Abstract

Background: Anemia in adolescents is a health problem that needs immediate intervention in Indonesia. Anemia can caused by malnutrition.  protein and iron deficiency will cause nutritional problems including stunted, thinness, and Mid Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) < 23,5 cm. Protein and iron deficiency can interfere with the formation of hemoglobin resulting in anemia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between status based on height, Body Mass Index (BMI) and MUAC with anemia status at Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School in Gresik Regency. Method: This research is a quantitative observational analytic with the cross sectional method. The population was adolescent girls in Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School in Gresik Regency. The sample was 11th and 12th grade senior high school girls with a total of 141 respondents using the total sampling technique. The variables used in this research consisted of height, BMI, MUAC, and anemia. Height data was obtained by using microtoise, BMI using microtoise and scales, MUAC using tape measure plastic, and hemoglobin using the digital tool of Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. The research data were analyzed by chi square test with a contingency coefficient of 95%. Result: The results showed that out of 141 adolescent girls, 66.7% had normal height status, 23.4% were stunted, and 9.9% were severely stunted. In BMI status, 55.3% normal, 14.9% thinness, 15.6% overweight, and 14.2% obese. MUAC status was 79.4% with MUAC ≥ 23.5 cm and 20.6% with MUAC < 23.5 cm. Anemia status was 51.8% frail and 48.2% not anemic. After the chi square test, the significance value was obtained (p=0.006), which means that statistically there was a significant relationship between height and anemia, (p=0.003) there was a significant relationship between BMI and anemia, and (p=0.01) there was a significant relationship between MUAC and anemia.  Conclusion: There is a relationship between nutritional status based on height, BMI, and MUAC with anemia status in adolescent girls at Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School in Gresik Regency.

Abstract

This research is based on the important role of technology as one of the supporters of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of madrasah students regarding technology-assisted mathematics learning, differences in perceptions between male and female students, students' perceptions when viewed from the indicators, and students' opinions on distance learning during pandemic. This study uses descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches to students of MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi class Xmathsci. on the academic year 2020/2021. The instruments used are closed questionnaires and written interview questions that has been validated. The data analysis technique used an interval approach determined by the Ideal Mean (Mi) and the Ideal Standard Deviation (SDi) to determine the category of perception as well as verbal analysis. The conclusion obtained is that students have positive perceptions regarding technology-assisted learning in distance learning, both male and female students have positive perceptions, and students' opinions about the distance learning that has been implemented are mostly the learning experiences are to use Google Classroom and then WhatsApp.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is a form of planning a business to achieve its goals with optimal results. In the world of insurance, competition is something that needs to be considered, especially in the field of marketing, marketing is the most important factor that greatly influences the performance of an insurance institution. insurance institutions must hold promotional communications to prospective customers, because this is the key to success in providing products or services to prospective customers. The research method used in this journal is a qualitative research method. In this study using descriptive research type. The marketing strategy implemented by PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Kediri is a marketing mix strategy consisting of product strategy, price strategy, location strategy, promotion strategy, service strategy, process strategy, service people/officers, and physical evidence support strategy. PT. Al Amin Kediri Sharia Life Insurance in increasing the number of participants The highest percentage increase for 3 years in 2022 is 37% then the smallest percentage in 2020 is 18%. Increase from 2020 to 2021 by 7%, from 2021 to 2022 by 12%. The table above shows that the increase in the number of insurance participants occurred at Al Amin, but this still did not meet the target of Al Amin because the planned target was around 50%. This was because at that time the marketing mix had already been implemented at PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Al Amin Kediri. but the implementation has not been 100% done because there are obstacles in the implementation of the 7p marketing mix

Abstract

Dinamika dalam kajian ini berkaitan dengan peran pemerintah desa dalam praktik Pemberdayaan Masyarakat khususnya bagi UMKM di Desa Kerato Kecamatan Unter Iwes Kabupaten Sumbawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Pemerintah Desa dalam praktik Pemberdayaan bagi UMKM di Desa. Peneliti berusaha untuk mengungkapkan sebuah gambaran, pengetahuan, dan juga memperoleh sebuah pemahaman, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini: 1). Pemerintah Desa Kerato menjalankan perannya kurang baik, hal ini dapat dilihat melalui pelaksanaan program yang baru akan dilaksanakan. Banyaknya pengusaha yang mengeluh dengan modal yang paspasaan, dan program bantuan baru akan dilaksanakan tahun ini. 2). Faktor penghambat yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah Desa Kerato, yaitu kurangnya informasi dari pemerintah kepada masyarakat dan lambatnya pemerintah Desa dalam melakukan tindakan dari keluhan pengusaha.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum on learning motivation. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Research data collection techniques were carried out by filling out questionnaires and interviews. The subjects of this research were mathematics teachers and students of class VII 8 MTsN 3 Kuningan. The instruments used in this research were a motivation questionnaire sheet, an independent curriculum questionnaire sheet and an interview guide. The results of this research show that implementing an independent curriculum can increase student learning motivation. The existence of an independent curriculum is implemented by giving students freedom to explore their knowledge as widely as possible and providing space for exploration, increasing creativity and active participation which overall increases students' interest in learning mathematics

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus. DHF is mediated by the mosquito vector, the Aedes mosquito. The proliferation of dengue vector is influenced by many factors, one of which is climate factors. DHF is one of the main public health problems in Indonesia. Cases of dengue were first discovered in 1968 in the city of Jakarta and Surabaya. Currently Surabaya is one of the dengue endemic areas in Indonesia. . The case of DHF in the city of Surabaya can be said to be still quite high compared with another city in Indonesia, although there is a decrease in the number from year to year. When examined, many factors influence the high number of dengue cases in Surabaya, one of which is climate factor. Climate factors play a role in the proliferation of DHF vectors. Therefore, this study aims to examine for 10 years, namely in 2007 - 2017 whether there is a correlation between climate factors with dengue cases in the city of Surabaya., which in this study the climate factors used are rainfall, average temperature, and average air humidity. This research uses an analytical method namely Spearman on the SPSS software version 20. The results obtained that the case of DHF in the city of Surabaya has no relationship with climatic factors such as rainfall and average temperature with a significance value of the relationship p> 0.05. While the climate factor that has a relationship with DHF cases in Surabaya City is air humidity with a significance value of p <0.05 and has a positive relationship with the value of r = + 0.190. It can be concluded that not all climate factors have a relationship with the DHF case in Surabaya in 2007 - 2017, which has a relationship with the DHF case is air humidity.

