Abstract

The skill of writing the description response text of student in class VII was problem in this research. The purpose of this study was to describe the skill of writing description response text in class VII. The method used was quantitative descriptive method. The data source of this study was the student of class VII SMPN 1 Way Jepara in academic years 2015/2016. The technique used was written and documentation. The test data data was analyzed and assessed by two examiners were researcher and researchers mate. The results of this study showed that the average value of students skill in writing arguments essay are in good categories. The average per aspect are (1) The table of contents is 82,39% with good category, (2) the arrangement of ideas is 83,17% with good category, (3) the sentence is 78,75% with good category, (4) diction is 72,24% with good category, (5) the spelling is 68,40% with the enough category.Kemampuan menulis teks tanggapan deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII merupakan masalah dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks tanggapan deskripsi siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Way Jepara tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tertulis dan dokumentasi. Data hasil tes dianalisis dan dinilai 2 penilai yaitu peneliti dan rekan satu prodi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata siswa dalam menulis teks tanggapan deskripsi berada pada kategori baik. Pada indikator isi gagasan yang dikemukakan mencapai persentase 82,39%, organisasi isi dengan persentase 83,17%, tata bahasa mencapai persentase 78,75% dan pemilihan kata atau diksi mencapai 72,24%, penggunaan ejaan mencapai 68,40%.Kata kunci: kemampuan, menulis, tanggapan deskripsi

Abstract

The problem of this research was how to mix the code in the movie My Stupid Boss. This study aims to describe the mixed code in the film and its implications for language learning in high school. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Sources of research data was dialogue of characters in this movie. Analysis of data mixed code found in the form of insertion elements in the form of words, clauses, and word repetition. Causes of mixed code contained in the movie was the language factor and background attitude of speakers. In connection with learning, mixed code in the my stupid boss movie can be used as an example of the use of good and correct Indonesian language and its use contextually. Relation to teaching materials can be used as a medium of learning to write text script drama/movie.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah campur kode dalam film My Stupid Boss. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan campur kode dalam film tersebut dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini dialog antartokoh dalam film tersebut.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data campur kode yang ditemukan berupa penyisipan unsur-unsur berupa kata, klausa, dan perulangan kata. Faktor penyebab campur kode yang terdapat dalam film tersebut adalah faktor kebahasaan dan latar belakang sikap penutur. Kaitannya dengan pembelajaran, campur kode dalam film My Stupid Boss dapat dijadikan sebagai contoh penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar serta penggunaannya secara kontekstual. Kaitannya dengan bahan ajar dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran menulis teks naskah drama/film.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, campur kode, film my stupid boss.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning to write old poems dan new poems. Method which is used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the teacher have done three stages of learning there is learning plan, the implementation of learning, and assessment of learning. Activities that teachers doing include three phases of activity, namely preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. At the core activity occurs student activity which includes activities to observe, such as the trying activity reasoning activity, and the activity of communicating, in the evaluation of learning outcomes theachers evaluation also fulfill criteria in accordance with the curriculum learning in 2013 that authentic assessment that includes the realm of attitudes, knowledge, and skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran menulis puisi lama dan puisi baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan tiga tahap pembelajaran yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Aktivitas yang dilakukan guru seperti tiga tahap kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pada kegiatan inti terjadi aktivitas siswa yang meliputi aktivitas mengamati, aktivitas menanya, aktivitas mencoba, aktivitas menalar, dan aktivitas mengomunikasikan. Dalam kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran hasil evaluasi yang telah dilaksanakan guru juga telah memenuhi kriteria penilaian pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013 yaitu penilaian autentik yang mencakup ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.Kata kunci: penerapan penilaian, perencanaan, puisi.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the comparison between the result study of reading comprehension through POINT strategy and SQ3R strategy. the improvement of reading ability in the experiment class can be seen from the average score of the pre test that is 62 and post test that is 82,37 so it is 20,37. diffrence improvement of reading ability in the control can be seen from the average score of pre test that is 64,17 and post test that is 78,3. So there is difference 14,13 from those two test. The ability of reading comprehension in the first test in the experiment class and control get the difference score 2,17 from the average score between experiment that is 62 and control 64,17. Ability of reading comprehension in the last in the experiment and control get difference score 4,07 ,the average score between experiment 82,37 and control 78,3Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan strategi POINT strategi SQ3R. Peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman di kelas eksperimen dilihat rata-rata-rata skor pretes yaitu 62 dan postes yaitu 82,37 maka diperoleh selisih 20,37. Peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman di kelas kontrol dilihat dari rata-rata skor pretes yaitu 64,17 dan postes yaitu 78,3, maka diperoleh selisih 14,13 dari kedua tes tersebut. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada tes awal di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol memperoleh selisih skor 2,17 dari rata-rata skor antara eksperimen yaitu 62 dan kontrol yaitu 64,17. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada tes akhir di eksperimen dan kontrol memperoleh selisih skor 4,07 dari rata-rata skor antara eksperimen 82,37 dan kontrol yaitu 78,3.Kata kunci: kemampuan membaca, perbandingan, strategi.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to describe the plots in Novel Ayahku bukan Pembohong by Tere Liye and explore the implications towards the literature teaching learning in Senior High School. This research was a descriptive-qualitative, which the technique implemented was text analysis. The result of this research showed that the novel plots are divided into 5 stages; descripting has 39 data, showing conflict has 31 data, raising conflict has 19 data, climax has 4 data, and resolution has 7 data. The implication of this research was approppriate in literature teaching learning of senior high school for novel material.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Tahapan Alur dalam novel Ayahku bukan Pembohong karya Tere Liye dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis teks. Hasil analisis secara secara keseluruhan pada Ayahku bukan Pembohong karya Tere Liye terdiri atas alur yang di bagi menjadi lima tahap yaitu, penyituasian 39 data, pemunculan konflik 31 data, peningkatan konflik 19 data, klimaks 4 data, dan penyelesaian 7 data. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas XII pada materi novel.Kata kunci: tahapan alur, implikasi, dan novel

