Abstract

Abstract

This research discusses the role of leaders in strategic decision-making in companies, focusing on strategy implementation and the influence of leadership styles on strategic decisions. The purpose of this study is to analyze how transformational, transactional, democratic, and autocratic leadership styles influence the decision-making process and its outcomes. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a literature review, which collects, analyzes, and synthesizes information from various scientific sources related to strategic management and leadership. The results show that transformational leadership style has a significant positive influence on decision-making effectiveness, as it can increase employee motivation and engagement. Meanwhile, the transactional leadership style is more effective in short-term decision-making, and the democratic style is less effective in strategic decision-making because leaders are not actively involved in the process. At the same time, the autocratic style is highly dominated by the leader in determining decisions in the company. This study also concluded that leaders who can adapt their leadership style to the dynamics of the organizational situation can improve the performance and long-term competitiveness of the organization. These findings provide insights for companies in choosing the right leadership style to support the implementation of corporate social responsibility and more effective decision-making

Abstract

The study of this article is the aspects of God in theological and plurality of beings by raising three sub-problems, namely: 1) theological views about God (nature, justice, power, and the absolute will of God; 2) the concept of plurality in terms of various aspects; and 3) analysis of the plurality of beings and the unity of Khalik in Islamic perspective. This type of research is a text study using content analysis techniques. The results showed that Mu'tazilah views that God as not having nature and human actions is the will of man himself as a manifestation of God's justice, because humans have freedom. While Ash'ariyah views that God has nature and human actions are manifestations of God's will. The plurality of beings is a necessity as well as sunnatullah. The rejection of the plurality of beings is the rejection of something that is supposed to happen and the disbelief of God's destiny. Plurality is not only an awareness of a diverse society, consisting of various tribes and religions, which only illustrates the impression of fragmentation. But the recognition of plurality must be accompanied by a deep awareness to jointly build a relationship based on appreciation for diversity. Muslims, as the majority of the nation quantitatively, must set an example in realizing unity, unity and peace in the midst of the plurality and diversity of this nation by referring to the Prophet himself.

Abstract

Investment trends in Indonesia have shown a significant increase, partly driven by the dominance of Generation Z as capital market investors. An interesting phenomenon emerges when Generation Z, despite having relatively low and unstable income, continues to dominate investment activities in the capital market. Based on this condition, this study aims to analyze the influence of Income Level, Digital Literacy, and Social Environment on Investment Intention among Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. This research uses primary data with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 100 Generation Z respondents aged 20–27 years who already have income and reside in DKI Jakarta. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, with a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The partial test (t-test) results show that Income Level has no significant effect on Investment Intention, while Digital Literacy and Social Environment have a positive and significant effect. The simultaneous test (F-test) results indicate that Income Level, Digital Literacy, and Social Environment together have a significant positive effect on Investment Intention. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for developing financial education strategies and investor protection programs targeting young investors in Indonesia.

Abstract

Edible mushrooms are used as a food source because they are low in fat, high in protein, and rich in vitamins. In addition to being a food source, mushrooms are known to have potential as immunomodulators for various diseases such as cancer, tumors, HIV, tuberculosis, and others. The substances in mushrooms that have potential as antitumor and immunomodulatory agents are polysaccharides. These polysaccharides possess immune-stimulating, anti-tumor, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiviral activities. One example of an edible mushrooms is  gerigit mushroom (Schizophyllum commune). Until now, the research on Schizophyllum commune is still limited, especially regarding the quantitative determination of the amount of polysaccharides. This study aims to determine the total amount of polysaccharides in Schizophyllum commune from central Thailand using phenol-sulfuric acid and freeze-drying methods. Total polysaccharide concentration data were analyzed using absorbance data obtained from measurements of blank and standard samples on a spectrophotometer and analyzed using microsoft excel software. The results of this study indicate the presence of polysaccharides in Schizophyllum commune, which are characterized by the presence of orange color in the sample when phenol and sulfuric acid solutions are mixed. While for the concentration of total polysaccharides in the Schizophyllum commune samples FD1, FD2 and FD3 obtained consecutive results 42.5256 mg/g 33.7002 mg/g 36.6327 mg/g with an average of 37.62 mg/g. This study shows that gerigit mushrooms have potential as a source of bioactive compounds in the form of polysaccharides that can be used in the health sector
