Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya keberagaman medan makna verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang. Masalah umum dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimanakah medan makna verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang?”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode lingustik deskriptif dengan bentuk  kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terdapat 27 leksem verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang yang dianalisis dari 7 sudut pandang. Jenis makna verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang diperoleh 27 makna leksikal, 22 makna gramatikal, dan 21 makna referensial, 27 makna denotatif, 1 makna kata, 4 makna kolokatif. Fungsi semantis dari leksem-leksem pada medan makna verba memasak dalam Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang adalah untuk memasak baik yang menggunakan media air, minyak ataupun tidak menggunakan minyak dan air.   Kata kunci: medan makna, verba memasak, Bahasa Melayu Dialek Ketapang Abstract: The background  of this research is various semantic domain of cooking verb in Melayu Ketapang Dialect. This research purposes the describe about cooking verb in Melayu Ketapang Dialect. General problem in this research is “How semantic domain of cooking verb in Melayu Ketapang Dialect?. This research uses linguistic descriptive method with qualitative form. Based on data analysis result there are 27 lexemes of cooking verb in Melayu ketapang Dialect which is analysed from 7 viewpoint. The type meaning of cooking verb in Melayu Ketapang Dialect are obtained 27 lexical meanings, 22 grammatical meanings, 21 referential meanings, 27 denotasional meanings, 1 word meaning, and 4 kolokatif meanings. Semantic functions of lexem in semantic domain of cooking verb in Melayu Ketapang Dialect are to cook both used water, oil and fire (not using oil and water).   Keywords: semantic domain, cooking verb, Melayu Ketapang Dialect.

Abstract

AbstractSosiolek is variation of the language with regard to status, groups, socialclasses and speakers. Sosiolek is variation related to the science of Sociolinguistics. The researchers chose sosiolek in research to describe the inventory, variation, and language function in the community of transvestites in the city of Pontianak. Special issue of how the inventory of vocabulary in the language environment of the union of transvestites Pontianak town (Perwapon), how variation transsexual union environment in Pontianak town (Perwapon), how language functions at union City's Transvestites Pontianak (Perwapon).This research uses descriptive method, a form of qualitative research, and sociolinguistic approaches. The source of the data in this study was the informant (transvestites), and its data are words used in everyday conversation transvestites. The technique of data collection conducted in this research is the technique of fishing rods, and record and note. The data analysis undertaken in this study, the researchers did a transcript of all the vocabulary. Keywords: Informant transsexual language and sosiolek.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the problems faced by students when speaking. Weak ability of students to master the topic of talk, fluency, selection of appropriate diction, reduce the variety of regional languages and use Indonesian language, and appropriate intonation placement. The purpose of this study is the description of think-pair-share learning model (TPS) in improving speaking skills. This study specifically aims to describe the use of think-pair-share (TPS) learning models in improving students' ability in speaking according to the topic of conversation, fluency, diction, regional language variety and intonation in class XI IPA 2 of SMA N 1 Teluk Keramat in the academic year 2015/2016.The type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The data of this study are planning, implementing, and speaking test result. The source of this research data is Indonesian language teachers and the students of XI IPA 2. Data are analyzed with descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis, before the action is taken or at the pre-action stage, the average score of students is 67.5. The score in the first cycle after using think-pair-share learning model (TPS) increased to 72.2. The score in cycle II after using think-pair-share learning model (TPS) increased to 78.6. Based on the data from the students' speaking test results, from the pre-action stage, cycle I and cycle II, the total of increase score are 11.1. Abstract

AbstractLearning to write news texts is an important thing to do. This is due to advances in technology and information in today's modern era. Information that is around us can be known by the crowd. One way is to create news. News as a true event of its existence and has happened can be interesting if the data is packed well too. As a writing skill, learning to write news text can be implemented using learning models in Curriculum 2013. This research was conducted in class XII Administration Office SMKN 3 Pontianak. The purpose of research in learning to write this news text is to describe and conclude about the implementation process, obstacles and the results of learning to write news text. The method used in this study is qualitative, that is to describe the results of research using words. The result is the process of writing textual news execution using Problem Based Learning model. The student barriers include the use of punctuation and the application of predefined spellings, as well as the determination of topic and news writing. The result of learning text writing news students quite well. There are three components that have not been well practiced students, namely word selection, application of structure and sentence formation.       Keywords: learning writing, news text, learning model Curriculum 2013.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is to investigate the function of the Nopeng dance ritual in the Notokng traditional ceremony. 1) Describe the Nopeng dance ritual in the Notokng traditional ceremony, 2) Describe the mask form of the Nopeng dance ritual in the Notokng traditional ceremony, 3) Describe the implementation of the research result as the training material on the subject of art and culture. Used the descriptive method with qualitative and etno-choreology approaches with Adrianus Adiran as the source person who has a well understanding of the Nopeng dance ritual in the Notokng traditional ceremony at Senakin village. The result of an in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. Nopeng dance is one of the dance rituals exist among the Dayaknese Kanayatn tribe especially in a Notokng ceremony with the aims to call the ancient spirits and to guard the Notokng ceremony from the evil spirits. The result of this research is expected to be implemented in a Junior High School Art and Culture subject in the grade VII on the second semester.Keywords: Ritual, Masks forms, Nopeng dance

