Abstract

Success in internalizing religious values in society depends on several important things such as the method used, the character and qualifications of the preacher, and a supportive environment. To prove this, this research is presented, where the author will examine the efforts to internalize the values of religious moderation carried out by religious leaders in Ngepet Srigading Sanden Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive-analytic type of field research. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods, using Miles and Huberman analysis, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research show that, in instilling wasatiyah Islamic values through two channels, namely: first, the important role of K.H Daru Kawantoro who has wasatiyah character is able to integrate the study of the taklim assembly with his various experiences when interacting or gathering with figures from across sects/faiths. Second, learning outside the mosque, the methods used are the uswah hasanah method and the direct practice method, the learning process occurs when the community takes lessons or imitates what is exemplified by community religious leaders, the learning is reflected in the activities and interactions demonstrated directly by K.H. Daru Kawantoro in the Ngepet Srigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta community.

Abstract

Background: High-risk pregnancy poses significant challenges to both maternal and fetal health, increasing the risk of complications, anxiety, and elevated cortisol levels. Anxiety in high-risk pregnancies has been widely studied, but most interventions focus on pharmacological treatments or psychological support without integrating physiological stress markers such as cortisol levels. Psychoeducation is a nonpharmacological intervention designed to enhance understanding, equip women with stress management skills, and promote confidence in facing pregnancy. However, limited studies have examined its direct impact on both anxiety and cortisol levels in high-risk pregnant women.Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation in reducing anxiety and cortisol levels among high-risk pregnant women. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design without a control group. The intervention consisted of four structured psychoeducation sessions, each lasting 120 minutes over two weeks. A total of 23 high-risk pregnant women participated in the study. Anxiety levels were measured using the DASS-21, and cortisol levels were assessed through saliva samples collected before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: The findings revealed a significant reduction in anxiety scores from 15.60 ± 2.99 to 8.52 ± 1.88 (p < 0.001) and cortisol levels from 15.72 ± 9.10 to 10.40 ± 6.97 (p < 0.001), indicating the effectiveness of psychoeducation in reducing both psychological and physiological stress in high-risk pregnancies. Conclusion: Psychoeducation, delivered through four sessions over two weeks, is effective in reducing anxiety and cortisol levels in high-risk pregnant women. This intervention should be integrated into prenatal care to support maternal well-being and stress management.

Abstract

Kapanewon Pundong is in an active tectonic zone and has experienced significant seismic events, including the 2006 Bantul earthquake (Mw 6.3), which caused extensive damage. Liquefaction was a key contributor to infrastructure failure during the event. This study aims to evaluate liquefaction potential in Kapanewon Pundong through integrated microtremor and geospatial analysis. The Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method assessed local site effects that influence ground shaking. Liquefaction probability was estimated using the model by Zhu et al. (2017), considering parameters such as Vₛ₃₀, PGV, water table depth (WTD), distance to water bodies (DW), and average annual precipitation. The research findings include Vₛ₃₀ values that range from 221 to 893 m/s, PGV values from 16 to 29 cm/s. Panjangrejo and Srihardono villages exhibit the highest liquefaction probabilities, up to 30%. The estimated Liquefaction Spatial Extent (LSE) in these areas reaches 5.1%. These findings identify high-risk zones for earthquake-induced liquefaction and provide a quantitative foundation for spatial planning and disaster mitigation strategies in the region.

Abstract

Abstract

The Subdistrict of Depok, with the largest population in Sleman Regency, is a region that drives economic, social, and cultural development. This growth further increases the risk of earthquakes, given the presence of the active Opak and Dengkeng Faults. Therefore, an earthquake hazard analysis using the worst-case scenario from the Opak and Dengkeng Faults is necessary for disaster mitigation efforts. This study aims to model deterministic earthquake hazards based on microtremor data using the worst-case scenario from the Opak and Dengkeng Faults. A geophysical approach is employed in this research by applying the Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method based on microtremor measurements. The HVSR method characterizes local site effects that influence ground shaking during an earthquake. The earthquake hazard analysis at the ground surface is conducted using the Deterministic Seismic Hazard Analysis (DSHA) method, considering local site effects based on microtremor measurement data. The DSHA results indicate high Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) values, primarily due to the influence of the Opak and Dengkeng Faults, which suggest a significant risk of damage. The findings of this study can serve as input for spatial planning and disaster risk reduction management, particularly in Depok District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