Abstract

This research will be discussed about how the studying process of news text reading XI grade students. The aim of this research is to describe studying process of news text reading on students. This focused on the planning practicing, evaluating studying of news text reading. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data source is from news text reading activity. The data collecting technique are observing teacher’s and students’ activity, video recording, interview. And the data analyzing technique use flow models. The analysis includes three activities, data reduction, data presentasion, conclusion. The result of this research are lesson plan of news text reading students based on assessment learning plan instrument, implementation learning of news text reading based implementation process instrument of learning by teacher, students’ activity based on observation instruments. This research uses performance assesment technique as the evaluation.Masalah yang dibahas penelitian ini bagaimanakah proses pembelajaran membaca teks berita siswa kelas XI. Masalah penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran membaca teks berita siswa SMA , difokuskan pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi pembelajaran membaca teks berita. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber penelitian kegiatan pembelajaran membaca teks berita siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi aktivitas siswa, guru, rekaman video, wawancara. Teknik analisis data penelitian analisis data model alir. Analisis mencakup tiga kegiatan, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan-temuan penelitian rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca teks berita siswa kelas XI, berdasarkan Instrumen Penilaian Perencanaan Pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca berita berdasarkan Instrumen Proses Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran oleh guru, aktivitas siswa berdasarkan Instrumen Observasi Aktivitas Siswa. Evaluasi digunakan pembelajaran membaca teks berita yakni teknik penilaian unjuk kerja.Kata kunci: instrumen, pembelajaran, teks berita.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the learning of writing short story at the first grade of SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The research used descriptivequalitative design. The result of the research showed that the teacher had done three steps in learning. They were: lesson planning, implementating, and assessing. In lesson planning, the teacher made the lesson plan without including the model of learning but other components had been included completely based on the lesson plans components in 2013 curriculum. In the implementation of learning, there were two activities: teachers activities and students activities. The activities that were done by teacher including three activities: pre activities, while activity and post activity. The assessment that was done by teacher including affective assessment through observation technique, cognitive assessment through oral and written test, and psychomotor assessment through practice test.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas XI SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan tiga tahapan dalam pembelajaran yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran, guru membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) tanpa mencantumkan model pembelajaran sedangkan komponen yang lain sudah dicantumkan berdasarkan komponen-komponen RPP pada Kurikulum 2013. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat dua aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas guru dan siswa. Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru mencakup penilaian kompetensi sikap dengan teknik observasi, penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan dengan teknik tes tulis dan tes lisan, dan penilaian kompetensi keterampilan dengan teknik tes praktik.Kata kunci: cerita pendek, menulis, pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research problem was class management  Bahasa’s teacher SMP . The purpose of this research was making a description of class management for Bahasa’s teacher that consist of class management approach, principles of class management, and class room regulation. Observation, documentation, recording and range note will be done by used descriptive, qualitative and data technique accumulation method. Here are research results bellow: (1) Class management approach have 3 sub indicators of 20 marking data. Those data are indicated 19 of data are done and 1 data is undone. (2)Class management principles have 6 sub indicators and 32 marking data. Those data are indicated 32  data are done well by Bahasa’s teacher. (3) Class room regulation has 4  sub indicators and 21 marking data. Those data are indicated 20 data are appropriate based on marking criteria and 1 data is not appropriate to kelas VII e SMP Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung.Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan kelas guru bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan kelas guru bahasa Indonesia yang terdiri atas pendekatan pengelolaan kelas, prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan kelas, dan penataan ruang kelas. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, rekaman, dan catatan lapangan di peroleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) pendekatan pengelolaan kelas terdapat 3 subindikator 20 data yang dinilai. Data tersebut menunjukan 19 yang terlaksana dan 1 tidak terlaksana. (2) prinsip-prinsip pengelolaan kelas tedapat 6 subindikator dan 32 data yang dinilai. Data tersebut menunjukan 32 data terlaksana dengan baik oleh guru bahasa Indonesia. (3) penataan ruang kelas terdapat 4 sub indikator dan 21 data yang dinalai. Data tersebut menunjukan 20 data tepat berdasarkan kriteria penilaian dan 1 data yang tidak tepat pada kelas VII e SMP Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: pendekatan pengelolan kelas, prinsip pengelolaan kelas, dan penataan ruang kelas.

