Abstract

Abstract       The problem of this study is focused on the foklore of the Dayak Randuk tribe (cultural structure and value). The purpose of this study describes the structure and cultural value contained in the foklore of the Dayak randuk tribe.This research uses descriptive methods with the form of the research is qualitative. The sources of the research are from the set of foklore stories of Dayak Randuk. They are stories that have been researched they are (1) teks Nyntak Nyuntai, (2) teks Legenda Batu Randuk, (3) teks Raja Deah, (4) teks Cit Inai, (5) teks Raja Kancil. The structure contain inthe stories, plot, story figure (charakter is story) background and theme. The cultures value the consisted in the foklore of Dayak Randuk include the view of nature and view of another.       Keyword: foklore, structure, culture value.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan perkembangan watak tokoh utama dalam novel Harga Diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrument kunci.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Harga Diri karya Saut Poltak Tambunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ditemukan 17 data yang mengandung peranan perkembangan watak tokoh utama yang terdapat empat permasalahan utama yaitu: 2 data pada watak tokoh utama yang dibagi menjadi watak positif dan watak negatif. 3 data pada perkembangan watak tokoh utama yaitu, dinamis tidak baik, dinamis baik dan statis baik. 12 data pada peran tokoh terhadap perkembangan watak tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar bagi dosen untuk perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi terutama pada Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia pada mata kuliah Kajian Prosa semester tiga.   Kata Kunci: Peranan, Perkembangan, Watak Tokoh, Novel Abstract: This study aims to describe the development role of the main character in the novel the character of Harga Diri. The method used is descriptive method, data collection forms kualitatif.Teknik research using documentary study. Data collection tool used is the researchers themselves as the instrument kunci.Sumber data in this study is novel Dignity works Saut Poltak Tambunan. Based on the results of the study data analysis found 17 of data containing the character development of the role of the main character, there are four main issues, namely: 2 data on the character of the main characters are divided into positive character and negative character. 3 Data on the development of the character of the main character, namely, the dynamic is not good, both dynamic and static either. 12 data on the role of leader to the development of the character of the main character. The results could be used as teaching material for lecturers to lecture at universities, especially in the Department of Language Education and Art, Indonesian Education Studies Program at Prose Study subjects third semester.   Keywords: Role, Development, Character, Novel

Abstract

Abstrak: Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) rima yang terdapat dalam mantra barapus masyarakat Dayak Kanayatnmeliputi: (a) rima berdasarkan bunyi/suaranya: rima penuh, rima mutlak, rima paruh, rima aliterasi, rima asonansi, rima konsonan, dan rima desonansi. (b) rima menurut letaknya kata dalam baris: rima awal, rima tengah, dan rima akhir. (c) rima menurut letak persamaan bunyi dalam baris: rima datar. (d) rima menurut letak pasangan dalam bait: rima terus dan rima bebas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, rima yang paling dominan berdasarkan bunyi / suaranya adalah rima aliterasi. Rima yang paling dominan berdasarkan letaknya kata dalam baris adalah rima awal. Sedangkan rima yang paling dominan menurut letak pasangan dalam bait adalah rima bebas.(2) fungsi yang terdapat dalam mantra barapus masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn meliputi: (a) fungsi sosial dan (b) fungsi religius. (3) lingkungan pembacaan mantra barapus masyarakat Dayak Kanayatn meliputi: (a) bahan-bahan yang digunakan, dan (b) prosesi pembacaan mantra. Kata Kunci: Bahasa Mantra, Upacara Barapus. Abstract::The result of the research are (1) the rhymes obtained in the spell of Dayak Kanayatn barapus includes: (a) rhyme which is based on the sound or voice: whole rhyme, absolute rhyme, half rhyme , alliteration rhyme, assonance rhyme, consonant rhyme and dissonance rhyme. (b)rhyme based on its location on the lines: early rhyme, middle rhyme, last rhyme. (c) rhyme based on its similarity of voice or sound in lines: flat rhyme. (d) rhyme based on its pair in verse: continuous rhyme and free rhyme. Based on the analysis result, the most dominant rhyme based on its voice or sound is alliteration rhyme. The most dominant rhyme based on its words location in lines is early rhyme. Meanwhile the most dominant according to its location of pairs in verse is free rhyme. (2) the function contained in barapus spell of Dayak Kanayatn included: (a) social function (b) religious function. (3) the environment where the barapus spell of Dayak Kanayatn were perused included: (a) materials used, and (b) speel perusing procession.   Keywords: Spell Language, Barapus Ceremony.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan paragraf. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kualitatif. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam mengembangkan paragraf. Presentasi siswa yang menggunakan transisi adalah 23,33%, menggunakan kalimat topik 63,33, menggunakan kalimat pengembang 36,6. Kalimat penegas sebesar 13,33%. Pada siklus II peningkatan pada transisi 80%,  kalimat topik 83,33, kalimat pengembang 60% dan kalimat penegas 60%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan paragraf meningkat, terutama  pada siklus III Jadi kesimpulannya bahwa mengajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa untuk pembelajaran mengarang.   Kata Kunci : Kemampuan, mengembangkan, paragraf  model picture   Abstrak: Objective to improve students' ability to develop paragraphs. This study is a qualitative course of a study. The study design used is classroom action research conducted three cycles. In the first cycle an increase students' skills in developing paragraph. Presentation of students who use the transition is 23.33%, 63.33 using a topic sentence, using the phrase developers 36.6. Confirmation sentence of 13.33%. In the second cycle 80% increase on the transition, 83.33 topic sentence, phrase and sentence developers 60% 60% confirmation. The results showed that the ability of students to develop increasing paragraphs, especially on the third cycle.. So the conclusion that teaching using learning model picture and picture can enhance students' understanding of the learning fabricate. Keyword : Ability , developing , paragraph picture models

