederhana seperti spidol dan papantulis. Siswa sering merasa bosan karena guru banyak menggunakan pendekatan ceramah dalam pembelajaran mereka.berdasarkan masalah di atas, penulis ingin membuat game pedidikan yang dapat memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode Research & Development model 4D digunakan dalam penelitian ini.  Define, desain, pengembangan dan penyebara dalah komponen model 4D. Hasil uji penulis menunjukkan bahwa empat penguji media dengan kriteria sangat valid  mendapatkan rata-rata 0,93, tiga penguji praktikalitas dengan kriteria sangat tinggi  mendapatkan rata-rata 0,94, dan hasil uji coba efektifitas dengan siswa sebanyak dua puluh siswa dengan kriteria sangat tinggi  mendapatkan rata-rata 0,88. Dengan demikian dapat di simpulkan bahwa game edukasi yang dirancang oleh penulis akan bermanfaat bagi siswa.

Abstract

A golden Indonesia in 2045 has become the hope of the Indonesian people, this is not without reason because Indonesia is experiencing a demographic bonus for the productive age group. Of course, the young people of Indonesia can continue the leadership of the nation and are able to be creative, independent and innovative. However, this will actually backfire if young people are unable to work and their thinking is damaged by pornographic videos, online gambling, drugs and bullying which robs the future of the nation's young generation. So, to help reduce the occurrence of this problem, we implemented a drug education program involving MAS Al-Huda teachers, the Head of BNN, and the Head of Buluh Kasap Subdistrict in outreach activities about the dangers of drugs and the dangers of bullying at school. Through education about the dangers of drugs and bullying, as well as trying to equip young people with the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can avoid these risks and focus on developing their potential positively. It is hoped that with this outreach, the younger generation will be better prepared to face challenges and contribute optimally to the nation's development in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Physics students in Class X of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir. This research is a pre-experimental study with a quantitative descriptive approach using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The study was conducted in Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, focusing on temperature and heat during April in the even semester of the academic year 2014/2015. The sample consisted of 22 students from Class X-2 of SMAN 3 Rambah Hilir, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a Physics learning outcomes test. Based on the data obtained from the pretest and posttest, where the students' pretest average score was 40.3, and the posttest average score was 82.4, the magnitude of the influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics was assessed using the N-gain test, which fell within the high criteria with an average N-gain value of 0.70. The impact of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model was observed through the achievement of learning objectives. Before the treatment, only 2 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved by students, with a classical mastery level of 13.3%. However, after applying the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model, 13 out of 15 learning objectives were achieved, with a classical mastery level of 86.7%. This result indicates a significant influence of the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model. Based on the research findings, there is an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in Physics when using the Learning Cycle 7E instructional model.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penelitian dan analisis data menjadi semakin penting, termasuk bagi tenaga pendidik. VOSviewer merupakan salah satu perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan analisis bibliometrik dan visualisasi data penelitian. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru di SMK Negeri 1 Somambawa dalam penggunaan VOSviewer guna meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam menganalisis literatur ilmiah dan tren penelitian di bidang pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta setelah pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan VOSviewer untuk analisis bibliometrik, yang dapat mendukung pengembangan penelitian dan penulisan ilmiah mereka. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap literatur yang relevan dan variasi tingkat pemahaman teknologi di kalangan peserta. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dan diharapkan dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penelitian di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Complications during childbirth are one of the leading causes of maternal mortality in Indonesia. This condition arises from high-risk pregnancies or deliveries and can threaten the lives of both the mother and the fetus, necessitating appropriate obstetric management. This study aims to determine the relationship between the 4 too much (4T) risks and antenatal care (ANC) compliance with labor complications at Baros Health Center in Serang Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia. This research employed an analytical design with a case-control framework. A total of 292 respondents were randomly selected as samples. Data were collected from annual report books, delivery registers, and e-cohorts. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results indicated that the incidence of childbirth complications occurred in 55.5% of the total respondents, with hemorrhage being the most common type of complication (34% of 162 complication cases). The occurrence of complications had a significant relationship with being too young (p=0.000; OR=9.8), being too old (p=0.000; OR=16.9), having too many children (p=0.000; OR=20.3), too close birth distance (p=0.000; OR=7.5), and ANC compliance (p=0.000; OR=62.2). The most significant risk factor was ANC compliance. Based on the study's findings, promotional and preventive efforts need to be enhanced through education on the importance of ANC compliance for pregnant women. Additionally, family planning programs should be strengthened to prevent pregnancies at too young or too old ages, manage the number of children, and ensure ideal birth spacing.

Abstract

Indonesian government policy on enhancing SMEs to go international needs support, also, from educational sector, as part of pentahelix. Potentials SME batik has and the problem in completing communication channels it is experiencing, this developmental study addresses. By employing design and development research (DDR), this study developed ‘about us’ and ‘our products’ pages by using applied genre as the framework. The pages were then published on owned media in the form of a website. Following ADDIE model as the research procedure, this study focused on the first three stages- analysis, design, and development-as this was an initial stage. The results of ‘about us’ and ‘our products’ pages were validated by two experts: language expert from a vocational higher institution and content expert from industry. The validation results show positive feedback from both experts in terms of relevance, understandability, language, reliability, adequacy, scope, usefulness, and multimodality. It leads to the possibility to apply applied genre not only in teaching language for specific purposes but also in solving SME batik’s business communication problems.