Abstract

Main problem which occured in this reaserch is using spelling for the students’ thesis of Lampung University in teacher training and education faculty of history education study program in 2012 and successfully to be conducted. The purpose of  reasearch is to describe about what is right and error in using spelling for the students’ thesis of Lampung University in teacher training and education faculty of history education study program in 2012. The reasercher used qualitative describing method in collecting the data. The sources in this reaserch is the students’ thesis of teacher training and education faculty of history study program for March period in 2012, and amounted about nine papers. Data was gained by documentary technique which held by the researcher in several weeks. In analyzing, data went to the theories of Miles and Huberman which stated by three steps are (1) reduction, (2) application, and (3) conclusion or verification. The result of this research told about 5.890 people or 93% was right in using spelling for their thesis and 429 others or 7% was still error in the written of theirs. In using spelling, it must be constructed by capital and italic letters, derivation words, suffix –di, numbering and count, using full-stop, and comma.Key Words: spelling, using the letter, writing the word, and panctuation.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe of the correlation between students reading interest towards students short story writing ability of the tenth class at SMAN 4 Bandarlampung in 2012/2013. This research used correlation descriptive method. The subject of the research is student of the tenth class at SMAN 4 Bandarlampung. Based on the conducted research showed that students reading interestof tenth class at that school is included in middle predicate, that is the average score achievement is 62.47. Short story writing ability is include in high predicate, with the average score achievement is 73.67. As the large ofthe correlation between students reading interest towards students short story writing abilityas large as 0.638. based on interpretation tabel score r is showed the correlation between reading interest and short story writing ability includedthe high predicate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan minat baca dengan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X sekolah menengah atas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Minat baca siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 termasuk dalam predikat cukup, yaitu mencapai presentase nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 67,42. Kemampuan menulis cerita pendek termasuk dalam predikat baik, yaitu mencapai presentase nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 73,67. Besarnya nilai hubungan minat baca dan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek sebesar 0,638. Menurut tabel interpretasi nilai r maka tampak adanya hubungan minat baca dan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek yang termasuk dalam predikat tinggi.Kata kunci: hubungan, kemampuan, menulis, minat baca.