Abstract

AbstractSaman and Larung are novels that tell about history and politics. There are a lot of moral values that can be learned. Thus, the writer wants to explore the values contain in the novels. The writer uses descriptive method, qualitative research, and sociological literature approach. The sources used in this research are novels by Ayu Utami Saman and Larung. The data obtained are words, sentences, and texts that have moral values. Reading and taking notes are used as data gathering method by presenting character and characterization of the main character. Data reliability is tested by checking references, peer reading and discussion, and triangulation. Based on the data analysis, there are three conclusions. They are (1) value of fear of God. (2) honesty, friendship, helpful, respect others, and respect government. (3) self-control, fear of sins, modesty, confession, self-esteem, just, and careful.                                                                                                                            Key word: moral values, Saman and Larung by Ayu Utami

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low acquisition of student scores on listening to poetry. The author takes an action through the discovery learning method with audio visual media to improve poetry listening skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation and results of listening to poetry using the discovery learning method with audio visual media. The method used in this research is descriptive form of classroom action research. This study was conducted in 2 cycles, the procedure for conducting research in each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting learning. The results obtained from this study include: in the first cycle of planning that is equal to 68 (good enough) in the second cycle to 96 (very good). The results of the implementation in the first cycle were 77 (good enough) in the second cycle to 93 (very good). The average results of listening to poetry in the first cycle were 70,96 (good enough) in the second cycle to 80.82 (good). The results of student attitudes assessment include: honest, discipline, responsibility, tolerance in the first cycle of 67.45 (good enough) and in the second cycle to 79.16 (good enough). Key words: Poetry Listening Skills, Discovery Learning Method, Audio Visual

