Abstract

Introduction: Spiritual care for children is important in the care provided by nurses so that children do not feel guilty when being treated in the hospital. It is important for nurses to understand that the process of providing nursing care is bio-psycho-social and spiritual based. This study aimed to find out the relationship between knowledge, self-efficacy, and nurse behavior in the provision of spiritual care for school-age children in hospitals. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with a purposive sampling technique followed by 102 nurses who cared for school-age children in a pediatric nursing room. Knowledge was measured using the Spiritual Care-Giving Scale, Self-Efficacy was measured by Burkhart Spiritual Care Inventory (BCI), and Nurse Spiritual Care Therapeutic Scale (NSCTS) to measure behavior. The data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and Spearman correlation test. Results: There was no significant correlation between knowledge and behavior (p = 0.181; r = 0.133);  however, there was  a significant correlation of nurse behavior with self-efficacy (p = 0.027; r = 0.219), age (p = 0.015; r = 0.240), length of work (p = 0.021; r = 0.228), and spiritual care training (p = 0.001). Conclusion: Knowledge does not have a significant relationship with behavior. However self-efficacy, age, length of work, and spiritual care training significantly affects the nurse's behavior in providing spiritual care to school-age children in the hospital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and resilience on employee engagement in the financial services industry in Medan City. A quantitative method was employed. The study involved 111 individuals, selected using simple random sampling. The resilience scale consisted of 16 items, the emotional intelligence scale 14 items, and the employee engagement scale 15 items. Data were collected using Likert scale questionnaires administered to the subjects. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. Classical assumption tests, including tests for normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation, were conducted before hypothesis testing. The analysis technique involved multiple regression to test the major hypothesis, the first minor hypothesis, and the second minor hypothesis. The results showed that here is a significant relationship between resilience and emotional intelligence and employee engagement, with an F-value of 63.673 greater than the F-table value (3.08) and a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05, indicating that the major hypothesis is accepted. There is no significant relationship between resilience and employee engagement, with a t-value of -0.782 less than the t-table value (1.9821) and a significance level greater than 0.05, indicating that the first minor hypothesis is rejected. There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and employee engagement, with a t-value of 11.258 greater than the t-table value (1.9821) and a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05, indicating that the second minor hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Street children constitute a highly vulnerable population who spend most of their time in public spaces working in the informal sector and are at increased risk of engaging in deviant behaviours. Social support and resilience are recognised as key protective factors that may enable street children to adapt to adversity. This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional correlational design to examine the association between social support and resilience among street children in Semarang City, Indonesia. A total of 42 street children were recruited using accidental sampling. Data were collected using modified Likert-type questionnaires measuring social support (social embeddedness, enacted support, and perceived support) and resilience (emotion regulation, impulse control, causal analysis, self-efficacy, realistic optimism, empathy, and reaching out). Data were analysed using univariate statistics and Spearman’s rank correlation test. Most respondents reported moderate levels of social support (90.48%) and resilience (66.67%). Spearman’s test indicated a significant, positive, yet low correlation between social support and resilience (p = 0.014; r = 0.228). These findings suggest that higher social support is associated with greater resilience, although other internal and external factors are likely to contribute to resilience among street children.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to enhance the production and management of Trigona honey bee culture as an alternative economic resource within the Adian Nasonang Forest Farmers Group (KTH). This initiative aims to enhance KTH Adian Nasonang by augmenting the technical and managerial capabilities of Trigona bee cultivation. This issue was addressed through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which positions the partner community as an active participant in every phase of the activity. The activity involved members of KTH Adian Nasonang. The conducted activities demonstrated an enhancement in partners' comprehension of Trigona honey bee cultivation, as evidenced by the rise in the baseline questionnaire score from 53.35 to the final score of 82.94. In other terms, there was a 61.02% increase in the moderate group. The activity's outcomes indicated an enhancement in partners' comprehension of Trigona bee culture, maintenance methodologies, and safe, efficient harvesting practices. Furthermore, there was an enhancement in the group's motivation and preparedness to pursue apiculture as an alternative revenue stream. This community service initiative has effectively enhanced the knowledge, abilities, and preparedness of KTH Adian Nasonang in the cultivation of Trigona bees, hence potentially bolstering the community's income sources.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of strengthening an anti-corruption culture to build honest attitudes among students of SMAN 2 Boyolali. Corruption threatens the order of national life, not only in government but also in educational environments, such as dishonesty, time corruption, and conditions in schools. This emphasizes the urgency of instilling anti-corruption values from an early age. The research method used an interactive socialization approach with educational videos about anti-corruption education. The activity was carried out in grades 11-6 of SMAN 2 Boyolali on November 19, 2025, for 45 minutes. The process began with an interview with the guidance counselor for information on student behavior, delivery of material by the resource person, video screening, and a question and answer session. The outcome showed that students were enthusiastic about understanding the material, gaining new knowledge about honesty, responsibility, and integrity. A total of 36 students representing the class committed to implementing anti-corruption values, upholding moral honesty, and daring to reprimand dishonest friends. This study emphasizes the role of anti-corruption education in high schools as a strategy for preventing corruption and developing the character of a young generation with integrity and morals, and contributing to a culture of honesty and justice in society.