Abstract

AbstractIndonesian country has one language that become unifying nation language  that is Indonesian language, it is happen because Indonesia has various kind of language.This research is about local language. The method that use in this research is comparison method with qualitative as a form of the research. Technique of data collecting is induction techniques and skill method. Technique of data analysis is classification data, comparison, data analysis and conclusion of analysis result. Based on the result of analysis meaning relation in Malay Language Dialect of Melawi (BMDM )can be deducted that antonym BMDM by its nature is devided into four namely, absolute,  gradation, relation and hierarchy. There are 57 words in absolute antonym, there are 38 words in gradation, there are 38 words in relation and 7 words in heararchy. There ade 70 synonym in BMDM. There are 75 homonyms and 5 homographs in BMDM. There are 20 polysemics in BMDM. There is a lexical meaning in BMDM antonym meaning. The whole anonymous words contains a lexical meaning. There are cognitive meaning, connotative and emotive meaning in BMDM synonym meaning. There are referential and nonreferential meaning in BMDM homonym meaning. There are referential, nonreferential and idiomatic meaning ini BDMD polisemic meaning.Keyword: meaning of relation, dialect, Melawi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini memfokuskan peristilahan nyarek burong dalam masyarakat Melayu Sambas tepatnya di desa Ratu Sepudak Kecamatan Galing. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif, dan menggunakan pendekatan etnolinguistik yang memandang hubungan bahasa dengan unsur budaya dalam masyarakat. Analisis yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap data yang dikumpulkan mencakup istilah alat, proses, dan mantra. Analisis bentuk istilah, yaitu monomorfemis, polimorfemis, dan frasa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan makna istilah dalam tradisi nyarek burong secara leksikal dan kultural. Peristilahan dalam penilitian ini yakni 95 istilah yang terdiri dari 43 istilah alat, 36 istilah proses, 3 istilah waktu, 4 istilah tempat, dan 9 istilah pada mantra sebagai data penelitian yang didapatkan dari proses wawancara dan perekaman yang dilakukan peneliti. Hasil analisis keseluruhan data tersebut berupa 37 istilah berupa kata dasar atau monomorfemis, 38 istilah berupa polimorfemis yang terdiri dari 27 afiksasi dan 11 pemajemukan atau komposisi, serta 11 istilah berupa frasa. Istilah-istilah tersebut secara keseluruhan memiliki makna leksikal dan sebanyak 60 istilah mengandung makna kultural.   Kata Kunci: Nyarek burong, etnolinguistik, Melayu Sambas.   Abstract: This research focus the terminology of  Nyarek Burong in Malay Society of Sambas especially in Ratu Sepudak village, Galing subdistrict. This Research using descriptive method with qualitative research and using ethnolinguistics approach that looked language relation with cultural elements in society. Analysis that has been used by researcher to the data that has been collected cover verbality tools, process, and mantra. Analysis verbality is menomorfenis, polimorfenis and phrase. Besides, the researcher also conducted the meaning verbality analysis in Nyarek Burong tradition in lexical and cultural ways. This research success assamble 95 verbalities consist of 43  tools? verbalities, 36 times? verbalities, 4 areas? verbalities and 9 mantras? verbalities as research data was got from interview and record process conducted by researcher. The result of total data analysis was 37 verbalities basic word or monomorfenis, 38 verbalities polimorfenis consist of 27 affixations and 11compoundings or compositions and also 11 phrases? verbalities. Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the use of euphemism (refinement of meaning) contained in the editorial column of the Tribun Pontianak newspaper from July to September 2018. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Data collection techniques namely documentary studi techniques. Data collection tools namely research and data recording cards. The results showed that the form of euphemism from 47 data presented, obtained data the use of abbreviations as much as 5 data, the use of absorption word as much as 20 data, 3 the use of foreign terms 9 data, the use of metaphor 6 data, the use of 7 data perifrasis. Based on these results it is concluded that the use of uptake is more dominant in the use of euphemism. Then, the benefits of euphemism are obtained for politeness and comfort as much as 22 data, to disguise the meaning of 18 data, to reduce the shame of 6 data, and to carry out religious orders 1 data. Based on these results, it is concluded that the benefits of euphemism for politeness and comfort are more often used in uphemisms. Keywords: Form, Editorial, Euphemism, and Benefits.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the elements of linguistic rules that build the pantun text, see and know the forms of tradition and culture in the Sambas Malay community which is reflected in the pantun text. The general problem in this study is "What are the language rules in the Sambas Malay customary text collection?" The general problem is divided into specific sub-topics, namely "(1) rhyme, (2) diction, (3) image form, (4) figuratively, (5) implementation in learning? "The theory in this study relates to the structure and rules of rhyme. The methodology applied is descriptive qualitative form. Obtaining data is done by documentary study techniques. There are 40 pantun data. The data source of the research is a collection of poetry texts which contains a description of the culture of the Sambas Malay community and data collection tools such as stationery, recording cards, and laptops. The results of this study are (1) rhymes with vowel and consonant suffixes, (2) Choice of words that include general, special, ancient word choices. (3) The form of pengimaji in rhymes which includes the form of tradition and culture of the Sambas Malay community. Abstract

AbstractThe researcher selected code and mixed switching as the research focus because of a frequet phenomenon in daily lives. Movie was selected because of portrayal of lives which was depicted into scenes in certain topic. The problems discussed in this research were code switching, mixed switching, factors that cause the used of code and mixed switching in movie Rudy Habibie and forms of texts as supplementary materials in teaching indonesian language, with a purpose to describe the problems. This research used some methods, namely data collection method, data validity assessment and data analysis. These methods aimed to give depiction of the result of research systematically, factually and acurately regarding facts, characters and the relations of problems investigated. This research was qualitative by using scientific background. The corpus was trascripted dilagoues of movie Rudy Habibie and the data used was utterances which contain code and mixed switching. The data collection technique consisted of data transcript techniue and note technique. Data validity assessment technique was observation and adequate reference. The results of code and mixed switching of movie Rudy Habibie were: code switching was internal and external code switching, while mixed switching wasin a form of words and phrases. Keywords: Code Switching, Characteristics, Mixed Switching