Abstract

Livestock would be a risk factor of resistant bacteria that impact on human health. Rural area with farms as major economic source has become a risk of the spread of the ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae The aim of the study was to explore the distribution and risk factor of ESBL (extended-spectrum β-lactamase) producing Enterobacteriaceae in the gut bacterial flora of dairy cows and people surrounding farming area. Total of 204 fecal swab samples were collected, 102 from dairy cows and 102 from farmers. Samples were sub-cultured by streaking on MacConkey agar supplemented with 2 mg/L cefotaxime. The growing colonies were confirmed of the ESBL producer by Modified Double Disk Test (M-DDST) and identification of Enterobacteriaceae by biochemical test. ESBL genes were identified by PCR. ESBL producing bacteria were found 13.7% in dairy cows and 34.3% in farmers. ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae in dairy cows were 6.9% and in farmers of 33.3%. Statistical analysis showed: Distribution of ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae strain were insignificant among dairy cows and farmers while blaTEM distribution was significantly different (p= 0,035) and use of antibiotic was identified as a risk factor of colonization of ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae in farmers (p= 0,007). Farmers had suspected as the source of ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae based on higher prevalence. Further education of appropriate use of antibiotic need to enhance to control risk factor and prevent the colonization of ESBL producing Enterobacteriaceae

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hidroksiapatit merupakan salah satu material biokeramik dengan rumus kimia Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 yang termasuk dalam senyawa kelompok mineral apatit yang terdiri dari kalsium dan fosfor. Sintesis hidroksiapatit dapat menggunakan bahan alami yaitu sisik ikan gabus (Channa striata). Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik hidroksiapatit dari sisik ikan gabus dengan variasi suhu kalsinasi. Metode: Penelitian ini mensintesis sisik ikan gabus dengan menggunakan prekrusor kalsium hidroksida (Ca(OH)2) dan asam fosfat (H3PO4) serta penambahan larutan NaOH. Endapan hidroksiapatit sisik ikan gabus yang dihasilkan lalu dikalsinasi menggunakan berbagai variasi suhu yaitu 700⸰C, 800⸰C, dan 900⸰C. Karakterisasi struktur derajat kristalinitas hidroksiapatit ditentukan dengan menggunakan x-ray diffraction (XRD) Hasil: Analisa XRD menunjukkan derajat kristalinitas hidroksiapatit sisik ikan gabus pada suhu suhu 700⸰C dengan tingkat derajat kristalinitas 67.7%, 800⸰C dengan tingkat derajat kristalinitas 79.2%, dan pada suhu 900⸰C dengan tingkat derajat kristalinitas 58.5% Kesimpulan: Suhu 800⸰C merupakan suhu optimum dalam sintesis sisik ikan gabus dikarenakan memiliki derajat kristalinitas yang paling tinggi. Abstract

Angka kematian ibu merupakan salah satu indikator yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai derajat kesehatan masyarakat di suatu negara. Penyebab paling umum kematian ibu adalah perdarahan obstetri, termasuk perdarahan postpartum. Terdapat banyak faktor risiko yang bisa menyebabkan perdarahan postpartum, salah satunya adalah jarak persalian. Perdarahan postpartum dideifinisikan sebagai adanya kehilangan darah ≥500 ml pada persalinan pervaginam atau ≥1000 ml pada persalinan sectio caesare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan jarak persalinan dengan perdarahan postpartum di RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda. Desain peneitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah case-control studyatau studi kasus kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu bersalin yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda periode 2019-2021. Data dikumpulkan melalui rekam medik ibu bersalin yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda periode 2019-2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Terdapat 66 responden yang termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Ibu bersalin dengan perdarahan postpartum sebanyak 33 ibu (kasus) dan ibu bersalin yang tidak mengaami perdarahan postpartum sebanyak 33 ibu (kontrol). Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan nilai p-value yang didapatkan adalah 0,319 yang artinya tidak terdapat hubungan antara jarak persalinan dengan perdarahan postpartum. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan jarak persalinan dengan perdarahan postpartum di RSUD Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda.Kata Kunci : Kematian ibu, Jarak Persalinan, Perdarahan Postopartum

Abstract

This research examines the impact of developing the Diniyah Program as an innovative strategy for improving the quality of student learning in Madrasah. The Diniyah program is integrated as an essential component in the madrasah curriculum with the hope of making a significant contribution to the holistic development of learners. Through an in-depth analysis of the implementation of the Diniyah Program, this study aims to investigate the role of the program in improving the quality of learning, involving religious aspects, critical thinking skills, curriculum integration, moral character building, and promotion of diversity tolerance. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, classroom observation, and analysis of curriculum-related documents. The results showed that (1) the development of the Diniyah Program has had a significant positive impact in improving the quality of student learning. (2) Learners demonstrate progress in religious understanding, development of critical thinking skills, and balanced integration between religious aspects and general science. In addition, (3) the Diniyah Program also has a role in shaping students' moral character, creating individuals who have integrity and good ethics. Tolerance and diversity have also increased, creating an inclusive madrasah environment.