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to know the emotions of the main character in novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora. The goal was to describe the positive and negative emotions towards the attitude of the main character as well as the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian Language in schools. The theory used in this research was B.F. Skinner theory. This research applied descriptive, qualitative, and psychological method. The data source in this study is novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora. In collecting the data, the researcher used documentary study technique. The tool of data collection used in thie research was the researcher herself as a key instrument. In conclusion, the results of the analysis were, (1) positive emotions influence the main character's attitude were 6 emotions of love, and 13 emotions of happiness. (2) Negative emotions influence the main character's attitude were 4 emotions of worry and anxiety, 4 emotions of fear, 5 emotions of anger, and 6 emotions of sadness. (3) Novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora can be used as teaching material in schools because there are values of struggle and moral messages to be applied in achieving ideals and a better future. Keywords: Logical, Main Character, Behavioral Psychology.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur dan fungsi mantra pemanis dirik Masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan struktural semiotik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dihasilkan simpulan sebagai berikut: rima yang terdapat dalam mantra pemanis dirik masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang meliputi rima menurut bunyi; rima sempurna, rima tak sempurna, rima mutlak, rima terbuka, rima tertutup. Rima menurut letaknya; rima awal, rima tengah, rima akhir. Citraan yang terdapat dalam mantra pemanis dirik masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang meliputi; citraan penglihatan, citraan pendengaran, citraan pengecapan. Makna yang terdapat dalam mantra pengobatan masyarakat Melayu meliputi; makna religious dan makna sosial. Implementasi hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran yaitu dilihat dari aspek kurikulum KTSP, penulis menjadikan mantrapemanis dirik sebagai satu di antara pelajaran tambahan di SMA.   Kata Kunci : Struktur, Fungsi, Mantra Pemanis Dirik Abstract : Thepurpose of this study isto discover the structure of a spell in a spell sweetener self Malay Society Subdistrict Kendawangan.The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative forms. Based on the results of data analysis, it leads do conclusions as follows: there is a mantra in the sweetener self Malay community subdistrict Kendawangan Ketapang that covers; rhyme based on sound; perfect rhyme, inperfect rhyme, absolute rhyme, opened rhyme, closed rhyme. Rhyme by its order;beginning rhyme, middle rhyme, ending rhyme. The images contained in the mantra sweetener self Malay community subdistrict Kendawangan Ketapang include; the imagery of vision, images of hearing, imagery of tasting. The meaning contained in the Malay community treatment spells includes; the meaning of religious and social significance. The implementation ofthe results of the research in learning can be seen from the aspect of curriculum SBC, the author makes the spell sweetener self as one of the additional subjectin high school. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pendeskripsian unsur alur yang terdapat dalam roman Jejak Langkah Karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dan pengimplementasian pembelajaran unsur alur yang terdapat dalam roman Jejak LangkahPramoedya Ananta Toer terhadap mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi karenasebagian besar laporan penelitian dilakukan dengan menggambarkan suatu objek sesuai dengan kenyataan yang ada tanpa dilebih-lebihkan. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif karena penelitian ini menghasilkan data berupa kutipan kalimat-kalimat dengan demikian penelitian ini pada akhirnya menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kalimat yang berkaitan dengan struktur. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan struktural objektif karenapada pendekatan ini yang diteliti adalah struktur dalam karya sastra. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa pedoman untuk menentukan alur cerita dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah secara terarah dan cermat.   Kata kunci : Analisis, alur, roman This research aims to described plot of “Jejak Langkah” Romance by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and its implementation in “Bahasa Indonesia” subject of learning. The method used was Description Method for the majority of research reports was conducted by describing objects consistentlybased on the thruthwithout any exaggeration. It was a qualitative research which producing quote sentences that produced descriptive data in sentences form which related to the stucture. Objective Structural Approach was used in this research because the study was mostly emphasized structure of literature. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the elements that build up the beauty of the sound of a mantra in mantra sinyaruba'atn Dayak Kanayatn and knowing diction and function in the rituals of Dayak Kanayatn. The method used is descriptive method qualitative form. The approach used is structural semiotic approach to analyze every research problem. The results of the data analysis is the choice of words used are common words, special words and concrete word choice. Rima used include full rima, rima absolute, half rhyme, assonance rhyme, rhyme konsonansi, desonansi rima, rima form, rhyme alliteration, rhyme chain, rima beginning, middle rhyme, and rhymes akhir.fungdi mantra includes projection function and function as a tool the enactment of coercive social norms. Disposable covers an area of storytelling environment sinyaruba'atn mantra used by 4 villages and the speaker's situation spells are locals who got the gift directly by Jubata (God). Lingkungan penceritaan meliputi daerah pakai mantra sinyaruba’atn dipakai oleh 4 desa dan situasi penutur mantra adalah warga setempat yang mendapat karunia langsung oleh Jubata (Tuhan).
