Abstract

The realization of good government in each region requires transparency and openness from the public sector so that the public can control and improve the performance of local governments. This paradigm gives the government the widest possible autonomy but must be balanced with proper regional financial management. APBD stands for “Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah” in Indonesian, which translates to “Regional Government Budget” in English. APBD is a strategic agenda in improving people’s welfare. Not all regions succeed in functioning the APBD properly. The aim of the study was to find out whether the Padangsidimpuan City Fire and Rescue Service had properly recorded or not (according to Permendagri No. 13 of 2006 and PP No. 24 of 2005 concerning Regional Financial Management) as a reference. The research methodology in the author’s research is a qualitative research design that aims to understand the data obtained in the form of notes and financial reports. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data and the data obtained, namely by field research data collection techniques and library research.

This type of research is quantitative, which is a method of comparing company ratios from year to year which includes current ratios and fast ratios. The results of the company's liquidity analysis from 2015 to 2017, in general, can be said that the company's performance is not good enough. It can be seen from the fluctuations in the Current Ratio and Quick Ratio achieved by the company. The company's liquidity decreased due to short-term debt increasing greater than current assets. This is due to the company's bank loan maturing in December 2015 which resulted in the results of the current ratio analysis and the ratio fluctuating quickly.

Abstract

Indonesian people have long used traditional medicinal ingredients as alternative medicine before the existence of modern health services. Ancestors' lives in harmony with nature foster awareness that nature provides medicine for themselves and society.Traditional medicines generally come from plants, although some ingredients come from animals. This treatment has been carried out for generations, but has not been officially recorded by the government and has not been scientifically documented. This research aims to provide scientific information regarding the use of medicinal plants, as well as identifying the types of plants, parts used, and how they are processed by the community in Rano Jaya Village, ToariDistrict, Kolaka Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely providing an overview of the object being studied in natural conditions. The research results identified 30 types of plants from 23 families that were known to the public as medicinal, with positive perceptions regarding the safety of consuming medicinal plants. The most widely used plant parts are leaves (47.5%) and fruit (17.5%). The common processing methods are boiling (46.5%) and mashing (18.6%). The percentage of utilization of other plant parts includes seeds (5%), stems (15%), roots (2.5%), flowers (2.5%), and tubers (10%). These findings emphasize the importance of local knowledge about medicinal plants for public health and the preservation of traditions and biodiversity.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study purposes to investigate the complex relationship among work autonomy, work crafting, work satisfaction, and innovative work behaviour. Background Problems: How autonomy, crafting, and work satisfaction relate and, more collectively, affect young lecturers' innovative work behaviours within the shifting educational circumstances in Indonesia is a major concern. Novelty: This research has groundbreaking importance because it applies the self-determination theory to this particular academic context of Indonesia. It emphasises the impact of cultural variations on the motivation and behaviour of young lecturers. It offers an innovative perspective on how young lecturers may be innovative and adaptable in the face of pedagogical and technical changes that are occurring at a fast rate. Research Methods: The study uses a mixed method approach in which 382 young lecturers from state universities in Indonesia participate in surveys, in-depth interviews, and participatory observations. By using structural equation modelling (SEM) by Lisrel and systematically coded by NVIVO, it becomes possible to analyse the complex interrelationships between the variables. Finding/Result: Work crafting on work satisfaction and work satisfaction on innovative behaviour has a significant positive impact. In contrast, work autonomy has no significant influence on lecturer work satisfaction. Excessive autonomy and interference without assistance will lower lecturer work satisfaction. In a dynamic educational environment, encouraging young lecturers to use creative teaching techniques and having institutional support can boost their creativity. Conclusion: What is brought into sharp focus through this study is the balance of autonomy with adequate support for young lecturers in a world that is rapidly developing in terms of digital education. Thus, pressure exists in universities to ensure young lecturers enjoy convenience in their work and support them to ensure they obtain the institutional support and work tools required in the digital era.

This study uses a descriptive research approach with quantitative methods. It was carried out at UPT SMAN 1 Gowa with a population of XI MIPA student consisting of 8 classes. The research sample consisted of 36 people who were randomly selected. The instrument used was a student self-confidence questionnaire with 30 items, which measured indicators of self-confidence, assertiveness, responsibility, and positive thinking. Attitude data that was originally ordinal in nature was processed using Microsoft Excel with the Successive Interval (MSI) method, turning it into interval data. After processing the data, analysis and classification are carried out based on the percentage of the attitude scale. The results showed that the level of self-confidence of class XI MIPA students at UPT SMAN 1 Gowa as a whole was low. The percentage of the indicator of self-confidence is 66% in the low category, the percentage of the indicator of assertiveness is 67.33% which is also low, the percentage of the indicator of responsibility is 70% which is in the medium category, and the percentage of the indicator of positive thinking is 69% which is also low. Although the indicator of being responsible has the highest percentage, overall all indicators of student self-confidence are in the low category, especially the indicator of self-confidence.
