Abstract

The problems examined in this study are the Writing Ability Based on Experience in Class V Odd Semester 4 Jati Baru Elementary School South Lampung 2018/2019 Academic Year. The main objects that will be analyzed include: Ideas, organizations, styles, and mechanics. This research was conducted to find out and describe the ability of writing based on the experience of odd grade V students of SD Negeri 4 Jati Baru, South Lampung, 2018/2019 Academic Year. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. The population of this study was 38 classes throughout the class. The study sample was set 38 or the entire population was the subject of research. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data collection techniques use performance. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the ability to compile based on the experience in the fifth grade students of the even semester of SD Negri 4 Jati Baru, South Lampung 2018/2019 Academic Year was sufficient, the final average score was 62. Ability in each aspect, namely the ability of students to form aspects of ideas with less the average value is 54, the organizational aspect is lacking because the average value is 55, the aspect of the style reaches an average value of 61 or in sufficient category, the mechanical aspect reaches a value of 74 or enough. Obstacles experienced are less able to determine ideas well because of weak ideas and knowledge, it is difficult to organize ideas because they do not know the technical, there are still many mistakes in words and sentence patterns that vary, also because of lack of understanding, and do not master spelling procedures so that there are many spelling aberrations. The solution starts making a theme or title of the writing, collects the vocabulary according to the theme and selects it, prepares the EYD book for the practice of composing, and continues to compose the essay intensively in the training process.

Abstract

The problems raised in this study are related to the students' ability to compose a reading text summary. This study aims to determine and describe the level of the students' ability to compose a reading text summary in grade V SD Negeri 2 Talang Bandar Lampung. To achieve the research objectives mentioned above, the author uses descriptive quantitative methods, while the data collection technique uses test techniques. The population in this study amounted to 70 students and the number of samples in this study was determined as many as 25 people. The sampling technique used is the Stratiffied Proposional Random Sampling technique. Analyzing the data in this study is to use a percentage. The results showed that the ability to compile a reading text summary in the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Talang Bandar Lampung was in the Enough category. This is known from the average score obtained by students, namely 72.4. The average score obtained by students based on the aspects of their assessment is as follows: (1) the summary aspect contains the main thoughts of each paragraph is Sufficient; (2) the conciseness of the sentences is Sufficient, (3) language that is easy to understand gets very good scores, (4) the contents of the summary using the language of the summary writers themselves get Sufficient values, (5) the choice of words (diction) gets the value of Enough, and (6) the use of punctuation marks / punctuation obtains Sufficient value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of character education at SDN 3 Kaliawi in cultivating the strengthening of nationalist character and integrity in schools. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that seeks to reveal in depth the findings of the existing data based on the data to be presented and interpreted. Data collection was carried out under natural conditions, primary data sources and data collection techniques were dominated by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The qualitative data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of character education through school culture was integrated in intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Character values ​​that can be formed through school culture are nationalism and integrity. The obstacles encountered in the process of cultivating character values ​​in schools are the lack of attention of parents to students and a less conducive environment. While the solutions to overcome the problem of implementing KDP based on school culture are: 1) attention to students; 2) socialization to parents; and 3) mutual respect.

Abstract

: The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by applying the recitation method to reading material for grade 4 students SDN 10 Way Lima Pesawaran. The approach used in this study was a scientific approach with the recitation method. As for the steps of the recitation method, namely : (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. Data collection techinques using observation sheets and students learning outcomes test. The data analysis technique used the formula for analyzing students learning outcomes and the percentage of completeness in student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the apllication of the recitation method can improve students learning outcomes. Seen from the initial observatations with the number of students 17 students. Students learninf outcomes can increase thin can be seen from the student laerning outcomes test cycle 1 the average value at the first meeting is 5,23% and the second semester is 6,29%. Then in cycle 2 the implementation was only carried out once in a meeting with the test results cery clearly seen the improvement and had exceeded the standard of complete learning that had been determined by the Indonesian language education curriculum, which was an average of 6.70%.

Abstract

We often encounter in learning Indonesian, especially listening skills, which are often considered boring by students. This happened due to several factors, namely factors originating from students which included a lack of student interest in listening. Meanwhile, other factors come from learning media which are still monotonous and also have an impact on student learning outcomes. In the interview that the writer conducted with the 2nd grade teacher at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo, the writer found that the student learning outcomes were still low with an average score of 64.07 with 15 students who achieved mastery learning with a mastery percentage of 55.56% of the the total number of students totaling 27 students. Thus, the success of listening to students at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo can be said to be still low because there are still many students who have not achieved mastery in learning. There are 12 students who have not achieved listening comprehension mastery with a percentage of 44.44%. Thus, there is a need for improvement to improve students' listening results at SD Negeri 1 Parerejo by implementing learning using aids in the form of learning media.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of Indonesian language in reading skills of grade II students of SD Negeri 1 Kebon Jeruk Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study was to improve the reading skills of grade II students of SD Negeri 1 Kebon Jeruk and to see students' activities in reading skills through the use of picture media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the stages of each cycle consisting of: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 26 students of which 12 male students and 14 female students. The data collection tools used were observation sheets, documentation and oral reading tests. Data analysis techniques are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research on reading skills using gambat media were able to improve students' reading skills. It is evident that the improvement of reading skills using image media in cycle I with an average of 67.73% or 57.69% of students who meet the value of the completeness criteria, and in cycle II experienced a good improvement by using image media with an average of 80.76% or 84.61% of students who met the minimum completion criteria (KKM). In addition, the results of observations of student and teacher activities in learning to read from cycle I to cycle II have increased, this shows that the use of image media can improve students' reading skills.
